Goliath Bird Eater aka Giant Tarantula (Theraphosa blondi), family Therophosidae, found in northern South America

This spider has the largest body of any spider in the world, with a body length of up to 13 cm (5.1 in), and a weight of up to 175 g (6.2 oz), and a leg-spread of up to 30 cm (12 in).

Despite the name, this tarantula rarely feeds on birds. They feed mainly on invertebrates, frogs, and sometimes on small reptiles.

the southern carmine bee-eater is a colorful member of the bee-eater family endemic to sub-equatorial africa. they can be differentiated from the similar northern carmine bee-eater by their lack of a blue throat. as their name suggest, they primarily feed on flying insects with a preference for bees. they typically feed by swooping from a perch to catch an insect in flight. they are attracted to the insects displaced into the air during wildfires, and can be found actively feeding around fires.

The Kori Bustard is the largest flying bird in Africa.

the black bee-eater is a member of the bee-eater family found in tropical rainforests & secondary forests in africa. they are mainly black, with a scarlet throat and bright blue markings on their crown and the underside of their body. as their name implies, they are insectivorous and prefer bees & wasps. they feed on these insects without injury by repeatedly banging & rubbing the insect on a hard surface, which discharges the majority of their venom and/or removes the stinger.
