Those who are yet too young to marry on the first of May, will simply paint their hand in the same colour as their lover and hold it for the rest of the day.

Usually there is a May tree built up in the middle of Schluchtenburg’s courtyard and all those who are grateful for what Ostara brought them hang a white ribbon to the tree’s top. BELTANA HOTEL: Chicken Florentine - pan seared chicken breast, garlic butter, baby potatoes, roast pumpkin, green beans and hollandaise. $30 This hotel is always a favourite of mine and once again, didn’t disappoint. The presentation on the plate was superb. Beautiful layout with magnificent colour. Chicken breast was delicious and wonderfully tender. The sauce was full of flavour. Vários tipos de RFID , ativos e passivos , foram implementados na indústria de mineração. Com base nessas implementações bem-sucedidas, a Newmont está atualizando seu modelo de negócios padrão para incluir RFID no desenvolvimento de novas minas e está considerando a adição de RFID em suas outras minas também (veja RFID é de ouro para a mina de Nevada ). Rastreando veículos para evitar colisões : a Byrnecut Mining , uma empresa contratada na Austrália Ocidental, usa um sistema RFID para evitar colisões veiculares na mina de ouro Telfer em Telfer, Austrália Ocidental. O empreiteiro de mineração trabalha com quase 15 empresas de mineração na Austrália e no exterior, oferecendo uma ampla gama de serviços, desde o desenvolvimento e produção de minas até o gerenciamento de saúde e segurança ocupacional, gerenciamento e manutenção de equipamentos e administração de compras e contratos. Devido a um aumento na produção, houve um aumento nos acidentes com veículos na mina da Telfer. Por isso, implantou um sistema que alertaria os motoristas quando outro veículo estava por perto (veja a Australian Mining Contractor Impede Colisões Veiculares ). Gerenciamento de mão de obra contratada e aluguel de equipamentos : A indústria de mineração em todo o mundo depende de inúmeros empreiteiros para fornecer trabalhadores, ferramentas e equipamentos, como veículos e furadeiras, para construir minas e mantê-las operacionais. Trabalhadores contratados podem incluir trabalhadores da construção civil, técnicos de eletricidade, pessoal de manutenção e aqueles que trabalham em restaurantes de minas. Na verdade, milhares de trabalhadores contratados e equipamentos podem estar no local a qualquer momento, muitas vezes durante projetos de vários anos. Verificar se os contratados estão fazendo o trabalho que foram contratados para realizar e, em seguida, faturar pelo número correto de horas, é um grande desafio para as empresas de mineração. Além disso, o equipamento de aluguel às vezes fica perdido nas minas enquanto as taxas de aluguel desses equipamentos continuam a aumentar. Atualmente, é um sistema de papel e caneta, e muitas minas muitas vezes acabam sendo sobrecarregadas por bens e serviços. Algumas minas estão recorrendo ao RFID para gerenciar equipamentos de aluguel e contratar mão-de-obra. No Chile, a construtora Bechtel está usando um sistema RFID projetado pela RFID Chile para administrar trabalhadores contratados enquanto constroem uma nova mina de cobre para a Anglo American em Los Bronces, na Cordilheira dos Andes. O projeto, iniciado em 2008, será estendido para o próximo ano. Cada trabalhador contratado recebe um crachá de identificação com RFID - a Bechtel comprou 20.000 crachás até o momento - que inclui nome, foto, nome da empresa e número de identificação fiscal do Chile. O sistema RFID reduziu a quantidade de tempo necessária para limpar um barramento de trabalhadores contratados através de pontos de acesso de 25 minutos para 7 minutos. Também permite que os "cronometristas" errantes, armados com RFID de mãoleitores para digitalizar os crachás de identificação e, em seguida, inserir códigos de trabalho.
