From Soil to Harvest: Maximizing Crop Yields with Biological Seed Inoculation
In the world of modern agriculture, where the need for increased crop yields is paramount, biological seed inoculation has emerged as a powerful tool. This technique, which involves the application of beneficial microorganisms to seeds before planting, offers a promising solution for farmers looking to boost productivity while minimizing environmental impacts. In this article, we will explore the science behind biological seed inoculation and how it maximizes crop yields, from the soil to the harvest.
The Science of Biological Seed Inoculation
Biological seed inoculation is rooted in the symbiotic relationships that certain microorganisms can form with plants. By introducing these beneficial microbes to seeds, we set the stage for a harmonious partnership that benefits crops in several ways.
Protection Against Pathogens: A primary role of biological seed inoculation is to protect plants from harmful pathogens. Some microorganisms act as natural biocontrol agents, outcompeting disease-causing organisms and reducing the need for chemical pesticides. This natural defense mechanism safeguards crop yields and reduces environmental contamination.
Enhanced Nutrient Uptake: Beneficial microorganisms play a pivotal role in improving nutrient uptake by plants. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen into a form that plants can utilize, reducing the reliance on synthetic nitrogen fertilizers. Mycorrhizal fungi form symbiotic relationships with plant roots, increasing the absorption of vital nutrients like phosphorus and potassium.
Stress Tolerance: In an era of changing climate patterns, plants often face environmental stressors like drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures. Biological seed inoculation equips plants with the tools to withstand these challenges. Some microorganisms produce stress-resistance proteins or enhance root growth and water retention.
Promotion of Growth and Development: Certain microbes, known as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), actively stimulate plant growth. They achieve this by producing growth hormones, solubilizing nutrients, and improving root development, resulting in healthier and more vigorous crops.
Benefits of Biological Seed Inoculation
The adoption of biological seed inoculation offers a multitude of benefits for both farmers and the environment.
Reduced Chemical Dependency: By decreasing the need for chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, biological seed inoculation reduces the environmental footprint of agriculture. This approach aligns with sustainable farming practices that prioritize environmental stewardship.
Improved Soil Health: Over time, biological seed inoculation can enhance soil health by promoting beneficial microbial communities in the soil. This leads to improved soil structure, nutrient cycling, and overall soil fertility.
Consistent Crop Yields: Biological seed inoculation ensures more consistent and reliable crop yields, even in challenging environmental conditions. This stability is crucial for food security and economic sustainability.
Cost Efficiency: While initial investment costs may be higher, long-term savings are achieved through reduced chemical inputs and increased crop productivity. Farmers can reap the benefits of a healthier bottom line.
Conclusion
Biological seed inoculation represents a paradigm shift in modern agriculture. By harnessing the power of beneficial microorganisms, we are not only maximizing crop yields but also reducing the environmental impact of farming. This approach aligns with the global imperative of producing more food while preserving our planet's resources. As we continue to unlock the potential of these microscopic allies, we are taking significant strides toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural future. It's a journey that not only benefits farmers but also ensures a more secure and sustainable food supply for generations to come.

The Infamous "Durge Is a Man" Essay
I - INTRODUCTION
There's one simple question that led us to developing this theory: "would Bhaal want a female heir?"
Bhaal created Durge to be his ideal successor: the hand who would've reaped death in the world, conquering it in His name.
Every detail we get about Durge's lore is tied to this objective, the entire purpose of Bhaal's creation.
The cult is obviously shown to us as patriarchal, which is hinted at from the sole fact they worship a male deity: the argument may come off as silly at first, since one could argue Gods do not understand nor care for the concepts of gender.
It would be a valid counterpoint, if it wasn't for the fact Bhaal used to be a human, having navigated the world as a fully grown man before he eventually became a God.
If we believe he created Durge in his ideal image, it seems much more intuitive for his offspring to be male.
II - THE MATTER OF SUCCESSION
We must note that Bhaal's plans heavily rely (as we can read in Durge's "diary" tab) on reproduction ; e.g "siring lots of Bhaalspawn".
This alone isn't coded as one sex or the other but, if we think of it in terms of convenience, a female heir wouldn't be your first choice for the task: women can only gestate one child per year and conceive in very specific windows of time within their cycle, while men can potentially impregnate countless women in the same time span and not suffer any physical disadvantages during gestation.
We should also consider women tend to develop a bond with their newborn and the latter needs to rely on them for survival during the first few months of their life, while a man:
1. has no such obligations from a social point view (especially in a medieval context, where bastard children were the norm)
2. isn't strictly needed by the child for survival, biologically speaking.
I doubt Bhaal was expecting his heir to keep track of her cycle, gestate for nine months with all the drawbacks that come with it, give birth risking death and spend the following months caring for a newborn – all of this, on repeat for years if not centuries.
"But he's a God, he could potentially speed up the process!"
Technically true, but why would he go through such trouble, if he could craft his ideal child as a male and avoid complications?
The game itself seems to agree with this theory, since you get the "Bhaal's stallion" line regardless of your Durge's gender, in one of the bad endings.
We could also consider the idea that reproduction = power, "spreeding the seed", to be a typically patriarchal concept.
Bhaal himself isn't fond of the idea of raising children, as he let Durge be raised by an adoptive family – a "regular" one no less, meaning he didn't even concern himself with choosing one.
III - IN-UNIVERSE MYSOGINY
There are many aspects of the religion that seem to glorify manhood, and for its leader to be a woman (by Bhaal's choice, no less) seems inconsistent.
Let's think of the infamous blessing granted to Bhaal's favourites, the Ecstasy of Murder, which basically consists in a pseudo prostatic orgasm.
Then we consider the presence of predominantly-male sexual crimes, both coming from Durge and other important figures within the cult.
We cannot deny necrophilia, for functional reasons, is extremely uncommon amongst women: necrophilic acts are typically carried out by penetrating a dead body, as it's almost the only pleasurable act you can perform on a corpse ; Durge being a known necrophiliac pre-lobotomy could be one of the many hints the character is meant to be read as male.
Not to mention the horrendous way in which Bhaalist female characters are treated in-universe, between Sarevok sexually abusing his daughter (and this concept being treated as completely normal by the narrative, as far as we know of) and Orin being constantly belittled.
We never hear of any male cultists undergoing the same treatment, meaning abusing women is the norm amongst Bhaal's faithful – yet again, a telltale sign of a patriarchal religion.
"But Orin isn't mistreated because of her sex, she's mistreated because she's not the true heir!"
Orin is, indeed, not Bhaal's biological daughter: she's related to Him by blood, but as Durge himself says, her blood is "diluted".
However, while he acknowledges she's not his biological sister, he still addresses her as such in multiple sources, meaning the cult leader himself doesn't care about her actual origins.
She's constantly portrayed as someone who gets talked down to, cast aside and her beliefs are harshly criticized both by Durge and others influential members such as Sarevok.
For Larian to choose a woman to fill this role could have been accidental, but we must admit the symbolism is quite clear.
Orin interprets murder as a form of art, while her Bhaalist peers frequently accuse of her misunderstanding her own faith, considering her too immature to lead the flock.
She's the only Bhaalist female character we're shown as remarkable, and she's coincidentally used as an example of someone the cult does not respect ; she's even biologically related to Bhaal and yet, she had to seize power by force.
IV - ROMANTIC SUBTEXTS
Another interesting matter are the characters commonly paired with Durge in fanworks: Durgetash and Durgestarion are the most popular romantic pairings according to ao3, and we cannot blame the fandom for catching up on the subtext.
Durge's "admiration" (as he calls it himself) towards Gortash is viewed as controversial and arises suspicion in-universe, to the point he feels the need to apologize to his Father and repent for an implicit sin.
While it would be scandalous to fraternize with Gortash even in a platonic matter – he's practically the leader of the rival cult –, the emphasis put on justifying their interactions has been interpreted by fans as romantic subtext.
The letter in which Durge addresses the issue is titled "Letter for Forgiveness", despite Gortash only being mentioned at the beginning, while the rest of the letter focuses on different topics entirely.
Right after expressing guilt for the way he views Gortash, Durge proceeds to repeat Bhaal's plan and promises to follow it, stressing that he would have made his Father proud regardless.
The letter overall comes off as an attempt to justify being attracted to Gortash and reassuring Bhaal that it wouldn't come in the way of their plans, as it would pose an enormous threat otherwise.
Durge being attracted to Gortash – if we choose to interpret him as a man – would come with a handful of important challenges: first of all, sympathizing with the 'enemy', implying Durge could abandon the idea of betraying him or even allow Gortash to do the same to him.
Second of all, being capable of such vulnerability that would come in the way of being a sentient weapon: a killing machine isn't supposed to feel pity, let alone experience something as foolish as forbidden love.
And thirdly, for Bhaal's heir to prefer the company of men is simply a disgrace, as it would come in the way of reproduction and possibly undermine his public image.
While all of this may have not been meant as a homosexual allegory, the fact you can find the Letter for Forgiveness on Durge's corpse if you play as Tav, still comes off as "bringing a secret to the grave".
Not to mention the note at the end of the letter, written by another cultist, reading: "Ha! Orin was right about her sibling." which is clearly a jab at what we mentioned above.
When you go to confront Orin in Act III (as Durge) about the fact she has been following you around town, she replies: "The little lordling has been whispering in your ears? He always knew how to tumble and twist your mind matter, leaving you knotted in his chords."
The matter of Durge's attraction to Gortash is seen as something silly and shameful at the same time: it's an open secret cult members dare to joke about, because they find it ridiculous.
If a hypothetical female heir of Bhaal had the slightest possibility of reproducing with the Chosen of Bane, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't find it as humorous – they find it hilarious because it's taboo, a powerful demigod developing a "school crush" on a male ally.
We should also talk about some of the in-game implications about Gortash, such as being someone who possibly "slept his way to the top": managing to charm and daze a much more powerful man on purpose sounds surprisingly in-character.
What we find even more interesting are the implications that come with Durgestarion, a pairing the writers are openly fond of.
We know both characters were characterized by the same writer, the latter going out of his way to include personalized romance interactions between the two: unlike other characters, romancing Astarion as Durge gives the player access to tons of new dialogue lines and greetings, sometimes making for a completely new experience compared to romancing him with a regular Tav.
Some hints may point to Durge being the "canonical" romance for Astarion, as many fans have speculated ; while one may disagree with that sentiment, we must admit it's not far fetched.
If we consider all of Astarion's canonical past relationships (meaning, the few ones he actually deems important and genuine) were with men, and the emphasis put on Durge's "admiration" towards Gortash + the incessant pressure Bhaal puts on him to reproduce, the thought of these characters romancing each other in an alternative timeline actually sounds liberating.
Some Durge-specific lines Astarion says during his romance arc seem to be aimed at a male character, rather than sounding gender neutral: the first example that comes to mind is "Are you alright now, or is today a 'I will wed you with a delicate veil of blood blooming over your white curls' kind of day?"
Astarion sarcastically references Durge "wedding him", thus putting the player in a stereotipical "groom" role from the start, with the veil resembling the one brides typically wear during the cerimony.
If we consider all other aspects mentioned in this theory, the line reads as somewhat... male-coded.
If we want to be truly insane about this theory – and of course, we do – , we could even add a "gay allegory" element to the equation.
A vampire and the spawn of an evil deity, excluded members of society who'd usually feel a compulsion to hide, are implied to fall in love by the narrative.
V - ACTING CHOICES
Finally, we come to the voice actor: while a specific actor was chosen to play the character and is regarded as the iconic Durge VA, Larian didn't concern themselves with choosing a female voice actor to include the possibility of a female Durge, which is why we can only hear his intro in Neil Roberts' voice.
VI - CONCLUSION
With all of this taken into account, a female Durge seems to be an after-thought, if not directly a fantasy or a headcanon that the game gives you the possibility to play out.
The original narrative, as we can see, best accomodates a male character.

Yesterday, we were talking about our future, our kids, and my boyfriend wants to put a baby in me as soon as he gets a stable job. But he also caught me offguard, asked me to stop T forever. He couldn't answer much onto why would he want that, but said he wants to see what would I be like. At this point, I'm unaware if he is serious or if he just paid a little too much atention on Detrans kink. He knows I would stop it as long as he was willing to knock me up, but yesterday he said he wanted me to stop it forever, even if we're done having kids. I wonder if he actually supports my body, my natural body, or he wants me to go back being a girl for him. Often He have been commenting on how feminine I'm in bed and how sometimes he sees me as a girl. He also told me he showed my pre transition photos to his boss, outting me to everyone in his work. He said he wanted to shock them, as he's very clearly gay and people wouldn't suspect he's eating and breeding female pussy everyday, trying to impregnate me and control me.
It is so hot to be his little confused girly trannyboy. Waiting for him to make me pregnant and with no choice but accepting my role as a mommy and a woman, flaunting my biologic nature: pregnancy, birth and nurture. I want him to babytrap me so I can never leave.
I have even been thinking about removing IUD and starting more flawed BC methods. I'm so forgetful, I wonder how long would it take for a desperate wannabe mommy to start to swell. Or even better, without me even knowing, my boyfriend doses me with some antibiotics, cutting its effect. Or he switches my pills for fertility treatments, convincing me not to take a test until my belly is showing. I want to have no choice but birth your seed.

Metamorphosis part 1
Aaron's father have been grumpy about his age, how his body was getting weaker and not doing as good as before.
God, that was so fucking annoying having to hear him nagging all day long of how incredible he was at his best. I had no patience to hear anymore of that shit, so I proposed a really absurd idea, he could become one of the subjects of my PhD research on pred's genetics. My family bloodline had not a single predator gene in it so I started making papers to understand how a pred could become one or pass it to their offspring. My research showed that preds genes were highly volatile, making their bodies capable of the most absurd adaptations and, because of it, in need of humongous amount of nutrients to fuel it. Because of this insane genetic adaptability I pondered to be possible to introduce it via transplant of a few cells into a standard man and, in theory, the cells to be able to entangle the genetic structure from host and donor much alike some preds absorb their prey instead of digestion. To do a test however I need a subject willing to risk everything, even this days genetic engineering was a shot in the dark. His father didn't need to be told twice to agree head on.
-
The treatment was not so much complex as one would think. All he need to do was getting a sample of preds cells and inject them in the hosts body. Aaron explained that since the risk of unforeseen shenanigans was high they would need to pick an "expendable bit" of his body, one that wouldn't involve too much structural muscle skeletal changes. The locale has been obvious, they would need to use his penis. His dad was reluctant, but agreed saying he didn't use that "shriveled piece of meat in years". The preds cells were from a young donor, a teen yet to have his first feeding. This characteristic was crucial, everything a pred would feed he would also assimilate bits of his preys dna, making his own genetic makeup more unstable in long runs, making them feed more and more to stabilize it as they get older. A small prick on his dad meat and one in each of his small nuts was enough to finish the operation. Now was the waiting game. Two weeks past it, and constant checkups indicated a good integration on both the genetic makeups. Aaron noticed the skin of his dad cock wad getting darker, he recalled the donor was a black teen, perhaps it has influenced throughout the dna intermingle of host and donor cells. The tissues of the genital area did look more tender and firm, the testicles were more round and scans confirmed their changes, they soon demanded nourishment... The rate of development was way quicker than Aaron would've predicted, and it did scare him. He soon realized the quimeric cells made from his experiment would propagate to the rest of the host body. A month later and his dad had been different already, he had way less wrinkles and would talk about how his nuts were churning seminal fluid nonstop. This last bit was expected, the treatment made his cells unstable as a pred, albeit as much as an inexperienced one after his first meals. His father would need constant new genetic mass to surplus his own degrading dna. The problem however was obvious, his dad was not a pred, he did not have their innate biological capacity of swallowing or directly absorbing his preys. That came with yet another conundrum. How in the actual fuck would he solve this problem? Getting dna for him would become a problem, if he gave another genetic makeup it would desistabilize his matrix even more and larges quantities would be required. This situation Aaron resolved fairly easy, he would donor his own dna to his father, since he was made from his seed his genetic makeups were more similar than any. The first "meal" wad quite weird. Aaron could've had done it with any bit of himself, hair, skin, blood. He decided to make his donation with his seed as well, it made sense to him since the central point of the transformation his father had came directly from his genitals, the sperm cells would be much easier recognized.
With a syringe without needle filled with his cum, he inserted in the urethra of his dad eager cock. The thing was hard as steel and Aaron could just see the slit gaping as if it was trying swallow the upper point of the syringe. Slowly he injected the stuff down the schlong, it really looked like gulping its contents, he could see the small bulge following the underside of his dad dick all to the base.
-please son, it was so fucking good, don't more...
His dad looked like a dumb gooner during a edge session, his face in ectasy and his tongue out like a fucking perv.
His administration of dna did wonders to his dad. He looked way livier and showed improved health on his exams. It did however show something unexpected. His father celular degradation slowed down considerably, but by just one exposition to new dna shouldn't have this effect. Only about weeks later would he actually discover what was happening.
By accident would Aaron have checked one of the ip cams he had on his home, the thing malfunction made him have to reinstall the necessary apps for it to work. Curiosity called him to check how weird he'd sound while snoring, that's when he witnessed something that would change everything about his experiment.
His father entered the room while Aaron was passed out snoring. Gently his old man unfurled him from his blankets. His dad would often stay still, frozen when he moved a bit, he was trying really hard to not wake him. When he saw it was safe enough he slowly put his hand inside his sons boxers and took the soft penis out. He took his time looking at the meat. Weighing it in his large hand before he would take his own schlong from his underwear. Through the cam Aaron was astonished about what was happening but the next thing was way off the scale. His dad dick was fattening, engorging as it got hard. It didn't look full hard though, as if a half mast, still flexible. Dad studied his own dick for a bit before he got closer to Aaron. He proceeded to rub his fat gland against his son soft cockhead. It was then that he bit his own hand, like trying to block any sound coming from his mouth and leaning a bit to the side that Aaron could see what he was doing. The fat cock was even more fat, thick, because it was engulfing his own, it was like a snake swallowing another! It was way beyond mere docking with their foreskin, his dick was being devoured by his dad own schlong! God, it was so absurd, and he could even see the thing making sucking, slurping motions as if trying to get more of his meat. Aaron did not know what was happening, but he could see it was affecting his dad, his face strained, eyes closed and his mouth still locked bitting his hand. Few minutes later he saw his cock, now hard, getting even harder against the other engulfing it, his balls retracted and he ejaculated. A soft moan was heard, his dad couldn't control it anymore, the seed his son spurt was injected directly into him through his urethra, his cock was slurping all the contents his balls churned that night, his own testicles were so hungry and he needed something to fill their emptiness.
His dad would not leave until every spurt was drained by his cock, until his victim deflated and dislodged from his pisslit. He would massage his balls and put a face as if tasting something delicious.
Aaron was beyond shocked, but confused as well. He was a heavy sleeper but not enough to have his meat raped and not waking up. Reviewing the records he realized his dad had been doing it for a week.

Have you ever helped detransition someone before, if not outright forced their detransition?
That depends on your definition of “forced.” I would say I have coerced girls into detransitioning, but the ones I’ve toyed with have always wanted to be stripped of their faux masculinity in the most humiliating ways. I give them plenty of opportunities to walk away. To say no and try to abandon this particular kink. But they always - Always come crawling back telling me how drippy are for transphobic porn. How they need Daddy to fuck their little girly pussy and turn them straight. They can’t help it. Craving dominate male seed and obeying their biological urge to reproduce is literally hardwired into their smaller brains. They will always be female first and fakeboys second.
My first experience with detransing was with my ftm girlfriend of several years. He was a she when we first met and started dating and when he finally worked up the courage to transition he only did so socially. I continued fucking his soft, womanly body and playing with his massive tits like nothing had changed, because aside from a few key words and a new name, there was nothing different about her. We were still having straight sex with my cock buried deep inside her slutty testosterone free pussy. She still loved to have her nipples teased and played with and it made her so wet. She was still fertile and could get pregnant at any time. She wasn’t on birth control.
After about two years of being out and still no HRT we began to play with her gender in the bedroom. She liked when I told her to take it like a girl. That I was raping her like a girl. That she would be a good girl for Daddy’s cock and let me use her pussy. In her mind, it was all pretend, playing into her fantasies of being a femboy. For me it was the perfect way to subconsciously train her to enjoy her body as it was. For her to come to terms with her birth sex and accept her womanhood. To go back to being my girlfriend. We broke up and to this day she is still going by he/him pronouns, but she has had no surgeries and while she did recently start hormone therapy she is taking the lowest dose possible. She has a very cute little mustache and gets misgendered every day by strangers, coworkers, and even supportive family members who are fully aware she is trans and has been for years.
We fuck now and then and when we do she asks me to fuck her cunt instead of her ass and get her pregnant. She calls her clitoris her babydick or even her boyclit and the last time we fucked I was testing the waters and called it her clitoris and she said nothing in her defense. Every time I pull her pants off she’s wearing panties and she will “cross dress” if I tell her too. I’ve never come out and told her about my fetish but I feel like part of her must know or at least suspect the truth, and yet she still can’t keep her legs closed around me. She’s my long term project and I hope as her biological clock starts counting down she finally cracks and gives in to what she obviously needs.
What really kicked off my hunt for fakeboys was a girl here on tumblr. I liked her blog description, she was 18, and she had reblogged so many posts begging for transphobic asks and rape threats. I sent her what I now think was a pretty mid dm describing how I’d fix her if she was my daughter and I found her blog. She responded by sending me pics of her shaved teen pussy and begging for more filth. I was hooked after that. She’s now fully addicted to misogyny and incest porn. She’s my good little zoomer slut who I can always hit up for pussy inspections or to make her drink her own piss. She fully accepts that she is a woman in mind, body, and soul, but we agree she should continue hormone treatment because it makes her even more horny and depraved.
She has gone out in a wig and breast forms and dresses in public for me and will sit in cafes with her legs spread and her big red cherry and drooling slick cunt on display for the world to see. She’s terrified of being clocked and actually hate crimed every time, but she just makes such a convincing cis girl that nobody ever notices. As soon as she gets home she gets on cam with me and rubs her clitoris while thanking me for showing her what a dumb tranny she is. I have her crouch in front of the camera and finger herself until she squirts onto her gym clothes for tomorrow. I have her chant that she is not a man. She will never be a man. She is her cunt and cunts are slaves to cock. I have her endlessly repeat that she wants to be a girl because girls are stupid and inferior and get to be dumb, brainless cumrags eating ass and getting fisted all day long while she jackhammers a dildo into her sweaty cunt.
She started out wanting to be misgendered and feminized, but I’m proud to say I broke her. If it doesn’t involve detrans and misogyny, she can’t get off any more. We’ve discussed it and if we were to move in together, with her coming to a new city in a new state where nobody knows her she would definitely detrans for real.
Right now I’m working on a girl who hasn’t come to terms with the reality of her desires. She is also a filthy sex slave but she insists on using those annoying he/they pronouns. She’s entertained the idea of becoming my good girl all the way, but is still reluctant. I get so turned on watching her try to resist her desires but knowing it’s futile in the end. if I want her to be a girl, she will be a girl. End of story.
Last night I had a great session with another ftm who started out being unsure and using he/him, but by 4 in the morning I had her telling me how she wanted my big fat cock to fuck a baby into her in front of her family. How she wants her dad to see his grandson being made. She fell completely in love with her vagina and the pleasure it can bring real men by the end of the night.
I’m waiting to sniff out the perfect gold-star tomboy faildyke to forcibly detrans. I want her to be defiant and tough and mean as hell so that when she’s a fucked out set of holes who only lives to worship men and get pregnant and give birth and has an IQ of 50 and giant plastic tits that victory will feel all the more glorious.
There are others but this post is already so long. If you’d like to make it longer, you can always dm me or send anons if you’re nervous. I love knowing there’s a shy girl behind the screen somewhere frantically rubbing her clit to these asks.

Do Time Lords deal with depression? If yes, how?
Do Time Lords deal with depression? If yes, how?
Short answer: Yes, because they have brains, and brains are complicated. But how they deal with it is a little trickier to unpack—both biologically and culturally, and we've got to ask a few basic questions first:
❓ Why Isn't It Highlighted on Gallifrey?
Gallifrey's culture emphasises intellect, tradition, and practicality, which means emotional and mental health don't really get the attention they deserve. Depression and similar conditions are likely under-recognised or even stigmatised. That said, Gallifreyans are a highly advanced species, so some potential fascinating coping methods may exist:
💡 Possible Gallifreyan Approaches to Depression
🧠 Self-Neural Rewiring: Gallifreyans can reroute their own neural pathways. This means a Time Lord feeling overwhelmed could, in theory, redirect those negative thought patterns or reconfigure the parts of their brain responsible for mood regulation. Like cognitive behavioural therapy but with a manual override.
🍌 Food: Gallifreyans are sensitive to food chemicals. They might instinctively crave foods that contain positive amino acids like tyrosine, which boost neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. Some example foods include poultry, seeds, and bananas.
🌟 Psionic Emotional Support: In theory, Gallifreyans could 'latch onto' the emotions of others, borrowing a bit of happiness or comfort through telepathic connections. This could explain why some Time Lords surround themselves with humans.
🚀 Support from Their TARDIS: A symbiotically-linked TARDIS provides emotional stability. As sentient beings, TARDISes intuitively understand their pilot's mental state. They might offer subtle psionic nudges or provide a calming atmosphere through environmental adjustments.
💊 Specialised Medications (or Not): Gallifreyans might have their own medications for mood disorders, though it's more likely they rely on their natural neural and psionic capabilities instead. Human antidepressants would probably be ineffective—or potentially dangerous—due to Gallifreyan biology. (For a detailed breakdown, see our earlier post: Can Gallifreyans Take Human Antidepressants? in the related section below).
🔍 What's the Real Answer?
As much as we love theorising, the truth is that depression probably isn't openly discussed on Gallifrey. It's a society that prioritises logic over emotions, which may leave those struggling to cope feeling isolated. That said, Gallifreyans are incredibly resilient beings.
🏫 So ...
While Gallifrey may not have an obviously established cultural framework for mental health care, Gallifreyans still potentially have unique ways to manage their emotional well-being. They might find solace in their TARDIS for long periods, by surrounding themselves with bright-eyed, adventurous companions, or maybe by consuming bananas … Hold on a moment—why does this sound oddly familiar? 🤔

I really don’t know Jack still? do you?
Maybe @spatheandspadix might shed some light on this one.
perhaps y’all have noticed extreme variations in populations of this classic spring plant.
Here is this one:
Narrow spathed, cupped, vibrant color, acuminate and small. Potentially A. acuminatum???
Ahh yes, a classic to run into while out and about in the forest in May, I still don’t know what subspecies this is and its been in my drafts since like 2016, odd enough I didn’t think this complex would be unresolved this long considering the fact that cernua complex, rudbeckia fulgida complex, and eastern Viola complex(shout outs to Iris Copen and Dr. Harvey Ballard the homies from OU and ODNR/ONAPA) have all had papers since then and so far 3 subspecies have been noted and gone through chromosome analysis and ITS analysis. Non of which are the jack you see above.
Jack in the Pulpit is an incredibly variable and diverse complex/sect. that we see often enough. Morphological variants and subspecies are very noticeable when they occur due to multiple characteristics such as soil specific populations and floral ridges, dwarf like traits, or tapering like you see above.
Flora of the south eastern USA states this:
“ A genus of about 150-170 species, of Asia, e. North America, e. Africa, and Arabia. Infrageneric taxonomy follows Ohi-Toma et al. (2016). The taxa of the Arisaema triphyllum complex have been variously treated as species, subspecies, varieties, and forms. They are here treated as species with relatively subtle morphological distinctions; they are broadly sympatric, and sometimes occur together in mixed populations with little sign of introgression or hybridization and seem to behave as biological species. Arisaema quinatum (mixed leaved jack) has often been treated as a full species and seems to warrant that status. Arisaema stewardsonii (big ridged hooded bog jack) seems amply distinct in morphology, northern distribution, and boggy habitat. Arisaema triphyllum (common jack) is tetraploid and does not produce fertile seed when crossed with the other (diploid) taxa, including A. pusillum (dwarf alkaline Jack), with which it is broadly sympatric (Treiber 1980). The size (though diploid), strongly attenuated spathe apex, and geographic integrity seem good reason to accord A. acuminatum (narrow pointed long spathe jack) species status as well. Species concepts in this treatment largely follow the review by Wyatt & Stoneburner (2022).”
All of this said we still have outliers like this one.
Opening like rich mesic hillside, overall alkaline. Caldwell NP, Cincinnati Parks, Cincinnati Ohio.

This is what white supremacy looks like in 2022
The signs in the image above hung over the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, a typically liberal and progressive city. It sent shockwaves through the country as yet another reminder that white supremacy is alive and well in pockets of the country. But it’s also a reminder to me that “white supremacy,” as an ideology, has a much longer and more complex history than the blatantly racist pageantry of hate groups would suggest.
What is white supremacy?
White supremacy is a term that tends to offend people’s sensibilities much more immediately than the word racism. That’s because white supremacy today presents itself to the American consciousness in offensive, alienating forms. The KKK, hate crimes, neo-Nazis, and now the Goyim Defense League in the photo above—these are the proud examples of white supremacy in the 20th and 21st centuries. Most people condemn them unequivocally, and they have become a sort of sinister “other,” against which non-racist people may define themselves.
The truth is, white supremacy has a much longer, much uglier history than contemporary white supremacists would suggest. As a pseudoscientific theory of race, a justification for worldwide colonialism and imperialism, and eventually an explicit call to mass genocide, white supremacy has been responsible for some of the most heinous crimes against humanity in modern history.
As a result, it leaves behind an ugly legacy that stretches across much of our society, including law, politics, economic policy, education, arts and culture, and even language. White supremacists may have diminished in number, but the historical effects of white supremacy have a much longer tail.
The origins of white supremacy
At its theoretical core, white supremacy refers to the belief that white people naturally constitute a superior race, and therefore deserve a privileged, dominant position in society. This dominance is always to the detriment of other races—historically, people of color and Jewish people, in particular. It is also typically justified by historical or pseudoscientific arguments about white people’s biological, intellectual, and even spiritual superiority, all of which we now understand to be rooted in blatantly racist stereotypes.
For centuries, pseudoscientific racism made all sorts of claims about Black bodies: that our blood was thicker, feet flatter, skulls smaller, muscles bigger, senses keener. And from the earliest days of the slave trade, these arguments were crucial to justifying the barbaric treatment of the enslaved. Black Africans had to be dehumanized in order to justify their enslavement and torture. The physical “animalization” of Black bodies in Western culture was predicated on a belief that white bodies and brains were the standard measurefor humanity.
This racial hierarchy—before “race” was even a clear social or “biological” concept—was the seed of modern white supremacy. As Europeans and Americans became more advanced scientifically, another facet of white supremacist theory became entrenched in their psyche: intellectual superiority.
Ideas around the superiority of white people were prominently accepted in Western culture for at least 200 years, from their crystallization in the Enlightenment up to the advent of desegregation and decolonization in the 1950s. They had a massive impact on the structure of modern Western society and globalization for the entirety of that period.
The cultural ubiquity of white supremacy
White supremacy has been ideologically, visually, linguistically, and legally baked into Western society—including the many colonial regimes around the world propped up by European and American powers—for hundreds of years. But in the bygone eras of explicit, ubiquitous white supremacy, nobody referred to it as such. The constellation of beliefs and theories about white racial superiority were simply part and parcel of globalizing, imperialist Euro-American societies. Even once “white supremacy” became the go-to designation for hate groups and egregiously explicit declarations of “white superiority” (e.g. the KKK, neo-Nazis), the phrase adapted to survive. It has since morphed into new slogans and movements over time, from “White Power” in the 1950s to, less overtly, Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign.
Through it all, white supremacist ideas have been defended as natural, scientific, and moral. Even people who have not associated themselves with hate groups or white supremacist violence have often supported white supremacist ideas. One example is the advent of intelligence testing in the 20th century (e.g. IQ tests), which was used to assess intelligence across large samples of national populations. In their early history, these tests were used to justify the idea that white people from the global North were intellectually superior to people of color. Even though IQ tests have been debunked as an incomplete method of assessing intelligence, Dylann Roof tried to justify his shooting at a Black church in Charleston, South Carolina, by claiming that Black people have lower IQs.
Society changes, but ideas take a long time to die.
White supremacy today
The history of white supremacy runs long and deep. And even though the ideas behind it are no longer socially acceptable, it still guides racially biased thinking in almost every field of human experience. The strength of its influence on earlier periods in history is reflected in the ubiquity of its legacy today.
It’s worth sharing some of these examples to appreciate the slow-burn effect that white supremacy continues to exert.
Cultural white supremacy
A few weeks ago, I wrote about the cultural white supremacy implicit in the backlash against a Black actress playing the live-action Little Mermaid in 2023: Halle Bailey. To me this is a subtle example of white supremacist gatekeeping when it comes to arts and culture. Even fictional characters have to adhere to our very real sense of racial hierarchy. But in this domain, you could also think about our Eurocentric approach to history, literature, and art in schools and museums, which inevitably privilege Western art. Even tokenism—the practice of symbolically adding characters of color into works of art as a superficial nod to racial equality—could be viewed as an aftereffect of white supremacy.
I’ve also written about cultural appropriation in the past—to me, the practice of borrowing or stealing from other cultures’ artistic output for profit is a perfect example of white supremacist imperialism still in action. Western (and particularly American) culture remains globally dominant: to assimilate other cultures into its systems of power without due credit or profit-sharing is a practice steeped in white supremacist ideology.
The economics of white supremacy
As an ideology that privileges whiteness and white people’s well-being, white supremacy has also had economic effects on our society. The old practice of “redlining” is a classic example: Mortgage lenders used to (literally) outline African American neighborhoods in red and mark them as higher risk. These neighborhoods did not receive comparable benefits from the various housing and mortgage programs of the New Deal in the 1930s. As a result, Black neighborhoods stayed Black, relatively poor, and unable to access good credit. Discriminatory lending of this kind was one of the major issues addressed by Civil Rights legislation in the 1960s, and it originates in a white supremacist logic of economic exclusion.
I myself have experienced this as a Black founder; just this past quarter, Black founders received a paltry $187 million in funding (0.43% of the $43 billion deployed in Q3 2022). There are many reasons behind this kind of inequity, but most of them are rooted in disparities of access to capital, education, wealth, and entrepreneurship—most of which trace their roots back to white supremacist ideas as well. Perhaps the most significant of these is the continued wealth and income inequality between Black and white people, which has barely changed since the 1950s, when white supremacy supposedly came to an end.
White supremacy in politics and law
From a legal perspective, white supremacy was coded into Jim Crow laws almost as soon as the Civil War ended. These laws created a different America for Black people, in which it was far easier to be criminalized and much harder to gain wealth or access education. Segregation ended formally with the legal victories of the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s, but it continues in schools and housing up to the present day in more covert forms. The idea that Black and white people cannot share space is obviously a direct corollary of the white supremacist belief that white people are superior.
Politically, white supremacy has shown up more, and more overtly, since the growth of the Tea Party and its conversion into Trump’s presidential base of support. “Make America Great Again” is only the most memorable example. Trump calling COVID-19 the “Chinese” virus was equally white supremacist—not just because it’s a racist taunt, but because it designates Covid-19 as the creation of a foreign, hostile power rather than a globally shared public health crisis. The implication, of course, is that America—white America—was blameless in its response to COVID-19; all culpability lies with the unknown, but probably malicious, Chinese “Other.”
As you can see, white supremacy influences our society in all sorts of ways. It is deeply connected to the forms of racism that survive today. The KKK is no longer allowed to march freely in Washington, D.C., (as they did in the 1920s), but the ideas that underpin their ideology have long worked their toxicity into our economic, intellectual, and social systems.
It would probably take a lot for me to call someone a “white supremacist” outright, but it’s important we understand the origins of this ideology and the profundity of its impact on Western society. Visual and linguistic symbols of white supremacy still survive—think Confederate/Dixie flags, swastikas, the N-word, racist humor, disdain for African American vernacular, or even personal professions of “colorblindness.” These are all remnants of the historical privileging of whiteness, which literally reigned supreme in Europe and America for over 200 years.
Today, we have to recognize the many forms white supremacy and its legacy can take. We have a responsibility to call it out when we see it. We have to remain sensitive to its often subliminal effect on our own behavior and biases—whether that’s stepping up at work to defend equitable hiring practices, or calling out a friend who makes a racist joke, or ensuring racist candidates don’t make it into office.
White supremacy is the unfortunate bequest our ancestors left us—it’s up to all of us to tear it apart.

Chemical Free Farming Tips
Chemical-free farming, also known as organic farming, focuses on cultivating crops and raising livestock without the use of synthetic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Here are some tips for chemical-free farming:
Crop rotation: Implement a crop rotation system where different crops are grown in a sequence over multiple seasons. This helps prevent the buildup of pests and diseases specific to certain crops, reducing the need for chemical interventions.
Composting: Create and utilize compost from organic waste, such as vegetable scraps, plant trimmings, and manure. Compost enriches the soil with nutrients, improves soil structure, and enhances its ability to retain moisture, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
Natural fertilizers: Use natural fertilizers like compost, manure, and organic amendments (e.g., bone meal, blood meal) to provide essential nutrients to the soil and promote healthy plant growth.

— Maple Garden Farm (@MapleGardenFarm) May 19, 2023
Mulching: Apply organic mulch, such as straw, leaves, or grass clippings, around the base of plants. Mulching helps suppress weeds, retain soil moisture, and improve soil quality, reducing the need for herbicides and frequent watering.
Biological pest control: Encourage natural predators and beneficial insects that control pests. Planting diverse crops and creating habitats for beneficial insects like ladybugs, lacewings, and predatory wasps can help keep pest populations in check.
Integrated pest management (IPM): Implement IPM strategies, which involve monitoring pest populations, using physical barriers, employing trap crops, and employing cultural practices to minimize pest damage. Only resort to approved organic pesticides or insecticidal soaps when absolutely necessary.
Water management: Optimize irrigation practices by using techniques such as drip irrigation or soaker hoses, which deliver water directly to plant roots. This minimizes water waste and reduces the likelihood of fungal diseases caused by excessive moisture.
Weed control: Utilize manual methods like hand-weeding, hoeing, or mulching to control weeds instead of chemical herbicides. Regularly remove weeds before they mature and spread their seeds.
Disease-resistant varieties: Select and grow plant varieties that are naturally resistant to common diseases and pests in your area. Disease-resistant plants are less likely to require chemical treatments.
Soil conservation: Practice soil conservation techniques, including maintaining adequate ground cover, preventing erosion, and avoiding over-tilling. Healthy soil with good structure and organic matter content is less susceptible to pests and diseases.
Remember that transitioning to chemical-free farming may take time and experimentation. Local organic farming associations, agricultural extension services, and experienced organic farmers can provide valuable guidance and resources specific to your region.

Cannabis and The NHS
Where are the prescriptions of cannabis seeds our nations are so in need of? Is government approval such a daunting next step? 53 years is a long enough wait for an amendment to an act of parliament.
Growing and cultivating plants is a natural remedy in itself. To specify the inclusion of the cannabis plant into the processes of medicinal cultivation would have a profound effect upon the mental well being of those presently suffering its lack of presence. To grow your own medicinal requirement in the privacy of your own home, from seed to plant, can help to redress the synthetic medicinal system we presently live with.
Global pharmaceutical corporations presently administer an unnecessarily large amount of synthetic products into biological networks to ensure the totalitarian control they have over both the public and private living of populations is secure. The maintenance and growth of their own economic advantage is reliant upon this administered control.
Integrating cannabis cultivation into personal horticulture could offer a transformative, empowering approach to health and well-being. Growing your own medicine taps into self-sufficiency, connects you deeply with the healing process, and offers a sense of personal control that is very much missing in conventional treatments.
It's about time the conversation moved beyond the stigma and into practical, compassionate solutions.
Encouraging the personal cultivation of medicinal plants could challenge the dominance of big pharma and pave the way for a more balanced, holistic healthcare approach.
We live to cultivate ways of reducing the suffering of living beings. A progressive amendment to a 1971 act of parliament is a step towards helping us achieve this goal. Present and future generations deserve the support.
a lotus of peace to you all 🙏
