Kosmo Mono 100 x Seagull TLR
Well it has been some time since I’ve gotten around to writing about photography. It’s not that I haven’t been thinking about it or shooting when I can… It’s just been some time since I’ve had the time to sit down and write down my thoughts. Irish Rail's Wicklow Cabin—Armstrong Levers at Work.
In the summer of 1998, Denis McCabe and I paid a visit to Wicklow Cabin on the Dublin & South Eastern route. I don’t recall his name, but he was friendly and enjoyed having his photo made. I processed the film in Ilford ID11, and many years later scanned the negatives…

I bought this camera back in 2009, mainly because the photographic stalwart, Charlie Waite, was advertising them. Fishing against the Light (and rain)
This photo I shared eight years ago is a great example of contre-jour, the term for shooting directly into the light source.
Some dish for fun while others fish for food by Luther Roseman Dease II This photo I shared eight years ago is a great example of contre-jour, the term for shooting directly into the light source. Luther explains that the light creates a form of the subject without releasing its precious and cluttered details unto photography’s artistry. See many more examples in his Contre-Jour gallery on…
