of all the characters that have (or can!) be controlled by morpho in your AU, who would you say is the most powerful (you can't say Morpho Knight himself, that's cheating)

"you can't say morpho knight/galacta knight" not a problem because i wasn't gonna. greatest warrior in the galaxy still gets his ass handed to him by someone on the regular

this would be like... a profoundly bad end of the chrysalis au. i think morpho would probably only be able to get kirby if it had burned through all the others, and i just don't think there'd be a coming back from this one tbh

you can also see that unlike with morpho dee this one is way less fragile; proper pauldrons and shoes, wings aren't full of holes. morpho dee was purposefully expendable because taking bandee was never the actual goal

So Anomalies Cait and Vi are just...so horrible at communicating. Also not me feeling Vis hurt when Cait came in with "the Kiramman" mask. Not me feeling the pain Cait feels of probably standing in the kitchen and knowing she is about to be left behind. Because in the end Vi is free to go. She can do what she wants (in Caits pov at least). And she can never have her or be free. Because she gave that up for Vi. I love a tragic gilded cage character.... Like I know it's not what you are planning but right now it's their pain...

THEY ARE THE WORST! Actually the core trio of Caitlyn/Vi/Powder are all on horribly different wavelengths right now. No-one is communicating in a way where they can be heard and that leads to a lot of consequences.

Vi and Caitlyn are both very much in a cage at the moment. The cruel irony is they have been in there for so long, they don't realize it's been unlocked. Cassandra said her ground rules were in place until they were of age (which i'm saying is 21 to be generous). They are adults now, yet they are both still following the ground rules. Which is very sad to me but part of their journey.

I mean Vi didn't even lock her bedroom door when she took Powder into the bathroom for that conversation, she only locked the bathroom door.

remind me later (like send an ask in like 5 hours, idk) to ramble at length about Ambessa and Mel in Season 2, in particular how much Act 2 has flipped how I was initially feeling about the Black Rose stuff from "oh! a good reason to have Mel and Ambessa and their relationship front and centre? this is exactly what i want" to "i hate this. i would say i hated this more than anything in this Act but regrettably the bar is pretty high given what happened with vi and jinx and ~warwick~"

The Omoticaya rolled his eyes at that, “I said maybe.”

At that, the fingers at his waist dug, ever so slightly, into the sensitive skin there, knocking the wind out of the man under their grasp. The owner of those fingers leaned closer, until his lips brushed against the other man’s ear, “And I know how to turn that maybe into an ‘oh yes, Ao’nung, righ-’”

The man beside him pressed his hand over the Metkayina’s mouth and snapped, “Focus on your work or I will leave and you can find someone else to talk into your bed tonight.”

“So serious, Neteyam. You should let me help you with that,” Ao’nung persisted, wriggling away from the hand that had been clasped over his mouth. Before the man at his side could say anything, he added, “And I didn’t think you’d be into something like gagging, but I am more than willing to work with that.”

“Someone really should gag you. Now, work,” Neteyam grumbled, turning back to his notebook. He just had to hope that the Metkayina would take the hint.

“I don’t see why you take this tutoring thing so seriously,” the larger man stated, but turned to begin working on the circled questions, nonetheless.

“Because one of us has to take your grade seriously, and apparently, that’s me,” the Omoticaya retorted, his pencil scratching against his paper once again.

“Aw, so you do like me after all,” the larger man teased. Neteyam didn’t miss the way those blue eyes gave him a quick glance before going back to the paper.

Deciding to play nice, the darker skinned man confirmed, “You are almost tolerable, when you’re not trying to get your hand in my pants.”

The man with yellow eyes didn’t have to look over to know that the Metkayina wore a shit eating grin. Keeping his voice low, in case anyone was to pass their table, he argued, “We both know that your favorite thing about me is that I shove my hand in your pants.”

Great Mother, Neteyam knew better than to humor the other man, but there was something so exhilarating about talking about such a thing in public. He would definitely have to give himself a serious talking to later. But for now, he played along, humming, “Well, I can think of something I like more.”

Oh and fuck your deadbeat of a boyfriend too—probably too busy gooning off to some low-quality hentai to pick up your call, leaving you stranded at work while you're freezing your ass off.

Shutting your phone off after the 5th missed call, you shove it into your purse, probably getting lost in the mess of paperwork and pens, cursing his name under your breath.

You continue your trek, walking along the unsteady gravel road, each step bringing you closer to a sprained ankle, but honestly, you didn’t have enough energy to care. 

And if your situation couldn't get any worse—you were lost. 

The buzzing of fluorescent lights pulls you out of your inner turmoil. Snapping your head and somehow managing not to give yourself whiplash, you find a rundown gas station barely five feet away. 

Everything about this screamed “BAD IDEA!!”

But you were running out of fucks to give.

Ankles aching, you near the gas station. The neon sign of the gas station buzzing and flickering, with a few missing letters, renaming it as “G— Stat—n.”

You swear you almost saw a comically large tumbleweed rolling down the road. 

Somehow, you manage to haul your ass to the deserted gas station, your brows furrowing as you see a stranger pumping gas into his Yamaha YZF-R1—a sleek black bike accented with deep blue—under the flickering neon sign.

Well, at least you know how you're getting home now.
