Another combi I wanna talk about are Angemon and Pidmon.

Pidmon's name is derived from the word cupid. In some localizations it's transliterated as Piddomon.

More than a simple palette swap, there are multiple small details that differentiate Pidmon from Angemon, but the most notable one would be that Pidmon has fewer wings than Angemon.

This is because Pidmon has the lowest rank among Angel Digimon. An Angel Digimon's rank is reflected in their number of wings. This doesn't always equal power however, as the Reference Book describes Pidmon's power to be on par with Angemon.

Pidmon has 1 pair of wings, Darcmon 2 pairs, Angemon 3 pairs, MagnaAngemon and Angewomon both have 4 pairs, Seraphimon and Ophanimon have 5 pairs, and finally Lucemon has 6 pairs of wings. Also Lucemon Chaos Mode and Mastemon have 6 light and 6 dark wings each.

Sad to say the only level 6 I know that plays tamers from the trash currently is Purple Cherubimon still, so it’s purple hybrid. (one of my favorite decks honestly)

first build is a monocolor version, unsure how it’d work in practice. The second build is a close build to a deck I still play today with a few adjustments (such as the inclusion of the wendigomon)
