I see wildberry and basque as the one keeping them in check. Basque is a bit more loose though.

For peeps who read my fics like most of this won't be surprising. Casey starts learning a lot of mystics and alchemy from Draxum and he gets his tats so that he can quick fire some of the spells. He can portal pretty easily using it, and loves to do so while riding his motorbike so he flies out of it and spins to a stop. It drives Leo insane because, "How are you this cool."

His hairstyle is also based on Draxum's but man it makes him look like human Splinter cannot deal with it.

I haven’t seen Gyomei’s episode yet so I imagine he’s indifferent to Tanjiro but it’s cracks me up that 5 (6 counting Rengoku) of the 9 Hashira like Tanjiro in enough to at the LEAST be nice to him and only 2 OF THEM DON’T.

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

Man we love this question don’t we :wheeze: who doesn’t love a good origin story tho???

The VERY first, though? That’s… hm…

I think she started with a concept. No name, no looks, just a concept. I wanted to build a character that fit a cool little exploit I found while playing the actual game! When u die to an enemy, u don’t automatically get sent back to the title screen. U have to actually progress the game dialogue to make the death stick. If u quit the game before progressing that dialogue, the game doesn’t register the battle as having happened at all! It just resets to the last point it had data saved. Which was right before u went into the (now non) lethal fight.

It also resets to the point u last fucked around in ur backpack, so if u happen to wanna play with ur hand before u dive back in, u do lose out on having the enemy’s first turn (and ur first rolls) predetermined.

That’s all game mechanics tho HDJSKS

Point is, I found this exploit and ended up using it massively to my advantage during gameplay- and I wanted to know what it would look like to have this actually be a playable character campaign!

So, sort of story role??? I guess??? Her appearance came directly after I decided to pursue the idea HJDSKSK

I think I’d be stuck here awhile just running in circles putting red string on a cork board trying to pick actual quotes from the story that pin her down the best X] so I’ll go for more general stuff!!!

Not so much a quote, but the word ‘monster’ and what people define it as is extremely relevant to her entire arc. A monster is something terrible and unloveable. It’s a label that was thrust on her, but that she’s also embraced- to the point of her own detriment. Her story isn’t so much learning that she isn’t a monster, but rather, she wasn’t the kind of monster others made her out to be. Monsters deserve love too. She’s not uniquely horrible, nor does anyone deserve to be treated that way for just existing.

As for actual quotes, lemme snag a quick handful of songs off her playlist!!! That’s the REAL inspo jackpot for me- gotta get them tunes n vibes right >:3
