How in the world did I get here? 🇵🇹🏍️🦜
Motorcycles brought these 4 unlikely characters together. Otherwise, our worlds would’ve never collided. Life is so strange. Once you’re an adult, you have free reign of your decisions and can choose between a myriad of paths: a job, a hobby, a different street to walk down other than your typical one and BAM💥 your life intersects another being’s.
Does anyone else ever think about this stuff?
Like I know it’s my life and my decisions and I’m conscious everyday, but sometimes I wake up after a while and I’m like Whoa, how did I get here?

Join us on an unforgettable motorbike tour as we journey through the mystical landscapes of Lower Mustang to reach the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath. Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure through remote villages, majestic mountains, and sacred temples on this epic ride of a lifetime.
Tumblr media
Day 1: Pokhara to Jomsom Our journey begins in the lakeside city of Pokhara, where we gear up and hit the road towards Jomsom, the gateway to Lower Mustang. As we ride through the scenic countryside, we're treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Upon reaching Jomsom, we're greeted by the windswept landscapes and charming Tibetan-influenced villages that characterize this rugged region.
Day 2: Jomsom to Kagbeni Leaving Jomsom behind, we continue our journey towards Kagbeni, a picturesque village nestled at the entrance of the Kali Gandaki Gorge. As we ride along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River, we're surrounded by towering cliffs, barren landscapes, and traditional mud-brick houses that evoke a sense of timeless beauty. Upon arriving in Kagbeni, we explore the ancient streets, visit the centuries-old monastery, and soak in the serene ambiance of this remote Himalayan village.
Day 3: Kagbeni to Muktinath Today, we embark on the final leg of our journey as we ride to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath. The road winds its way up through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As we approach Muktinath, we're greeted by the sight of the ancient temple complex, where devotees come to pay homage to Lord Vishnu and bathe in the sacred waters of the 108 stone spouts. After exploring the temples and soaking in the spiritual atmosphere, we spend the night in Muktinath, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Himalayas.
Day 4: Muktinath to Pokhara Our journey back to Pokhara takes us through the picturesque villages of Lower Mustang, where we have the opportunity to interact with locals, learn about their culture, and sample traditional cuisine. Riding through the windswept landscapes and rugged terrain, we reflect on the incredible experiences and memories we've created during our motorbike tour of Lower Mustang. As we arrive back in Pokhara, we're filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the opportunity to explore this enchanting region on two wheels.
Conclusion: As our motorbike tour of Lower Mustang and Muktinath comes to an end, we're left with a deep appreciation for the natural beauty, cultural richness, and spiritual significance of this mystical region. From the windswept landscapes of Jomsom to the sacred temples of Muktinath, every moment of our journey has been filled with wonder and awe. As we bid farewell to this magical corner of the Himalayas, we carry with us memories that will last a lifetime and a longing to return again soon. Until next time, keep riding, keep exploring, and keep embracing the spirit of adventure!

Best Time for the Golden Triangle Motorcycle Trip
Tumblr media
A Motorbike Tour in India is weather dependent, and the Golden Triangle Motorcycle Tour is no exception. Riders who choose the wrong season will face extreme conditions, turning a fun ride into a gruelling one. The best time for this trip is from October to March, when the air is cool, days are pleasant and nights are comfortable. Roads remain dry, ensuring better grip on tyres and no risk of village roads getting washed away by monsoon rains.
The winter months from December to February are also preferred by many riders. However, early mornings in Delhi, and Agra can be foggy, reducing visibility, especially on highways. Extra caution is needed while riding in these conditions. Summer, from April to June, is tough, with temperatures soaring above 45°C. Long hours under the sun can cause dehydration, so riders must start early in the morning, and take frequent water breaks.
Monsoon months from July to September bring unpredictable weather. While highways remain smooth, village roads become muddy. Some riders enjoy the challenge of riding in light rain, but sudden downpours can make visibility low. If you prefer cooler weather and quieter roads, late September, just after the rains, is a good time for the ride.

Activate: Crystal Rest Mode 😺💤
Honestly it’s too hot for me to move. I’m feeling super sluggish and that’s okay. I have time left in my Schengen. Silly me, I thought once I got out of Morocco, I’d blast to the Middle East. But instead, I’ve gone further West and am seeing old friends. It’s quite precious actually.
The first time I ride through a country, I make friends. The second time I go back, I reunite with them. I’m in rest mode now, but I know I’ll get back on the road in a bit 🏍️ Portugal isn’t a bad place to rest 😺🇵🇹
