Blackout poetry exists on a dual axis from "banal" to "insightful" on the input side and "kind of deep" to "incredibly fucking dumb" on the output side, and while taking something banal and producing something kind of deep is well and fine, for my money taking something insightful and rendering it incredibly fucking dumb is where the real art is.

Decided to fix some transphobic posts @fixing-bad-posts style. I find it the most therapeutic thing I can do when I run into transphobia in the wild. I put image descriptions in the alt text. Note: the “try testosterone” post was screenshotted on a different post and I edited that post screenshotted it.

the internet is great because a conservative will spent a significant chunk of time writing an in-depth, essay-style post about how transgender people are ruining the world and going to hell when they die and then someone screenshots it, covers up parts of it and posts it to tumblr so it just says "trans is s wa g"
