I'm gonna vent on here because I would do it in my twitter (x or whatever is called now) but I only have my personal account where my friends follow me and there's no need of them reading this.
So, today at class some girls Idk that much "stole" my friend's and mine seats in the front row. And since it's a class where everyone chooses their seat, it's not like the teacher cares. So me and my friends tried to find seats for the three os us to seat together but there only were seats of 2 available so my dumb ass offered to go seat alone on the back of the class, something that in other circumstances I wouldn't mind, but since Idr like these girls that "stole" our seats I was pissed off because we had seated in front row for like 4/5 classes and since they were in the back and couldn't seat together they decided to take the seat of someone else. (Idrk if they acknowledge that we were the ones who were seated there the past few classes or not) So the majority of the class I spend it pissed off at them. Later on I calmed down, but it bothered me how they didn't seem to care at all that they stole someone's seat and that I give SO MUCH thought to other's opinions, emotions... like I try to be considered and empathetic and I always go out of my way for other people but it seems that people don't care. They just do what's best for them. Idk, but that wasn't what I wanted to ramble about.
After that I had another class and when I was finally leaving school I laughed with a friend who wasn't involved in all of this. So I was much calmer. And in my way home I started to ponder how I tend to be too loud or too quiet. And there isn't an in-between.
Cause with people I don't know or in places I'm not familiar with I tend to be really quiet and I don't speak as frequently as I do with my friends or parents.
And okay, it may sound like normal, but like my behaviour changes a lot.
And then I gave thought on how I manage my emotions and I realised it's the same. I can be really quiet and have a poker face on or even a facade (with a smiley face that seems natural, or atleast that's what I think because no-one has commented on it) and people don't notice my emotions (if it's someone that really know me just notices that I'm quieter than usual) BUT I can also be really loud about my emotions and everyone around notices what I am feeling on the spot.
And all of this it's not on purpose. It just changes depending the situation and the place where I'm in.
So I wanted to vent about to see if anyone feels related to this? Yk if this happens to anyone else too. Or I'm just that weird?
(PLEASE IGNORE ANY GRAMMAR MISTAKES!! ENGLISH ISN'T MY FIRST LANGUAGE)

Are you a Responsible Digital Citizen?
A digital citizen is someone who utilizes the internet in a way that is morally responsible, safe, and ethical. How can we then conclude that we are responsible internet users? According to Social Integrity, University of Michigan (2023), "A good Digital Citizen follow the RAPID PRINCIPLE" where R stands for Respectful, A for Authentic, P for Positive, I for Intelligent, and D for Distinctive. A responsible online user protects their personal information, conducts cautious, and shows consideration for others.
As digital citizens, we can observe social, ethical, and legal responsibilities when using technology, such as being aware that it is forbidden to hack into someone else's account. Understanding and knowing the laws, the right and wrong, and the do's and don'ts of the digital world. Be knowledgeable, accountable, and respectful at all times.

Think BIG.. Life in reality has all variation within both the extremes. I saw this man sitting below an ‘image of the king’ painted on a wall of a temple entrance in Udaipur, Rajasthan. I just shot this image without any reason, except for the contrast in the subjects. It was the only shot I got, for, the man in the picture didn’t allow me to shoot after this. Sometimes, the under-priviledged persons feel offended when someone tries to take a picture of them! Better respect their feelings and move away saying ‘Sorry’. Bottom line: Holding a camera doesn't give us the right to photograph anyone we like. When people object, we should respect and refrain from shooting. Life lessons are more important to learn while shooting on the streets. Learn to see the world around series Learn the Art of seeing. Call 9444441190 for more details. I get that for the past 150 years, fans have been disappointed that Laurie ended up with Amy instead of Jo, but that doesn't justify the hate Amy gets. Like I haven't seen any Amy and Laurie fans be nasty to Jo the way Jo and Laurie fans are to Amy.
Jo and Amy are sisters, so while you might want a certain sister with Laurie, be respectful. Because at the end of the day Little Women is not a romance novel, it's about sisters.

Virginia State Parks are still currently open to day hikes. Go to nature for your mental health--in all times, but especially now. Just make sure to give others seeking that same mental and spiritual refreshment at least 6 feet of space, and avoid touching/using shared infrastructure like benches! If you have kids, please make sure they do the same. Do not go in large groups, and only go with the people who share your home. Wash your hands before and after going out (and periodically during, if you can). Try to go during less popular times. (Sunrises are especially lovely and less occupied!) Be safe, and be respectful--of nature and of your fellow human beings. The sun and trees and sky and birds and water are all here for you! #vastateparks #nationalforest #outdoors #breathedeep #seekpeace #beresponsible #berespectful #staysafe #washyourhands #keepyourdistanceevenoutdoors https://www.instagram.com/p/B-cWf8rj8qO/?igshid=1u3bov8zi6y2o

Jimmy Nelson’s The “Art” of Communication Analysis
When I just started watching his speech, I wanted to tell him to pause, drink some water and breathe. He was talking way too fast like he was being chased! However, those thoughts died down when I was starting to get captivated by his story of how he wasted his money on this guy who was supposed to help him in interpreting the language of the Tsaatan Tribe in Northern Mongolia. What happened was that they had a miscommunication and misunderstanding between him and his interpreter. Turns out the guy only wanted Jimmy’s money so he didn’t tell Jimmy they were walking towards the wrong valley when they spent 2 weeks of walking to get to that valley. But Jimmy was patient.
He talked about the night when he finally gave up because it seemed like he couldn’t get the chance to get a photograph of the Tsaatan Tribe and so he finally gave in and drank the alcohol that was being passed inside the tent and according to him after drinking, he finally smiled after days in his journey. Then they all dozed off but Jimmy suddenly woke up and wanted to go to the loo but he made a mistake and spread his urine all over the place and on his clothes. Now, he didn’t know that the reason why the reindeers are following the tribe was because of the urine they sprinkled to the ground because he wasn’t paying too much attention to his surroundings and what was happening. So, he was suddenly cornered by the reindeers to the edge of the cliff and he started screaming for help. One man looked at him and gestured to look at him, pointed gestures to everybody and then they put their hands over their stomachs and they all started laugh and Jimmy told them to stop screaming and help him instead. However, they all started laughing and laughing without any form of language whatsoever and then the man pointed at Jimmy’s groin and he pulled Jimmy back down the villagers and everybody was laughing at him and pointing at his groin and so Jimmy realized the reason why the reindeer were walking towards him.
The next day arrived and a very heartwarming thing happened. They sort of slowly made contact and finally found a way to communicate with each other despite the language barrier and so he finally got to take a photograph of them. But in the process of taking pictures of them it required a massive amount of communication to take the perfect picture. And he did it by talking slowly as if he was talking to a child and demonstrating it to them.
So, what happened in his journey was that in communicating with the tribe it was hindered by the language barrier. However, since Jimmy was patient, he waited. Then a sort of miracle happened and they suddenly had contact with each other. It might be because of the night before where he finally gave in and drank the alcohol to making them laugh at his mistake of almost falling off the cliff because of the reindeers sniffing his pants. Maybe at first the tribe felt sort of dismayed because he didn’t know that passing around their alcohol is a part of their culture in greeting or welcoming people and he rejected the alcohol until the night he decided he’s going home the next day. His story just reminded me that no matter the language barrier we can still communicate with other people, though it will take awhile but the key point here is patience, respect and understanding. Before he finally got to take a picture, it required him patience in trying to communicate with them; respect in not crossing borders and not forcing them into anything; and understanding by carefully observing the tribe and pay attention to them.

As a store clerk, I’ve had, I suppose you could call it a revelation. People either look at me like I’m not worth the time of day or just ignore me completely. But boy, when there’s a natural disaster, I’m like f**king Jesus when I come out holding some bread and hand sanitizer.

Dear Maureen Walsh,
Dear State Senator Maureen Walsh,
I normally write about life or photography or occasionally cocktails, but I just watched your speech on the floor of the Washington Senate, arguing why a bill that would require uninterrupted meal and rest breaks for nurses should be excluded from smaller, rural hospitals, and after watching it, thoughts flooded my brain. And, well, when that happens, I write about it.
You said, and I quote:
“I understand…making sure that we have rest breaks and things like that, but I also understand that we need to care for patients first and foremost. I would submit to you that those (small hospital) nurses probably do get breaks. They probably play cards for a considerable amount of the day.”
I’ll be honest, State Senator Walsh, I watched that video a couple times just to make sure I was hearing you correctly. After all, my daughter is currently in nursing school and it isn’t easy. It’s hard, hard work. It taxes the mind and the body. She has to know EVERYTHING. That is, when she isn’t playing a wicked game of Gin Rummy. I think she learns “Card Playing” in her third semester.
And then I looked at you, State Senator Walsh, and I wondered what it is you do. So I perused your Facebook page and I saw some stuff: I saw you smiling while you were campaigning; I saw you wearing a hard hat and holding a shovel at a groundbreaking ceremony; I saw you posed in a group shot at a reception held by the Chamber of Commerce; I saw lots of photos of you in a suit with a microphone in your hand, but you know what I didn’t see?
I didn’t see any photos of you dressed in scrubs, scrubs splattered with blood and bodily fluids, weariness tugging at your eyes
I didn’t see photos of you arriving at work before the sun has risen, and leaving after it’s set
I didn’t see you making life and death decisions in the blink of an eye
I didn’t see you quickly shoving whatever food you can find in your mouth to curb your hunger because there simply wasn’t time to sit down and eat a proper meal
I didn’t see you engaged in a juggling act of managing care for multiple patients at a time: medications, treatments, wound care, radiology, PT, OT
I didn’t watch as you received the wrath of a physician for the one thing you forgot while never commending you for the thousand things you remembered
I didn’t see you crying in the bathroom from the fatigue born of overwork and worry
I didn’t see you embracing the family who just lost their whole world
No, I didn’t see any of that.
Nor did I expect to, because that’s what NURSES do, not politicians.
Nurses. You know, the dedicated and compassionate human beings whose hands are too busy holding their patients' lives to even think about holding playing cards.
(PS. I sure hope you don’t need a nurse any time soon. Although being the professionals they are, I have no doubt they would look beyond your disrespectful statement and give you excellent care. ‘Cause that’s what nurses do.
I, however, would make up reasons to stick you ten times during a blood draw.)
xoxo

Let people ship WHOEVER they want!!! It’s goddamn fictional. I’m tired of people saying and assuming
-you can’t ship this because it’s blank
-eww you ship them
-you’re homophobic/ abusers, apologists etc.
- you ship them? Why? It’s a bad ship
- I’m going to automatically assume things about you based on your ships
- you deserve to die because you them
Give constructive criticism, don’t be an asshole and, give respect. Be open minded, understand the point of view of why people ship what they ship. Ship want you want.❤️
