Bathtime with Dawn: Work Hard, Relax Easy with AHAVA’s Dead Sea Bath Salts
Tumblr media
When I told my mom on the phone last night that I was partnering with AHAVA her reply was: “Good! I’ve been buying those bath salts for years.” I said, “I know, Mom – I’ve been stealing them out of your bathtub for years, as well.” That sure gave her a good chuckle. #AHAVApartner
See, my mom and I? We are women who work hard. In fact, I learned how to work hard from her. But, luckily, I also learned from her how a nightly bath-turned-spa experience can be downright vital to a hardworking woman. Not only does it give me something to look forward to at the end of a long day, but it also gives the always-extroverted me some much-needed alone time to simply relax, decompress and soothe myself.
Tumblr media
Never did I need my nightly bath more than this past month. Between my Beverly Hills events, press trips and culinary & wine events (oftentimes all in the same day), I regularly relished that pre-sleep bath time as a chance to be alone with myself and just unwind.
Tumblr media
AHAVA’s Dead Sea Bath Salts help me achieve that by delivering the ultimate muscle-relaxing and hydrating bath experience. That’s right – experience. When you add AHAVA’s Mineral Rich Bath Salts into your bath you’re turning your regular at-home bath into a spa experience because researchers in Israel found that of all the leading Dead Sea salt products, AHAVA is the only product that contains the compounds unique to the Dead Sea, making your nightly bath the next best thing to floating in the famous Dead Sea.  (you can learn more about the research here: https://www.hamarita.co.il/consumerism/health/6417/)
And, these compounds do exactly what I need them to do - relieving muscle tension, hydrating, softening and nourishing my skin, and promoting a restful night sleep – a “spa experience” all with just one ingredient. So, while I dream of visiting the Dead Sea one day, for now, this girl will take my big, busy, beautiful, nonstop schedule and visit the Dead Sea vicariously, enjoying the benefits as I do, all with just scooping a good handful of AHAVA’s Dead Sea Bath Salts into my nightly bath.
Tumblr media
Head over to the AHAVA site yourself and turn your bath time into a spa experience. If you’re anything like me and my mom, it will become a healthy addiction to that you look forward to every night. I don’t know about you – but I could definitely use a “healthy addiction” in my life.
Tumblr media
A Dawn Do? Ask yourself - what can you add into your bath time that will transform it from the same-ole/same-ole nightly bath to a delicious spa experience? Well, sure. Add a colorful cactus. Pour a cup of tea. And, paint your toes to match your tile – like I do. But whatever little luxury you add in...don’t forget the big one: a big scoopful of AHAVA Dead Sea Bath Salts to transform your tub into a soak in the Dead Sea.

✨SAGE BATH 🛁 A bath works similarly to smudging, except it conducts the cleansing through water instead of air. Get a couple of bundles of dried or fresh sage. Put a large pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Wrap the herbs into a cotton napkin or doubled piece of cheese cloth and tie the bundle to prevent the leaves from getting out. Throw it in the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer the herbs for about 5 minutes, then turn of the heat and let it sit for another 15 minutes. Start the bath. Remove the bundle of herbs with a pair of tongs and pour the sage water into the tub to mix with the bath water. Throw in a handful of salt, which will help extract the negativity and purify you. Adjust the faucets to get the water the ideal temperature. Just sit in the tub and meditate for a while. After 15 minute, unplug the tub and let the water, and your negativity, go down the drain. ... #sagecleansing😊 #positiveenergy #woosah #bathtimeritual
