(also Ayres parents were surgeons)

First up is when, in a thirst for a perfect child they can brag about, her parents did surgery on Ayre to attach a second pair of wings onto her back- nobody knows how they got hold of more wings but she wouldn't have survived if it weren't for her western genes (magic) so yeah they are not natural :D

next we got just. lots of abuse from the parents, trying to turn ayre into thier perfevt child

then she gets a manipulative girlfriend called Delia

and finally, Ayre and her gf make a plot to kill her parents. it succeeds but Delia duoble crosses Ayre and tries to kill her too- she fails and gets very badly injured. they have a trial and delia is found guilty and executed in front of ayre because extra trauma :3

the plot to kill her parents contained a lot of complex machinery and parts Ayre didnt understand, which ended up with her almost dying, so she started to learn mechanics and stuff

also delias ghost will become vital in someone elses backstory

my mom pierced my ears for me as a kid since the only option for a 6 year old in georgia at the time was claires and she doesnt like claires at all. we had to do each ear months apart because it hurt a lot and scared me. had to give in and do the other ear because my dads 2nd wife said one ear was tacky and they were about to have their wedding
