for someone who always wants to be on the move and embraces change, i’m surprisingly :( about finishing my last shift today for a job that was temporary from the start.
i know some of you might be tired of hellofr*sh because of their advertising, but honestly, they were such a good employer. and i really loved the job. <3 i never felt rushed or pressured (except once, but when i said i was too stressed they let me go home early). i loved how it let me explore towns and places i’d never have seen otherwise.
i think i’m also getting emotional because it's another stage of wrapping up my dutch chapter (for now), and it’s making me super sentimental! :/ yay!

i know there would probably be a lot of obstacles that make this extremely difficult, but i'm kind of hoping for non binary character options or at least pronouns in the stardew valley update. i know there's probably mods for it, and it would be difficult to implement officially with things like multiple languages, gender specific quests, etc. but it'd still be nice.
stardew valley was seen as so ahead of the curve in farming sims at the time that the common phrase these days is to call a game "like stardew" instead of "like harvest moon" or "like story of seasons" and now that more "mainstream" non-indie games are giving us pronoun and nb options, it just feels like stardew is falling behind.
#its probably true that stardew paved the way for these other games to be more inclusive in the first place#but like we got square enix with harvestella and the SoS games just to mention farming games#with a big update on the way this would be the best time to get it added?

the past two days, i've just been watching mukbangs
#brain off frfr#staring at a pretty girl eating a shit ton of food#there was this one girl i watched for a bit bc she had a cute dog but i couldn't handle her mic quality ;-;#i haven't even edited any chapters#i think i'll have to stick to one update a week =v=...#smh#i was hoping to get to two a week#i guess i could do a stable one a week and two ever other week#i can't even figure out the next arc#i vaguely know the ending at least but the two arcs between the middle and the end are making me wanna gouge my eyes out#a part of me is like well i can always go back to edit/rewrite it right#which is true#but the problem is my motivation...#i think if i just sat down and stared at the word doc for long enough i could do it#it just sucks bc after the previous arc things change so much...and i wanted to do a big time skip#i still want to do a big time skip#but at the same time i'm like#could i do a smaller time skip??#it adds to the slow burn...which i do like...#but then i'd have to break the major arc i had into a smaller piece?#which honestly might be better bc the first drafts of those arcs that i deleted felt way too rushed and i hated it

#sammy says shit#v gets hurts regularily its not a big deal for her#ofc rogue tells her to be more careful every time#puts on a front about how a job needs to be done cleanly (which is TRUE)#and how v cant take on more work when she's injured (also true but not as much)#and v gets all grinny and happy and goes 'aw you love me'#which rogue brushes off as her being an idiot (once again true but not really)#it all comes to light clearly when v really really gets hurt during one job#she had just lost some of her cyberware and in a matter of hubris wildly underestimated the risks#she usually picks up rogues check in calls during gigs and even if she doesnt she does shoot a quick message with an update#but one day none of this happens and she returns to the afterlife completely battered#with a job done but clearly in need of medical attention#she doesnt remember half of this because when things go real bad she enters some kind of trance#which usually gets her out of a lot of shit but its certainly not a good sign#rogue goes BASLLISTIC - not at v - but herself for putting a loyal and treasured friend in a bad position#and ofc the asshole(s) who did this to her#let me tell you fellas - i am LIVING

Its a-ok to be annoyed when your favorite character's tag is half ship especially when it's the obnoxious "romance is the only way to interpret this and if you dont youre wrong" shippers. like. Shut up. Anything can mean anything and intentions are everything and you can't know intentions if you don't even understand the character outside of the ship and the "tropes" they fill which I know you don't because HALF THE TAG IS SHIP

This blue gumball bitch has been living in my head rent free since 2020
Once again marvelling at the absolute infectious power of Sonic the Hedgehog, as a character and a series. So many of us got the bug from just... watching one playthrouh, seeing him in a crossover game, or parody and spoof dubbing. It doesn't matter.
Because once he gets you, he gets you. Here for life. A brain main stay. Commandeers your obsessive tendencies. Many such cases.
#I only knew him from the sonic unleashed trailer that would play in my tv and that kinda stood out to me#But I didn't really pay attention to Sonic#Only heard about him#Until my bestie invited me to watch the Sonic movie because she was a big sonic fan#Immediately got so fixated on this blue hedgehog and started watching gamesplays of each sonic game#Updated myself on the sonic lore#And it is true that once you connected with this franchise it never lets you go#I've been a Sonic fan for 4 years and I wish I could have been a Sonic fan when Sonic unleashed came out because I had a Wii :(#if only I could hear endless possibilities for the first time again
