This lovely lady is Batori Logaro, a character from my friend's Homestuck forum adventure, Alabaster: the Doomed Session. She is a wannabe rainbow drinker with a serious flair for the dramatic and a thirst for immortality.

But then somewhere along the line they suddenly character development and now I am gonna be SO SAD for the rest of the adventure omg Batori baby when did you grow up so much Gin look at that huge goofy grin come here let me hug you both and keep you safe

Cauchemar: Recap Chapter 1 of Alabaster.

[CW mentions of abuse, sex, kinks, harassment and all kinds of violence]

Our story opens on Alternia as the formidable and overambitious troll VAMUIN IKENGA [RP] hacks a copy of the cosmic game SGRUB from a server run by the young Sollux Captor.

Vamuin is the epitome of toxic masculinity and cares about nothing else than power, success and celebrity. We learn he dislikes TENTACLES and is obsessed with FILLING PAILS.

We follow the muscular, moon-tanned surfer through spectacular hunts and learn about his unbeatable quality in every area, marking him as an INSUFFERABLE MARY SUE. We also discover Vamuin's psionic power, SUNBURN EYES, which allows him to burn down any entity he can make eye contact with.

He then engages in a series of conversations with the twin objectives of recruiting Players and get some casual sex. He is most successful in the former, misericordiously less so in the latter. The people Vamuin talks to are:

- GINNEO ADARNA [MP], the oldest of his contacts. As a "grubbyfur", he affirms to be a newborn troll larva constantly. More precisely, a genius troll larva, and also an unigroll, an unique unicorn/dragon/troll hybrid. Deeply disturbed by Ginneo's delusion, Vamuin still recruits him as he provides an efficient and regular ego boost.

- BATORI LOGARO [PR], met on a dating website. Part of the RAYNBOW DRYNKER subculture, she constantly pretends to be an immortal and luminescent creature. Vamuin and Batori immediately understand each other as pail-fillers, and engage in mediocre but apparently fulfilling cybersex before she agrees to join the game.

- SECTRA ZOOKHA [UP], an old acquaintance of Vamuin who asked from the rudimentary Alternian legal system a RESTRAINING ORDER against his harassment. Still confident in the fact she can correct him, she accepts to join the team as the future sixth Player. Sectra's obsession is finding her hearts and spades quadrants in order to ensure both her survival and genetic perpetuation. She believes she can be inspired in such a quest by looking at the MAIN TWELVE - the canon trolls -, a group of kids engaged in endless drama of their own.

- COPYCAT [GC], Sectra's best friend. Copycat is in love with her childhood friend, and she copies the looks and gimmicks of all of the MAIN TWELVE cyclically in the hope to be notice.

- VIA [MR], Vamuin's moirail. She informs him his matesprit, TOZY [PM], has disappeared. We learn from narration elsewhere that Tozy is ALREADY DEAD.

- OPHIUCHUS THE GREAT [UU], the employer of both Sectra and Copycat, the one who originally brought them to start stalking the MAIN TWELVE group. Ophiuchus is a particularly delusional and dangerous troll whose obsession for the Twelvies lead to capture, enslave, disguise and torture a variety of random victims. He brings shipping, bloodswaps and fan theories to life in a most horrific fashion.

Vamuin recalibrates the SGRUBrip game to be played with NO CENSORSHIP, MUNDANE LANGUAGE LEVEL and HIGHEST DIFFICULTY. Additionally, he deactivates all of the potential support for Players, including Exiles and Dream Bubbles. He is aiming for a challenging experience, as well as a COMPLETIONIST game and a SPEEDRUN. We see Vamuin directly lying to Ginneo, manipulating him with the objective to make the grubbyfur gratuitously suffer and to unwind on him. Chapter 1 ends with the observant reader thoroughly convinced that the entire session will be nothing short of a gigantic trainwreck.

Tried to do a SBURB Session Simulator using the Alabaster cast.

It was Vamuin, Ginneo, Batori, Crossover, Renart, Sectra, Copycat, Ophiuchus, and Mnevia as the players.

It went like shockingly well, considering my previous game with my OCs (who are all mostly nice, semi-stable people) was an endless game of going insane, murder and the grim reaper killing you over and over and over again.

This went like, shockingly well.

Perhaps the funniest part was Renart just instantly stopping being a serial killer.

Probably the biggest piece of drama was that Ophiuchus and Batori dated for a while but then Batori cheated on Ophiuchus with Copycat.

I think Ophiuchus's hope powers helped a lot, he basically stopped the other characters from freaking out by existing, which I think helped. Also there were no outside threats like the first one where the Invincible Grim Reaper showed up in the first 10 minutes of the session :p

The fact that Eridan being the only one canonically actually acquainted with any of the chucklefuck squad that is the alabaster the doomed session cast is the funniest fucking thing ever. Imagine Eridan having a conversation with Vamuin. Imagine Eridan meeting Batori

Batori is like, that one scene is RGU (I haven't seen RGU so don't judge me on this) where Saionji goes "Were all in coffins". That's her, that's Batori. Batori is aware of the ways everyone's basically doomed on some level, she's one of the few characters implied to have some form of knowledge about what's truly going on (beyond Renart and Ophiuchus), she's the one with the wall scrolling on her wall.

She's also the character who knows what going on with Ginneo (the character in the story who is most trapped in their metaphorical coffin). She's the one who saves him after she realized how screwed he is.

But i spite of this, she's the one who invites Renart, the doom of the session. Without her it never would of happened, but Renart really was already there, it couldn't have not happened.

Anyways Batori should pitch flirt with Crossover more.
