Paint The Town Red is set against the backdrop of history’s greatest cities, from ancient Rome to depression-era New York. Cloak yourself in the trappings of depressed undead vampires and try to find pleasure in a world drenched in sorrow.

Being dead feels horrible, every character in Paint The Town Red is hellbent on recapturing the sensation of feeling alive, escaping a lifetime of rot and decay. “Living” each night neck-deep in Passion and bad decisions.

Alongside the Core Book there will be some delicious add ons for you to grab including - handcrafted dice from RuneFable, the gorgeous black leather “Undying Edition” by Creative Quest and various Prop Pack adventure envelopes to take your vampires throughout history.

We’ve got some fantastic stretch goals planned including a GM screen designed by Johan, upgrades to the (already beautiful) book, more adventure locations throughout history from an even bigger range of writers and a solo version of the game!

I have been productive in the last couple weeks. More productive than I’ve been in a long time, and yet I still feel drained and unaccomplished. I guess I should feel proud that I’m getting stuff done and remind myself that there are lots of good things happening; but it just kind of … doesn’t reach the part where my brain decides to release some goddamn endorphins. I’m hoping that being in the new place will feel liberating and maybe ease some of the relentless persistent sadness I’m feeling. Y’all, I’ve got the morbs. Depression/grief/trauma sucks.

On a brighter note, I found furniture. First, there was a mid-century vanity complete with mirror in mint condition that I snatched up from my local thrift store. The item is unmarked and likely mass-produced, but in decent shape nevertheless and the (cosmetic) repairs I’m currently working on are minor.

To make things easier, I begrudgingly re-activated my Facebook account and realized that a) Marketplace is still the easiest way to get rid of all the crap you don’t need and b) there’s lots of good stuff for cheap. My first find was a gigantic Safavieh area rug from their Kenya collection. It’s bright and delightfully textured and a lot and I can’t wait to lay down on it after a long day.

My second find was a round dining table made of teak, sold by a wonderful retiree couple from a neighboring town. They were sweet and funny and helpful (not to mention their absolutely beautiful apartment), and the table is in immaculate shape, especially considering it’s older than me.

Third I found a Danish teak side table made by Trioh (and there’s even a matching coffee table available from a different seller, which honestly is just too good to pass up). The side table itself is in great condition.

Lastly, I finally found a pair of dining chairs, and at a steal to boot. They’re Maui by Vico Magistretti for Kartell, and while they were not in good shape anymore, fixing them up has been fun and challenging altogether. Plastic is less forgiving than wood, but triple 0 steel wool has worked well for me so far. (The same seller I got the chairs from also has a beautiful Mission-style leather couch made of red oak, and while it’s totally out of my price range I’m considering the splurge).

I’ve noticed again how much I enjoy working with my hands. The monotony and precision of the task calms and distracts me, and it serves as a good reminder that the effort, elbow grease and dedication I’m putting into things will eventually pay off.

quirk its just energy and water creation/manipulation. and im crazy op too, so im mad curious about what ill be able to do with it, and especially the every day uses. like a quick hot/ cold compress, making popcorn, and boiling / freezing…there’s actually a lot of food related uses for my quirk🤔

script-ins i have some really random “script ins” too, specifically the anarchy sisters and the freeman brothers (among others). i just think itd be entertaining tho?? and you cant lie those four mfs would be badass heroes.

beach i live right next to the beach, and the area that is fundamentally the “manhattan” of mst has a beach. itll be so fun to do summer stuff every day, like hello??

setting mst in the anime seemed bland as all hell. and i cant live anywhere boring. so i changed it up. in my dr its an island prefecture in the phillipine sea, hot year round and on a tropical rainforest with a ton of biodiversity. including active volcanoes!). culturally diverse just because i wanted it to remind me of nyc and i wanted to have carnaval there lol. (such a cool holiday)

celeb life and as a pro hero im gonna be a total it-girl. the money, the clout, the beauty. basically the whole package. and obviously a stellar hero.

shoto i scripted were “best friends” and very heavy slow burn. im excited for our dynamic (platonic and romantic) he just seems so chill, and an interesting person to be around. i low-key wanna know everything about him. plus our quirks are very like (emma refrence iykyk) so i wonder if well be made to train together more often—or how his dad’ll react lol. oh and i could try to convince him to use his quirk to make like shaved ice and stuff, i always wanted to see what foods he could make. oh and i really wanna go to carni w him?? or like just hang out a ton idk.

This is a non scientific test that I did prio to a commercial shoot for a beauty product. My goal was to get a better idea of the overall feeling of those lenses by testing: Skin tone representation, detail, flares, fluorescent tubes glow, mix light and sharpness at maximum aperture. I was going whit the Panavision Super speed but my conclusion is that the Primo seems to have all the characteristics that I like in the SS without the SS default. The SS are very hard to focus at full aperture, harder to find focus in flares and since those lenses been around since the 70's they miss the mark a bit. Also the SS focal lenght lens size varies a lot . But I might get 2 or 3 on set since the price of the SS rental is super low. The Cooke S4 vs the Pana lens as a very similar skin tone representation, it's normal when you know that Cooke created the S4 to replicate the Primo look. The Leica Summilux-C are precise, sharp and still pleasant for the skin tone but, on my point of view, they are not a good choice for my project. I would end up using ultra con diffusion to smooth those lens when I can get that velvety look right away with the Pana Primo. Very please with the Fujinon Premier Zoom lens. For a commercial I wanna be tight on the focus and that zoom is tight all the way. It seems like it might vignette a bit on the Alexa at 3.2K so be aware. The 75-400 is a beast and it keeps it focus and sharpness all the way. I love the fact that with 3 or 4 lamp you end up with a very glamour shoot when you combine the large bokeh and the flares. I know that the overall video is 35 min but I want the viewer to see as much aspects of the lens as possible. Thanks to my crew, Jessica Flynn and Mels Camera Montreal!

After a long days work you were now seated in a bar with the team. Everyone was in their own little world, taking a sip of your beer you locked eyes with the devishly handsome silver fox sitting across the table

The cool breeze brushed against your exposed legs making you wish that you had worn jeans instead of the flowy mid tigh dress. Your heart thumped in chest as Deacon towered over you, his brown eyes taking in your beauty, he was mapping out all the littlest details of your face

"Do I have something on my face?" the longer he stared at you, you felt yourself shy away from him, uneasy you took a small step back but he placed his hands on the small of your back bringing you back to him

"No, I just missed you" smiling you held onto his biceps enjoying the moment you two are having

The city of Los Angeles was wide awake around you, cars driving by, civilians going on about their business, drunk and sober alike but all that didn't matter as you and Deacon re-aquainted with each other on the sidewalk

"You could've told me you were being relocated Y/N"

"I know Deac, I'm sorry I just ended things between us without a proper explanation, I didn't want you to be worried about me while I was undercover"

Not a day went by where I didn't beat myself up for accepting this job, at that time I wanted to try to do something else, I was stupid for leaving you like that" placing your hands on his waist you looked up at him, Deacon couldn't stay mad at you. Cupping your face in his hands he closed the gap between you two

Your lips molded together in a tender kiss, you missed his kisses so much. You melted under his touch as you both lost yourselves in one another after all this time. His lips were like drugs, addictive and he was your dealer

Braking apart for air he pressed your foreheads together, his breath fanning against your face as he spoke
