Hi. hello, Jeckie🪽

I am sending my sincere overflowing gratitude to you, that not even 3 boxes of L.A. bakeshop could ever replace. But I'm sending it to your Mom and Dad instead, okay? you can have some if you'd like though. I know you're always by their side, as their guardian angel. Just so you know, I sob every time I hear "Sa kabilang buhay" by bandang lapis ever since I met your family. Maybe because the sadness in their hearts resonates, I would love to hear all about you as there is that look, in your Mom and Dad's eyes that is full of longing, and Pride. It almost felt like they're just waiting for the question to pop-up and would jump at the signal to talk non stop about you, with love. I kind of feel bad that I didn't ask, I just thought it wasn't ethical to do so, especially that they emit this aura of dignified people, who deserve nothing but respect. They are very accommodating and humble yet still kind of intimidating. Which is why I had to suppress the nosiness inside me.

Anyway, It's weird because I kept saying I have no idea what it feels like when you lose a loved one, especially your own child. Yet, I sob a lot to that song, because all I could remember was the look in your parent's eyes, even now writing this line gives me flash backs of their eyes full of love, yet moist with sorrow. and I, again have water in my eyes.

I don't know why I'm writing you a letter, maybe because I feel like it wasn't enough however much I thank your Dad for his words of encouragement, to the point that I would like to tell you all about it too, after all, you're one of the people he loves to the moon and back, as evident from his FB posts. You could tell them in their dreams too how good a people they are, and that many people are extending their heartfelt thanks to them through you, that way it will be much more meaningful.

I don't know what happened, I don't know how to ask. But one thing is for sure, I am grateful I got to meet your family, It was unintentional. But very heartwarming.

And it gave me so much faith and so much love for myself.

Such a lovely family you have, I'll pray for their lifetime of happiness, and for their broken hearts too.
