Geralt and Regis find letters meant for the boys.

Geralt’s mind was fluttering around and jumping from subject to subject, as he ran the sweep up the chimney. While there was some soot, Vesemir had kept it clean and apparently had cleared it for summer use sometime prior to their fight with the Wild Hunt. When the feeling of cold air hit him and he confirmed the flue vent was clear, he withdrew the brush. Geralt set the long sweep to the side and then began to light the remaining torches in the room, bathing it in warm light. Ignoring the contents of the room a bit longer, he quickly stacked logs in the hearth and lit them up.

Spiders and all sorts of creepy crawlies that had taken up residence in the old wood attempted to scramble away from the quickly growing flames. Most made it, but the smell of burning spiders and one very unfortunate beetle filled the area. Turning away from the hearth, he idly watched as Regis went over to one of the dusty shelves and picked up a book.

“What the fuck was…. Oh.” Geralt appeared from behind the wall, both of them staring at the collapsed door for a moment, and then he looked up to the fittings of the giant oak door.

“Damnit, roof leaked down…” He said, spying one of the hinges that had been well rusted through. “Have extras… but damnit…”

“I just barely touched it.” Regis spluttered honestly. Geralt’s end of the bond flitted with amusement at the bewildered expression on his mate’s face.

“Well, come in…. let me give you the grand tour.” Geralt smiled and then frowned. “Just uh… mind the rats… and feral cats…”

Ok but seriously:

In LotL, Geralt and Regis are ALWAYS off having private convos.

He takes Regis to investigate the ruins he first encountered Avallach and called him “comrade”; which made Regis smile with his fucking FANGS.

They went off to chat in Toussaint so no one would bug them…just cuz.

He told Regis the whole truth behind what he found out about Ciri while on a contract (the Khorred encounter)

He told Yen, with his whole chest Regis was his friend and that he’ll miss him.

Yes.
