Set in the dark shadows of ruined Alzira, in mountains that strike fear to the core of the bravest heart, is a tower. I doubt many people could have spoken that name on the first try, lightly or otherwise. Tower of the Dead was a 1984 adventure for Avalon Hill's fantasy RPG Powers & Perils, by Richard Snider with simple cover art by Rick Barber that effectively sets the scene for the dungeon of an immortal lich necromancer. The boxed set includes a useful trifold game master screen with an index for the adventure book on the GM side along with important tables, and a monochrome version of the box art on the player-facing side.
