Exotic Pets I think PJO Characters would own

Percy owns a Blue Mosaic Axolotl and he named it Mandy. This is because he originally thought she was a salamander. When he took it home and showed it to Annabeth, she corrected him but the name already stuck.

Annabeth has a Canary Barn Owl named Cato. She does not own this owl per se. Cato was flying near their apartment when Annabeth decided to leave some food out for him. Since then, Cato has been keeping an eye on her and following her around from the apartment to her college campus to the grocery store.

Grover has a Kinkajou he named Jumper. Again, he does not particularly own him. Jumper just happened to jump onto his shoulder while he was taking a hike through the woods one night. Jumper was hungry so Grover gave him some food. Every now and then, Grover would go back and feed him.

Nico (besides Cerby) owns two melanistic foxes named Aspen and Amber. No one knows the true origin of these foxes, all the campers know is that they just showed up out of no where and follow Nico around. Despite what they think, Aspen and Amber are actually very friendly and they only get defensive if you intend to harm Nico (besides Percy. They hate Percy for some reason).

Jason has a Racoon Dog named Jojo. Jason found Jojo while he was out for a walk. It was raining and it looked like Jojo was injured. Thankfully, they weren't that far from camp so he took him back and gave him a warm bath and treated him. Once Jojo was fully healed, Jason tried to release him back out there but he wouldn't leave

Piper has Anna's Hummingbirds. She built a bird house one time with Leo and hung it outside of the cabin. Next thing she knows, hummingbirds are inhabiting it. Two paticular hummingbirds she sees are two Anna's hummingbirds she named Luna and Aurelia.

Reyna (besides her two dogs) has a Serval Cat she named Aenea. Reyna does not own her but she goes to feed her every now and then and lets her take shelter during storms or when she wants

Bianca has an Unkindness of Ravens. Not one, not two, an Unkindness. EDIT: She was on a quest with the hunters one time and the ravens warned her about where they were going, where they should go, etc. The ravens got attached to her, being the daughter of the dead. And she eventually got used to it, but some of the hunters still get jumpscares when they wake up and see Bianca being surrounded by dozens of ravens. Two Ravens in particular, she named Argus and Sergio. These two are in charge of looking after Nico. Yes, she can speak to them; Yes, they are also messenger birds.

Thalia has a Sugar Glider named Jason. She found him on the shelf in her cabin looking for food. She was about to help him down when he flew to the drawer beside her bed. She took him to Annabeth to figure out what he is. She gave him some food after that and thought that he reminded him of Jason.

Hazel has a Chinchilla named Amy. Amy (short for Amethyst) looks like she's purple but really, she's a mix of grey and blue, which is why she looks purple. Amy was actually a gift from Frank.

Will, scarily enough, has an Edit 2: Sunbeam Snake he named Bowie. Again, no one knows where he came from, they just walked into the Apollo Cabin and freak out when they see the snake slithering around the cabin and they just go, "Oh, don't worry, that's just Bowie". Bowie only likes being held by the Apollo kids and Nico.

Leo has a Tarantula named Felix (Fix for short). Oddly enough, Leo was never scared of spiders, if anything, he loves them. The Athena Cabin always asks for his help to get rid of spiders. He found Fix crawling on his work table, almost getting killed when he interfered. He scooped him up and sent him back into the woods. The next day, he found him again on his table. He kept putting him back till he gave up and made a little space for him

Cinccino: The Sleeper A-Tier Nuzlocke Encounter

Y’all are sleeping on the Minccino line. Cinccino is actually really, really good in Nuzlockes and is even a guaranteed encounter in B2W2, with a somewhat reliable routing strat in BW. Let’s talk about it.

We’ll quickly go over the encounters. In BW, you can catch Minccino in a few locations, but we care about route 5 and route 16. That’s the routes on either side of Nimbasa City. The encounters—Pokémon, levels, distribution—are exactly the same between the two of them. So you have essentially two shots to get one there, especially if you caught a Purrloin earlier in your run.

In B2W2, the first Hidden Grotto the player encounters (Bianca shows it to you on route 5) is certain to hold a Minccino with its hidden ability. If you define valid encounters as having a different location name in the Pokémon's summary, Hidden Grottos are unique in that any mon caught in one will show "A hidden grotto" as the summary location. Not the route where it is found. You can choose to gamble on another route's grotto, which may be worth it to you, or you can 100% get a Minccino.

Now, why is Cinccino so good? For one, it has a great ability and a phenomenal hidden ability. What makes them so good for Cinccino specifically is its learnset. It can learn Tail Slap, Rock Blast, and Bullet Seed—all multi-strike moves with less than 60 base power. The abilities?

Its normal ability is Technician. That will give a 1.5x boost to any damaging move with a base power of 60 or less. Basically, you can turn a 60 BP move into a 90 BP. That’s really, really good. Like I said, Tail Slap is a multi-strike move with 25 BP and 85% accuracy. With Technician and Normal STAB, each hit has 56 BP. Hitting 2-5 times, you have the potential for 112-280 BP. Holy shit.

If you use the Hidden Grotto, you have access to Cinccino’s hidden ability: Skill Link. It ensures that multi-strike moves hit their maximum number of strikes. Hm. Tail Slap, 25 BP, 1.5x STAB, 5 strikes, and hell, why not slap on a Silk Scarf for an extra 1.2x buff? If you roll the 85% accuracy check and land the first strike, get ready to unleash 225 BP. Guaranteed. Holy. Fuck. In-fucking-sane.

Base power doesn’t mean shit without good stats though. So, pray tell, what is Cinccino’s base Attack? 95. Pretty good. What about its speed? 115. Ooh. Preeetttyy good. Cinccino is a speed demon glass cannon. If it moves first--and there is a good chance it will--you can tear teams apart. Because of its strong coverage moves, Cinccino has an advantage in gyms 6 and 7 (BW)/6 and 8 (B2W2). It is also immune to Shauntal's Ghost types.

Also, Cinccino is really cute. It's just a li'l chinchilla guy. That matters too.

Personality Traits: Ava is a mild-mannered and soft-spoken girl. I like to think she is the traditional Aquarian. She prides herself in being intelligent and having the ability to view things objectively. She comes off a little frosty, sporting a bored facial expression and preferring to let her friends do the talking for her. However, she is very friendly and honest to a fault. Ava is also very sensitive, even though she never likes to show her feelings. When she is comfortable with you, you’ll notice how eccentric she actually is. 

Background: Ava was born in Paris, France, in a (fictional) 21st Arrondissement known as Royaume—meaning realm, in French. This district separates magic from non-magic humans. She was born to a family of noble sorcerers, the Mille-Feuille family. (ENG pron. meal-foy) She recently graduated from the Young Sorcerers Academy, a distinguished wizarding school within Paris. Although she is an Honors graduate, she is considered a Rookie Sorcerer and must continue her studies outside of school. This is a firm expectation of her mother, who emphasizes that her magic sophistication is more important than anything else in her life. Ava develops a hidden resentment for her mother because of her lack of freedom. 

Why were they chosen for Devildom?: I like to think her “kidnapping” to the Devildom was for her sake. Not only does she get to experience a world outside the “realm” of the magical district, she also has the opportunity to study demonic dark arts and form alliances with the most powerful demons in the Devildom. Maybe that will shut her doting mother up, no?  

Hobbies: Ava has a keen interest in sewing and embroidery, as well as fashion. Designing, couture, modelling, the whole nine. She’s French, so it’s inevitable that her modish style would be influenced by what she sees in her world every day. She also likes to collect jewelry and stuffed animals. 

Likes: Accessories of Sanrio characters (& other copyrighted animal friends), chemistry, truffles, thigh high boots. 

Dislikes: Being told what to do, people disagreeing with her, the food of the Devildom. 

Appearance

Casual Clothing: Ava’s everyday clothing is usually a white or black fitted turtleneck. This is paired with a denim or black bodycon skirt and thigh high boots. This simple outfit is paired with a pendant, bracelet and a hairpin.  Although she does have plenty of clothes, being in the Devildom limits her selection of wardrobe.

Uniform: So when Ava first received her RAD uniform, she thought it was ugly. It was the typical uniform with trousers and the coat, you know the drill. When she requested to alter her uniform, Lucifer almost objected to it but Lord Diavolo didn’t seem to mind, as long as the adornishments of the blazer weren’t manipulated. 

Any alterations to their uniform? If so, what?: She decided to elongate the coat and put some light padding underneath to emulate a dress. She also cinched it to fit more tight on her waistline. It reached to her mid-thighs, and maintained its proper buttons and things. With the trousers, she cut them by leg and constructed them into knee-high boots. The process was lengthy (and expensive), but it was done. She pairs this fit with a white frilly blouse underneath the blazer-dress.

Family

Mother: Lady Cornelia Savarin (neé Mille-Feuille), a noble sorcerer and the eldest of the 5 Mille-Feuille daughters. Her appearance is icy, with long ash grey hair paired with sharp baby blue eyes. She seems to never smile. Very bourgie and exudes royal energy 24/7. Cornelia loves her daughter dearly, but she wants to mold her into the woman she grew up to be: Powerful, well-respected, etc.

Father: Duke Poivre Savarin. He was born to a neighboring family of sorcerers. Messy blonde hair and lavender eye color—where Ava gets her looks from. These days, he has abandoned his magic and is currently on a 100-acre farm in the South of France. Ava still has no idea as to why he chose to ditch his life in Royaume. Rumor has it that he committed wrongful acts and fled, others speculate that the Mille-Feuille family disowned him as an in-law. Maybe he just wants to raise cows and chickens. Nonetheless, Ava keeps some contact with her father. 

Siblings (if any): None. 

Pets?: Ava owns a chinchilla named Bisou, which she obtained while in the Devildom. Satan was the one who brought her and suggested she get a chinchilla. (Lucifer may not approve of having a pet in the house, while also having a massive three-headed hellhound...)

How many friends does your MC have?: While her stay at RAD, she became friends with three low-ranking demon girls: Cléo (ex-human), Bianca (a succubus) and Lolita (a divination witch). 

Ava and Cléo have met previously when the latter attended the same school as Ava. However, Cléo’s destructive tendencies got her banished into Hell indefinitely. (long story short she committed domestic terrorism by releasing demonic spirits into the city and possessing a shit ton of people.) 

Past relationships: N/A

Has your MC had a relationship before?: As a child she may have had a boyfriend, but that barely counts, right?

Have they been in love?: Nope. Whenever she does though, she will go insane. 

How easy do they gain crushes?: Not very easy, to be honest. She tends to be impersonal to people she is not friends with. In a crush, Ava typically keeps people at a distance, especially if she finds herself ‘feeling different’ when she’s around them. 

Do they believe in love?: She absolutely believes in love, especially monogamous love. She takes it extremely seriously, making any romantic relationship she finds herself in a slow-pacing one. “The strength of your heart compromises the one of your mind, so why would you give your heart so easy?” she would say.

What’s their type? A confident, intelligent person. Someone that can stimulate her mentally and provide her with devotion. Someone adventurous and sporadic, who is willing to show her a different side to them. 

Sexuality: Ava is heterosexual but she came to the conclusion that women provide more emotional comfort. 

Which one of the 7 brothers does your MC like the most? okay this is hard one. it’s a tie between Asmodeus and Satan. 

Why? Asmodeus, because she got along with him first. They have shared values in beauty and fashion, so it was easy for them to find common ground. She can show off her hobbies and have Asmo be receptive to it. Satan, because they’re both Intellectuals™ and can have a good debate with their big juicy brains. She also likes to compete with him to see who receives the better marks in school. 

What traits do they look for in a partner? Dignified, loyal, smart, soft-hearted, sincere, masculine, and protective. 

General

Favorite food: Chocolate covered anything. Berries, nuts, lizards, beetles, anything! She also loves anything with cheese on it.

Do they like sweets? Yes! The namesake of her last name is a popular dessert, so it’s no doubt that she loves anything pastry and sugary. 

Do they like spicy food? Not as much as she likes sweets. She does like red pepper flakes in the inedible Devildom cuisine, if the taste calls for it.

Do they like school? Ava is a dork so she loves school. When she found out she was returning to an academy, she wasn’t that upset about it. This gave her an opportunity to learn more, outperform her peers, and go back to the school atmosphere.

Well, if the question is "what if" and talking specifically about the Pokémon that is my favorite (about Minccino)…

Surprisingly, but the chances are high that I could get along with this Pokémon in reality. I mean, Minccino, as a Pokémon, (maybe) is based on the Chinchilla… Which is relatively simpler than some other pets…

I heard that these animals are nocturnal… well, it's 2 am here, so no problem x>

And speaking of the qualities of the Pokemon itself, and not its …. mastermind? prototype? Do you understand me. Here I look like Bianca from the anime, I have an eternal mess, so Minccino's love to clean everything would be … at least useful x>

In general, I like a very convenient Pokemon for cohabitation, haha

He kept sending them money though, but her mother now had a different drug of choice, gambling. While it didn't make her someone who properly provided for her children, she did care and tried to give them what they needed. She didn't always succeed and there were many nights they went to bed hungry. They also moved a lot, trying to evade rent which now means her mother has a debt from that and the excessive gambling.

When Bianca got older, they asked people to start calling them Billie. It fit in better with their gender identity, as they were non-binary and it just sounded a lot cooler, they decided. They came out as being attracted to girls and their mother, was actually accepting of it. She may not have been the mother of the year, but when it came to that, she was very supportive. They made some friends at school, though they were never popular and as all her friends were all into rap and hip hop, they got interested in it too and it turned out, they were actually really good at it. They called themself H.A.V.O.C. and found their passion in rapping, singing and writing songs, but they realized that the chance they could live off their talent was slim. Growing up poor had made them realize that they had to do something to make a better life for themself.

School was never what they enjoyed, so they decided to get vocational training. They became a plumber and they actually quite like the job. They couldn’t find employment as a plumber in Detroit though, so they worked some odd jobs and finally got enough money together to move to New York City, well just outside of New York City, when they were 22. There, they worked as a plumber for a bigger company for two years while they lived in a dump of an apartment. They also got some gigs as a rapper and songwriter, so when they scraped all of their money together at 24, they could by themself tools and a van. That is how Billie’s got started.

They eventually got enough money to move to a better apartment. Their roommates Brittany, Roisin, and Kate are all quite different from them but they get along. Billie follows the rules that are set in the apartment and their roommates don’t bother them too much. They did mention something about A Cup-pella and since the first time they’ve been there, they love hanging out there. The atmosphere is great and the people are nice and hot, so when they need a coffee break between jobs or they need to relax in the evenings, they go there - with or without their roommates.

Pets: They have recently bought a male chinchilla, whom they have Chinchilla named Apollo.

Relationships:

Jane Hayward: Billie doesn’t get along with Jane at all. They see her as a spoiled brat and thinks that Jane’s side of the family stole their father away from them. That being said, they won’t tolerate anyone hurting her. They’re still their family, only they get to fight with her.

Brittany Pierce, Kate Hummel & Roisin Flanagan: They’re roommates, there isn’t much more to be said. Billie talks to them, jokes around with them but they work so much, that they haven’t really gotten close. They wouldn’t mind for that to change, but for now, they’re happy to just co-exist peacefully.
