Mild rant from me about Hans Zimmer's involvement in Dragon Age:

I just think it's such sellout behavior to hire expensive movie composers (Zimmer is also known to be a transphobic asshole lol) known for their blockbuster soundtracks for your game when you already had the most iconic soundtrack ever for the previous installment, except the composer was lesser known.

Most people hear the swell of violins and immediately think it must be the best soundtrack ever, but if I am really honest, the DATV soundtrack so far sounds like the most generic slopfest with the laziest leitmotif I had the misfortune to hear in a long while.

Hiring people for their name alone is something I find incredibly shameful. Like I cannot even put into words how nasty it is in my eyes, because it actively takes away from lesser known creatives in the industry who could have made a name for themselves. And it doesn't matter to me if Zimmer only did the Main Theme or whatever, because in that case, it shouldn't be his name that is plastered everywhere but Balfe's! But everyone is talking about Zimmer anyway for exactly the reasons I already mentioned.

Even just the thought of how expensive this endeavor must have been... That money could have gone to other, more important places, easily. It makes the layoffs also that much more bitter in my eyes. Idk. I adore Dragon Age and I am still a huge fan and I will play it, but stuff like that make me angry. I don't need some Zimmer who has been sitting his ass on his laurels from 10 years ago in my franchise. I'd rather have a no name person, or Trevor Morris, to get a chance again.

Sun had a nasty fall a few years ago in his circus era while practicing a routine. Took months to heal. It doesn't bother him most days now, but yes, it can be sensitive to the cold and rain and he does wear a brace sometimes. He also can't do as much running or jumping and there have even been times when he's pushed himself too hard working the arcade and started limping.

Moon's usually the one to force him down with an ice pack and a pillow under his foot to elevate the leg. Sun grumbles a bit but largely obliges. He knows they can't afford for him to be out of action for too long because he overexerted himself.

And ye, it would most certainly throw a wrench in their machinations if Sun's knee were to give out in the middle of one of their... acts. At the very least it would be embarrassing 😵‍💫! But it's not like anybody's living through the night anyway to tell the tale of the masked sun clown who stumbled over mid-evil monologue cause his knee was stiff.

You remembered very correctly! I remarked on a post a while back that I pictured Sun taking Chica's classes at the local gym! Something low-impact. Probably popular with older people. In fact I had a very similar image in my head during that ask to the one you described of Sun above. Finally got a chance to draw it.

His heart is indeed full of dance 🤩, though old hens do be gossiping in Chica's studio. Sun's little old lady classmates sure love to chat about other people's business. Often informative and always entertaining.

I've been thinking a lot about Albrechts notes and what happened to him after he got out of the void... the way he describes just sorta floating there waiting to die, too scared to act. And Loid taking care of him once he decides to get his act together. It makes me so emotional & conjured up a lot of images in my mind.

thinking about wayne and eddie going on an annual fishing trip (like thee Munson Men Annual Fishing Trip™️) just like a little weekend away. and the first one is coming up after eddie and steve starts dating. over breakfast eddie jokingly complains about having to go and tries to get out of it. but wayne is used to his dramatics so he just gives hmms when appropriate because eddie’s whole spiel never got him out of it before and he tells eddie that.

steve watches the whole exchange with amusement when wayne asks if he’s looking forward to it. and he’s like ??? because he assumed it was just a wayne and eddie thing. and wayne is like i just told eddie all munsons must go can’t get out of it kid.

steve gets flustered and is internally is like oh??? all munsons,,,

or like after the trip a neighbor asks wayne if they caught anything and he pulls out his wallet to show a picture they took on the trip. wayne passes it with ‘here’s a picture of my boys’ and to steve’s surprise it’s a picture of both him and eddie with their biggest catch.

and just idk wayne casually accepting steve into their family and throwing steve off guard with it.
