"Hey sunshine, haven't seen you since roll call." Y/N shot daggers at her friend as she plopped down into her seat.

"I have had a long morning and that infuriating thing of a man didn't make it any easier." Nolan, Chen and West couldn't help but laugh at their friend's misery. They all had the pleasure of working with officer Bradford one on one so they knew the hell he was giving the rookie.

"I honestly don't know how you all put up with him and his method of training. I swear to God that man is half robot, half man. He's insufferable!"

While she was busy ranting about Tim, she failed to notice her friends were no longer snickering at her rant, smiles long gone frome their face as Tim stood silently behind her hearing every word from her mouth.

"I'll add that right to the list of names I've been called, Boot." Y/N felt all the colour drain from her face hearing Tim's voice directly behind her. She stood up and turned to face him.

"Sir I'm sorry-"

"Save it, let's go." Tim stormed off towards their patrol vehicle, not interested in hearing a thing she had to say.

"Someone's in trouble."

"It was nice knowing you."

"I hate you all." Y/N managed to take a bite out of her sandwich and a large gulp of her soda before trailing behind her clearly ticked off T.O.

Tim sat in the driver's seat, watching her drag her feet back to the car. She wouldn't admit it but the officer scared her even more in this moment as he watched her like a hawk.

He watched silently as she got in and buckled up. With a shake of his head he started the vehicle and pulled away from the curb. He drove past three blocks before he finally said something.

"If you think that I have been hard on you these past couple months, I am about to make your remaining months as a rookie even more insufferable. I could easily make this your last day but that would be me being nice."

Y/N wished that she could've disappeared at this very moment so she wouldn't have to deal with whatever hell Tim was surely going to put her through.

From afar Percy could easily make out the silhouette of the girl who unknowingly stole his heart. He couldn't take his eyes off of her as she sat on a log staring out into the horizon.

The cool breeze caressed her skin sending a shiver up her spine. Y/N regretted leaving her zip-up jacket in her cabin but she didn't initially plan to sit here this long. However, when the sun began to set she couldn't leave without taking in the beauty of the sky. Hues of yellow and gold painted the sky as the sun slowly said goodbye to Camp Half-Blood.

It's been a few days since her and Percy shared a moment together a couple feet away from where she currently sat. She vividly remembers the way he stared at her, his touch, the way his soft lips felt against hers.

Percy has been trying to find a way to talk to Y/N. He wasn't sure if he had made the right choice kissing his friend or if he blew his shot entirely. He saw her shiver once more and removed his grey hoodie before making his way over to her.

Y/N jumped slightly at the feeling of something being draped over her shoulders. She didn't have to guess whose jacket now laid on her shoulders as the familiar and comforting scent of her friend filled her nostrils.

"Hey you."

"Hey stranger."

Percy joined her on the log and for a moment they didn't say a word, they just sat in each other’s presence, both trying to figure out how to approach the elephant in the room.

"So uh-"

"I'm so-"

The pair giggled at their attempt at sparking a conversation. The blue eyed demigod gestured for her to go first.

"Ladies first." He said.

"Well...uhh..how have you been?"

"Seriously?" Percy quirked an eyebrow at her with a smirk on his face making Y/N’s cheeks heat up. Y/N nodded her head causing Percy to laugh.

"Fine. For the past couple days I've been trying to figure out if I may have eternally screwed up our friendship and I might have since you've avoided me since then."

"I wasn't avoiding you." Y/N immediately got defensive but Percy proceeded to list out the many occasions she avoided him.

"Oh really? You haven't jogged past my cabin since then like you normally would, you've changed your route. I tried to have lunch with you yesterday but you took off when you saw me heading towards you. You also ditched training with me to train with Clarisse."

Truth be told he was hurt. Hurt by the fact that she chose to avoid him at all costs. Y/N turned to face him and he did the same, their knees now touched each other.

"I only kept my distance because I didn't know how this conversation would go. I wasn't ready to hear you say that you made a mistake by kissing me and that we should remain friends, isn't that what you're going to say?" Although she didn’t show it, she was anxious. She didn't know what words were going to come out of his mouth but she was betting on him regretting the kiss.

"For someone so smart, you're so clueless sometimes." Percy's lips turned up into a smile, watching as confusion etched its way onto her face.

"What?"

Without giving her a chance to think about what's happening, Percy cupped both her cheeks with his hands and pulled her in for a kiss. Y/N didn't hesitate to kiss him back as she gently held onto his forearm.

This kiss was much more intense compared to the last one as they both tried to pour all their emotions into it. Somewhere along the line they both remembered they needed air and slowly broke the kiss. Percy pressed his forehead against hers and interlaced their fingers together.

"Did that say I want us to be just friends?"

"No, not at all."

Percy kissed the top of her head as she snuggled closed into him. He didn't know where this would take them but he knew for sure that he would do anything for the girl in his arms.

As for Y/N, she too didn't know what the future holds but she was certain that they'd face whatever comes their way together.

"Gotcha Jackson."

Although it took her five tries Y/N finally sent Percy's sword clattering on the rocky shore of the lake. As she regained her breath, her hold on her sword never waivered, holding her weapon up at her friend's throat waiting for him to make a move or say something but Percy's mind was elsewhere.

His blue eyes were trained onto her face drinking in the way her eyes gleamed under the sunlight, the way the beads of perspiration trickled down the sides of her flushed cheeks and the few wayward strands of her brown curls that managed to escape her bun and framed her face beautifully.

Y/N couldn't help but notice the shift in the atmosphere around them as they both stared at each other. Her breath got caught in her throat and Percy didn't miss that tiny detail, he made her nervous.

How had they gone from their training to having such an intense moment, she wondered.

"What?" Y/N didn't know how much longer she'd be able to keep holding his gaze. There were flutters in her stomach, her cheeks were starting to get hotter and it wasn't because of the sun they were currently standing in.

"Percy-"

"You're beautiful."

Y/N lowered her sword in disbelief, had she heard him right? Percy took that as his chance to move closer to her still holding his intense gaze on her. Cupping her face in his palm, he inched closer and closer to her until their lips brushed against each other. Their eyes fluttered shut as their lips gently pressed together.

"Percy!"

Y/N was brought back to reality at the sound of Annabeth's voice a couple feet away. She managed to break away from the blue eyed demigod who seemed disappointed at the interruption.

"Thanks for the lesson Jackson, Annabeth." Y/N left the pair behind on the shore, turning back once to look back at them only to see those ocean blue eyes she loved staring right back at her.

“Dr. Y/L/N.” 

“What is it Griffith?” The brunette looked up from the tablet in her hands to see the new intern smiling back at her and panting like she just ran two miles. Y/N cocked an eyebrow and the intern who seemingly forgot her reason for searching for the OBGYN in the first place.

“Oh! There’s a really handsome man looking for you. Well, I overheard him asking Dr. Hunt for you down in the pit but he got brushed off so I offered to bring him up but he said he knew this hospital like the back of his hand. Which is weird now that I think about it.” Griffith tilted her head to the side causing her curls to bounce on top of her head as she thought back to her interaction with the man.

“Did he give you a name?”

“I didn’t ask but he’s right-” 

“Here.” For a second the doctor’s heart skipped a beat at the sound of a very familiar voice. A voice that she tried so hard to forget over the past couple years. 

No no no, it can’t be him she thought.

“Y/N.” 

“Griffith I need you run down to the lab to collect Mrs. Henry’s lab workup.” Alex hung his head and the intern could visibly see her superior trying her best to ignore the man that called out to her.

“Y/N you can’t igno-” 

“Griffith-”

“On it.” The intern glanced between the pair before speed walking down the hall to the elevator. Alex sighed, he knew that she wasn’t going to be happy to see him but he didn’t expect her to ignore him either.

“Y/N please, can we talk?”

Rolling her eyes at him Y/N walked past him to go check on her patient but that only made him follow her. Alex securely took hold of her arm and pulled her into the nearest on-call room.

“Alex! What the hell?” Breaking away from him she wasted no time in putting as much distance between them as possible. 

“Y/N I know you don’t want to see me especially after the way things ended between us but I just want to talk.” 

“It’s been years since you left me to go back to Izzie and now you want to talk. Alex I’m only going to say this once, fuck you. I don’t want to hear a word coming out of your mouth because when you were supposed to talk to me you left. You took your things and took off leaving me a freaking letter filled with bullshit.” Alex listened to her release all her anger on him that she definitely had pent up over the years.

“I meant everything in that letter Y/N. I loved you and every single thing we had built together-”

“Oh please, you wouldn’t even know what love is even if it slapped you in the face Karev. If you had loved me, loved us and what we had, you wouldn’t have left. We would’ve come up with a way for you to meet your kids and be a part of their lives but you took off instead. You didn’t mention them to me, you just found out and left me in the dirt.” Hot tears pricked at her eyes as all the hurt, frustration and anger rushed to the surface but she’s not going to let them fall. Alex Karev didn’t deserve another tear of hers.

“You didn’t deserve that.” 

“I didn’t deserve that but yet still you did that to me!” Alex felt a stabbing pain in his chest hearing and seeing how much pain, how much she’s hurting over the way he left. After all, they were three days away from getting married and starting a life together.

“I’m sorry.” 

“It’s a little too late for apologies.” A moment of silence fell over the room giving Y/N the time to get a hold of her emotions. Alex couldn’t help but take in her appearance after being away from her for years. He had to admit, her beauty never changed but the thing that struck him was the wedding band that she wore on her left hand.

“How are they?”

“Mhm?” Alex snapped back to reality at the sound of her voice.

“Your family, how are they?” She couldn’t help but to be curious about the kids and what they looked like. A smile graced his face at the thought of his kids back home.

“They’re good, the kids are growing nicely.” 

“And Izzie, how is she?” 

“We’re no longer together, we had gotten remarried and tried the whole apple pie family life but that only lasted for two years. I’m just sticking around for the sake of the kids.” His smile faltered, breaking that news to her. When he left he had hopes of working things out with Izzie and they did but it wasn’t the same and he knew that. He knew that his heart was back in Seattle with Y/N but he didn’t want to not be part of his children’s lives. Clearing his throat, he pointed to the rock that sat on her ring finger.

“You got married?” 

“I did, I married Gibson” Y/N’s lips curled up into a smile at the thought of her husband Jack.

“Gibson from Station 19? Wow, okay.” Alex didn’t see that one coming, he stuffed his hands into his pockets as he continued.

“He uh- treating you right?” 

“He is.”

“Good, good, you deserve it.” Y/N could see that he’s still wrapping his head around it and just as she was about to say something her pager went off.

“I have to go, they need me in the pit.” She brushed past him but stopped with her hand on the doorknob.

“Alex, although it took a while, thanks for finally coming to talk.”

“Better late than never, right?” The pair chuckled at that statement because it’s true. Now she was finally able to bury what they had.

“But I should get going, take care of yourself Karev.” Y/N opened the door and ran off leaving him in the cold room. Just as the door closed shut behind her, Alex found himself saying the three words that he wanted to tell her all along.

“I love you.”

"Question, do you plan on getting off your ass anytime soon to help me out here?" Stephen barely glanced in my direction before he returned to his laptop in front of him, completely ignoring the fact that I'm basically decorating our apartment all alone for Christmas.

"I told you that if you wanted to transform our home into Santa's workshop you're on your own darling."

"I don't recall that at all."

"Sure you don't."

Lies, I do remember him telling me that if I wanted to go the full nine yards for the holidays I'd have to do all the work since he's not, and I quote, "Feeling festive."

Stephen adjusted himself into a more comfortable position on the sofa giving whatever he was looking at his undivided attention. Huffing I resumed decorating the Christmas tree, mumbling things that would easily land me on Santa's naughty list this holiday.

Truth be told I wanted this to be something Stephen and I did together as it's our first Christmas together as a married couple. I'm also bumbed because he knows how much this holiday means to me.

Too caught up in my own thoughts I hadn't noticed that Stephen had been staring at my every move for the past five minutes before he practically snapped his fingers and turned our apartment into Christmas haven leaving me speechless.

"Really Stephen?" Crossing my now empty arms over my chest, I turned to face him. The sorcerer got up from his place on the sofa and crossed the living room to get to me with a sly smile on his face.

"Merry Christmas my love." He planted a kiss on my lips, slowly wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Merry Cristmas to you too, show off."

“Where are we going?” America asked the sorcerer yet again only to remain without an answer. The young girl followed closely behind the man who was on a mission to find someone. Stephen came to a stop in front of an apartment complex, his eyes locating the window of her apartment.

“Stephen?” Both heads snapped in the direction of a woman’s voice; Stephen’s pulse increased the longer he stared at her. He forgot how beautiful she truly was and seeing her alternate self with his own eyes opened the floodgates of memories.

“Y/N.”

“I-I thought you died?” Y/N swallowed the lump in her throat, tightening the grip on the straps of her purse. Her Stephen had died a while back so seeing this man in front of her apartment building caught her off guard. 

“Apparently I am in this universe but in mine, you are.” Stephen took a couple steps towards her to cup her face in the palm of his hand. Y/N held onto his forearm, nuzzling into the warmth of his touch with her eyes closed. 

“I don’t have long here Y/N-”

“Can’t you stay a little while longer, you just showed up?” Y/N and Stephen’s vision became blurred from the tears that threatened to fall; both of them longing to stay in each other’s presence. Stephen pressed his lips on her forehead like he always did when he used to tell her goodbye.

“Sadly, I can’t. I have to find my way back to my universe to deal with something urgent.”

“Is there anything I could do to help while you’re here?” They both stared at each other, Stephen still caressed her face in his hand, brushing his thumb against her cheek. 

“No, I can’t let you do that. In my universe, you died helping me and I’m not dragging you in the middle of all of this.” 

“Stephen-”

“I came here to see if you were alive and you are. You have no idea how much I want to stay here with you but I can’t.” 

America turned to look away from the pair as they shared their moment together on the empty sidewalk. She could see how much pain those two are in just by the look on their faces.

“There are so many things that I never got to say and the relationship we both had was far from perfect but I love you, I always will love you Y/N.” Stephen needed to get those words off his chest for so long, little did he know Y/N also had some things to say.

“You are the most hot headed, sarcastic, loving person I know Stephen Strange and sometimes I wanted to strangle you with my bare hands but I love you. Always and f-”

“Forever. Maybe the both of us were unlucky in our respective universe and hopefully somewhere out there we’re both living the life we dreamed of. ” Y/N tiptoed to plant a kiss on his cheek and pulled away from him.

“If there’s a universe where we’re both happy together, I hope they cherish the time spent with each other. Since I can’t help, please be safe.”

“No promises.” Y/N’s eyes fell on the young girl that tried to occupy herself off to the side.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t get your name. I’m Y/N and you are?”

“America.” The young girl shook Y/N’s outstretched hand, smiling at her.

“Look after him for me please.”

“I will.” Y/N stepped to the side so that they could get going, Stephen took hold of her hand as he walked past drawing her attention.

“Take care of yourself for me.”

“Always.” With a final squeeze of her hand, Stephen took two steps forward slowly releasing her hand from his. Their fingertips brushed together upon release and they both felt their heart sink in their chest yet again. 

Y/N stayed put watching as the two of them headed for the corner. Stephen looked back at her, waving his hand goodbye and she did the same.

“Goodbye Doctor Stephen Strange.”

He felt lips brush against his. “I would, but I can’t leave without my favorite man in the whole wide world. That would be inhumane. What if he can’t drive himself home?” You leaned against the back of his hair, letting your fingers play with whatever they wanted.

"Oh fuck off!"

Sherlock smiled to himself upon hearing his lovely girlfriend swear the fist thing Thursday morning. He knew exactly why she's upset in the bathroom and the the sound of her opening her trusty pad only backed up his guess.

Her period has begun.

"Good morning love, sleep well?" He folded the newspaper and put it off to the side as she emerged from their bathroom. Y/N crossed the floor and sat in his lap, curling up to the warmth that his body provided.

"Good morning and there wasn't much sleeping because somebody kept me up all night." Her lips pressed against his neck as she nuzzled into it.

"I wonder who that was?" His body shook with laughter as she playfully smacked his chest.

"How are you feeling, any cramps? I know how terrible they get for you." Y/N pulled back a bit to look into his baby blues with a surprised look on her face.

"What is it love?"

"You know."

"Of course I know. For the past week we've had sex multiple, multiple times, which you initiated. Your breasts are sensitive as they are heavier and fuller than they regularly are. You've been craving a whole lot of sweets plus you've been bloated for a couple days now, I chose not to bring it up. Oh and then there's the fact that I heard you opening your pad a short while ago." Sherlock winked at her knowing that he checked all the boxes with his observations. Y/N rolled her eyes at him and placed her face right back into the crook oh his neck.

"You, Sherlock Holmes, never cease to amaze me. What am I craving now? Since you seem to know everything."

"Strawberry cheesecake and cookies 'n cream ice cream."

"Screw you." He got it right again. Chuckling, the curly haired detective kissed her head, rubbing her back soothingly in the process. A shit eating grin plastered itself onto his face as he spoke his next words.

"You already did, many times in many positions."

"Sherlock!"
