Has any one else gotten flashbacks to og Eclipse and Lunar with the Mimic and this new ruined eclipse? The whole “taking over body and trapping the original host” thing reminds me of that, not to mention Ruin Eclipse acting like how lunar acted when he first took over Old Moons body. The silliness, the whole not taking things as serious, and of course the following orders from Mimic the way Lunar followed Eclipses

Idk I may be wrong but to me this all feels so similar to the past. Like I know they’re following orders from the puppet master, they don’t have as much autonomy, but they’re still fully following the orders given out of free will

Obviously there are a lot of differences but just in general i can’t help but feel that they’re repeating history, or at least Eclipses history

I love how Percy is genuinely like wtf when Luke says Annabeth - who’s twelve - is head counsellor so he’s under the impression that annabeth is ridiculously powerful when in reality her older cabin mates just wanted to spend their time coming up with ways to hack the government instead of assigning cabin chores

we need to talk about the fact that for many of the posters in season one, they are literally on opposite sides and/or have a dividing line between them

and now they're literally crossed over in some way for the season 2 posters

What I love about Jason Todd is that he's angry about his trauma. Life fucked him over and he's rightfully pissed off. We already have "healed from their anger" Dick Grayson and "ignores their emotions" Bruce Wayne. Thank you DC for giving us "hurt and upset and lashing out" Jason Todd.

To me, the best embodiment of modern capitalism is in the phrase "please hold, we are experiencing higher than usual call volume". I know it's a lie. You know it's a lie. But you still hear that line every time you call, regardless of the day or time, because it shifts the blame. It tries to prompt you to blame the other callers instead of asking, "Hey, why are they deliberately understaffing their call centers and making it so difficult to get help?" It takes a failing caused by a deliberate, profit-focused management choice, and turns it into a problem with the people using the system, rather than one with the system itself. And that pattern, to me, is the epitome of the modern corporate system.
