Breaking my bed rotting cicle at least once (finally!)

This weekend, I'm paying my grandma a visit. Normally, I manage to handle four days at best because she and my uncle are responsible for 50% of my teenage and childhood traumas, staying here for too long triggers my anxiety so severely that my skin breaks out.

But this time was different. My uncle asked me to go on a walk with him, and I immediately got nervous. This simple activity was tied to so much stress and trauma—too much to unpack. But I agreed. While getting ready, I felt even more anxious because I haven't been physically active in a very long time.

Anyway, the walk was AMAZING! I relaxed the whole way, tried to have some fun, listened to my favorite hype songs and performed great for someone sedentary. For the first time in a while, I felt great because I was able to move my body and detach from the prejudice and fear I had about physical activities.

I hope i can do more often in the future.
