I think Black Honey by Thrice would seriously fit Jimmy from Mouthwashing

I mean I think technically it’s about how we were being assholes to people in the Middle East about oil and stuff and we don’t know why they’re mad enough at us to attack

But I think the lyrics can apply to anything where a character is repeatedly messing up and doing horrible and/or dumb things and then not understanding why it keeps blowing up in their face

And they expect it all to go great, nobody gets upset. But things just go poorly for them.

Thus, Jimmy! Cause he keeps hurting his crew, from causing the crash to sending Daisuke through the vent to doing horrible things to Anya.

But he thinks they should love him. Celebrate him.

It’s never allowed to be his fault. He won’t let it be.

So why are “the bees stinging him”? He doesn’t understand.

things that I love 💗

I saw a list of things that someone loves and I thought that's such a good idea some things might be similar but here are some things that I can't get enough of!

blankets of snow covering the rolling fields, and the sun reflecting off of it creating such an angelic light over the landscape

tea with honey and oat milk rather than sugar and dairy milk (you've got to try this)

the bunny jellycats, they remind me of my childhood

leading on from that, any stuffed toys from my childhood that are scraggly and falling apart but I can't bear to part from

literature, especially history books and gothic lit

notebooks that have lovely firm paper like Pukka Pads or the Oxford notebooks; they give me a sense of security

seeing people's bags and how the insides match them completely, on Pinterest I always see perfectly messy and curated bags

comically large pasta. I've eaten conchigle pasta that was the size of my hand and I thought if I d/ed then I'd be content knowing I've eaten that.

bright green pasta I'm talking blended spinach and pesto with green tagliatelle that's what I'm talking about

winter, I don't mind summer but I truly thrive in the winter! Sure the SAD might affect me a bit but it's such a beautiful time and it's far better than summer for me

spring, it's the perfect time just before the heatwaves come where there's still a breeze, the animals are being born and it becomes socially acceptable to drink cold beverages again even though I do it all year round (iced coffees are scared to see me coming)

rock music! I'm a bit of a metalhead and love everything 70's and 80's, it's either that or Lana del Rey

hugs and kisses with my friends, holding their hands. They are so wonderful and physical touch is the best way I show my love

walking aimlessly, I love to walk for hours and hours whether it's in my town or on a proper hike. my ankles might hurt but if I take a snack all is well

trying to get better. I'm really trying lately to stop thinking negatively because it's all I've done since I was maybe 8 years old and I decided this year that I'm going to stop and it gives me hope that I can feel better soon, it's wonderful
