You sit next to Quackity while he streams, joining him while the food you were making was cooking in the oven. He turns to you, asking if you actually understood anything when he spoke in Spanish.

"I know like, four words" You admit with a chuckle, sitting criss-cross on the chair, fidgeting with your fingers, "But no, not like, at all. Which is why I always stare at you blankly when you speak in Spanish around me"

"Do you wanna learn some basic phrases?"

You shrug, "Yeah, sure. I've been meaning to try and pick up Spanish classes." You nod and run a hand through your hair with a little smile, fully focusing on him.

"Okay..." He hums, trying to think of some basic phrases. "Let's start with hello, hey, and hi, alright?"

You nod.

"Hello is Hola, of course, pretty sure you know that" He begins, lightly smiling, "Hey is Ey, and Hi is also Hola"

You nod, giving him a thumbs up. "How would I like... introduce myself?"

He glances at his chat before turning back to you, "Well, 'Hi, my name is Y/n' would be 'Hola, mi nombre es Y/n" He informs you, "Try saying it"

"Hola... mi nombre es Y/n" You speak, talking a little broken and slightly mispronouncing words as you do so.

"Good, good, mi amor!" He smiles, "Okay, now I'll teach you a few basic phrases. 'Chupo pollas' means 'Goodbye" [I suck cocks]

"Chupo pollas?"

He giggles, "Yeah, yeah"

His chat slowly starts to gain on him, but obviously not many people notice.

"Okay, 'How is your day' translates to 'Hijo de puta" [son of a bitch]

You repeat the phrase, earning a giggle again. Your phone alarm goes off, signaling the food that was in the oven was done cooking. You quickly stand up and slide the chair to the side, waving to chat as you leave.

"Chupo pollas, chat!" You wave, quickly exiting the office.

Once the door closes, Alex's red cheeks are shown, once hidden by a hand over his mouth. He instantly cackles, explaining that he'd taught you a few nasty phrases instead of what he'd told you he was teaching you.

"Oh my fucking God, I can't believe they fell for that!"

HELLO i have arrived home after seeing mason (and united) off from UCLA! here's a summary of the past 2 days:

yesterday i went to training with a sign that said "Mason LA looks good on you, but Boston would look better! Next year?" everyone read the sign and laughed, united staff were pointing at it and smiling (i hope that means they can at least try to visit boston). mason signed stuff when he got off the bus but i wasn't in that line. they went swimming instead of to the training ground so they went by golf cart. when they got back mason got off the golf cart and smiled and waved at me before going into the gym. then on his way to the bus he stopped to sign and take pics with everyone! i wrote a letter to him because i wasn't sure if i can actually talk to him and he was a little confused (i think he thought i wanted him to sign that paper but i just kept asking him if he can have it) i really hope he read the letter🙏

today was their last day in LA so most players took a lot of time to sign and take pics with the fans! i went with a sign that said "Mason can i get a goodbye hug" and erik ten hag came by specifically to read the sign and nodded at me (he went like "oooh aha" idk what that even means LMFAO). mason was one of the last ones out of training, the second he walked out of training he pointed at me and smiled. he went to everyone in the line and when he got to me I LITERALLY DIED GUYS I'M NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY HIS FRECKLES ARE SO FREAKING CUTE HIS EYES ARE SO SOFT AND HE'S SO PERFECT. baby needs to shave tho i can't say i'm a fan of the beard... i asked him if he can sign a white bucket hat and he was like fiddling around in his hand going like where do u want me to sign? i was like uh anywhere and he laughed and said ok anywhere it is! the guys next to me (so nice btw they helped film and take photos of me and mase) told him i'm the "president of the mason fan club in LA" and he blushed. i asked him if i can get a hug and he was like ofc course! i'm sad to report that he doesn't really smell like anything in particular (he also just got out of training/ice bath so at least it's good he didn't smell bad!) -- also sidenote: harry maguire's cologne is so strong💀

anyways when they came out of the gym to go to the bus he waved bye to me before he left... my life is literally completely... also the entire united staff (and ucla staff) knows me i'm lwk embarrassed💀

Ok I wanted to talk about this on my twitter but realized it will appeal to no one so its going here. Being autistic about critter character designs. VERY LONG

Pim/Charlie/Allan/Glep have interesting designs to me like they are some of my favorite character designs possibly in any cartoon cause they're all very well balanced - easy to draw, cute, but slightly ugly also. Well maybe not ugly but certainly not Conventional.

(Glep applies slightly less there, he's just straight up a cute lil guy, how plushies don't exist of him yet baffles me)

I like their slight offputting quirks, like, Allan's spine is visible, Pim's Teeth. They are just strange creatures and I enjoy that. Of course there's also the fact all of their frontfacings (maybe slightly excluding pim's) are just kinda goofy and bizarre looking.

Its just, the choices being made here are really good, okay. They're very appealing lined up, yknow.

The fact they are just kinda cute sometimes makes the expressions being pushed and the weird quirks funnier. If pim was an ugly lil freak all the time it would be less effective when he does that weird awkward toothy laugh. Which brings me to my next "Point" which is like, I really enjoy that they are some of the only critters that arent.... fugly as hell

There are some few exceptions with BG/side characters (just look at amy, shes a pretty gal) but like, most of the side critters that have gotten screentime are very very strange. Allan's landlord is a prime recent example. Look at that guy. Jesus christ.

This is not to say the uglier designs are Bad, quite the opposite, I love when they are hideous <3 But the whole thing is, if the main characters we see every episode were on the same level as them appearance-wise it would get very tired. This is probably like, entry level design stuff for a cartoon, and not very interesting to anyone lol, but with adult cartoons it feels like it can go way too hard on the ugly scale.

Onto the next thing thats been on my mind lately when it comes to critters - I enjoy that their appearances truly are pretty random. Its fun to make things like crittersonas cause like, you can almost do whatever the hell you want lol

I like that some of them just dont feel like wearing clothes, this was talked about by Michael on twitter at some point a few years back I think.

Their hair is a topic that kind of mystifies me lmfao like we see the wiry sparse hair a lot (gnarly, filmore, etc) but then there are characters like amy, pims dad and duncan that have more full human-esque hair. This makes me wonder if its like, randomly possible for some critters to get full heads of hair, or if wigs/hair transplants are a thing, or even if hairloss is just more common which results in the wiry hair later in life. Really NOT important or compelling to anyone but me but I seriously do think about this. Critter Hair Essay coming soon (i'm kidding ............. or am i?)

Also just like, the concept of what critter beauty standards or smth could be sort of interests me, but this is getting incomprehensibly long and stupid anyway, and I would have to be going into heavy Speculation Mode there. so BYE Goodbye

“Frankie, come on, we’re waiting!” you shouted upstairs, wondering whatever the fuck was taking your husband so goddamn long to come down. It was a beautiful mid May afternoon, a golden light outside bathed the street and hinted at dawn. Carmen was waiting too, she was your adopted daughter that you and Frankie loved to pieces. She was a lively girl from Mexico whose parents couldn’t make it. It was just giving a child who had lost hope at having parental love being adopted and given a second chance at a family, it made everything even more endearing. You had adopted her when she was 1, now she was 5 and she obviously had to socialize and make friends, and the park was the perfect place to do so.

“Okay okay I’m coming” he said as he hurried down the stairs, looking at you when he stopped, “We ready?” he asked, “Yup” you replied and Frankie walked over to you and gave you a peck on the lips, I’m so sorry for taking so long…” you smiled at the gesture, Carmen just made that disgusted face that children make when they see their parents kiss. “I have to go to the library… to… study, of course!” chaewon patted your back as she led you to the campus where all the students were. coincidentally, jisung was also there. you didnt seem to notice but do you know who did? Chaewon.

going home was an absolute pain in the ass.

you whispered to yourself loudly, “what the fuck?!” what was causing the sudden and intense downpour of rain? you obviously had no idea it would rain and you definitely didn't think an umbrella would appear out of nowhere in front of you to save you from the terrible rain.

you tried to walk under every single overhang you could see but some were just too tiny and no matter how much you stayed close to the entrances of the stores, there would still be rain pouring onto your shoulder which caused your shirt to uncomfortably stick to your body.

finally, you reached your apartment. after taking your shoes off near the door, you hopped onto your bed right away and dove into the plush linens that were spread out over your mattress.

you realized you were indulging in the soft sheets for a little too long so you checked your phone for any messages that were delivered during the day.

you stumbled upon an email from your english professor from four hours ago. it read, “Hi yn! I have noticed that you’re a bit behind on the assignment that was assigned two weeks ago and I wanted to remind you that you should get going on it if you want a good grade. Thank you.”

sunrise - what does your morning routine look like?

our morning routine is all but identical at this point because what are we if not attached at the hip.

wake up and spend an hour working out aka half assed walking/jogging and bothering each other on the treadmills. shower together, still yapping about whatever. get semi dressed, get kiddo up, and make breakfast and have coffee, usually he takes his to go bc he’s busy. make him late by spending 20 minutes saying goodbye to each other at the door, remind him to be safe, then satomi comes and says bye to him for another 20 minutes making him even more late bc neither of us want him to go. then by that point its time to get her off to school which i handle.

moonlight - what does a summer’s night look like for the two of you?

we have to work hard to stick to routine to make sure we both sleep well and enough so our schedule is strict-ish. especially in isekai au bc he’s still a demon slayer. this feels true for modern au too tho…

dinner at 7 usually enjoyed outside watching the sun go down and listening to windchimes. usually with a little sake in isekai/canon au or a glass of wine in modern. shower/bathe together by 8:30, lose track of time because we were talking about dreams or goals or our day and finally finish by 9:30. then getting ready for bed but we still want to talk so going back out to the porch/outside area to talk some more and watch the moon. making out, definitely touching bc we are now sleepy and relaxed and Needy bc we love listening to the other talk, so taking the party inside to have sex and then eventually pass out post coitus (for me post post coitus pee) and naked lmfao around 11:30 or so

i have like an unbelievably stupid soul crushing crush on this one guy who is a TA. like today i waited all day for his office hours like giggidy like oh hehe i cant wait for the clock to hit 5pm so i can go to office hrs bc im gonna see him yay!!! ^_^. UNTIL. his WHOLE VIBE WAS OFF. his body language to the way he was speaking to me etc. like boy seriously didnt care like. omg. he acted like he was the most important and hot person in the room NO YOU ARENT. YOU ARE AN ASIAN NERD WHO LISTENS TO ANIME OSTS EXCLUSIVELY. I ASKED HIM A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT CLASSES HES TAKING NEXT SEM and he had the nerveee to act like he didnt care. like he seriously had enough of me IM DEADDD LMFAOOOOO IM TRULY DEAD i looove how i can drain a man its so awesome. 

shitty things he said/did all within 30 minutes:

1. scoffed when i mentioned this other TA who is super helpful so i asked him whats so funny why would u laugh and he had the nerve to monotonely reply “i was laughing in a sarcastic manner”. HELP ME LORD IDONT CARE IF IT WAS SARCASTIC WHY WOULD U LAUGH BC I LIKEHIM AND ARE U MAKING FUN OF HIM?? KYS

2. he was explaining shit sooo bad like he was so unhelpful ummm. now im insecure bc what if all the TA’s talk with each other about me. like shit talk abt me. he was acting sooo bored and out of it like wow i dont care that youre tired fucking hELP ME AND DO YOUR JOB KYSSSS

3. immediately left my side to help another guy who just entered the room skull emoji. my vibes were simply too clean for him

4. was very surprised that i was mongolian? he thought i was chinese skull emoji like he almost laughed when i told him that.

I knew it was going to be painful, but this episode just gutted me all over again.

Spoilers for TLOU Episode 5

Making Sam deaf was such a powerful choice. It makes him simultaneously more reliant on Henry and makes Henry more fiercely protective of Sam.

The added background was perfect in my opinion, it was just enough to help us learn more about them, while still giving us plenty of opportunity to learn things about them through Joel and Ellie.

"He's scared because you're scared" and then Henry pretending not to be scared for Sam. Yeah. I'm crying again.

And then the "this place is ugly" and Henry pulling out a huge bag of crayons and coloring on the walls with him? This Henry is a lot softer than the Henry in the game (similar to Joel) and I think it works so well, especially because Sam's younger than Sam in the game.

Really masterful job teaching the audience the term "collaborator" through Joel, especially since it's world-specific language that isn't in the game.

The whole thing with Kathleen and refusing to forgive...hmmmmmmmmmm much to think about (cough cough Part 2)

Joel's little head shake when Ellie pulls the gun out of her pocket instead of her backpack...I am obsessed with them.

The entire scene in the tunnels, the way it was straight out of the game was everything to me. The paint on the walls, the goal paint, Savage Starlight, and, of course, the Danny and Ish drawing, and it being an exact replica of the drawing you find in the game.

It is unbelievable to me that they made Henry and Sam's story even sadder. Henry's put in an impossible situation, backed into a corner to either let his brother die of cancer or become a FEDRA informant against the resistance. And he chooses his brother. I can't say I would have done any different.

I also live how they basically told the audience point blank "Every single character in this story is morally grey. Everyone is a villain in someone's story." Hmmmmm excellent setup for a certain Part 2.

I also love how much more vulnerable Henry is in the show than in the game. He's not a hardened survivor, he's a kid who made an impossible choice to save his brother, and he will happily rely on Joel if Joel lets him.

The neighborhood is such a setpiece, my stomach literally dropped when I saw those houses because I knew what was coming.

"Do you trust me?" BYE I LOVE THEM

Combining the bridge and the neighborhood was a great idea.

"Maybe he was supposed to die." Bitch. Maybe your brother was supposed to die. Consider that.

The infected are so much more intense, the way the runners swarm, the way clickers can hear every tiny sound, and then there's the fucking bloater. It's much more frightening than the infected in the game, probably because the game actually had to be beatable lmao.

Ellie is so important to me, I love her so much.

I'm really glad Sam showed her, even though I knew that the blood medicine wouldn't work, I'm glad he didn't have to be alone.

I think that Henry and Sam's death scene in particular was one of the only things in the entire game that I wanted to remain almost exactly the same in the show, and would have been disappointed if there were huge changes. It, to me, remains a triumph in the first game. Their deaths are jarring, completely unexpected, and with no closure, and I think that it had to remain the same.

Neil has said that they would take a look at what they could change and if it felt better, they would change it, and if it didn't, they would leave it alone, and I'm glad they left it alone.

"I'm sorry" on his grave. This adds a really interesting layer to Ellie's journey. She already feels guilty for Tess and (unbeknownst to the tv audience as of now, Riley) but now she feels guilty for Sam too, and that her immunity couldn't save Sam.

There's so much that I love about this episode, but in particular I love how much more richness Lamar and Keivonn brought to already beloved characters. I loved their relationship, and how much softer Henry in particular was, and I loved how Sam looked up to Ellie, how he trusted her with that secret and his fears.

It looks to me like we're going all the way through fall in the next episode, it's going to be painful to wait nine days.

Author notes: this is the longest oneshot i have ever written lmfao

About two months ago you were sent on a mission at a HYDRA base. You, Steve, and Nat were sent. You were supposed to retrieve classified files about weapons and secret bases. Only two of you guys came back. You weren't one of them.

Lets take a step back for a moment though, to before the mission. You and Pietro had met via Wanda thinking you would be a good match for each other.

I mean, she wasn't wrong, but neither of you wanted to admit it. Wanda heard her brother's rambling about you and Nat heard yours about him. A few weeks of flirting and pissing the two off eventually led you two to dating.

You loved Pietro and he loved you back. When you broke the news that you'd be gone for a few months he begged you not to go. But you had to, you promised that the moment you got back you would hang out with him for the whole day.

Now, the mission.

The three of you split up once you got to the base.

Bad.

Idea.

You each found rooms with the information you were looking for. In the middle of it, though, one of the HYDRA members that hadn't been killed, found one of the bombs at the base.

In short, the base blew up while only you were about to leave.

Steve and Natasha searched the rubble endlessly for any sign of you. After a few days of searching, they gave up.

The mission was supposed to last at least four months. It was cut in half because one agent was left alive accidentally.

On the way back home, Nat and Steve had to figure out how to break the news to everyone. They knew Pietro would be heartbroken.

Steve called Fury to inform him about the situation.

"Rogers why are you calling me?! You're on a mission!"

"It... Got cut short.."

"What do you mean.." The concern in Fury's voice was evident after the sadness in Steve's.

"Someone blew up the base.."

Silence came from the other end.

Natasha spoke up, "Y/n.. Didn't make it out.."

Before Fury could respond Steve chipped in again, "Please dont tell the team. We'll do it when we get back.."

"Did you find the body?" It was a question that needed to be asked for legal purposes.

"No.." Natasha said, her voice shakey.

"Alright. I'll send out a team to look for it. Get home safe."

"Mhm.. Bye.."

"Goodbye."

With that, the two broke down into tears.

Eventually they texted the team that they were on their way home, that they had gotten done with the mission early and to be in the meeting room once they got there.

About 3 hours later, they arrived back at the tower. They both took a minute to clean themselves up before walking to the meeting room.

The two each took a breath before opening the door.

In the room was Clint, Bucky, Tony, Pietro, Wanda, and Bruce.

"Welcome bac-" Pietro cut himself off, noticing that one of the three were missing, and noticing the sad looks on the two that were there. 

It only took about 10 seconds for him to speak up again and ask the two the dreaded question.

"Where's Y/n..?"

Steve instantly began to cry again. Natasha shook her head for a moment before just saying, "I'm sorry.."

Everyone's eyes went wide and filled with tears. Pietro's heart shattered.

He began to sob, mumbling "no no no no no no..."

Despite some serious injuries, you were alive. When the base exploded, you got sent flying back quite a bit.

Where the base was, there was a crap ton of snow that recently fell, so your black outfit stuck out like a sore thumb.

Turned out not to be so bad.

Wanda tried to hug her brother, but he ran off to his room.

At this point every one in the room was crying.

Natasha was being hugged by Clint, Steve hugged by Bucky.

Wanda had her head in her hands, sobbing uncontrollably. For her it was a mix of missing you, and her brother being so heart broken.

Tony and Bruce headed off to their labs to cry by themselves.

You had a major concussion, your left wrist was sprained, you had a gash on your right shoulder, and your right leg was broken.

The concussion gave you horrible coordination, so you fell over quite a few times while trying to find anything or anyone.

You had seen your two friends leave, so you couldn't exactly look for them. Though you knew how Fury operated. He'd send out a search team for you, or rather your body as you were presumed dead.

A few days later, that's exactly what happened.

Pietro hadn't come out of his room. Everyone was worried about him and mourning over you.

Wanda left food and water out his door that every day would get taken in at some point.

Steve and Natasha felt guilty even though they couldn't have done anything to save you. They didn't know about the bomb or the random agent that was still alive.

Fury felt guilty for sending you. He knew there were bombs there and knew you wouldn't leave until you got what you went there for.

You were the one who held the team together. The one who congratulated Bucky when he remembered something new. The one who stopped Steve and Tony's fighting. The one who helped the science bros with things when they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. You stopped dumb fights over movies and whatnot. You were one of the only people there that knew how to comfort everyone if they had a nightmare. The one who helped Wanda with her powers. The one who sparred with everyone to help their fighting style get better. The one who baked cookies and pies to cheer the others up after a failed mission.

With you gone, the team fell apart. Steve and Tony fought more than they ever had.

Science bros rarely had the motivation to finish any projects.

Wanda didn't practice her powers anymore.

No one comforted each other when nightmares hit.

It was chaotic without you.

Three days after Steve and Natasha left, Fury's search group showed up.

They found you quite quickly considering your outfit and the blood trail that started whenever you fell over.

Once the searchers found you, still alive nonetheless, you were rushed to the hospital.

You were suffering from hypothermia, your injuries had gotten worse other than the concussion, which actually kind of started to get better.

You requested to not tell the team that you were alive. You wanted to surprise them once you got better.

After about a week in the hospital, you were free to head back to the tower. You had stitches on your shoulder, surgery on your leg followed by a cast and crutches, a brace on your arm, and a nearly healed concussion.

Pietro had finally come out of his room and sat on the couch for most of the day, watching Steve and Tony fight.

Everyone else was in the vicinity, Natasha and Wanda in the kitchen, Clint and Bruce were sitting near Pietro, and Bucky was poorly trying to stop the never ending fight.

Over all the yelling, no one heard you come up the elevator. Upon taking a few steps out you shouted over the two.

"Damn! You guys were so loud you woke the dead!"

It went silent.

Natasha covered her mouth in shock.

Wanda peaked her head into the room and her jaw dropped.

Tony and Steve stopped yelling and just stared at you.

Pietro ran up to you and hugged you a bit too tightly.

"T-too tight my love.."

He let go of you and started crying again. This time happy tears.

By this point, it had been over 3 months since anyone saw you alive, other than Nat and Steve, for them it was only two weeks, but it still felt like an eternity.

Pietro helped you walk back to the couch, aka, he picked you up and ran back there to sit you down.

Your head spun a bit. "Pietro, I love you, but please, let's not do that for a bit.."

By now everyone was in the living room, staring at you.

"Okay geez what's with the staring? It's kinda weird." You rolled your eyes.

"Angel, for the past.. Like.. Month, we thought you were dead. It's kinda weird to just.. See you again."

You explained what had happened to you. How you had multiple injuries. How you nearly bled out multiple times. Then you mentioned that you purposefully didn't inform them that you were alive.

"WE WEREN'T TOLD ON PURPOSE?!" Pietro shrieked like a little kid seeing their parents kiss.

"Love, too loud, I literally just said that I still have a concussion."

"Sorry, but still!"

"I wanted to surprise you guys. I knew you thought I was dead, hell, I saw Steve and Natasha's faces when they gave up looking for me. I could barely see them but the look of defeat was obvious."

The room went as quiet as it had been when your 'death' was announced.

"Aaaaanyway! I can see the tower has gone to chaos while I was gone!" You broke the silence, trying to lighten the mood, "Tony and Steve apologize to each other for whatever crap you were fighting about."

They just glared at you. You jabbed both of them in the shins with your crutches. Then they gave each other a half assed apology, but it was good enough for you.

"How about we watch a movie!" You smiled, figuring it'd be a nice way to get back with everyone.

Pietro grabbed the remote and handed it to you. Lucky for you, the brace was on your dominant hand, mixed with the passing concussion, you dropped the remote multiple times.

"I swear to god if I drop this one more time trying to get to this movie I'm gonna-" With that, you drop it again.

Pietro laughs a bit, then helps you put on your favorite movie. You give him a kiss on the cheek, which he quickly turned into one on the lips.

"Get a room!" Wanda said, chucking a pillow at her brother. He caught it and threw it back at her.

As the movie started, you and Pietro cuddled closely together, you had to work around the cast and brace, but the two of you made it work.

As you started to fall asleep, you smiled to yourself before looking at Pietro and whispering, "I kept my promise.."

Temenos would have tried to pull the scheme of “Okay since you technically live here now you have to help pay rent” with Kazan in the Persona au before Crick just tells him to cut it out.

Bonus points if Kazan actually does keep records down on how much he technically needs to pay and by the end of the whole canon he just writes Temenos a check, gives it to him, and then says that’s his rent. There. That’s how he just says bye to Temenos. God forbid they ever meet again.

HE WOULD ABSOLUTELY TRY TO PULL THAT. Kazan paying him back at the end of everything as goodbye is actually so bittersweet. The only problem is if Kazan actually has the money to pay him lmfao-

Despite his habits he could definitely come up with a scheme to pay him back, before ultimately trying to leave for good (and hopefully to take his sister with him).

Oh so the wedding was earlier today. It came and went and I’m so glad it’s all over. I am so ready to go home.

I will not be posting any photos because Layla said no. She made us all swear to not post any photos on social media before she posted hers. What the bride wants, is what the bride gets.

She was a bit of a bridezilla and her family was insufferable but hey, they live in Tennessee so I won’t be seeing them all the time. :D

Thankfully the wedding wasn’t a dry one. Alcohol is made to help people cope with being around obnoxious people. At least that’s what my cousin Jocelyn said! 😂

Anyways they just got done saying goodbyes, heard Layla shout “bye bitches” very classy, and uh yeah they’re off to their Hawaii honeymoon.

This shit was so stressful and I wasn’t even in the wedding party lmfao. I may wanna revisit the idea of an actual wedding. I’m really just quite happy to just go to a courthouse, save the money and spend a honeymoon in New Zealand lol.

Anyways I’m fucking exhausted, socially and physically. I cannot wait for Tuesday, going home that day. Back to my cozy apartment in a big ass city with my cousin. Back to my job. Back to my normal routine.
