my artstyle would be so easy to kill: an analysis

1: thin fucking necks

thin necks mean they are easier to strangle or chop in half

2: bad at moving

my art style could not run away as they cannot move. they can only move their mouth/spin

3: big ass eyes

very big eyes mean that they are a bigger target for stabbing, or perhaps blinding with sand

4: not a lot of shading

my artstyle is easy to see and hard to cover in shadows, so it cant hide in dark places because shadows dont work

5: very fluffy

my artstyle is very fluffy and has lots of hair, therefore is very flammable and can be grabbed easily.

6: no legs

my artstyle doesnt usually have legs, so it cant run away or dodge attacks.

7: wierd anatomy

my artstyle doesnt have good anatomy, so some limbs- like arms or fingers- wont function properly, rendering them usless to defend with.

8: the v o i d

my artstyle lives in the v o i d and cant hide in/behind anything

9: occasional inconsistencies

sometimes my artstyle is trapped in a box and cant escape, rendering them easier to kill- but they never know when theyll be in a box

10: spindly little legs

UPDATED AYRE LORE YIPPEE

featuring main points in her childhood but not all

in bullet point form because fuck you

(also Ayres parents were surgeons)

First up is when, in a thirst for a perfect child they can brag about, her parents did surgery on Ayre to attach a second pair of wings onto her back- nobody knows how they got hold of more wings but she wouldn't have survived if it weren't for her western genes (magic) so yeah they are not natural :D

next we got just. lots of abuse from the parents, trying to turn ayre into thier perfevt child

then she gets a manipulative girlfriend called Delia

and finally, Ayre and her gf make a plot to kill her parents. it succeeds but Delia duoble crosses Ayre and tries to kill her too- she fails and gets very badly injured. they have a trial and delia is found guilty and executed in front of ayre because extra trauma :3

the plot to kill her parents contained a lot of complex machinery and parts Ayre didnt understand, which ended up with her almost dying, so she started to learn mechanics and stuff

also delias ghost will become vital in someone elses backstory

thought process (rambling) under the cut:

from left to right:

BRAIDEN: the og design had too much detail, and the poncho thing was kinda annoying to draw so i fixed that. i also could never remember which way his horns went so i just. made them shorter

AYRE: i wanted her to look more steampunk-ish, idk if i succeeded but yeah. her hair looked way too neat originally, which is really ooc for her so i made it messier like she doesnt have any parents to brush it for her

ERIN: this one's new, but i did redesign her. all i changed was the pattern on her jumper and gave her a neck (dont ask)

AKARI: probably the one i changed the most. i wanted to make it look like she actually lived in the desert (special thanks to pinterest) and changed her hair, also got rid of her tail cause i always forget to draw it lmao
