Now, onto the headcanons!💕

Damian has a sensitive stomach when it comes to eating too much junk food, since he actually grew up mainly eating healthy stuff. So whenever Jon's around and he's having a stomach ache at that moment, he will try his best to comfort Damian while he's dealing with the pain

Jon is very ticklish on his neck, so whenever him and Damian are sleeping next to eachother and Damian wakes up before him, Damian will playfully tickle and scratch under his chin (like how people do with pets) to get him up and awake with laughter. This most times causes Jon to fall out of the bed while trying to stop Damian or gets him captured in a whole tickle attack by his boyfriend before they both actually get up and ready for the day. And when hugging or cuddling Jon, sometimes Damian will also plant some kisses on his neck too just to get a few good giggles out of his boyfriend right there and if he wants, will take advantage of that moment to deliver another fun tickle attack to him

And for Damian, he's extremely ticklish and also has a big ticklish spot of his own, which is his under arms, so Jon will get him back too. Sometimes when he's hugging Damian from behind, he'll take advantage of that moment to slip his hands underneath his arms quickly and tickle him lol and then it'll turn into a tackle that Damian can't escape or just Jon playfully lifting him up in his arms instead, as he's kicking and trying to slip out somehow but failing, while Jon keeps going. Either way though, it all ends up with him going into such loud laughter, which Jon loves seeing so much. Now Damian doesn't trust him hugging him from behind anymore because of this lmaooo

Jon is an early bird....Damian is not loll. Because of this, Damian will sometimes try to keep Jon stuck with him in bed longer, even for the whole day if it's a free one for them both to actually relax without patrols or missions (and school too when they're kids). Jon, despite loving the mornings, doesn't mind usually and loves getting to cuddle up with his boyfriend whenever he can in such cozy times. He will sometimes try to get Damian to want to wake up though, since he likes them both enjoying the early day together, but will respect his sleep if he sees he really doesn't want to (and also cause he don't wanna deal with a grumpy Dami loll)

When Damian gets his long hair for a while (the one that he currently has in canon), Jon would turn it into a small braid for him whenever he let him, since it's fun for him to do and he thinks it looks cute on Damian. Damian could've gotten it cut a long time ago, but secretly he delayed it for this reason. Sometimes Damian twists and plays with the little braid too when just bored

When visiting for sleepovers, Damian sometimes pretends to forget his pj's just so that Jon will lend him his for the night instead, because he loves wearing and stealing them loll

Jon always smothers Damian in the face with many kisses and Damian will be trying to get him to stop, but will be blushing completely and secretly loves it actually lol

Jon got into Manga because of Damian growing a big interest in it now. Jon wants to be able to enjoy and talk about it with him, since he can see that he clearly loves it a lot, so he reads as many as he can and also reads the ones that Damian favorites, so that he can impress him with his knowledge about them. And whenever they're chilling together like usual, he also loves seeing Damian work on his fan made comics that are inspired by the mangas. Damian would used to try and block him from seeing them at first, but then got used to him watching, so he became comfortable and mostly got over it...until Jon one day noticed that one of the ocs known as the love interest looked pretty similar to him, then that's when there was no more permission to look anymore lolll

Jon plays songs on his guitar for Damian, even ones that he wrote himself that are dedicated just to Damian. Damian loves them and he always pays attention to listening everytime, while they're both just staring into eachother's eye's with love. Jon even showed Damian one time how to play too, guiding him with his hands while having him sit comfortably on his lap. Damian totally knew how to use it though, he just wanted to have a really nice moment with Jon like that, while having him be fooled

Damian loves playing with Jon's hair because of his fluffy, messy curls. He always put his hand through it whenever Jon is leaning his head on his shoulder or on his lap or in his arms when cuddling and Jon always feels totally relaxed from it. Sometimes Damian will randomly put some of it behind Jon's ear too, like how someone would do it to a girl, because his big bangs get in the way sometimes

Damian has tons of drawings of Jon in his sketchbooks and even doodles of him in notebooks or on random pieces of papers that he saved in folders too and this was something he did a lot before they had dated at all. He still does it and keeps them hidden from Jon, which he would usually do during their friendship too, but unknowingly to him, Jon is secretly aware of them, since he had accidentally dropped open a couple of his books one time without meaning to after bumping into his desk. He was surprised to see them and blushed a lot while observing each one, thinking it's so cute and sweet that his boyfriend loves drawing him so much. He quickly put them away with his superspeed when hearing Damian coming back though and kept it to himself ever since. He still blushes with a smile to himself whenever thinking back to it

Despite whatever Damian may think about his many hidden scars, Jon loves them because they're apart of his boyfriend and they don't make him think differently about him at all, just only add more to his beauty for him. And when he becomes much more older, he also likes placing kisses on them, especially if Damian says anything negative about them, which can get some laughs out of Damian as he's telling Jon to stop, but he does love it

Jon let's Damian draw on him a lot like he's a canvas lol, and he ends up always coming out with beautifully done "tattoos" on himself. After getting them, he'll wear tan tops and t-shirts to make them visible to everyone's eye's and proudly shows them off to his and Damian's friend group too, being like "Look what my man did. Gorgeous, isnt it?" Lolll, and they all can't help but agree with him about it all the time

When Damian had begun realizing that he had a crush on Jon, he came up with the idea to invite him over for a movie night one time, telling him he's got a new cool film that they can watch together, but it was actually a horror movie that he purposely put on so that Jon could get scared and would want him to be near him the whole time for protection. It worked and Damian was very pleased with it turning out exactly how he wanted. He wanted to recreate that experience again, so then he got the idea to start challenging them both to watching even more scary movies together or else Jon would be proving himself to be a total "Scaredy cat" he would say, which Jon ofc denied about being everytime, leading him to accepting the challenges just to not seem like a wuss, not realizing he's falling perfectly for his traps everytime loll. Overtime, Jon later began recognizing the patterns of all of this though, but decided to continue acting as if he was still naive to it, since he did love the fact that this gave him so much chances to cuddle up with Damian whenever. Overtime in the future though, when they're both more older, they just get totally distracted with eachother instead when watching horror films and just end up cuddling and falling asleep together like it's not even on playing lolll

Jon loves taking so many selifies of him and Damian together loll and he even has sooo many of them on his phone already too. And sometimes he also surprises Damian whenever he just immediately takes one without warning, like for example, instantly pulling him into a random tight hug, snapping the photo, then giving him a quick kiss to the cheek and leaving him alone lol

Damian doesn't like sharing his food, but Jon is one of the only few that convinces him to do it somehow lol. When they began dating, he didn't feel comfortable sharing the same utensils, straws, or drinking and eating out of the same foods either, but now he's so used to it in their relationship and doesn't care so much anymore. And whenever Jon eagerly asks for a bite of something from his plate, he just simply feeds some of it to him too with his fork or spoon, even though he tells him he feels like he's feeding a baby lol and needs to just use his own to pick from him instead, but doesn't really mean it

They both always take care of eachother when they're sick. And thanks to Jon's Kryptonian side, he can be around Damian comfortably as much as he wants to be without worrying about getting anything easily, unlike Damian who has to make sure to be well protected from any germs Jon would have from his cold, like wearing a mask and gloves and using sanitizers to keep himself and certain items touched by Jon clean lol. It also doesn't help when Jon wants to still keep kissing him anyways, so he has to remind his boyfriend that he has to wait until he gets better again, even though he himself really wants to kiss him back too

Jon really likes booping Damian's nose a lot loll. And when Damian wouldn't expect it so much before, Jon would boop it while happily saying "Boop!" and then quickly smooch him on the lips, making Damian go instant red all over the face, and then fly away while giggling about it before Damian tried to catch up to him loll

They both got used to eachothers music tastes, even though they weren't so into them at first. When Damian first showed Jon his playlist of favorite rock and metal songs (which he canonly listens to in Arabic), Jon was surprised and his ears couldn't take the loudness of them (because of superhearing not letting him totally control it at times), but tried to enjoy it with Damian anyways, since he knows that's just his taste and is just glad he wants to share it with him. Now he's more comfortable with it and cuddles up on a bed with Damian most times, while sharing the headsets with him to listen to every one of them. And then for Jon, he would just shamelessly play country music around Damian a lot out loud on radios or on his phone and Damian just wasn't so very fond of it before lol, but now it's grown on him and he sometimes listens to it by himself, even while drawing, and is always reminded of his boyfriend whenever he hears country songs playing anywhere. That last one also applies to Jon as well whenever he hears metal or rock playing somewhere and also sees bands with that taste

Jon also grew a temporary addiction to metal and rock songs for a while when having an emo phase in his teenage years lmaoo, which gave Damian the wonderful chance of hyperfixiating with him even more about them lolll. And despite loving Jon's brighter self, Damian was also actually very into this side of him as well while it had still lasted during that time haha

Most times Damian tippy toes just to reach Jon for kisses, but Jon will also bend down for the same reason

They both took the time to learn eachothers languages from their respective cultures to surprise one another and show the other how much they care by doing that

They both also merged Arabic and Kryptonise together and now have their own special language that only they both know and communicate with eachother

Sometimes Jon goes on long, happy rambles about science and Damian will just let him, listening to every word he has to say, even if he already does know most facts about the subject himself, understanding it's just a passionate one for Jon. He teases Jon about being such a nerd sometimes because of this loll, but it's just another thing he actually loves about him

Wanting to be a sweet boyfriend, Jon would make Damian surprise baked goods like, sugar cookies, muffins, pasteries, and other yummies, since he likes treating him like that. He gets help from both Lois and Ma since they know what they're doing, which he appreciates, and they always come out well like he hopes with their assistance. And overtime he begins learning more on his own, later becoming independently better at it. Damian really likes these gifted desserts a lot and after some time of getting used to receiving them, he becomes delighted whenever he sees Jon with them now

When they're both adults and living together, Jon LOVES the delicious Arabic meals that Damian cooks from his culture. They don't get made daily, but when they do, it's always like a great day for Jon whenever he finds out and he stays excited just thinking about dinner time arriving. He'll even try helping Damian out with cooking it to make things easier and quicker, but after some past incidents, Damian doesn't trust him not messing it up while he's already working hard on it, so he'll be like "NO, get out of my kitchen and sit with the pets." While pushing Jon out, who's chuckling like "Hey! OUR kitchen you mean." Lmaoo. When they're finally done and served, it's like a wonderful dream for Jon when eating it. Then afterwards he's being all affectionate with Damian, like he's showing his appreciation for the meal, and Damian can't help but let out little laughs from it, while being like "You're cleaning all the dishes." and then Jon just happily floats with them all in his hand and leaves to the kitchen being like "Yes, Sir.<3" after giving his boyfriend a quck kiss on the lips. And another thing is that these meals are so good to Jon, he might just love them even more than his dear noodles lolll

When they both finally announced to their respective parents and families that they are dating, they started getting rules from them and everyone else who's older about keeping their doors open from now on whenever the other is visiting over and they're both having sleepovers with eachother now. The boys are immediately blushing and let out groans while trying to protest against it, not wanting to lose their privacy, and flusteredly say nothings gonna even happen (and nothing ever does ofc), but are left at a loss when Talia and Lois tell them there is no arguing this one down at all and that's that lolll. Sometimes members of the Superfam will joke that they better be up to nothing, since they'll be able to hear and see anything, which really annoys the boys everytime and causes them to throw things at them in response as they're yelling for them to leave the room and stop bothering already loll. And Batfam members really tease them both whenever they catch the door closed, by pushing it open and giving the reminder about the rule and then act all very nosey about what they doing, which gets them kicked out fast by Damian getting up and shoving them out of there, using whatever force he has in his strength loll

Jon's birthday is on June 1st and Damian's is on August 9th, so they are both summer babies

When they get married in the future as adults, I imagine them both hyphening their last names together in this order "Al Ghul-Wayne-Kent"

Some of these are pretty common enough for everyone, but I still wanna share mines anyways:

For nicknames they give eachother as a couple, besides canon ones like "Hayseed", "Corncob", and "Farmboy" from Damian, as a boyfriend he calls Jon Habibi, Beloved (which are both habits taken from Talia), Love, Sunshine, Sunflower, and Supernerd (cause of Jon being so into science lol)

And Jon calls him Baby, Babe, Honey (canon hehehe), Pumpkin, Shorty, Pookie just to be funny sometimes, Honeybun, Hotcakes (as in "hottie" lol and cause it's also fitting for whenever he gets mad, like "hotheaded"), and Dame and Dami still because he knows what those two really mean now loll

A sad one, but...when they both get old together, Damian goes first since he's human, while Jon lives for much longer because of his Kryptonian side still letting him with the slower aging and also giving him healthy, on going strength as if he's still young. Jon mourns a lot over him and never let's go of the things that belonged to his Husband. They all remind him of Damian too much to just get rid of, like for example the dark and green sweaters having his familiar scent still whenever he hugs them for comfort, the novels and old mangas letting him enjoy what Damian did and feel small joy like he's reading them with him by his side just like how he used to, the sword and old hero suit both giving him so much big memories back from when they were both still in the Superhero business as younger adults, and each of the drawings from the many sketchbooks of his feeling precious with all the love and dedication put into every one of them, including the many lovely portraits done by Damian of himself as well from over the years. He even looks through their old childhood photos too, remembering all the good times they've had for so long while growing up and places the most heartwarming one on his nightstand in a frame to always look at it. I also like to headcanon that he wants something to occupy his time again, due to feeling lonely without Damian, so he goes back into superheroing with their daughter Nadja (my oc who's an adult by this point), after retiring with Damian years ago when they both felt it was time, and uses Damian's sword in his combat as a way to honor him

Now for some fluff to heal that, Clark and Lois both love ice cream soda and would used to go on dates in the past as young adults to have them together. Now that they're married and have a family, they bring the kids along with them to their favorite diner to also enjoy it with them too, making it a fun family outing for them all. Because of this, Jon now also takes Damian out a lot to the same diner to have ice cream soda as a treat on their own dates, wanting to recreate what his parents used to do back then for themselves, since he believes it's sweet. And in the future as married adults, when they have Nadja, it then becomes like a nice family thing for them as well as if it's become a little passed down tradition for them too now

Damian loves wearing Jon's Superboy hoodie and using it as a way to visually say to others "He's mine", but it's the one clothing that he can't actually steal lol, so he always convinces Jon to take it off for him once they're off patrol duty, and Jon does it because he doesn't mind his Bae using it at all and thinks it's adorable whenever he puts it on, looking so small in it because of how baggy it is on him like any other outfit of his that he takes loll

Annnnnd I think these are all of them that I have for now lol

Agnes Montague, the villain Phoenix :33

I used a stained glass filter on this one, looove how it looks. Also here are a few versions without as much editing so you can see the details.

Agnes is one of my favorites in this AU. And in general too I guess lol. So I made her entirely too overpowered! She's obviously based off Dark Phoenix/Jean Grey/The Phoenix from Xmen. Without as much of the hero-turned-villain vibes Jean has, Agnes can be nice but she's mostly a wrong-doer.

I'd probably say she's the most powerful super-human in the 'verse, or at least where the story takes place. Her and Magnus are buddy-buddies because. Um. I just want them to be.

So, her powers, right. She can control and

produce fire, lots of it. She can fly. The wings only appear when she wants them to btw. I think she has some form of telekinesis, sure why not plus I don't have a lot of people like that in the verse (and I'm quickly running out of canon characters anyways loool). I don't think I'll give her too many psychic powers? Maybe just some ability to block psychic attacks. Oh well nevermind lets just make her cooler let's say she can attack people psychically, as in not quite read their thoughts (even if I think she could grasp on some of the things you're thinking while she's there) but like, cause intense pain to her victim and maybe even kill them by hitting them with her mind.

Her hands are more like talons or claws, with tough nails and strong, too. She can rip someone's face off or hold herself up with them.

The nature of her powers make them somewhat incontrollable and ill-suited for precision work or limiting damage/casualties.

Despite all of that, Agnes is very tired and looks as such. Her abnormal body warmth makes her sleep poorly and not very much, if she isn't setting the room on fire or throwing objects around when she's having nightmares. She holds off from getting intoxicated in any way because she might level off the whole island if she did.

And the cherry on the cake... She can ressurect herself. AND others. Let the holy cleansing fire engulf you and be reborn anew with your sins scrubbed clean yadda yadda you know the deal. It resets people to a younger age and cures any ailment they have, so that's a rather extreme form of healing too if you will.

Naturally, with that sort of powers the Cult Of The Lightless Flame (named like that because Agnes hoggs all the light) treats her as a goddess. Which isn't that far from the truth actually.

Suffice to say in the story she is not the big bad our heroes have to take down because that would be straight-up impossible.

Design notes and misc:

-I usually imagine her with dark hair, but for this AU she really just had to be a redhead I feel.

-Yes, in the art she doesn't have feet but that's just because I got lazy.

-She wears practical gloves, a guilded shiny supersuit, impractical shoulder pads and a white flowy skirt and shoulder sash that both get set on fire very frequently. This is meant to evoke how she mostly doesn't care or need to be dressing appropriately for fighting, she's too powerful to need to.

-She doesn't carry anything on herself either, no pockets no bags no nothing, she has goons for that. She's just there to look impressive and deus ex machina everyone's asses to the ground if they get too annoying.

-She's lived a long life, done a lot, was in the military at some point which influenced a lot of how she thinks. Again, she CAN be unfrivolous and practical, she just doesn't want to and has to remain a symbol. She can shoot a gun pretty well.

-Her "crown" (it's a paper crown) is something children that admired her gave her. She's very very careful not to burn it, but can't wear it everywhere either

-She's not much of a strategizer or a long-term planner unlike Magnus, she just doesn't see the point in that and she already has everything she could ever want. She could have the potential to rule the city instead of having everyone vaguely follow her lead, but she's just not much of a tyrant.

Oh, yeah, and Jude. Jude Perry is Agnes' right hand woman and closest friend, her villain name is Lampadarius and she can make anything that isn't organic matter melt/heat up (like those cans in MAG012: First Aid). One of her favorite tricks is heating up her gloves and burning people like that. It pisses her off when you call her Agnes' guard dog. She's been ressurected a few times by the Phoenix, so been around for a while too.

Hey so your post about pain management as a bedside nurse is so important to my own nursing practice that I've considered printing it out so I can have it to hand all the time. So thanks for that. Also, how do you deal with assignments that are busy enough that pain management is harder than it should be? I'm coming up on two years as a nurse and I feel like I take it personally when I am too busy to adequately manage my patients pain. I'm also coming from a newly unionized hospital where the ratios are still horrendous (I do 1:10 on med surg) and I'm hoping once we can enforce our staffing grids it'll be better but idk I'm burning out and I love my job so much and I really respect your nursing philosophy? I guess. Sorry for the word vomit it's been a crazy shift.

I've been trying to think of how to answer this since I got it. It's just such a horrendous ratio. With ten patients a shift, that's like six minutes an hour for each in a fantasy world where there's no charting and everything is exactly where you need it to be. I feel like I don't have great insight into this because the most med surg patients I've had assigned is five. Ten patients to one nurse is just a raw deal for everyone. Like christ no wonder you feel like you're burning out! I'll give you what thoughts I have and hopefully other people can chime in if they have suggestions. But that's such a hard patient load.

When I've been super swamped, I've found that's when being really explicit about your thinking with the patient helps. Like if I have to dash into a room and then dash back out, I'll make sure the board is updated with the next medication time and that the patient knows when the medication is going to kick in. I'll also provide call light parameters. I have a lot of success telling people, "the med should be doing something by 5:30. If I haven't checked in with you by then, and the pain is unchanged or barely changed, hit your call light and we'll try the next step. Also hit your call light if you feel any sudden change, like now you're nauseated or you have a headache or the type of pain changes or something just feels very wrong. Is there anything you need before I step out of the room?"

I like to be explicit about when to call me because I think there's two directions call light usage can go wrong: someone calls all the time, or someone never calls. With someone who calls all the time, I find that telling them when I'll be back and that I want them to call me if I'm not takes away some of that anxiety that can causes some people to call frequently. Often those patients are afraid that if they aren't on the call light, they're gonna get ignored.

For the other type of patient, the one that doesn't call, I want to make explicit that it's GOOD AND NORMAL TO CALL YOUR NURSE WHEN YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS. We've all had that patient at the end of shift who goes, "btw the gnawing pain in my leg is now a 10/10" and you're like "what gnawing pain sir?? you've literally never mentioned it before now?? I don't have any meds for that lemme page super quick????" These patients can get into pain crises easily because they don't ask for help until something is unbearable. In addition to pain crisis bad, it takes a lot more time to deal with something unbearable than it does to deal with something uncomfortable.

On that note, are you spending your very limited time efficiently? To me, that actually means spend more time talking with patients, at least up front. Manage expectations, make sure people know what to expect. Having conversations with patients that are like, "You just had surgery, it's not gonna happen that we get you completely painless. We want to get you to a manageable pain level that allows you to do whatever it is you most want to do this shift." (For me on nights, that's usually sleeping at least a little, but sometimes the realistic goal you make together is that you will feel at some point better than you feel right now.) "You have this medication scheduled, and you have this one available every X hours when your pain is severe. Is there anything you know that helps you deal with pain?"

Also establish if patients want to be woken up for certain prn medications or if they're sleeping, to let them sleep. With some patients, I will advise them to get woken up for pain medication because I know that they're going to need consistent control to avoid a crisis. (Crises take so much time!)

When I'm crunched for time, I'm fond of bringing in an ice pack and being like "if it works, great, if it doesn't, just take it off, either way here it is." Sometimes I'll do the same with a warm blanket. If I know my patient needs to take pills, I'll bring a cup of water with me into the room. If there's a basic prn like melatonin or tylenol that I think they might want, I'll pull them in advance. If the patient doesn't want them, I return them next time I'm in the med room. (Obviously, don't do this with controlled substances. It's super easy to forget to return them, and not returning opioids is one of those whoopsies people get fired over.)

Decision making takes time. Walking to go get stuff takes time. I want to save the time it takes to assess if the patient needs those things and then walk off to fetch them by just having the things already. If your tightest resource is time, be liberal with resources you can spare. If you're stuck with a patient, do you have anyone you can delegate a prn med pass to? Do you know how to do the absolute minimum charting you need to? Do you have flushes and alcohol wipes and whatever other most common things you need? And since you can't hoard time, if you've got some to spare, ask yourself if there is anything you can do now that will save you time later. If you have five free minutes now and an incontinent patient, getting them up to the bathroom now can save you from taking the time for incontinence care and a bed change later on when they've also sundowned and decide they hate everything but most of all you.

So much of this answer I realize is investing as much time upfront as you can, which I realize is so hard when you are so busy. It sucks immensely that prepping takes much less time than not being prepared does when you don't always have time to prep. Plus when you invest that time to pain plan with patients and do small preventative interventions, I think it also provides some psychological comfort that helps with pain. You're letting them know you're invested and you care and you have a plan, even if you don't have all the time you'd like. That can mean better pain control, which can mean needing to spend less time in that room overall, meaning you can save six whole minutes at some point and maybe even, if we're feeling crazy, get a chance to indulge in that greatest of indulgences: just a real leisurely on-shift piss.

It seems though the momentum on this event has slowed down and I think it's mostly due to the fact that it's so drawn out and so far there's nothing really "exciting" happening.

But that seems to be the case with these events like the hype is high the first two to three days and after it's like s p l o o t.

I think if this was a Amy only event and the card had an adore mode people would be more excited about it.

But that's just my ramblings forgive me.

So we're back with Sitri being on his BS when seeing Amy at any given moment lol But before this they were just staring at each other quietly again like my favorite gif that ya'll often see.

but if i'm being honestly Sitri and I have the same brain cell here because I can't stand other's hot ass breath on me even if it doesn't smell bad because why??? are??? you this damn close???

So Amy ofc tells Sitri that he's breathing like that because he's hurt. Fair but this man don't give a shit lol

He goes over to him to access the damage I assume because it turns out even though the forest is torn up there's more angel bodies dead than devil bodies. They remained victorious.

I love how Amy's subordinates are always worried about him and it shows solidarity for their leader. But yeah Sitri also has this thing about him where he shows care for everyone else except the person he dislikes this being Amy.

first of all, Amy is adorable. I just wanna tap his booba and tell him he's doing great.

Sitri gets pissed off though because it's the exact same thing he told him when he arrived a few days back when he had to save that devil boy from his commando unit. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he had this one coming. An eye for an eye basically and Amy came and showed out.

So a couple things about this.

Remember what they said about him here, not usually being foul-mouthed and foul-tempered for a bit. You'll see where I'm getting at later.

Second. This is the pronoun thing I was referring to, which now has me thinking that maybe Sitri didn't mean "her" on day 6 and that was possibly just a mistake on the translating/writing part.

Though I am still wondering what incident caused him to be very angry back then where he had to smack himself back to reality to keep from focusing on it.

And while this little interaction is going on, the devils around them are gossiping about how Sitri and Amy always found time to fight each other even in situations like this.

But I think they forgot the part where Sitri can fucking hear them lmaooo because he was quietly stewing in annoyance by the entire thing, so much he had to think about when he and Amy first met.

So this was centuries ago, and it's wild because I'm like wait it's been that long for them holy shit my life is fleeting because to me a decade blinking by is so long.

A bit of lore about Satan btw, this was a time where he barely had an army, so it must have been he first came into power as a king. (we really need that backstory honestly) And went around scouting for willing participants even neighboring countries.

They also bring up that devils who saw him traveling around decided to join because they loved his energy.

When I think about this it's wild that Satan had to foot for his own army. This leads me to believe Gehenna was low due to the amount of deaths, or perhaps something happened with the previous king that caused this.

Either way, the babes did his thing and now he's got more than enough helping him during the battles. Picturing him recruiting folks though is cute because I imagine he's a great motivational speaker or just "hey join me btw" and it just works.

So the instructors didn't even notice Sitri because well in their defense they hadn't seen him yet. So of course they see this pretty, "slender" looking devil show up with his hair all nice and pushed back and is just like "aye so???"

He introduces himself and then that's when everyone starts acting accordingly and seeing him as a superior. But I mean that's why he was nice about it anyway because to him, they should be wary of someone they hadn't seen before and Gehenna needs that type of energy.

So now that we're in day 8 there's a few things I wanted to point out. One of them being the breadcrumb here that Hades had a fully formed solid military. That means...Leviathan is either the same age as Satan or a bit older, or he is younger than him but he's just better efficient with managing devils with his strict ass.

Sitri though see's Satan's army as an advantage. Because the Gehenna devils are flexible and free but also disciplined. That leads me to believe that it's only really fear and power that Leviathan uses to make sure that everyone in his military doesn't fuck things over. It makes sense, given Levi doesn't really have a carefree personality. There's too much trauma in there for him to break down that wall.

So while Sitri was daydreaming about his plans for leading Satan's army...someone...i think we know who fucking spits in his direction...

Now the reason he's pulling this face again is because he stepped into the spit. And I'm sitting here like ?????? I get it.

Again, like imagine just minding your business and someone just hacks a fucking loogie on the ground and you step in it. With your good shoes at that.

But now we're really starting to see the meat and potatoes of their dynamic. Sitri actually started it and ran with it. He saw the spit as disrespect and intentional when Amy sees it as "this dude fucking spit on me now we have beef"

So they're having this little interaction of Amy trying to punch Sitri, and because Sitri's ability to hear his heart and his muscles swell before he makes the movement he can dodge him without problem. But Amy is robust and not clumsy so he doesn't do the comical falling forward thing most of us see in cartoons.

Sitri is annoyed though because he sees the potential in Amy and his talent, he simply just doesn't like that attitude and sees it as a problem.

This is definitely Levi vibes.

So the next time Amy goes for him, he actually trips him so he falls. And it ends there.

My Candy Love New Gen ep. 4 Review

Here I am after finishing the last episode of MCL New Gen ready to give my honest and unasked opinion about it. Fasten your seatbelts cause we are about to start and i'm not gonna be gentle

LET'S TALK ABOUT IT...

So the episode opens with Elenda who's basically trying to drag us so bad to the Cosey Bear because apparently Castiel was serving there ( No judgement toward Elenda, i wanted to see my husband too). Unfortunately for me and her, he already had left when we showed up to the Cafe. >3>.

Seeing Lynn animated was so cute and a little bit nostalgic but nothing compared to the GASP I emitted when she started talking to Thomas and he told her he was in love with her. GEEEEZ, now i get why that kid was a pain in the ass and RUINED my pic-nic date with Tomato head, THE DOTS CONNECTED. Btw it was a very cute scene and a tribute to Iris that I hope she will show up in Thomas' route.

Moving on, inspired by Thomas' love confession, everybody starts talking about their love life (expected since the episode's name is hearts looking for love). And this is where things went horribly cringe and outrageous: Ofc i'm not talking about Elenda and Devon ( It was cute to know that she had a crush on Devon and, about him, a little peak to where the story is possibly going to lead - a busy man that works his ass off so bad for Devenementiel and has no time to date)or Amanda but about ROY and BRUNE.

Hoooooly shit, the chill of second hand embarassment that I got just by reading the interractions between these two was undescribable I swear( Elenda became basically my guide spirit: her reaction was the same i had. ). Everything was so outofcontext and nonsense that I'm actually wondering why Beemov decided it was a great idea to give space to something so....childish? I mean, we're talking about (almost) 30yo people.. and they got together because they were...desperate??????? - "Yeah with my exes things weren't doing good so we decided to date even tho we don't talk, don't touch and fell uncomfortable with each other" - COOOME ON, BFR, you guys ok? Also, I really hope that we're gonna discover something deeper about Roy (or that he's going to get a development at least) that makes him more that what i can pick up and feel from him right now: childish Gymrat fixed on pool that give us nothing. I'm genuine deluded about the way they handled this.

Moving on to JASON PART. He basically shows up when we're still talking sitted by the table. I was obviously expecting the part where he was going to be pointed out as a "womanizer" but what I DID NOT EXPECT was the reaction he had when he overhears our conversation: I felt him being sarcastic as usual but at the end i felt he was kinda....hurt??? idk if you get what i mean, he literally said he had REASONS why he doesn't want to be in full term relationship and this opens my mind to an INFINITE AMOUNT OF THEORIES

Connected to what I've read on some theories here, someone said it's because of the condition ( or the pathology) that made his hair go white...

This is a really good point but I genuine think about something else that is connected to this and the SHOCK NUMBER 2: Why Devenementiel hates Jason so much?

Apparently our "proud and superior" man with an incredible fragile ego had PLAGIARIZED the project the would have helped Devon to found Devenementiel and, because of that, he was fired and disqualified by the contest. So...first things first: PIECE OF SHIT. Secondly, I genuine would have never thought about him doing something like this and that's the reason why i don't think he did it because he wanted to but perphaps he WAS PUSHED to do so.

Another theorie said that probably he was helped by a third person that played dirty and suggested him the same project Devon did

And I have to admit that this is something very likely, but stil don't really convince me too much.

We can clearly see that Jason has a lot of money, A LOT, and by the way he has so much money i'm assuming he comes from a family that at least has the same amount of capital he has now. We got told that he was basically working as an employer (if i remember correctly) so why trying to steal something from others if you are satisfied and don't need a job? perhaps because you NEED that first place to REDEEM yourself and PROVE someone wrong at least so that.. THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS. That's where his family and the white hair make their part: A Dad Ceo that basically disgraced his Son because he couldn't follow or keep up with the family business or - he wasn't good enough- for the role ( and that's why the white hair, because of the stress) . Another thing that might prove this is the fact that Devon told us that he had "private investors" and...i mean, if you're broke, i don't think you can find them just by snapping your fingers and make them appear in front of you, especially when you get fired and disqualified in a competition. He could have use the "family" name and hi charisma to persuade the investors to help him found Goldreamz. And THIS leads me to the last point: Why no long term relationship? Because his family has to end with him and he's scared of the consequences that a partner can have in his life. This reminded me so much Simon from Bridgerton btw. So yeah...I might be wrong (99%) but i want to think that he's a piece of shit just because he's hurt.

His special scene was normal i guess, i love the way my candy was looking at the instagram photos be like - "i'm just studying the enemy...not doing something wrong..maybe".

In the end i decided to try for the Thomas illustration and nothing to complain about, the scene was genuine one of the most cute one in the game so fare and the ilusstration 10/10 chef's kiss and handshake by the president.

Aw, thank you, Nonnie!

So this is something I think about a lot as I have a fucked up back. Fortunately, I have a really good group of drs so I've been able to go longer and longer without a flair up, but when I'm incapacitated on my couch, thinking of how these guys would react brings me so much comfort.

I think most of the boys would be really understanding and helpful. But let's get into it! HCs below the cut :)

Hunter may be able to sense acutely when you have a bad day before you even notice the symptoms (those heightened senses strike me like the way medical alert dogs can sense a seizure coming on in their human). His first instinct is to hold you against him, but he holds off until he ensures you are in the most comfortable place, your environment is perfect for what you need, and you have any medication needed. Then he'll wrap around you and do what he can to make you feel better. IDK why, but I feel like he'd gently hum a little tune as he holds you, literally trying anything and everything to soothe you. If he can't take away the physical pain, he can make damn sure you feel cared for.

Wrecker is also someone who's gonna try and cuddle you through an episode. If that's something that helps you, you'll be in heaven. He'll literally make a nest for you and bring you all the snacks. If your condition comes with muscle pain, he'll give you the most gentle and soothing massage. He will get that sad look in his eyes, though. Personally, I like seeing my partner care but I know some people don't like to feel pitied so if that's you, you may need to have a conversation with him. Similarly, if physical contact isn't helpful for you, you'll have to let him down gently. Best to give him something else to do - like help with the responsibilities you can't do - because Wrecker really doesn't like feeling as if he can't help.

Tech is going to learn everything about your condition itself. And I mean everything. He'll become the (secret) preeminent expert on your condition if he has to - and he'll very much believe he has to because frankly he doesn't trust previous doctors who told you this was just a condition you'll have to live with. You have to have a few talks with him that his insistence on trying new approaches to "cures" isn't helpful when you're having a flair up, and that while you love the intention behind it, you need him to either help you in the moment or leave it to you. That sobers him up a bit. But he mostly just puts the "cure" search on the backburner and focuses more on finding the optimal remedies for your symptoms in the moment. He won't really cuddle with you unless you expressly ask but he absolutely will bring his datapad into the room and research/work by your bedside so he can monitor your progress. He'll wake you every few hours to give you more medicine and make sure you stay hydrated.

Echo also studies up on your condition, but unlike Tech, he only cares about remedies. He'll run his findings by Tech, but generally trusts the literature regarding mitigating symptoms. If you find something that works better than other remedies, he's a stickler about making sure you have access to that remedy at all times. He's a big believer in being prepared. He may have some small treats for you, but he'd prefer to have nutritionally balanced food for you during a flair up to give your body everything it needs to get through this and recover. He usually doesn't cuddle with you, preferring to give you the space you need to settle in and recover. But he will be touching you constantly - caressing your head or arm - and talking softly with you if you're up for it.

Crosshair doesn't like admitting your condition scares him. You've explained it's not fatal or anything but it does cause you pain on the regular. And he doesn't like how matter of fact you are when you tell him you experience pain strong enough to put you out of commission with enough regularity that you have a plan for what to do when it happens. He knows you're not a complainer and you tend to push yourself, so for something to knock you out means it's serious. He feels useless and weak at not being able to help in what he feels is a meaningful way.

At first, he'll pull away, selfishly hiding from the sight of you in pain because he doesn't want to confront it. But if he does see you struggling or if he hears you in pain/call his name, he'll be right at your side. You need him. You asked for him. He won't leave you alone again. It'll take him a bit to figure out little tricks to helping you/making you feel better, but eventually he'll get into a rhythm. And woe be to anyone who crosses your path if you have a flair up in public - Crosshair is very much a shoot/punch first ask if they were a threat to you (in act or attitude) later.

501st Boys

Jesse, and Fives are going to learn all they can about the best way to make you feel better not through research but literally by quizzing you. They try asking the first time they see you in an acute flair up and realize those questions will have to wait until you're feeling a little better. And by quiz, I mean these guys prove why ARCs are made different. They'll get down into the minute details. The next time you feel your pain coming on, they'll make sure the environment is perfect for you to rest - as dark and quiet as you need, with all the water and snacks you could possibly want. And they'll totally give you snacks you want that'll make you feel better emotionally more than good for you snacks. If they can stay, they'll bring you bring you fresh, cool towels to drape over your forehead or ice packs/heating packs for your muscles every 30 minutes. Both feel like failures when they have to leave you during an episode.

Between the two, Jesse definitely relies on his humor and tries to keep you talking (if it doesn't hurt you more) to get you through this, and you love that he treats you like normal, that there's no pity in his eyes. But for Fives, this is a situation where he actually gets quiet, lowering his energy to give you the space to rest up.

Kix is, like Tech, going to do all the research. Unlike Tech, Kix has access to military-grade medical facilities. And he WILL use them to get a thorough understanding not just of your condition, but how your body handles the condition. He hates to see you in pain, and it's a negotiation with him as to how much medication you want/need as if Kix had his way, he'd just stick you in a bacta tank each flair up to minimize your pain and any damage ... which obviously isn't practical. Also, there's no "Maybe I can push through it, this flair up feels manageable." The moment Kix knows you're feeling symptoms, you're in the medbay. You'll also find the smallest of treats next to your bed when you wake up.

Dogma similarly, tolerates no negotiation. Sure, you've been dealing with your condition for a while, but if you're not following dr.'s or Kix's orders to the letter, he will make you. I feel like Dogma is incredibly passionate and feels deeply, and he will not risk your health or well being, even if you ask him to just trust you. Eventually, you need a mediation with Kix so Dogma gives you a little room to breathe. Like Wrecker, it helps to give Dogma things to do while you have a flair up so he feels like he's helping. He'll bring you everything you need and then go tidy up your living space or do your paperwork on your behalf or just general errands you need to run. Acts of service is his love language anyway, so this is a system that works really well for you both.

Rex hates that he can't always be with you during a flair up. He literally has a list of people you can call (in order of those he trusts the most to take care of you) if you need assistance. But you've come up with a code to message to his datapad in case he can't be there. If he gets your message, he'll excuse himself as quickly as possible to call you and just talk you through the worst of your flair up and ask if you need someone to be with you.

If he can be there, you won't find a more attentive and gentle person to nurse you through. He'll make sure you're settled and have everything you need and he'll talk you through it until you fall asleep. Then, he'll straighten up your living space and make some food for you for when you wake up. When you do, he'll give you a small portion to start with and hold you against him when you're done.

Tup will run you the most perfect bath ever. Water at the perfect temperature, no harsh smells in case that makes things worse. He helps you get settled then starts helping you wash. And by helping I mean he refuses to let you do anything for yourself. Getting your hair washed by Tup is a spiritual experience and something that, even if your pain persists, reenergizes your soul. He'll dry you gently with the fluffiest towels and then settles you in your room with all your comforts. He's another who will sit by your side until you feel better and he'll cuddle on request if it won't hurt you more.

Why fruk? All they do is fight!!! That's exhausting and toxic

I know I took a long time to reply to this but I wanted to have time for it.

There are many reasons, from the usual rivals to lovers to the doomed lovers and gravitational forces that keep clashing to the lovely reason of face family (children), but I'll admit, I don't think face family is a thing. While I do love it, I don't think it's realistic at all in nation aus, they're too young and focused on ambitions and other matters; besides, they'd never join to raise the kids because France is not a parent, only when kids are older and interesting; England mellowed to kids with age, but he was a brat himself, America was the one pulling the strings like only a child does, tbh. 

I could give you many reasons, from their personalities to the fact that there's not a single soul that knows them better than the one who witnessed all your failures and victories, but I decided to address the point you make about it being exhausting.

It is, but at the same time, it's invigorating.

As someone who comes from a house of maniacs who always fought, I'll admit I don't understand it that well sometimes, but there's a point to be made here, and that is: love is not enough.

These two are really good to showcase this point because they do love and hate each other like no one else, and that's not enough. I think that's the main appeal of this ship tbh.

Their love is not enough to be together, not enough to be apart, not enough to ignore the other, and not enough to lower their guard and properly try. And isn't that the most humane and real fact? I do gravitate towards them in all the ways they're portrayed because of it. You can make them sweet, you can make them less proud, and you can make them human and fragile, but in the end, they're who they are and will always fight. But while they do fight a lot, they are used to it; they're desensitised to it, even if it looks toxic or abusive. They have a mutual understanding that no one—them included—can understand properly, but it works for them, which is enough to make them crave this push-pull relationship.

They are ancient, they are used to a certain level of cruelty, and their morals are flexible. Besides,  they have thick skin and don't care about certain words or violence. They are and always will be opposites, that's how they operate, their role in the world, and how they feel comfortable acting, because that's what built their identities up and carved their name in history.

(BTW if their hate was really deep and vicious, they would use Canada and America against each other, and the lack of shippers of frus and engcan tells me that maybe people do get that deep down they don't hate each other.)

They're also sadomasochistic in complementary ways. They both enjoy causing each other pain.

As I see it, France is more of an emotional sadomasochist; he finds real pleasure in humiliating people, and tears can be aphrodisiac in beautiful individuals, so it's a treat when he can't wrap someone in his fingers, and England doesn't give him that pleasure. He also enjoys feeling pain; he is that one individual who abides by the rule that the most pleasure can only be obtained with a certain amount of pain, and he does love teasing but can't handle it himself. Who else can fulfil his inner desires? Even those he will never admit he has? England will because he sees who he really is underneath his well-made web. England can make him feel his own poison, and as much as it's infuriating, it makes him addicted to more, and he won't deny himself that pleasure. (No pleasure goes to waste for that guy)

England craves something more physical and cathartic, so he enjoys when the other presses and doesn't give up when he doesn't give them the pleasure of showing his pain (he is too proud, really). He also has a sharp tongue that hurts people without his intent, so he needs someone who loves himself enough to not break with his vitriolic words (France loves himself too much to believe his words). England also enjoys hurting and being hurt; it can be relieving and usually clears his mind, as little does. Besides, it's a win-win situation because France also looks his best trying to contain his tears at his feet and is amazing at teasing England until he breaks down without taking advantage because he prides himself on being a good lover above all, even his own desires sometimes, which can be reassuring to someone as jaded as England.

There's also the fact that he does enjoy playing the game. England enjoys mental games, and this is pretty much an even one; sometimes he breaks, sometimes France breaks, which will never cease to be a motivator to keep it up despite that nasty fact that France enjoys reasons to do things, emotions, and all that crap. France is invested; he finds it fascinating in several ways and longs to be the one to really understand England or make him fall for him, whichever comes first (he lacks self-awareness sometimes for such a self-proclaimed wise nation). And England is, underneath all his bitterness, a little romantic, so he quite enjoys being pursued, so why not? At least the frog is one of the best-looking nations, despite his many flaws. (I will admit I don't really portray England as tsundere as the anime makes him but the fact still is that he will never be open about his desires, will never be dovey and sweet as France wished him to be but France kind of grew to like that part of him too, despite not being cute)

I could also add the fact that they're both dominant. That's another point of contempt but also complimentary; I'm simply in love with the idea that they switch up and France is that annoying dominant bottom who uses England as he wishes, not really realising that England quite likes being used like that (cough, cough, English vices). They never win with each other because they end up unwillingly giving each other reasons to keep up.

France calls it fate, England his curse. Either way, they'll always be connected by history, geography, and even humanity.

I rambled my way around the point, but the thing is, they enjoy this game, (It's their game) and yes, it can be tiresome.

Sometimes they really need to step out and give it a rest, but they're both confident enough to know it's temporary. They'll cool down when things get too bad and then call each other to gossip about something and find each other in the same bed in a single day, not really knowing how but thinking that yes, they actually missed that annoying guy.

Personally, I don't see them fighting all that much, but they do know where to poke to provoke, and France is usually the one poking because he needs drama in his life, and England gets bored easily, so he needs a push to keep lively, but they do know where to stop. (England goes along with it because it suits him and everything is boring; he keeps thinking too much, and this way he's engaged in something that's not self-destructive for once. France just lives for the movie life the drama queen)

So, they don't fight as much as you'd think; it's mostly for show because they need to be the antagonist force, and it's mostly about their differences in handling things and views that usually don't stray all that far, so it's reserved for their nationhood things. The fact that in Canon France demands to fight/argue with Germany also adds to my view, because who will counter him now? (He needs that voice of reason/oposition/ there; it's just unnatural to not have it there.)

So yeah, it can be tiresome, but in a comforting way. Is that a good reason to ship them? Maybe not, but there's no doubt they make a compelling case. Be it hate or love, they're not indifferent to each other, and that's a fact.

You know what intrigues me currently? A new trope that I just came up with, hyperesthesia and hypoesthesia. I'd prolly make it Simi or Chestappen, though for this case, let's say it's Chestappen. In that case, it'd be hyperesthesia!Checo and hypoesthesia!Max - because I said so, lmao. And they're trying to find out how the other one sees the world with their condition. I really kinda like that idea!

For those unaware, hyperesthesia is when your senses are higher than those of a neurotypical person - yes, hyper- and hypoesthesia count as neurodivergencies. It usually shows up in higher sensitivity to touch. Whereas hypoesthesia is the opposite, your senses are duller than those of a neurotypical person.

How do I know this? Well, I'm a living example of hyperesthesia!

In my case, every sense of mine is heightened - except for my sight, that one is genetically bad. I have a more refined taste, sense of smell, touch, and hearing. I taste the slightest differences in recipes, hear the faintest of sounds, like electricity running, if you know what I mean, I feel the faintest of touches on my skin and smell the finest scents - the strong scent of strawberries gives me a headache, lol. Though I gotta say, before my sight got worse due to genetics, I had extremely good sight! Now I can't even decipher a license plate that I'm standing ten meters away from without my glasses, lmao.

I'd probably have Checo be the one to live with what I live with, which is hyperesthesia, and thus Max would be the one with hypoesthesia. So whereas Checo doesn't understand how anyone can not feel as much as others like Max does, Max doesn't get how anyone can feel as much as Checo does.

Imagine them exploring each other's senses. Max brushes a careful hand up against Checo's upper arm, and Checo immediately flinches - he instantly feels it, even as Max's fingers hover only millimeters over his skin. Meanwhile, Checo has to apply some pressure to get Max to feel his touch. In terms of smell, Checo instantly gets a headache from smelling cinnamon - it's too strong for him. Max is barely fazed by it, though. Things like that!

And whereas Checo learned about his condition through the internet, Max learned about his through personal experience and contrasting ones of his peers.

I learned about it through my dentist, of all people, lmao. I got a shot into my gums to desensitize my mouth since I was about to undergo an operation - but it seems my dentist hit a specific space in my mouth that caused the pain I felt from the needle piercing my gums to shoot into my lower lip (that was the day I learned my lips can physically hurt). I was so confused, trust me, meanwhile, my dentist just nodded and said, "Aha. Hyperesthesia." I googled it a few days after my operation and everything fit - then I asked my mom, and she confirmed it, too.

-Tubbo is partially blind in both eyes after his execution. His vision is heavily reduced and very blurry in any part he can actually see. He's also partially deaf. He uses glasses and a walking stick to get about. During his presidency he tries to obscure the fact that he's blind by wearing a partial mask and having Tommy and later Ranboo or Quackity by his side to help prevent him from tripping. Tommy generally lingers very close to him and talks quite loudly, which Tubbo appreciates because it means that he can see/hear Tommy much better than anyone else

-Hannah is a transfem human who is sensitive to the health of the nature around her. She dresses up as a fairy partially as a gender euphoria thing, which is why she fought so hard for the elytra. She's also a lesbian and one of the more confident people in their sexuality on the server, though she doesn't verbalize it often.

-Tommy is transfeminine and nonbinary. They used their very overblown comedic persona and idolize people like Jschlatt because they never felt any connection to her own masculinity and felt wrong for it. They start figuring out their gender after Manberg and fully accept themselves after Bedrock Bros. She's also platoniromantic, meaning her platonic and romantic feelings are kind of twisted together, and asexual. She wants to marry Tubbo. They have bad joint pain and stiffness as well as audio processing issues. They have delusions that can make talking to certain people difficult

-Eret is blind

-Puffy is kind of a woman but really likes fucking with her gender. She tends to create new personas when she does this. She also enjoys being contradictory it gives her gender euphoria. Most of the time she uses she/her and masculine titles (dad, papa, sir, mr, etc) and will dress in a range from masculine to feminine, but sometimes she'll do full drag in a variety of combinations of gender traits because she needs a change. Her feelings for Badboyhalo are gay but so are her feelings for Niki. She's also fat btw that's not a queer hc but it is important to me

-Schlatt has chronic pain and fatigue caused by a heart condition. He usually uses a cane and frequently has to lie down for periods of time between physical activities. He does neither in Manberg and exacerbates his illness with smoking, drinking, and forcing himself to walk around and stand for all hours of the day.

-Nihachu has persisting pain in her shoulder from when she was attacked leaving Manberg. Trauma and intense isolation exacerbated some mental stuff she already had. She experiences auditory hallucinations sometimes, can experience delusions, and has difficulty speaking in a way people around her can fully understand. She's probably bisexual but considers herself a lesbian

-Kind of a mental health headcanon but Technoblade does not hear voices in the sense of a mental health issue. He's sworn himself to service of the God of death (blood) and she just whispers at him sometimes.

bwaah ghost au spiderbit; you can see i kinda lost motivation on this one a bit lmao welp

in this au people that die peacefully leave like. normal ghosts. the "transparent floating person maybe with some quirk" type of ghosts. idk whether make them move on to some Otherside or are they just still hang out in normal world - probably a bit of both (alive people usually can't see those tho). the people who die from some sort of cruel death or at the moment of death have A Lot™ of negative emotions? their ghosts are Fucked Up and Kinda Dangerous™ and less person looking. the nature of it is Unknown™, but those ghosts considered "cursed" - which entails that the curse can be lifted and the ghost can be granted peace. those ghosts behaviour is in fact totally targeted towards ridding themselves of that curse HOWEVER it's usually slow. have i mentioned those ghosts are Fucked Up and Kinda Dangerous™? yadda yadda there are people who specialise in helping those ghosts get rid of their "curse" because otherwise they can do a lot of damage before doing it themselves.

this au was kinda born after thinking what would the actual ghosts of cubitos look like, and then deciding to just make a seperate thing from it

!roier was still abducted, but here it's by some fucked up people who wanted to experiment on humans - he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. take a wild guess how he dies (idk body gave up after weeks of horrifying experiments or something). ghost!roier is surprisingly Not That Dangerous™ - mostly scares encountered people and also seems to bring the rat infestation to every house he is seen in. barely floats, in general looks like a walking corpse that slightly glows, rarely seen on street as seems to hate light (most of it, at least), rats do follow him a lot. doesn't seem to talk and in general also feels constant sickness and disorientation. moves between places a lot, so not many actually seen him. the commonly used name in reports is "Blinded man" (as his eyes are very much hidden behind the cloth constantly)

spiderbit were very much married in this au and well, you could have guessed, !cellbit didn't take the news well at all (authorities eventually found whatever that underground lab was and yknow the bodies). mans left his work at flower shop, became basically a complete shut in and then one day theirhis apartment was on fire. the fire part actually nor because someone set it in fire or whatever - it's because some ghost can be "born" uhh with very real impact on normal world let's just say, and in this case the very first thing ghost!cellbit did was to set the place on fire👍 not cool, because the fire was white, which is very notoriously very hot actually (the whole thing was brief tho - the only thing affected was the apartment) (the cause of death is very much grief induced heart attack btw). the heat from ghost doesn't appear right until the flames themselves are touched - while the burn itself is nonexistent, the pain is very much is. moderately aggressive, seems to have a soft spot for kids (as in, avoids them and in general seems calmer around them). often noticed around various flower shops and other flower related placed (looking for something?) - in a places where his sightings were reported often found ashes of already burn flowers (a specific flower does seem to be burnt much less tho-) (flowers actually can completely distract him - seems to be stuck in place until they finish burning - ideally not be there when that happens). the blood is real, but it vaporises before it hits the ground most of the time. the common name in reports is "Whiteflame ghost"

the way to lift their curse is for ghosts be reunited - the nature of their curse does kinda force them to be "physically" inseparable as to not return to their cursed selves, but it's not like an issue for them at this point.

hehe i can't tell you anything about asa's physical body yet (but don't worry, you'll get an answer to all of that later!) but i can go into specifics about how the injury happened!!

when we last saw them, asa was standing in the doorway with the gun pointed at him around 2 feet away (very close). finn agrees to try to leave with asa, but first he dragged asa backwards into the hallway because he didn't know how long it would take him to travel with asa, or if he'd even be able to do it (because like he said, he tried to leave the kitchen before and the scene only reset). so when the gun goes off, asa is already partially obscured by the wall, but he's turned with his right side closest to the doorway.

okay this is where i have to talk about guns again lmao. so there are a few types of shotgun shells, but the one we're talking about here is birdshot. when fired, the bullet breaks away into tons of tiny balls, increasing the spread but limiting the damage. birdshot is used by many people for home defense because it will be deadly if you're close enough but won't USUALLY penetrate the walls and harm someone on the other side. i say "usually" because at close range it still can go through the wall (just not through the studs). in this case, because richard's gun was nearly pressed against the wall, birdshot was powerful enough to hit asa, though it had already lost so much momentum from going through the drywall that it didn't cause too much damage, and he had already moved far enough away that only one small piece actually made it to him. tl;dr - it barely grazed him. (but if he had stayed in the doorway for a second longer, he would likely be dead)

the reason why asa takes blood thinners is because his risk of blood clots is much higher than the average person due to his frequent loss of consciousness and comas. it's easier to just keep him on the medication consistently rather than wait until he becomes unconscious again, by which point it might be too late. in case you didn't know, blood thinners prevent blood from coagulating easily, which means even the shallowest of cuts can cause profuse bleeding. this meant that asa lost a lot of blood very quickly, which caused him to pass out (more from the shock & the sight of blood than the actual volume of blood lost).

when finn realized what happened, he had already gotten asa to a safe location (btw he took him to the same place they had their first kiss...) and applied pressure to the wound for long enough that it began to clot like normal. he wasn't able to see how bad the injury was, because he would've had to move asa's shirt and he really didn't want to rip the wound open after it the bleeding had JUST started to slow down (the shirt was basically acting like a layer of gauze and he knows you're not supposed to remove that). so in finn's mind, this was a life threatening injury. but as soon as he woke up, asa knew he would be fine. if he had really been bleeding to death, he wouldn't have regained consciousness at all.

it likely hurts a lot more than asa is letting on, but he doesn't want to scare finn, and asa has a pretty high pain tolerance after being in and out of hospitals his whole life, so he's able to hide it. he definitely should not stay here long without treatment though...

Because I have been a cotl fan for more than a year now and narilamb would not be as popular as it is without you

Before you write the first risen lamb and the fallen god series narilamb was usually like a joke ship mostly, or the lamb is teasing nari and he won't open up, or trying to love each other but the pain they have caused makes them have so many communication issues

But then you wrote it as an enemies to lovers concept and I noticed it made a shift when it started clicking with people. You turned it into something that is thought provoking and totally lovely and yet they are both still so wicked, they're evil and they love each other so much and despite everything it works and it inspired people to where the majority where seeing enemies to lovers as kind of the standard for narilamb

Also, how Shamura raised their siblings, and a few other popular headcanons or concepts, started with you

I feel like this is well-intentioned but I don't feel like I don't get "recognition"? I mean, up until a month or two ago I was (allegedly) the most read fic writer but the fandom's fanfic archive is not super big and not as widely read as many fandoms I've been in.

Plus, it's not like anyone needs to list me in their bibliography if they're inspired by fanon stuff I've popularized. The autistic Narinder train is communally run by the fandom now. I've jumped out of the conductor's seat and I'm just shoveling coal into the engine like everyone else. Enemies to lovers was already a trope and I just saw a niche that needed filling (or, in the early days of the fandom it needed filling, but now everyone's brought something to the fandom potluck and we are all having a good time and I am eating them all. Btw)

(And about the "Shamura raising their siblings" thing: I was not the first person to portray that. I was actually inspired by @bishops-of-the-old-faith, an original fandom staple that will always be a cherished part of my experience here!)

How much of this stuff was I the "first" to do? How much fanon did I popularize? It doesn't actually matter to me because I'm honestly too busy chewing on my next project/current WIP. We're all just playing house.
