#Bethyl plot bunnies

The wait will probably be a good while for this one but I’m planning on a rewatch in the next few weeks so that I can start on outlining 😆

My goofy sleeping brain decided to try to combine my current hyperfixation with an older one and ended up crossing over Stranger Things with The Walking Dead, but only my very specific AU WIP. The story now takes place in the 80s, I guess, which actually makes sense, chronologically, since Daryl is a teenager in the WIP. Only now the Dixon boys have a cousin up in Hawkins, Indiana by the name of Eddie Munson, whose mom was their dad's little sister. Eddie's folks moved up that way to try to make a better life outside of Georgia (or to avoid legal ramifications in Eddie's dad's case) and then long haul trucker Uncle Wayne ended up there, instead of back in Georgia, when Eddie needed a guardian.

Eddie is probably about a year older than Daryl, if my math works out, which is fun. I don't know if I will ever actually merge the two works, but it would be cool if the Dixons were trying to get north, so they could try to find their only living relatives during the zombie apocalypse.

So I guess thanks, dreaming brain. I definitely needed to be pondering and researching this random plot bunny instead of working on the Hellcheer WIP I'm desperately trying to write...

@xxgillianaquaxx wanted a story where Quinn is replaced by Daryl’s girl in that Walker fight scene in 1.06 "Coming Home". The plot bunny bit me hard and I had to write this. Bethyl because Beth Greene is his girl and I can't find myself writing or reading anything else.

Sometimes, no matter how much you love someone, being with them just isn't right. But what wouldn't you give for it to be right? Can someone like Daryl learn how to swallow his pride and stop repeating the same mistakes over and over? Can someone like Beth learn to fight off her demons and allow someone to get close enough to hurt her again?

How can they stay away from each other when it's all too easy to fall back into one another?

Picking a scab will leave a scar, but they both have so many scars already... what's a few more?

TFW you have a plot bunny that has been running rampant in your head for the better part of a week and you can’t even begin to figure out how to make it work.

So.....

Because I can't keep my mouth shut, everyone gets to hear about my new stuff immediately in the works!

First, a sequel (possibly more) to Take Care Of It, written for Bethyl Smut Week.

Second, a long Brickyl fic building off all the plot bunnies I wrote for Brickyl week. Heavy on the pining!

Third, the Beth Lives fic I've wanted to do for literal years (about two minutes after "Coda" ended, to be exact) that's likely going to start out Began and end Bethyl with sooooooooooooooo. Much. Angst. between.

And as of this morning, a super dirty, super kinky, super smutty Crowley one-shot that I will likely combust from if I DON'T write.
