I hate to do this again, but I'm out of options. I have to pay my $350 power bill by 5pm CST tomorrow (December 7th, 2023) or I'll be disconnected, and my account is currently over $500 in the red from December's rent. I still haven't been able to find a new job and things are getting really desperate

If I can get $350 within the next 24 hours, I can pay the bill directly through paypal and at least keep my lights on while keeping my bank account overdrawn for now. Emergency Roof Repair and Storm Cleanup Commissions

As mentioned in previous posts and pinned @anotherdayforchaosfay , we have just been through a natural disaster. Please read the pinned post on that blog. Updates will be added once we get outside and photograph the damage for our insurance claim.

I have opened commissions three months earlier than planned because we need to raise money to cover our insurance deductible as well as hiring someone to remove the tree from our roof and yard. The tree is owned by a lazy landlordlord who owns the property next door. We have told him repeatedly it needs to be trimmed or there will be damage. His property got a quick install sunroof.

I have four slots available across the board and prices start at $150 USD.

I have made the option of commissioning me for a quilt available. Three finished quilt tops are listed as commissions because they're ready for handquilting. Several people have inquired about one of the tops, so now's your chance to have it done sooner than later.

If you can do only a partial payment right now, DM me. I'll write up a contract for payments, and will require 50% upfront and weekly/monthly installs after that. You will then receive an invoice.

Commissions will begin immediately because we now have power.

I will close commissions when all slots are filled or June 1st, 2024. Whichever happens first (hopefully the former). If slots are filled, I will reopen them again after I finish all the commissions. I work fast and may complete six quilts netween now and then.

Donations are accepted,and there are four listings available in my shop with the option to pay more than my asking price (if you add an extra zero, I may very well cry).

Shower here had been busted a while. Thread broke off into the elbow of the pipe where the shower head attached. So, couldn't run water through the shower head without it leaking into the wall...my roommate made do in the meantime, as I assume he just held the break in the pipe closed firmly any time he used the shower since it cracked open. Meanwhile I was showering over at my bestie's. She is very gracious, and treasured for her hospitality.

Very pleased to say that I had some assistance with fixing the shower today while the roommate/landlord was at work. Yea, turns out the original piece that threaded into the pipe, holding the shower head and hose there...it was fucking plastic. So, of course, that would break eventually (also, I think my roommate might have showered angry at times for that pipe to be loose and break like that, he does stuff angrily if he loses his temper). Got a metal piece to replace it. Teflon tape on both ends of it. No leaks! Mint! Had to cut out some dry wall outside the bathroom just to hold the pipe still as we worked on it. But, that'll be an easy fix, and we'll need to keep an eye on the pipe for the next few days anyway, just in case.

Gonna celebratory RuneScape and smoke about it. Sounds lackluster. But, I feel really good about this, and that was a huge weight off me. So, it's time to relax! :)
