It's clear that gender discrimination is still a significant issue affecting many people today. This discrimination impacts LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as some men and women, in various aspects of their lives鈥攂e it at work, school, or home.
For example, women often face underrepresentation in fields like construction and law enforcement due to societal norms that suggest only men with certain physical attributes can excel in these roles.
Research shows that LGBTQIA+ individuals encounter significant job discrimination, struggling to secure employment due to biases and misconceptions about their capabilities.
I firmly believe that "Gender is NOT a Disability". A person's gender should not determine their worth or abilities in any job or role. What truly matters is an individual's skills and performance.
I urge everyone, especially employers, to focus on evaluating people based on their experience and skills rather than their gender.
It's important to remember that gender discrimination is not just morally wrong鈥攊t's also illegal.
Let's progress together and become stronger together, overcoming any challenges that come our way. 馃挄

Media and Information Literacy
Social Journalism - Social journalism is a platform that allows anyone to participate in the creation and dissemination of stories, going beyond simply posting news on social media. Anyone can share what they see and think on websites like Digg, Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter, which increases the diversity and inclusivity of news. Because of this change in the way news is produced, journalists can now experiment with connecting with their audience and telling stories in new ways, allowing them to quickly adapt to the media landscape. It's like giving everyone a say and a front-row seat to the world's events; it makes knowledge more approachable and interesting for all.
2. Crowdsourcing - Crowdsourcing is the process of soliciting ideas, services, or content from a large group of people, frequently through digital platforms.聽Crowdsourcing is a technique that makes it easier to gather resources and knowledge toward a common goal by promoting collaboration and utilizing the collective knowledge of participants. To put it simply, it involves interacting with a wide range of people in order to solicit their opinions and contributions, which in turn promotes creativity and collaborative problem-solving. BE THE CHANGE.
Let's acknowledge that climate change is already impacting our planet in numerous ways, but together, we have the power to make a difference. Remember, there's no backup plan - it's up to us to prioritize Plan A and embrace an eco-friendly lifestyle. Every moment presents an opportunity for us to protect our world. If not now, then when? Let's advocate for our planet and its precious resources, as they can't speak for themselves.
