The (almost done) Blanket!

This took me about 8 months of on and off crocheting. It was all done in single crochet and took 52 rounds to finish with some left over.

I used roughly 3 cakes of bernat blanket yarn in eggplant ombré . My tension was a bit tight as I didn’t want to have big holes in this project. Used a 6.5 mm hook and up to 7-8 stitch markers for increases ect.

I’m currently using a 3.75 mm for a shell stitch border! The yarn is a Caron one pounder I got for Christmas a while ago much like most of the yarns here.

The excess that could make another round was used as a coaster! Used a 4.25 for the border and it’s red heart super saver wild flower!

💜Finished my gengar Amigurumi a few days ago! I’m pretty happy with how it came out! I’ve been planning to make this since late 2021- crazy how time flies! It was made with 8 mm bernat baby blanket yarn and 8 mm hook! Original pattern called for an F (3.75) mm hook so it’s sized up significantly. I had to make the face myself since the pattern had instructions for a felt fabric face only. This turned out to be my biggest amigurumi to date! This pattern was made by KnitPurlPrint (they are no longer selling this pattern on Etsy)!💜

Current WIP! A knit blanket. I’m using 11mm circular knitting needles and Bernat Baby Blanket yarn.

To make the pattern, I’m switching the order of my knit and purl stitches every 15th row. Currently I am 91 rows in.
