Band Rants

So I was practicing, since I'm in marching band (#Flute), in the band room cause y'know. Practice. And me and a friend called our band teacher over to ask what he thought of the couples in our grade. He asked to know who the couples were. I went threw some, then I mentioned how I'm, well, dating my bf and he said "Him?" and I was like, "Yeah, are you judging me?" and he said, "No. Just kidding, I 100% am."

So that's how my day's going, what about you guys?

BD: Yeah I got this shirt for free at a music convention.

Me: Oh, you go to music conventions?

BD: Yea-

Things my band director has said:

When the band played a hot mess: “That was painful.” :D

When everyone was rushing and playing on a rest: “You’re not American anymore, you’re rushin’.”

When the band started getting out of time: “Hot mess, yes?”

When the woodwinds were out for sectionals: “We have to be able to do this without them, that way when we mess up with them, we can blame them.”

Also she likes The Beatles. So. Cool lady.
