Padukone was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Konkani-speaking parents.[1][2] Her father, Prakash Padukone, is a former badminton player of international repute, and her mother, Ujjala, is a travel agent.[3] Her younger sister, Anisha, is a golfer.[4] Her paternal grandfather, Ramesh, was a secretary of the Mysore Badminton Association.[5] The family relocated to Bangalore, India when Padukone was a year old.[6] She was educated at Bangalore's Sophia High School and completed her pre-university education at Mount Carmel College.[7] She subsequently enrolled at the Indira Gandhi National Open University for a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology but later quit it due to scheduling conflicts with her modelling career.[6][8]

Padukone has admitted to being socially awkward as a child and did not have many friends.[6] The focus of her life was badminton, which she played competitively from a young age. Describing her daily routine in a 2012 interview, Padukone said, "I would wake up at five in the morning, go for physical training, go to school, again go for playing badminton, finish my homework, and go to sleep."[6] Padukone continued to pursue a career in badminton throughout her school years and played the sport in national level championships. She also played baseball in a few state level tournaments.[9] While concentrating on her education and sporting career, Padukone also worked as a child model, first appearing in a couple of advertising campaigns at the age of eight.[10] In the tenth grade, she changed focus and decided to become a fashion model. She later explained, "I realised that I was playing the game only because it ran in the family. Early in her career, Padukone gained recognition with a television commercial for the soap Liril and modelled for various other brands and products.[13][14] In 2005, she made her runway debut at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Suneet Varma and won the "Model of the Year" award at the Kingfisher Fashion Awards.[15][16] Padukone's fame increased when she appeared in a highly popular print campaign for the 2006 Kingfisher Calendar;[17] the designer Wendell Rodricks commented, "Since Aishwarya Rai, we haven't had a girl as beautiful and fresh."[18] Rodricks had spotted her at a Ganjam jewellery class he was teaching and signed her up with the Matrix agency.[19] At the age of 21, Padukone relocated to Mumbai and stayed at her aunt's home.[6] That year, she gained wider recognition by featuring in the music video for Himesh Reshammiya's song Naam Hai Tera.[20]

Padukone soon began to receive offers for film roles.[21] Believing herself to be too inexperienced as an actor, she instead enrolled for a course at Anupam Kher's film academy.[22]Following much media speculation, the director Farah Khan, who had noticed her in Reshammiya's music video, made the decision to cast her for a role in Happy New Year.[6][17]

Hydari's first project of 2017, Kaatru Veliyidai, marked her first collaboration with director Mani Ratnam and second film in Tamil Cinema. She played the role of Leela Abraham, a doctor based in Kargil during the 1999 war, who has a tumultuous and abusive relationship with a fighter pilot, played by Karthi. Ranveer Singh releases his music label’s first romantic track’ Mohabbat’

With his music label IncInk Records, actor Ranveer Singh is trying his best to create music for people with hearing impairment.

During one of the episodes of the hip hop reality show “MTV Hustle”, the label’s artist Spitfire aka Nitin Mishra, the writer and composer of the hit song “Asli Hip Hop” from the film “Gully Boy”, performed his song “Vartalap” alongside a sign language interpreter for the benefit of the hearing impaired audience.

Talking about the initiative, Ranveer said: “I can’t imagine my life without songs, and there are so many people who don’t have the option of experiencing music at all! We wanted to attempt to change that.

“We want to translate our art in a way so those who cannot hear can somehow still consume it; even if they can’t hear our songs but can in this manner see what we are trying to say with our music and maybe enjoy it, that’s all we want. Every single thing we do at IncInk is all heart.”

Ranveer launched the music label with filmmaker Navzar Eranee in March.

Eranee said: “We wanted to include sign language from day one with all our music creatives. We want to make it mandatory as a practice and as we look into the future, utilise more techniques to include a larger audience who may not have the benefits that we enjoy when it comes to the arts. The couple looked ethereal when they spotted at the airport in Mumbai. The fans of the couple could not help but swoon over their chemistry. It is to be noted that the couple had flown to Sri Lanka for a honeymoon on December 30. After their marriage, it was Deepikarsquo;s first birthday on January 5. The couple was spotted with their fans-cum-flight crew at Sri Lanka airport. The duo donned casual best and was seen walking hand-in-hand at the Mumbairsquo;s airport. The couple was all smiles as they waved for Paparazzi. Do you know, Deepika had revealed her honeymoon destination 10 years back but it was not Sri Lanka? It was Italy, where the couple got married last year. Yes, during the promotion of her film, lsquo;Bachna Ae Haseenorsquo;, the Padmaavat actress had stated, ldquo;Italy was great fun too. It was 10 days of shooting this lovely romantic song in these beautiful locations. I donrsquo;t think I would have discovered this beautiful place had we not shot this song there and now since we have discovered it, itrsquo;s a place I would like to go for a holiday or honeymoon.rdquo; nbsp;

Celebrity marriages have become very special these days. With fans raging with enthusiasm and are celebrating celebrity weddings as if they were their own house weddings. With celebrities getting so much love, even they are very humble and feel blessed that they've such loving fans. 2017 December was the start for this race. Once it started, the television and cinema stars started getting married in lots. Even earlier marriages used to happen but the ratio is far less than what is happening in 2018. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli: This wedding was the cutting of the ribbon for the wedding season. Their wedding happened on 11th December 2017. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh: Deepika Padukone is a big Bollywood star who came into the industry in 2007 as the leading lady opposite King Khan himself in the movie 'Om Shanti Om'. He met Priyanka in a party and they started talking. He then proposed to Priyanka in London on her birthday on July 18, 2018. The couple tehn celebrated their engagement in Mumbai on August 18, 2018. They will get married on the 2nd December in Jodhpur.
