If I ever bought a gun, I'd want to buy a Grendel P30. Do you have a favorite modern pistol?
Depends on what you consider modern. My favorite pistol is technically the Beretta 93R, a burstfire pistol based on the Beretta 92. But, you know, I'd absolutely settle for an M9 or normal 92. In terms of pistol to own, though, I might try and settle on a more consumer friendly firearm like a Glock. A P226 would be cool too.

"Caramel macchiato? Did you remember the chocolate chips?"
"And- the whipped cream on top..." "And this is exactly why after I'm doing drinking this, I'm going to install a Wi-Fi module in you. You know, for something that's been offline since the days of Backstreet Boys, 'NSYNC and Britney Spears, you still catch on pretty quick! Then again, that's your my favorite floofy Motor City murderbot. Good boy!"
"-Look Rebecca, that's dessert, not coffee. I should have kept my muzzle shut about that combination years ago."
"Your point, Officer Prower?"
"Nothing, nothing at all Professor Chambers."
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Resident Evil x RoboCop AU where a prototype 'RoboCop 2000' or RC-2000 is developed and assigned to Raccoon City as an attempt for OCP to recover its flagging fortunes after 'RoboCop 2' and 'RoboCop: Rogue City', using a critically injured anthropomorphic fox Detroit patrolman as the basis.
Compared to the original, the RC-2000 has a full-fledged AI modeled on its template containing his full range of memories, skills, emotive profile and the like. The underlying technology is also six years newer and the signature Beretta 93R sidearm is upgraded to a .45 ACP variant. A second 93R is also included and the newer operating system contains multi-targeting capability similar to that of 'RoboCable' from RoboCop: Prime Directives.
On arrival in Raccoon City, Security Concepts placed the RC-2000's upkeep under the responsibility of RPD STARS Bravo Team medic Rebecca Chambers.
Taking over the rear security role from Rebecca, the RC-2000 ultimately was instrumental to a different outcome in Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1, resulting in:
A cohesive sweep of the Ecliptic Express, Umbrella Executive Training Center and the Spencer Mansion with Bravo Team remaining together increasing survivability.
The detainment of Dr. William Birkin while en route to a meeting Wesker.
Wesker's perma-death.
The RC-2000 being damaged in a confrontation with the Tyrant, prompting Rebecca to leave Raccoon City after the raid in order to further her career, but also to make an effort to repair the robot, who she formed an attachment to.
Rebecca took over his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO patrol car as her own personal vehicle, removing the police equipment but retaining the coloration and his RPD unit callsign (308) on the side.
This was successful as of 2014 before the events of Vendetta with rumor being that she woke him up with a rather terrible piano rendition of the Moonlight Sonata.
Other Trivia:
His name is supposedly Miles Prower and his birthday is recorded as being October 16, 1980, with a record of him graduating from Wayne State University in 1996 with a criminal justice degree and a minor in physics.
He gets very flustered when she calls him a 'good boy'.
Rumor is that Miles is the one who put Rebecca on her signature caramel macchiato with chocolate chips and whipped cream.

I was watching a video on the guns behind Robocop: Rogue City which made want to look for an actual transferable Beretta 93R. Those things go for like $117,000. I knew I'd never be able to afford one but holy shit that's insane. I still hope to be able to shoot one someday.
Oh btw this video I'm watching mentioned that Robocop's sidearm was SUPPOSED to be a dressed up Deagle but it looks tiny and stubby in his giant gloved hand and his finger couldn't actually fit in the trigger guard. Apparently the armorer on set just happened to have a fucking 93R he kept in his car for self defense. How fucking awesome is that? Well anyway the 93R trigger guard is a lot bigger so you can loop your support thumb through it when you use the fold out VFG so that made it big enough for Robocop's finger.

━━ ✦  ( @inhumanhacker ) cont from here
Charlie listened intently as he watched Elizabeth leave. He knew that Sage would understood what he meant. Everyone in their world knew that the two would kill for each other if it came down to it. He was found, she was sold, to the same man. They used all they had learn to survive and make a name of their own with their skills. While it was a brutal upbringing, they were thankful for one thing, they had each other now. Both having lost their families, they made one with each other.
He watched Sage handle her Glock 17, a smile on his face, his own Beretta 93R already in his holster ready to go. ❝ I think there better question is who isn't in this race. All the big names and even the smaller ones smelled blood in the water. They are all out for The Book. I think their talents should be best used focused on getting us there first. ❞ Taking the bag without hesitation and then shrugged. ❝ I think the only one we should focus on honestly is the new guy for the Castle Family. He had no qualms on doing what he did to Libby last time they met and I'd rather he not be in our vicinity. ❞ While this was all dog eat dog world, there was some decorum to it all, it was okay to hurt each other when trying to get to the same thing, hell perhaps even land each other in the hospital. But when the Castle's man saw Elizabeth, he aimed to kill and that was something he would not tolerate, this time he would see him coming first and wouldn't miss. ❝ Who knows, maybe it'll be quiet since I got the information first. Maybe I could finally take you to dinner. ❞

what's your and the breach's characters favorite weapons and sidearms? With their explanations of why course
I'll start i guess,
My favorite gun is the MP5, light, easy to carry, smol, and slap, with good rate of fire and light recoil,
And my favorite sidearm is the m1911, no positives just style points, like using a revolver in a modern world, but who used sidearms in actual combat right?
Firstly, I'd appreciate if you were to ask for a maximum of 5 people cause Breach has over 20 characters in it and all of them can and have used firearms 😅
But, since I do have a list of what gun each character always uses, here it is anyway.
-= The Archangels =-
Gabriel = FN FNC | FN FAL | FN Browning Hi-Power
Raquel = Remington 870 | CZ Scorpion EVO 3 | Saiga-12 | CZ-75
Michael = MG4 | HK33 | Mateba Autorevolver
Mouse = P226 | Glock-18/19 | Serbu Super Shorty
Anna = L85a2 | Glock-19
Justin = Mini-14 | M1911
Charlie = HK MP5K | Glock-19
Carly = HK MP5K | FNS 9c (Sometimes dual wielded)
Hayne = M4a1 | Diemaco C7a2 | Walther P99 | Beretta 93r
Kaz = Benelli M4 | KRISS Vector | Jericho 941
Rook = AR-15 | MP7a2 | Two AF2011a1 | Hudson H9
Bishop = M60 | McMillan Tac-338 | HK416 | Desert Eagle | SIG P226
-= The FBI =-
Anthony Reville = M4A1 SOPMOD Block II | HK91 Custom | SIG P320
Daniel Salazar = Benelli M4 | P90 | USP 45
Rita Collins = Remington ACR | G36C | Glock-19
Dave Letterman = UMP-45 | Honey Badger | FNX-45
Megan House = Mossberg 930 | MP5a3 | FN Five-Seven
Mama Louise = .50 beowulf AR-15 | 10 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun | 1911
And last but not least. For my personal favourite favourite weapons.
The P226 (Cause it's the gun I'm most familiar with) and my favourite gun of all time, the FN FNC... because of the movie Heat, also I love the Swedish AK5c variant.

Beretta M93R: Exploring the 'Robocop Auto 9', with firearms expert Jonat...
Manufactured by KFC of Japan.
Manufactured by KFC OF JAPAN.  I know it’s only an AirSoft replica, but seriously, US?  Are you going to let Japan sell Auto 9′s in KFC, and not even TRY to catch up?
This shows how the Robocop Auto 9 was made from a Beretta 93R.  It then shows you how the Beretta 93R works.  3 round burst is the most complicated to make.  Fully auto is easier than semi-auto.  Semi-auto requires a seer to catch after each shot.  Multi-round burst requires the machine to, naturally, count, mechanically.
The Beretta 93R was created as part of the older idea of an automatic pistol with a stock.  The stock collapses either on the weapon, or can be removed and collapsed to an extremely small size, while still apparently being quite a stable stock.
The idea was something pursued by a number of countries, and then abandoned.  The idea goes back to the Artillery Luger, where you can add a stock to a pistol.  Then, with the advent of automatic pistols, the stock would allow the user to control it, effectively turning it into a submachinegun.
The Beretta 93R apparently does it’s job quite well.  The grip is slightly bigger to hide the ratcheting mechanism.  The foregrip and stock work quite well, and the 3-round burst makes it quite controllable.
