as for the chickens— they're doing good! the younger chickens are all integrated into the older flock just fine now, they all like to wander the yard and free range all day. the babies (like they're not laying age now, they're not babies anymore LOL) were scared of going outside, but now they're running and hopping and dust bathing all day.

not surprisingly my favorite of them all are our two bantam silkies, florence and wednesday. they so fluffy and cute, and flo especially doesn't mind being picked up or pet at all. had to get her used to it cause the silkies had itchy old pin feather casings on their heads they couldn't reach

my "hot take" of the year I guess is that hazbin hotel is actually pretty solid in concept, but is just executed in a way that is so profoundly bad that any potential it had is buried so far underground it will never even experience the idea of light. mainly, that in theory the central idea from what I gather, and run by my friend who does enjoy this show, is that it's a challenge to morality and in favour of redemption, but it completely undermines its own message in its quest for "edginess" and teen relatability.

My headcanon is that the Aquatos moved to America when Raz was very young, like 3-5 years old. And yeah I think that they emigrated via boat out of necessity and yes it was TERRIFYING. Sidenote but that would most likely make English Raz's alongside Dion's and Frazie's second language. They're all seemingly very fluent which I thiiiiiink would make sense considering they all started learning at a young age.

wait do we think that raz has pretty much always lived in america or do u think the aquatos have heavily moved around his entire life in terms of country??

bc i kind of love the idea of them lingering around the grulovia area a lot when he was younger and just generally going all sorts of places seeking good business for the circus. but the implication of them getting on a boat to go to america is kind of there, isn't it. or a plane, i guess. i wonder what the aquatos going over a gigantic body of water was like...huh.....
