A possible future of the lore could have these two wizards crossing their paths, with Ryze taking Annie as his new apprentice.

Ryze will remember her bad experience with Brand, but he would see in this little mage a second chance to do better.

Helping Annie to control her pyromancy while he locates the geogenic runes.

DEMACIA DETAINS TOURISTS!

Leaked footage of Ionian tourists visiting Demacia has been leaked online, showing the detainment of an Ionian family of five earlier this morning.

Please be advised, that what we're about to show may be disturbing to viewers.

A man, believed to be the father, attempting to plead with Demacian Guards to allow them to leave to return home for a family emergency.

During this conversation between the father and a guard, a Mageseeker is shown scanning the rest of the family; their device is then shown making a beeping sound when the youngest child, a boy believed to be around the age of five, is scanned. Promptly leading to two guards coming in and starting to drag the boy away; his mother fights to pull her son away, and a Mageseeker backhands her, sending her to the ground. Blood is shown to be trickling down her face from her nose. The children start crying and the little boy screaming as he's carried away, the father abandons his talk with the guard and rushes to grab his son, and is promptly punched in the stomach, causing him to double over onto the ground.

The family, including the two tween children, are cuffed and begin getting dragged away.

One of the guards turns towards the cameraman, believed to be the fourth child in the family, and they demand they stop recording as they snatch the camera away from them and the footage ends.

The source of the leak is unknown at this stage, but the video paints a clear, and all too familiar image of Zaun's own past.

The response to this footage so far has been met with outrage, not just throughout Ionia, but here on our own home turf. Many of our Ionian-born citizens are taking to social media and the streets demanding retribution and justice for the family.

Already news from Ionia has confirmed that military operations have begun dispatching to Demacia to negotiate the return of their citizens and any other foreign citizen caught up in, what is now being labeled, King Jarvan IV Tyranny.

The man himself has spoken up and advised that any outside interference, in the search for assassins responsible for his father's death, will not be tolerated; although in a strange twist has also left communication for negotiations for prisoners, under the age of eighteen and with no magical affinity, transfer open.

He has also "reassured" those concerned, that all mages under the age of eighteen are being cared for and that talks about them being thrown into adult prison systems are grossly exaggerated. And although the probability of them being liable suspects is near non-existent, until the culprits responsible for King Jarvan Lightshield III assassination are brought to justice, his responsibility to ease the fears of his people must be paramount and thus all mages must be detained where authorities will know where to find them. No exeptions.

Make no mistake, folks.

THIS is not how a diplomat rules, this is how a person who is built for war "rules".

King Jarvan IV decrees and methods are better suited for a military camp, not a nation.

His actions court war, and if he continues on the trajectory he is on war is exactly what he will get. Already Noxus is sitting on his doorstep, and now Ionia is storming over. And although yet unconfirmed, Shurima (it seems) is saddling up themselves and aiming towards Demacia to talk it out with them.

Bilgewater Navy, is also confirmed to still be waiting just off the coast of Demacia.

Word has also come from the Sentinels of Light, stationed on the Shadow Isles, where a representative has spoken up and announced that although the Sentinels are neutral in diplomacy, are organizing for a contingent to travel to Demacia and reason with the King himself.

Ixtal has not declared any promises of action as of yet, but there are words of support for those affected by the situation in Demacia and have offered to join in any future actions against Demacia when we their neighbor, are prepared to take it.

On that front, Zaun, is still in full swing preparing for the incoming influx of new citizens and our ruling goddess Janna has commended her people, us, for our community spirit and hospitality.

She has confirmed that she has been in talks with those in Targon, to request aide for those in Demacia.

Still, no word has come from Bandle City as of yet.
