For some it might be just a red t-shirt but for me this is peak 00s european gay club fashion and you can't take it away from me.

Ginger squad, ginger dorks, ginger thots, or thotty redheads idk, but why not? These three would cause fascinating destruction if they teamed up OwO
From left to right: Mercutio (Rómeó és Júlia), Crowley (Good Omens), and Julian Devorak (The Arcana Game).

Hi guys in Italy it's 5AM, it's August 2020, and I can't actually sleep cuz I came back to this alternative romeo es julia "bootleg"
I mean, it's generally extremely inferior to the official performance, BUT PLEASE CAN WE TALK ABOUT BERECZKI ZOLTAN A M A Z I N G PERFORMANCE HERE?
As an actress myself I totally understand him slightly changing his interpretation of the character to explore his role more, and I totally love how he played Mercutio here.
It's slightly more dramatic, deep, he's still the playful crazy boy we're accustomed to but he totally added a strong melancholic reinterpretation here.
If you've never watched this ugh I don't recommend watching the whole thing BUT PLEASE CHECK ZOLI'S SONGS (especially le duel and la mort de mercutio) BECAUSE HIS PERFORMANCE IS SOMETHING ELSE.
I love him so much bye and goodnight.

Bereczki Zoli on Mercutio
Yesterday, as I was browsing Youtube, I happened upon a short little documentary on the making of Rómeó és Júlia, complete with interviews from the principal cast and some of the crew. Since so many of you guys are fans of Zolicutio, I thought I'd translate what he said about the character.
"He's incredibly joyful. Compared to Shakespeare's, he doesn't have- or actually, he does have the kind of duality like in the Shakespeare play, that beside the happiness, he has incredible depth to him. So besides the jokes on the surface, there's a depth. I think he has this, but here - because this is a musical - it shows much more how energetic Mercutio is. I adore dancing, and I'm really glad that I can finally show how much I love this thing. And I never - not even in musicals - get in a situation where, especially to such music, I can dance such choreographies, so this is super great! So my Mercutio is first of all a dancer! I can really express myself fully through this."
Bereczki Zoli and dancing is the real love story of this musical, everybody go home.

I’m rewatching the Hungarian version of the French Romeo et Juliette and oh my gosh you guys - I somehow forgot how fucking bisexual they made Mercutio in that version, like in one of the scenes he literally kisses Romeo and than spends the rest of Act I chasing Benvolio around to kiss him too. And Bereczki Zoli’s portrayal is just so fucking flamboyant, like every single move he makes just screams GAY all over the place, I love him so much

wait is this Thrill Me in Hungarian??? And the two actors played Mercutio & Tybalt in ResJ??????
Back in 2018 I made a fake trailer of a Hungarian version of Thrill Me in which I dreamcasted Bereczki Zoli and Szabo P. Szilveszter (they happen to be the OG Mercutio & Tybalt in ResJ, just so you know) as Richard & Nathan using bootlegs of Kabaret & Rebecca😂
Never thought my headcanon would come true in this way akdodbegdiforwdrn
youtube
So...here ara our very new Hungarian Mercutio and Tybalt in some other play...OMG, are they ready to become heros of slash fiction? :D

Dolhai Attila & Bereczki Zoltán - István, a király
And then I poke around among videos and stumble over this old video of Dolhai and Zoli singing a duet from István, a király.
