Barnyard Pair
Doodle of couple of farm animals I have for a vague fox-n-hound type stories. Vigilance the dalmatian and Cadence the lil kitty cat, she loves to tease Vigil. He rolls his eyes and puts up with it, but in truth he looks out for her too. AJD . ART

Aiden was a very complex and morally grey character with a lot of flaws, which was quite unusual for the time the game was out (2014, I guess? As far as I know it was a reason why players didn't like his character, he wasn't fun for them). He is avoiding attachments in order to make life easier for himself, because he already lost too much. He doesn't trust easily. He's been betrayed before. And once he trusts someone again (Clara) it hurts once more. He keeps himself distant and emotionally unavailable yet he IS deeply emotional despite these defense mechanisms he built through his life. His personality is very well written considering his criminal past, his childhood back in Belfast and his likeness to his father, who he eventually became despite leaving him behind at young age. He is cold and calculated, manipulative at times, violent and ruthless, he is obsessed with control, he is always in need to have an upper hand in any situation. He's never known a life without violence in it. Starting from his childhood and his abusive father which was also involved in some criminal irish gangs. Aiden unintentionally followed his father's footsteps. It's like an inherent vice they share in their bloodline and he is fully aware of that. Yet he wants his family to break this circle, get out ajd as far as possible. From him. From everything he's done. He is a cancer. If Nicky and her son will stay with him, Aiden would corrupt them too. It's almost like a fable about scorpion and the frog. He can't change his predatory nature. He would kill anyone in cold blood if they threaten his loved ones. Aiden cannot go back to where it all started, yet he cannot stop. He digs his own grave. And he's fully aware of consequences that await him. Happy ending was never an option for him. But he can do something good. He is capable of making the right thing whenever it comes to it.
If you check all his audiologs you may find a lot of information about him, about his training, his thoughts, his way of thinking (+ some users on discord keep finding super interesting deleted materials like cutscenes and missions and dialogue, and also there are novels "Dark Clouds" and "Stars and Stripes"). He is INTJ by MBTI and so are many other characters that I like. I think I had a crush on him since I was fourteen when I first played the game. He never let me go since. And I'm twenty one now. Still I get inspired by him. He is the one who got me interested in idea and philosophy of justice and such thing as vigilance and lynching (in russian translation they used that word which is only fitting, because lynching is what he does). There is also a psychological analysis of him on YouTube which came out a year or two ago. It's exciting to see how game finally gets the recognition it deserves after all this time. I still find it to be a very sophisticated and interesting piece of media. I haven't seen anything like this ever again (except POI of course).
Honestly, I think bloodlines dlc oversimplified him entirely and did him really dirty. I prefer thinking that Watch Dogs sequels don't exist. They even feel absolutely different comparing to the first game. I really loved this dark realistic neo-noir vibe of it. It was clearly inspired by Person of Interest, yet it was very original in it's own way. Ubisoft could've created a brilliant series with this character alone, but decided to disfigure the whole idea of the original game.
this is the beauty of individuality, sharing different perspectives. So, this is one for all the Aiden Pearce fans/stans: What is it about Aiden Pearce that drew you in? What about his character, personality, story, history and appearance tickles your fancy? I would love to hear about that. Feel free to reblog it if your answer doesn't fit the character count for replies/comments. Make it as long as it needs to be, be it an entire essay—I'll read all of it. And if desired, I may share my own reasons.

oh sure you don't believe that but somehow the circles you reblog from are currently whining how people talking about the abortion issue aren't saying women in articles (as if trans afabs can't get pregnant ajd trans amabs can) and talking about how actually it's ok to assume any man who accuses a woman of a buse is a liar but i'm sure this has no affect on your beliefs at all :)))

i have been on tumblr since 2009. i'm on this app for maybe 1 hour maximum a day. i don't see all the posts the people i follow make. i don't agree with all the people i follow 100%. i don't even always agree with my mutuals. a lot of the times, i reblog from people i don't even follow, because i found their blog on a mutual of a mutual of a mutuals blog.
if you want to stay vigilant, be cautious of me for whateve reason, fine. i don't care how you curate your internet experience. but im not going to sit here and try to convince you that i don't live up to your imagine perception of me, because you've clearly made up your mind. your are an anonymous stranger. you are tiny and irrelevant and i will never think about you again after i publish this ask. im sure that ill continue to live rent free in your mind though.
thats fine. its comfy there.
nice accommodations.

I’ve always had the capability to teach old dogs new tricks. What we had learn this couple weeks os that 10 Natives have acquired of 10,000 acres on Crown, “State”, DHHL, on top of that new team partners that now trust that information is true and you have to follow the protocol. The Mariners Ocean Water Pacific Laws, Native Hawaiian Other Indigenous Laws exist. Greed will not benefit anyone for its preservation to survive. Having an insatiable kuhikuhi born and raised in Hawaii. Manybwoukd ask why not on DHHL or Homestead? Well this past weeks with the Kauai Water Department and Case case, Molokai Ranch and DHHL case explains it all. When Chief Kualii and Pavao brought Mu , Menehune, Maui, Hawaii loa ajd the rest of the ohana, the others were waiting ashore in other areas. They scouted the moku, with routes most imaginatively beautiful. They left information on when and how they arrived and had one job to do before any we cant never name., Hawaii her protector was also most tremendous educator. Theres sonmuch information that was taken, protected, and outright stolen, yet our own family member gave up the 7 most important things that connects each plains, other than “new perspective” that was left behind in a world where 7 perspected ajd collided into chaos snd then caught up. Before we jump to that we are finishing up Lonoikamakahiki “Peace Fest” and Luau Kalakaku “Reflection and Fasting Candle vigil” . We want to show you some pages in books that will spark your curiosity. “Giving birth to the brain” wasnt one of the harder tasks as kuhikuhi. It was knowing where belingings where, and you had to pay to see your own grandparents belongs, right after you find out why “they chopped up the body” of our names. Uncke Fornander had asked “Where did all the chiefs go?”. Everything all laid out, had told us where, but on the other every items till this day being looted . One of the 7, we know we have to fight for, the water. That is part of our new kumulipo Mai’au [Memoirs ‘Amaliaanaomakaainanaokahaleiokikiiola. ] uncle Emory and Parker made this super simple. Money = kala, bit wealthy = waiwai ; waiwai=water. #sacredandprofane #wahipana #heiau #thestoryofhaloa https://www.instagram.com/p/CcxTj5HL2gb/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Love is nourished only by sacrifices, and the more a soul refuses natural satisfactions the stronger and more disinterested becomes her tenderness.

Come here to live in profound humility and complete resignation, ready to accept with equanimity of spirit both desolations and consolations, sweetness and tribulations, dryness and repugnances.

Catechism In A Year, Pg. 524 [2015]
The way of perfection passes by way of the Cross. There is no holiness without renunciation and spiritual battle. Spiritual progress entails the ascesis and mortification that gradually lead to living in the peace and joy of the Beatitudes:
"He who climbs never stops going from beginning to beginning, through beginning that have no end. He never stops desiring what he already knows." - St. Gregory of Nyssa

The Greatest Sin
is not to believe in God's Mercy. The 2nd greatest sin is not to believe in His Justice. And the sin against the Spirit, the "unforgivable sin", is both.
