“What?”

“You’re still here.”

“And? My company isn’t that terrible, is it?”

He didn’t look amused.

“You know who I am. I’m surprised you haven’t gone running to the Scoobies.”

“You’re the vampire with a soul, brooded for a hundred years until Whistler found you, lost your soul due to a clause neither your nor Buffy knew about, and got re-ensouled too late to prevent being sent to hell.” Caitlin shrugged. “I know who you are, and what you did. I doubt the others would be pleased to see you, and I’m not going to see you staked.”

This is from my Buffy wip which I’ve had for years and only written bits and pieces of - Cailtin is my OC, Cailtin Sherwood, a Scottish witch (and quarter-fae) who becomes friends with Angel.

He vanished into his bedroom for a minute and came out with a wrapped item – not dusty at all, so he’d clearly been maintaining it, and he handed it to Malcolm. He unwrapped it – and burst out laughing in delight.

It was a Luke Skywalker print signed by Mark Hamill – signed to Malcolm.

“Holy shit, Eddie, how did you get this? This is amazing.”

“I went to one of those conventions.” He admitted.

“You went to a comic con?” Malcolm tried to imagine that, because...Eddie didn’t like crowds (neither did Malcolm, as he’d found after going to his first and only comic con with Barry) and while he was a fan of several things he didn’t really collect stuff (Malcolm did, but had held off on covering the place with his Star Wars merchandise), so him not only going there, but queueing up and getting this for Malcolm, when he had no idea if he’d ever see him again…

It meant a lot – it meant even more that Eddie had remembered that Malcolm had once told him he’d love a signed photo one day.

This from Part 2/3 of Cobalt Blue and The Flash (depending on what happens), focusing on the brothers Thawne as they continue to rebuild their relationship. The print was something Eddie got for his brother’s 21st, but didn’t get to give to him at the time.

THE TRUTH UNTOLD part 1. "lust at first sight." chapter 2.

He opened the door and, when he turned back, half expecting to see her gone, the Slayer was removing her leather coat and setting it on the coach as she walked towards him, throwing him a what are we waiting for look and passed in front of him inside.

He had led them into the bathroom, but it wasn't any bathroom. The sun in its dying hours was coating through the large windows a washroom made of wood and dark stones, with the bath as its center piece surrounded by plants and multicolored vials that she had no desire to figure out what was inside. She also spot a pile of silky clothes neatly folded by the sink. The fox truly made this house his, uh. She would almost feel bad about making him leave if she hadn't know the real owner, and the few horrors enacted to terrorize poor onlookers so he could keep it out of sight.

Out of nowhere, water began flowing into the bath and steam spiraled up in the air. Saein shot him a look. "That's your ritual?"

"Don't you clean your food?" His tone was irritably too innocent about it. With another flick of the wrist, the wooden curtains gently fell and the candles lit to compensate for the loss of the light. "So you want me to take a bath?" His hands gripped her hips from behind and his index teased under her tee-shirt, leaving goose bumps on her flesh. He leaned. "You spend your nights chasing cadavres in cemeteries, can you blame me?" "Alright now,  that's part of the whole schtick, it doesn't mean I'm not familiar with soap and-" Her protestation was blown out like a candle flame as he placed a chaste kiss below her ear, and profited from her confusion to remove the piece of coton out of her, leaving her bra as the sole protector of her bust.

She tried to turn around, avid to dive in the dance but he held her in place. "Don't. Let me." His voice had changed, deeper, authoritative, as if the mask of the Man was fissuring, and something else was echoing.

His digits were tracing thoughtless patterns on her neck, her shoulders, her back, while she was biting her lip down, fighting every instinct to stay put, to let him play with her, ravaging her with the most innocuous motions while every fiber of her being were screaming for permission to pin him on the floor. A silent sigh when he suddenly undid her denim button and the baggy jeans dropped to her ankles. She felt him so close behind her but he was careful to never let his body brush her more than a few seconds, here and there, only in the most benign parts of her, while he was removing every single pieces of clothing on her, always gently pushing her away when she was trying to speed up the process, and leading her inside the bath at the same time.

By the time she sank in, Saein was losing the threads of her thoughts in the sensitive mess he had made of her skin, and the heated water over her millions of pins and needles felt like an healing balm. So distracted by the relief, she only heard him shuffle something in her back and before she could glance back at him, he had removed his drapery robe and freed his arms but nothing more.

In her bubbles, she was starkly naked while he stood dry and fully dressed, sitting himself down by the edge of the bath as a smile was floating on his lips, absorbed in his admiration. Still, some part of him was waiting for her to stand up, throw a punch at him and leave, but there she was, the mighty Slayer, her eyes coated with a hazy nitescence and her jet hair swaying in the wake of the waves. Beautiful.

"How you feeling?"

"Hm, warm." She pulled on his shirt. "Come." With care, he removed her fingers to interlace theirs and, with an embrace, brought her easily closer to him, keeping her back against the edge of the bath and therefore removing himself from her vision and yet invading her space, his mouth straying right by her ear. "No, thank you. I like the view from here better."

Out of thin air, Yoongi pulled a sponge already foaming and began bathing her, washing properly her arms, her feet, her thighs, brushing innocently over her chest, hovering prudishly between her legs... When she strayed too far ahead in the water, the gumiho had to bend over to bring her back with a firm pull.

"Hajima", he murmured to her ear and the sensation of his breath sent a pulse in her belly. "Stop teasing me, then." She could hear him hold back a chuckle. "Already?" He was worse than a cat with a mouse, the anticipation was killing her. "Alright, then." And he took a nibble at her earlobe while his hand abandoned the sponge to travel with purpose on her breasts. He readjusted himself to be able to see the way his palm cupped under her flesh, how her nipples reacted to his touch and how her breathing grew deeper. His thumb was exploring her sensitivities, circling with precision and mirroring on the other, wondering how they would feel between his teeth... Focus.

Every tremor of hers was improving his aim and soon she came to regret the time he only teased for now he seemed to only care about finding the most sensible inches of her. Through his fingertips, the nine-tailed fox could sense the wave of pleasure rising in her, a slow churning he was spurring, only when it reached the tide he craved for that one of his hand slip along her skin all the way down to the warmth of her intimacy and let the surge build.  

She held back a gasp as he began exploring, gently wondering around at the rhythm of her twitches, stroking her piano keys and figuring out her harmony. It's only when she dropped her head back on his shoulder with a contained groan that he noticed something was off and froze.

"Are you holding back your voice?"

"Uh? aniyo,"

He scoffed, she was not even trying to lie properly. "You are, and you're trying to come fast!" The Gumiho couldn't tell if he was outraged or amused. "I thought you wanted to feed me, what kind of lukewarm meal is that?" Ceasing coldly all his movements, leaving her oh so lonely, "Don't-" She stopped herself. Since his assaults had taken hold of her, this was her first chance to properly breathe among the steam that was now completely enveloping them. "Maybe, I'm just not the loud type" Shameless, the huntress that had made herself a willing prey wouldn't even turn her head to see the disapproving face of a man that was not buying any of that bullshit. "Oh, really?" Thank goodness she could not the glint that had lit up in his pupils. Without warning, his fingers took back hold of what they had abandoned and, neglecting the gentleness they had showed previously, ferociously threw her back into such a tidal wave that he nearly defeated her right here and there and a moan escaped her lips and fell with the taste of candy into his ear. "Sorry, what was that?" That lil bastard ..

But he doesn't gloat further, he knows he opened the gates he meant to open and Saein showed no signs, despite her annoyance, to close them again, getting louder and louder as his fingers slipped deeper and deeper, with an expert cadence and making her forget why she ever felt embarrassed, or even where she was.

Her toes curled, the tsunami announcing in her now reflected in her unrest body making their own real waves. She reached for the bathtub for support but instead found the back of his hair. Getting the silent message, with a kiss in the nook of her neck, he kept her pinned against the tub with one hand on her stomach while the other was bringing her closer and closer to the edge, but knowing when to slow down to only push her further, scaring her with the height and the desperation for it she was reaching. The faster her heart beat, the higher the wave was building in her, the more energy was pulsing from her to him, clouding his judgment and restraint. The kiss on her neck turned into frenzied licks, his tongue tasting the salt of her skin. Feeding through the touch of his fingers felt like slurping a fine wine, but it was through his mouth the Gumiho truly felt the whole meal, and the hunger being satisfied.

Another va-et-viens and -

"I'm there, I'm there!"

Her toes curled, every fiber of her being tensed as the pleasure flooded in and out of her. He barely slowed down for a minute, letting them both ride it, until he felt her hand try to push his away, but he held on. "Not yet. More." He groaned, that bass in his voice more guttural than ever. His movements picked up and the Slayer that wasn't even properly done riding her first orgasm, nearly squeaked as the second came on the horizon. Softly, this time, he coddled her "You can go further," but his velvety tones did not align with the manner in which he was ravaging her clit with his thumb while the index and major were arching in her without mercy. She kicked the water and cursed his name in unspeakable languages. Yet, it took no time at all for another tsunami that made the first one pale in comparison took her in an interminable spiral, as he was guiding her through it, driving her through the surges until, little by little, they became ripples.

Then only, he withdrew, as well as his grip on her and let her slip down further in the water... Only to immediately catch her again when he noticed she was slipping down too fast and too low. "Oi careful there."

Her eyes rolled back.

"... damn..."

It was so hot in there, so hot and her heart was pounding so hard in her ribcage it was the only thing she could hear. She was on the brink of passing out

 And yet it felt like heaven. A steamy heaven.  

He laid her back up in the bath, more securely, and after making sure she was holding her own, he let go of her to lean back on the edge, his chin in his palm, watching her come back to earth, fascinated. If he was honest, he also felt a little more light-headed, distracted, (aroused), than he had expected but he put it on the account of not having this kind of full meal in quite a long time. He was just out of practice.

She was watching him too, in a haze. He hadn't let her sneak more than a peek of his face while he was playing with her and now there he was, almost glowing in the steam, a look of pure satisfaction on his fine lines. Her gaze fell on his milky skin, the sharp shape of his eyebrows, the round curve of his nose, and then longed on his lips, his full, enticing, slightly apart lips, ready for reaping. "Pretty."

She didn't realize she had been moving, nor did he understand her intentions until, with barely a touch, with the softest of collision, her lips locked themselves with his. His eyes widened as hers close shut, impervious. A smile of hers broke it. "That was nice"  

Taken aback, the mythical creature blinked.

He would have stayed there, frozen, if she hadn't almost slipped down in the bath again in her attempt to return to her previous position, before he caught back her arm, and his senses.

"Alright, time for a nap." And with a swift movement, he got her out of the bath and into his arms, grabbing a towel he snuggled her into, and led her out to the bed.

EPILOGUE

He sat  her on the mattress, handing her an old tee-shirt, as she mumbled.

"I'm not sleepy."

"Your eyes are still close."

Crunching her nose, she opened, with difficulty, her eyes and slipped into the white tee. As he was about to leave, she said "How about you?"

"What about me?" She reached for the rim of his pants to turn the fox to her.

"Don't you want me to take care of you?" The cocky smile he drew on his face was not quite as confident as he would want it to be, still rattled by earlier.

He gently removed her hand and, holding her shoulders, laid her down forcibly on the bed. "It's your pleasure that feeds me, not mine. So... I need you rested, and comfortable, and happy. Sleep, I'm begging you."

Nobody could deny the exhaustion that had taken over her, not even her when she could scarcely get back up now that she felt the softness of the comforter. Still, she grabbed his shirt before he could back away.

"But it still feels good, right?"

This time, he almost laughed. "I guess it's not too bad."

Now, her smile, that was a cocky smile. She pulled, and he suddenly remembered her strength as he nearly smashed into her if he hadn't caught himself with an elbow, inches away from her face.

"I'll sleep, if you sleep."

"I don't-" But every protestation died in his throat as she was already rolling and pulling his arm around her waist, finally letting herself sink into a pillow and in rest. I guess i could use a nap. Giving up, the Gomiho made himself comfortable and soon slipped into Morpheus arms.

This fanfiction is born from my dissatisfaction with the way Kai was criminally underutilized in the TVDU. Honestly, I found him annoying at first, but he grew on me as season 6 went on. Thru Chris Wood's charming performance, Kai stole the show for me. I'll never forgive the showrunners for a lot of things, including underutilizing Chris Wood in this role & not allowing this broken king to have a real redemption arc.

On the topic of the showrunners, I'll never forgive them for how they did Bonnie Bennett or the Bennetts in general with how they were limited to magical plot devices for everyone else's use without any appreciative focus on their power & how it could really benefit them. Even though I love Bonnie & Kai, my otp endgame for her has always been Bonenzo, but I also adore Klonnie ❤️.

My AU changed and added plenty of lore around his coven & certain events. The plot follows the life of Bonnie's younger sister, Rosalina "Rose" Bennett-Ruiz. I go on to describe her below, but I'd like to state that she acts as Kai's antithesis as an innocent, fledgling witch. She's also Bonnie's support system. I always hated how the show often ignored that Bonnie lacked family around her that were unconditionally there for her. Bonnie's mom left when she was small, she lost her grams in season 1, and her father was a non-factor in her life until he returned... just to get killed off in front of her.

I wrote Rose & Bonnie's dynamic keeping in mind everything I hate about older sibling/younger sibling dynamics, like the one between Buffy and Dawn in BTVS. Bonnie deserves family that consistently supports her, encourages her to prioritize her well-being, and actually tries to lessen the existing load on her shoulders.

Another thing I kept in mind when adding Rose to my TVD AU is not to have her replace or take away Bonnie’s space in the plot. Now, I do give her Bonnie's plotline of being sent to the prison world in season 6, but this is essential to the story, and the way Bonnie was treated that season made me so sad that I have no problem taking traumatic experiences from her (of which she has more than enough) and giving them to Rose.

Rose was raised in Summersville, North Carolina. She was a child model until 13 when her father tragically died. She was the captain of her high school majorette dance team. Her life drastically changed when Bonnie arrived on her doorstep.

Rose was 16 when she & Bonnie would finally meet. Bonnie and Elena came to Abby for help with a spell. Rose was shocked to find that she had an older sister as Abby never mentioned Bonnie or the life she left behind in Mystic Falls. She was even more surprised upon finding out about her magical bloodline and that supernatural creatures walked the earth. Unlike Grams, Abby never mentioned magic throughout Rose’s life and even went as far to suppress her magic with by binding it.

After Abby is turned by Damon, she decides to leave her family to gain control as a fledgling vampire. Rose moves to Mystic Falls with Bonnie where she learns magic from her.

Magic doesn’t come naturally to Rose. But she often helps Bonnie with powerful spells, offering herself as a conduit for channeling together.

Admittedly having a 50% accuracy rate with her own spells. Rose’s confidence & focus are hindered when chanting and spells drain her much quicker even when she tries channeling the energy around her. Despite this, Rose is determined to improve, valuing her one-on-one time with Bonnie and spending late nights on her own practicing & memorizing spells. She uses her magic for good and wants to prove herself as a capable witch.

She excels at herb studies. Often experiments with potions and creates charms using the herbs they grow in their garden.

Her role in the Mystic Falls gang is the “Bennett witch in training” or “the bringer of baked goods” (according to Damon), since she often supplies their gatherings with fresh pastries. Everyone underestimates her power, even Bonnie. She tries to keep Rose out of danger unless she can’t help it.

Characteristics:

Charismatic with a charming smile. Upon meeting him, his charisma operates as a façade to hide his lack of empathy and his sadistic tendencies

Can be hard to read but that’s because he struggles with expressing his emotions which stems from his abusive childhood. He’s cold and relatively unfeeling with people, but once he lets someone in, he’s fiercely loyal and protective.

He can be observant, calculating and manipulative to taking advantage of someone and get what he wants

He’s a sassy man, often comes back with quick quips and has a natural sense of humor (typically dark humor)

When he’s comfortable, he never shuts up, has no filter and sucks with certain social cues. After being alone for nearly his whole life, will talk anyone's ear off without realizing they are not willing to listen

Kai can siphon all of a witch’s magic without killing them. He controls how the process feels - at its worst, a fast searing burn to a slight tingle. Overtime, a witch will regenerate their magic

High libido!!- He’s starved for touch and affection (though he would never admit that he needs anyone). Sexual desires reflect his sadistic personality as he enjoys dominating another person through absolute control and pain infliction

He likes raunchy comedies and media with half-naked women such as Bay Watch and MTV videos. A major foodie with constant cravings for sweet and salty snacks. He prefers snacking throughout the day but when he does bother to cook, it’s really good

He is fluent in old Latin, often found in grimoires and other ancient texts. When he was young he’d get his hands on old grimoires and study them, all the time to himself allowing him to hone his knowledge of witchcraft and technique

Background:

The Parker family is the head of the Gemini coven. Its patriarch, Joshua Parker is the coven leader. Kai is the eldest child, being half an hour older than his fraternal twin, Josette. Unlike Jo, Kai was born without the ability to generate his own magic, instead siphoning magic from lingering spells, objects, or other witches. When he was young, he would naturally gravitate toward the magic of his sister, so Joshua quickly decided to physically isolate Kai from everyone for fear of his son's "defect" hurting others.

As fraternal twins born of the coven leader, Jo and Kai would be set to merge on their 22nd birthday, where the winner takes the other's magic and coven leadership and the loser dies and is absorbed into the other but with the risk of Kai's siphoning ability giving him an edge in the merge, Joshua and Viviane continued having kids until she birthed another set of twins that would merge instead.

Kai's upbringing was lonely, spending most of his time locked in his bedroom up in the attic. Following his father's lead, most of his family excluded and demonized him. As he grew, Kai learned to internalize the cruel labels they gave him. If they wanted a monster, they would get a monster and on his 22nd birthday, May 9th, 1994, he would finally act on his boiling rage and resentment toward his family, unleashing the hatred he accumulated through a lifetime of torment onto his siblings when Jo refused the merge. To protect the twins, she would relent to merge with him but the coven was waiting and with the help of Sheila Bennett they banished him to a prison world of complete isolation.

Each year that passed only added to his hunger for revenge, left with nothing to do but plan his escape and seizer of coven leadership. He grew to take pride in what he had done to his siblings and his status as a sociopath capable of killing anyone who gets in his way without remorse.

AU-Specific Lore:

Prison world Lore:

Prison worlds are created by Bennett blood sacrifice, meaning a Bennett must be bled to death so the gemini coven can channel her blood magic.

A prison world resets with the eclipse every 3 months.

Time works differently, so no one ages throughout their time there.

A prison world cannot create life so the only living inhabitants are those sent there or arrive via ascendant.

Kai is linked to his prison world so he can’t die. If something kills him, he’ll be out for a while depending on the damage but the magic will heal him back to life. Without Kai, the prison world falls apart so while he’s there, it sustains his life to sustain itself. Once he leaves, it ceases to exist.

The Ascendant - an ancient device created by the Gemini coven and a Bennett ancestor that only responds to a living Bennett’s blood magic. The ascendant is sensitive to magic in general, so even when the spell is done right, it will activate then fall apart. You only have one chance at the time of the eclipse to correctly do the spell, which Kai knows from experience because early on he tried collecting a vial of Bennett blood that he hunted down in a hospital and using Josette's magic he siphoned from a hidden dagger. Disappointment boiled over into rage when he did the spell beneath the eclipse, the ascendant disassembled, but he was not transported out.

The Gemini Coven Lair:

Exists as a interdimensional where the coven keeps ancient texts, grimoires, enchanted items (talismans, gems, ascendants, etc.), and materials for spells & potions

Infinite space that can be utilized by the coven leader: often includes a space for magic instruction, a library, spell casting, a gathering area for the coven, etc.

Accessed only by portal, which is summoned by a spell entrusted to high-ranking Gemini members

Julie can't sit in a chair properly. [i mean. there's a stereotype about bisexual sitting for a reason.]

Julie hates being alone. [she is SUCH a people person]

Julie sleeps in until noon. [not always, but when she's got someone else to open the White Fox, absolutely. usually she sleeps til 10, and the shop opens at 11. hiring Christian has been great for her.]

Julie knocks people over by hugging them. [this has happened to Ethan. Repeatedly. she thinks it's funny.]

Julie gets road rage.

Julie has an incredible long-term memory but an awful short-term memory. [adhd will do that to you. no she's not diagnosed, she was born in 1970. but i made her, so i know.]

Julie steals other peoples clothes. [she has a collection of random shirts and jackets that she just never gave back to various exes, at least two things of her older sister's despite living on different continents now, and a jacket that Ethan has just accepted he's never getting back. It's fine, he stole it from Ripper to begin with.]

[if you ask her, it just grazed her. if you ask Ethan, his life flashed before his eyes. if you ask the doctor that treated her, it was just some bruising and a twisted ankle because Ethan yanked her back onto the sidewalk. they were leaving the white fox to go to lunch. lunch did NOT happen because ethan is overprotective of his family.]

Julie has fallen asleep at their desk while working in the middle of the night. [doing inventory as the owner and- at the time- sole employee of a small business is just like that sometimes.]

Mayhem (BG3 Tav)

Mayhem has an incredible spice tolorance.

Mayhem will go feral. Watch out. [do not hurt his people. you will find six knives in your back and wonder where they all came from before you die horribly. he utterly demolished orin to rescue a guy that he still claims he only kind of likes.]

Mayhem sings in the shower. [his childhood best friend is a bard and he knows all the words to many many things. he's not good but that's not really the point of it. it's just fun.]

Mayhem sleeps in until noon. [he's a former thief and even as an adventurer still conducts most of his life by moonlight. noon is early for him.]

Mayhem nearly drowned in a river as a child. [orphan child attempts to teach himself to swim in the Chionthar, is rescued by his best friend in a wildly traumatic incident. may expand on that when i finally write the big Mayhem and Bon fic.]

Mayhem could easily survive The Hunger Games.

Mayhem is a simp. [i hate this word but like. idk man the guy took one look at lae'zel and decided he was gonna do whatever she wants. as far as i can tell that's pretty much textbook.]

Most of my fics have happy endings, though I really like them with a tinge of uncertainty or bittersweetness.

the most straight up happily ever after is probably Hay, (Solavellan, E) which is just a very self-indulgent little happy fic.

I don't think I ever had?

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

I do write smut! I love writing smut, it's such a good challenge and it makes me happy. I love characterization through smut - and it's such an interesting way to do characterization. That said, sometimes I'm just thirsty and I want to see two characters smash. I'm not pretentious about it. I'm here to have fun and I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to read or write porn.

I write all sort of smut? I do love playing with power dynamics in sex scenes.

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've written?

The closest I've written is Comfort, a Solavellan vampire fic, which uses some BtVS lore? It's not crazy tho!

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of!

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

Not that I know of either. I think I'd be a little apprehensive.

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

nope. I'm not sure how i'd do that? writing feels like a solitary thing, even when asking for feedback and input.

The closest is a shared timeline/ideas where my OC interact with another person's OC and both of us wrote in the same continuity.

14. what's your all-time favourite ship?

hmmm. Once I've not written for and probably never will, Spike/Buffy.

if it's writing for, I'd say it's still Solavellan.

15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I think if I want to finish it, I will? I have some old WIPs, but the reason I'm not finishing them is lack of want? Do or do not kinda thing I think.

16. what are your writing strengths?

I've told I've had good pacing. I think I write pretty good smut.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptions? I tend to not want want to describe things. I'm also not great at moving characters through space - he went to the door, he looked out etc? I tend to slip into passive voice when writing characters moving around unless it's combat action or sex.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

nope.

is perfectly valid.

A few short words like endearments - where the speaker would use a specific term in a different language than what's spoke is fine. Items that are specific and not translatable and would typically be borrowed words in a different language are fine too (kimono. computer. kayak)

A few shenanigans later, the Slayer offered herself up to the Gumiho to feed him. (the story is in media res, if ppl are interested in knowing how they actually met, I might write that in the future)

The prophecies. The legends. All leading to ... her destiny? In Hwachang? The misty city in the south of Seoul, was sitting prettily on top of a Hellmouth, a fissure between realities that let demons in and attracted the local bloodsuckers, kooky wizards and the occasional delusional mummy to its source, but nothing to worry! For the Slayer (or one of anyway, nowadays they operated more in the thousand, which was still quite a low number considering it was worldwide, but you gotta admit it is better that the One, unique, singular numero uno it used to be) had made it her home a few years back already and kept the lid on the infernal soup brewing in there. Somewhat. As best as she could, you know, while juggling her two part-times and gig in the band to whom she promised she wouldn't miss another concert or she would clean Lee's drumset off the gums the kids stuck there with a toothbrush.

But you gotta stake a vampire's heart first!

Or fix the Gumiho issue the sunny-smiled client had brought to your door, and with payment for a change.

... And now, she was waking up in his bed.

Snuggled against him, his warmth, his slow breathing. For the first time in years, she had dreamt of nothing. Her mind had been preoccupied with rest only. Even as she rose back into consciousness, there was something peaceful in the room with the way the light was turning golden through the curtains, or was it the summer breeze of the evening? Saein couldn't remember why she was fighting off the urge to fall back in, let the embrace of oblivion wrap her once again. It was his presence, the fox, the sneaky little fox she had thrown herself at his mercy and could not find any regrets for, innocently dozing off behind her that awoke her fully. She didn't even know what a Gumiho was a month ago and now she was spooning with one, wondering if she should interrogate the reason it felt like an elephant had took off his foot from her chest and ultimately deciding to leave that for the next spiralling down existential crisis that was most likely looming around soon. In the meantime, she'd enjoy the lightness.

Her sleepy gaze fell on his curled hand that he had kept where she put it, hugging her from behind, right next to her own arm and she was, without realizing, noting their every detail: the paths his veins were drawing on his pale skin, the pinkish color of his knuckles, how long his fingers extended despite being crouched over themselves... Her mind wandered towards those fingers' abilities. The way he could sense and absorb emotions, but not any emotion, hers, no, no not exactly, not any of hers either, just pleasure. Her thoughts drifted back to what those fingers did to her only a few hours before, how they felt on her body, in her body... The memory alone is enough to bring back the electric warmth. It felt like trying to remember a dream that kept escaping her. The more she tried to recount all the details, the more she grew restless, the proximity of his body right next to her seeming too far, and the more the view of those fingers being so close to her skin and yet motionless was driving her bonkers.

Suddenly, it occurred to her. Once again, somehow, she had her back to him. Maybe it was because they were practically in the same position than in the bathroom, and her body was merely reacting to the recall like, like... muscle memory, or something. She wanted needed to see his face. She turned slowly to face him, and the change of position made his hand slip to her waist. Damnit. But now she could see him. Half his face snuggled into a pillow, the fox looked peaceful, almost innocent. So human, not a single feature betraying him. His long raven hair fell across his eyelids, his cheeks were fuller you would expect, and, like a magnet, her gaze fell to his well-defined lips. Once again, she felt the rythme of her heart accelerate and a fog rise amidst her better judgment as she leaned ever so slightly. "You're..."  Gorgeous. It was stupid how gorgeous he looked. It would be pointless trying to explain the harmony of his traits, he might as well have been sculpted by the fabric of the universe itself.  

"Hm?" His grumbling scared the living bejesus out of her, with his cave-like voice, awakening from the depth of his sleep and stopping her cold in her tracks. He opened his eyes and for a moment they were both frozen, neither willing to give in nor escape whatever this situation was. Saein, going as far as tilting her head as if she was not leaning mere inches away from him, innocently echoed: "Hm?"

Yoongi's eyes were flickering all over her face, trying to figure her out and finding himself completely unable to. That was not how things usually go. By now, she should be miles away from here, actually she shouldn't even be in his bed. ACTUALLY, a Slayer, should not even be in the same city than him, and definitely not offer herself up and even less should he be able to still taste her in his veins, and crave her... Her scent should not be all over his sheets, and he should not be woken up with her, above him, taunting him.

Saein moved closer, and he recognized the same look she had given him in the bathtub. "What are you-" he said absentmindedly, as his whole brain, barely awakened, was shutting down in the attempt to process the situation, only aware in this instant of her face closing the distance on his. As if she was in a  trance, she continued to mumble to herself "You look..." The words died on her lips as she could no take off her eyes from his. If only she knew how he was looking at her, completely puzzled and adoring with defeat the confusion she was putting him through, but her attention was entirely on her own realization of his absolute sinful beauty she was gorging herself in.

She swallowed the last distance between them and let the end of the sentence crash on his mouth, unfinished, sealing the answer with a kiss that felt like silk, mellow and light. This time, the fox was not as taken aback as he was before, but still, he had no time to process or react before she halted it. "You've got to stop doing that", he murmurs behind his breathe as they are close enough to hear any whisper from each other. "Why?" The fever was still very much present in her. "It's not what I usually ..." "It's not part of the ritual?" She rubbed her nose against his, he bit his bottom lip, suddenly crisping, then finally exhaling: "Yeah, something like that." But you're not pushing her off. "You said you fed on my pleasure... Can't you feel it?" He did. Every brush against his nose, the slightest touch of her wandering lips hovering right above his, waiting for nothing more than permission, with every single skin ship, he could feel her, completely, her and the flood of emotions she carried. More than the kiss, it was the eagerness that made him spiral. She was so .. what was she? 

"Christ, you just woke up, what did you dream about to be like that?" But he couldn't help himself, he couldn't deny that she was stirring up his own hunger at an alarming pace. Now, as if she could read his defenses melt away, her fingers were venturing along his neck all the way to his jaw. "I dreamt of a bath." He smirked. The fox is back. "A good bath?" The gumiho slowly rose up, making sure to never wander an inch away from the distance they had established, their breath mingling together.  She tucked a piece of hair behind his ear. Her smile widened. "It wasn't too bad, i guess." That's all it took, Yoongi succumbed to the black hole-like attraction and, truly, fully, kissed her.

 Kissing him was intoxicating. Kissing him was understanding the meaning of lust itself. She felt like she was satisfying a thirst after a drought, like the water had been right out of her reach for days and now it was gliding in her throat and she didn't know how to appreciate the immensity of it. The slayer was a good kisser, but even her had to admit she had never been or kissed like that. She felt no inhibitions with him, and why should she? This was always what she came here for, and intimacy with him felt like the most natural thing in the world. Saein didn't wait to take over, guiding the depth of the kiss to the heights of her expectations, rolling over him for more control, sitting on his chest and her hands sliding in his hair.

The chaste kiss was far gone and they were inhaling each other, exploring how far the other would let them go and neither posing any boundaries if it wasn't for the rush that limited either from melting completely in one movement before another got distracted by wanting more.

The Gumiho was completely overwhelmed. There was a reason he didn't usually kiss. Although the mythical creature fed through every touch, his mouth remained the true mean to do so, and therefore the most sensitive part of him. He had a hard time focusing on her pleasure without getting distracted by his before he could actually eat anything. She made his head spin, dangerously. He got so dismayed by his own efforts to snap out of it that he didn't notice one of her hand forsake his dark hair to travel down his chest and work on the buttons of his silky shirt. He only noticed when she freed his mouth, although he pursued her in a rush, to kiss her way down his neck and when she reached his collarbone, all the buttons had come undone and she was sliding her fingers along his bare skin. "So soft," she whispers in-between pecks, finally giving him a moment to breathe but only as she has a new destination in mind. Before moving any way down further, she suddenly sat back up, straddling him. Here, she was taking him in, slowing down their clock at a still because the view was breathtaking.

Yoongi was having a hard time catching his breath, his eyes slightly rolled back, his mouth still hanging open. He looked both ethereal and lost in ether at once. Her gaze followed the trace of her fingers on his chest, feasting on the wide, soft but defined chest, nearly drooling at it. "Not bad," she sighed.

This was the moment she started to wonder if Gumihos didn't emit pheromones or something  because there was no way she was like that just after a make out session, right?

"Not bad," he repeated. With the golden light from the dying sun coming behind her, the Slayer looked divine. He was looking up at her, standing astride him, her messy onyx hair dripping down on her forehead, the curve of her waist he could distinguish through the enormous tee-shirt he had lent her, her naked thighs pressing against his ribs, and if she were to move back ever so slightly...

His eyes widened when she proceeded to do just that, but instead of following through on his thoughts, she merely bent back to kiss, with tenderness, his chest. She was putting all her attention on how the muscles of his breast reacted to her touch, tensing up and releasing, caressing the smooth skin and the chest hair before adventuring herself onto the most sensitive parts: the brown pinkish buttons enticing her. Her teeth brushed over, then bit above it, before remembering how much she hated him teasing her the same way, which honestly was leaning her more towards teasing him even more but her own desires won and she started licking unceremoniously the nipple, exhorting a deep grunt out of him. He didn't just lost control, he wasn't sure he could remember the meaning of the word. Admittedly, it had been a while since he had been on the receiving end but by the name of all that is evil, what the fuck.

When he felt her hand sneaking down between his legs, he suddenly pulled himself back up, making her slump on her ass on the mattress, wide-eyed.

He coughed with a forced laugh, as if he just remembered something that could not wait. "I forgot you're human! You gotta be hungry." Parsed lips, eye contact nowhere to be seen. Her eyes succinctly fell down below his waist but she did not comment on what she saw and he pretended not to notice but continued with a faster pace. "I'm not going to make you starve, I take care of my guests, I'm not a monster. Wait here." Before she had the chance to riposte, or comprehend the sudden switch, he was gone in a storm.

hey! i remember being on tumblr in the old days (old-ish, like 2014-2017) and asks were sooo common and so fun to just get to know people. i'm glad you're doing this, and i love to get asks!

about me and my job: i'm a researcher currently employed in a government lab where i work with common viruses like HSV and influenza in order to understand how they affect people with specific genetic diseases. microbiology (and biology in general) is one of my greatest passions and i LOVE geeking out about it. seriously don't get me started lol or please do actually. let's talk about it

fandoms: i'm kind of all over the place here. i love so much media but my biggest fandoms as you can tell from my blog are probably lotr/the hobbit, wwdits, btvs, hunter x hunter, the x files, and merlin. i also LOVE severance; it's such a great show but i'm not sure if there's even a fandom for it?? and i'm no hardcore shipper, but i like bagginshield, samfro, methur, nandermo (frankly any ship on the show), destiel because i'm still living in 2016, aziraphale/crowley, and mulder/scully. tbh there are probably so many more

writing/blog: i do love to write, yet i've never published any fics online before. BUT i've got a few fics in the works which i want to try to post soon -- my ao3 is the same as my tumblr although there's nothing on there yet except my treasured bookmarks lol. i'd like to get prompts or story snippet ideas, but sometimes i can be such a slow writer that i might struggle to respond to them. but who knows! maybe it'll bring out some inspiration in me.

pets/hobbies: i don't have any pets right now, and my hobbies usually involve playing and listening to music, writing, reading, making and collecting jewelry, and cooking.

I made it a challenge to myself to watch all the teen dramas, and I think I have finally watched them all (at least the classics). Since I have finished all the teen soaps, I think I shall rate them with my bias opinions (this is 2010s and later only)....

#1: Teen Wolf. I debated adding the supernatural ones to this list, but alas I had to. This show is #1 because it embodied everything teen drama with actually good acting, an iconic villain (Void!Stiles) and a ship I would die for (Stydia). this show had everything the teen dramas were hoping for, there is an actually lovable main character, an even more loved best friend, and an epic story of romance and saving the world every day while still in highscool. what more could you ask for?

#2: since supernatural teen soaps are in this, Buffy the Vampire Slayer will always have my heart. This show went beyond teen angst and became a much deeper, emotional show as it matured with the audience, but it will forever be a classic and would make #1 if it weren't for the whole deeply moving and painful season where Buffy grappled with wanting to be dead and trying not to hate her friends from tearing her away from heaven.

#3: Gossip Girl. This show had everything a teen drama could ask for. Rich people, more rich people who just acted like they were poor but they lived in a giant apartment in Brooklyn, love triangles, back and forth will they or won't they, and the best mystery of the 2000s: who is GG??? the best part about this show was I loved to hate every character on this show, and it made me even more invested every episode.

#4: The OC. This might come to a shocker to most, but this show (though was a little too serious sometimes) was the only teen drama I watched where they had almost as much humor as they did angst. Summer and Seth were the soul of this show, truthfully, and it was the only teen angst show that had me loving every character by the end. It embodied the essence of highschool teen drama shenanigans like any TV show would attempt and misrepresent and I forever will love it for it.

#5: The Vampire Diaries. This show gets #5 for iconic stats only, if I'm honest. However there's something about tvd that makes me want to rewatch just about every new month. With the most iconic couple, Damon and Elena as a plus, theres still the epically annoying love triangles, it's poor acting, and the never ending amount of necks these vampies snapped. this show will always baffle me for its pull on ppl (me included) with some of the most annoying main characters to exist leading most the show. The entire TVD franchise is attached to this, because I refuse to add any of the other spins offs in this list.

#6: One Tree Hill. This show, if being rated for this soap opera plots alone, would've been #1 on this list. One Tree Hill was the embodiment of pointless fighting, ridiculous plots, and epic love triangles. Nothing beats how this show idolized basketball, and how it demonized a dad that never had any real reason to be such a horrible dad. like seriously, why did he hate Lucas sm??? it was never really ever explained. For me personally, this show made #6 merely because I'm a girl who loves a good ship, and there was never a ship I was ever truly invested in for this show. Naley was lovely, but I never could get too invested in any of these characters. They were always very 2 dimensional and had very little growth (aside from Nathan and Brooke, obviously).

#7: Veronica Mars. This show honestly belongs up there with BTVS with its witty dialougue, interesting and dramatic myteries, love to hate characters, and the epic love story that is LoVe. however it gets knocked down to 7th place due to its lack of an ending and then the creator's absolutely ruining the entire show by giving us one more season with the worst ending to exist (and I've seen HIMYMs ending).

#8: Dawson's Creek. This show is a mix of hate and love for me, though it does hold a special place in my heart. It belongs higher up the list for its wordy dialogue, perpetual declarations of love and the meaning of life, and its never ending love triangle. I loved Pacey, Joey, Jen, and Jack very dearly in this show. They all were precious characters who all grew up tremendously (especially Jen and Pacey). and of course, Pacey and Joey's love story might just be one of the best ones in all of teen dramas. however, it gets demoted down to the lonely number 8 because I simply just did not like Dawson. Sadly, it being called Dawson's Creek, he was quite a regular in the show, too. even plots usually circulated around him most episodes. He was self righteous, selfish, narcissistic, a manipulator, and truly he never changed until the final episodes. I always thought I hated Elena in tvd, but at least with Elena she meant good. Dawson wanted nothing but his way, and most of his actions (like his hate for Pacey) were purely because he was a whiny baby that hated that he didn't get what he wanted. I mean, Pacey and Joey were literally fighting about telling him - on their way to tell him in that very moment. Joey was the one who didn't want to tell Dawson the most - and yet Dawson spent the rest of the show (until the final episodes) hating his best friend for simply loving someone Dawson decided he had dibs on. Joey and Pacey were the only thing that kept me watching, since Jack and Jens plots were few and far between the longer the show went on.

#9: This placement really is just for all the other teen dramas I left out, especially for the shows that were an odd mix of drama and comedy, or never really had any opportunity to fall into any of the classic teen drama trends. some honorable mentions would be Freaks and Geeks, Gilmore Girls, Degrassi (I just refuse to watch Degrassi, tbh), Charmed, and 90210.

#10: and last and most certianly least, Pretty Little Liars. I hated this show, and truthfully never finished the last seasons. I just skipped and watched the finale because I became so irritated with every aspect of this entire series. However, it's start was good, and I will always remember the thrill of watching the first season and trying to peice together just who A really was.
