Thanks for the ask! Of course I would like to talk about it! Far warning, I went a little overboard with this and ended up info dumping but hey, you asked hehehe

Okay so, the fic is about the chain living together as roommates. I was going to do them at college but I decided I wanted to make it a little more chaotic, but I might make a different fic with them at college.

If you're asking about what will happen in the fic, honestly I don't have a set plan, lol. I'm just gonna write it as I think of it. So it's going to be a bunch of chaos, and that's what I want.

I started writing it because for some reason it became really hard to write on my main fic. So I decided to just do the first idea that came to mind, also Wind is going to be found by the dumpster and then become their roommate :)

There are some things that I made sure I knew, like I changed their ages, occupations and some interests. So I have those planned out already, but for the actual story aspect I have a few ideas but nothing set in stone just yet.

I'm really excited for this fic though, I usually write angst but this is going to be very different. I also just wanted to see if I could write things other than angst and hurt.

Thank you so much for this ask, I didn't even mean to write this much but I guess I'm just that excited! I can't really work on it for a little bit cause I'm not at my house but that won't stop me from having a load of ideas!

Philosophy question..

Do you belive in free will?

Short answer, I do and I don’t. (But I lean towards yes)

I believe in it as in I believe we all have a choice. Almost everything we are set to encounter in our lives will entail a choice, and ourselves alone just make those choices. Or in some instances, we have to choose to trust the choice others make. But in the end what we do, or don’t do all stems from a choice that we actively made. In (a lot) of cases, we freely make the choice, so in that sense, yes free will in choosing what you do.

But then, again, we’re presented the choices a lot of the time, and it’s only these choices that we’re allowed to choose from. So is that free will or is that just the option to choose? And then there’s society and it’s norms that have been constructed, deviances that aren’t accepted by society. So there’s a structure in place that we kind of have to follow so we don’t face consequences. So in that sense, our will isn’t always “free” but rather it’s free within a limit.

And then, even if we do make our own choices, sometimes we feel guilted by people we care about or we make choices for/because of them. We choose to do it, but was it freely or due to the bond you know?

I honestly don’t think there’s a clear answer to this, (I’m blaming this on my sociology prof this semester btw).

But in most cases, I would say yes. Because we are ultimately the navigators of the ship that is our life, so it does exists, and you can make your own choices, be your own person etc etc. you just need to understand sometimes there may be consequences because of the thing we call society. But hey, if you’re willing to take those chances and come to terms with it, then you still have free will over what you do without limitations right? I’m also the type to say what I think and do what I think is right. And i don’t get bothered by other’s opinions much, so to me, free will very much exists, just sometimes there teeny restrictions
