From what I hear, practically everyone loses money touring in Europe. Every country in the E.U. has different rules, different paperwork that must be filed, different taxes that must be paid, and different work visa requirements, not to mention onerous border checks for stage equipment. That's like coming to the U.S. and doing paperwork, getting visas and paying taxes for every state you hold a concert in the United States, plus a lengthy wait between each venue so that the stage equipment gets cleared at the state border. Plus E.U. rules are strict and E.U. taxes are high so even the merch income is halved. Getting there is expensive so you want to hit several places nearby while you are there, but the bureaucracy may make it logistically or financially imprudent.

It's one thing if you're a Western act that just gets up there in your jeans, T-shirt and guitar, but I bet it's a NIGHTMARE for BTS and their three-story inflatable jaguars, fireworks and stadium-flying Jungkooks. They travel with so much stuff, with so many staff, it's a HUGE production.

Last year a consortium of touring production agencies joined to petition the E.U. to streamline the bureaucracy for the sake of the arts, and bottom lines. But if BTS does come to Europe, it will literally be a labor of love for ARMY, not money.

(Not to mention, how high ARE BTS's sales in Europe relative to Asia and the U.S.? Are fans there buying Weverse merch and music, and premium streaming or are they availing themselves of bootlegs and free ARMY content? Hopefully fans have been showing that there's $$ there to be made.)

Though, imo, Hybe should at least pick ONE European country to jump through hoops for, and hold 8-10 shows there and anyone in Europe who wants to see them can hop on planes, trains and automobiles and go there for them. Much easier for fans to travel than the whole production.

Sorry, I rambled too much.

I'm really getting tired of them only having concerts in a few Asian countries and the US... PLEASE let bts' tour be an actual world tour because I will cry 😭
