after seeing skully's um.......... so we're all in agreement that he would affectionately call you pumpkin, right? :) you are his beloved pumpkin!!! his darling pumpkin pie! perhaps you might even be,,, the lovely candy apple of his eye! just,,, lots of autumn-themed endearments from him to you (on top of the gentlemanly ones "my lovely, my dear, my sweetheart, etc" and the halloween-themed ones hehe). <3 pumpkin is number one solely because of his um and my own delusions,,,

i love how everyone is taking their favorite one piece fan letter characters and making them their ocs; i think it's exactly the point of the episode.

those characters are purposefully left without a name because we, as the viewers, are supposed to see ourselves in them. we're supposed to look at them and relate to them, find a character that was inspired by the straw hats in the same way we were. i think creating these characters and these stories is the best thing the one piece franchise could have done to pay homage to their fans.

the fan letter characters are supposed to be appealing and relatable because they're supposed to be our reflections.

that's why i love how the fandom is reacting to them: we are already obsessing over them, finding names for them, creating fanwork. and it's exactly what we were supposed to do; make those characters ours, make them personal, bring them to life.

Shanks, because he is infinitely more politically minded than Mihawk (a man actually in the government) will ever have the patience to be, is more than likely aware that the marines will be extremely rattled and that the blow back would be intense if a Warlord of the sea was seen around an Emperor.

And sinces he’s not trying to cause a WG incident everytime he tried to go on a date with his pretty bird and also because he’s just a troll at heart. Shanks has collection of increasingly ridiculous giant sunglasses that he insists (read pouts) that Mihawk wear to hide his gorgeous eyes, before they go anywhere they could be seen.

What started out as a “necessity” had quickly grown into Shanks’ pet project of finding out just how absurd a pair of sunglasses could be and how much would he have to beg before Mihawk put them on?

The Mariner Changing Portrait (The Haunted Mansion Parlor)

That painting is said to have been hung in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland (California), Tokyo Disneyland (Japan), and Walt Disney World (Florida) as the Sinister 11 portrait, but this time in the Haunted Mansion Parlor onboard the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny (Disney Cruise Line), the Mariner portrait is the changing portrait. This painting shows the Mariner in his mortal state in front of the ship on a sunny day in the ocean (or a calm ocean you can call it) before transforming to show his ghostly form in the middle of the storm with a shipwreck behind him.
