Mackinac Island, Michigan - Arch Rock... everyone takes this photo, figured I had to get one too. Was on a bike tour in Michigan and visited the island, not great for bike riding due to all of the horse “droppings” all over the roads, but a beautiful place nonetheless.

BURGOS-TERUEL #CINCUENTEEN | Etapa 5. Daroca - Ojos Negros | 2024/05/02

Un poco más allá de Daroca, entras en la provincia de Teruel. Por consiguiente ¡vuelve la vía verde! No obstante, el trazado de esta ruta cruza la parte menos atractiva de la provincia (en mi opinión). Una suerte de paisaje "no lugar" en las inmediaciones de una autovía, el trazado del tren, poblaciones de servicio… Por otro lado, cruzar este contexto rurbano, te da por pensar que estás en una aventura de futuro distópico post-apocalíptico.

A partir de Monreal, la ruta abandona su sentido noroeste-sureste, para tomar dirección oeste, hacia Ojos Negros. 15 kms de estepa sin refugio. En esta ocasión disfrutamos de un fuerte viento de cara. (hummmmm, delicia -mode irónico on-).

Entre el pueblo de Ojos Negros y el barrio de Centro Minero de Sierra Menera, encontramos un rincón ideal para pernoctar (si lo haces, recuerda dejarlo mejor de cómo lo encontraste ;D ).
