This is so true! And it's really showing the bias against the arts because animation is something that takes time and isn't a quick money grab. We don't need a live action Mufasa, I want cute animated Mufasa, maybe even making him look a lot like little Simba, I want 2D Disney movies as well as the cool 3D stuff we get! Encanto was do good! (I adore LMM, so I'm a little biased) Elemental was cool! TURNING RED! And yet we get CGI dwarves. Not even real people they could have employed. Not a new story from a different folklore, but an unnecessary remake. Its so annoying! Give me animation! Give me 2D! Give me interesting new stories!

It’s not that i necessarily care about live action remakes I just wish they would use that money to invest in making more animated movies. It just feels like a waste. Especially since half the live action movies are only about 60% live action anyway

Well, looks like Jack Black has gone insane. It's one thing to have a different opinion about the Minecraft movie, but saying that fans "just don't get it" is disrespectful.

A live action Minecraft movie just doesn't work especially when the movie looks so ugly. Kids deserve better than some cheap-looking "realism".

I don't care if they decide to keep the mediocre plot and the average voice acting, just change the way the film looks.

Some Minecraft fans have already recreated the trailer for the movie which looks far better. Graphics may not be everything, but the least they can do is make it look somewhat appealing.

I really hate it when the people who work on a project like this completely disregard the fans. Feedback is critical to any film's success. The Minecraft movie is going to be a massive flop.

Lazy producers too cheap to invest in wigs!!

It's official. These lazy sacks did not even bother with acquiring wigs. Fuck this, I won't even watch this movie in the cinema. If anyone wants a review, they are going to have to wait until this comes out on streaming services and for me to feel the need to watch a movie while drunk.

They are milking this IP for money, not for the enjoyment and the nostalgia it would bring to those who grew up with the books/audios/movies. I already know this is going to be a disaster.

I'm gonna sound so lame but I love shitty horror movies. People still put effort into them, and art doesn't need to be perfect. Give me a plot that doesn't make sense and generic or weird characters. I may not react in fear, but I'll still find joy in it.
