I started this piece on July 2nd and didn't finish it until September 14th. I ended up completely losing inspiration shortly after I started it. In the end I just decided to finish it so I could move onto something new that I actually wanted to do. Overall I still like it and it was still good practice, but it does feel a little lifeless to me.

I'm in my first year of college and with being my first time really trying to develop my skills in art, it's a little hard to figure out what makes and keeps me inspired. The change in season is definitely bringing some more ideas to my mind though. I'm really excited to finally be doing this even as just a hobby and I'm excited to share it with others too. :)

I've always loved painting but I never put much effort in when I was younger because I thought I wouldn't be good at it. A couple months ago though I got the urge to paint again after years of not and decided to actually put effort in. About halfway through I did some minor research on color theory, techniques and how paint actually works, etc. I played around with a few different things to start learning what I like doing and what gives me the result I want. For it being my first actual painting I'm very proud. It took from the 5th of June to the 29th.

The final results of all my works will also be posted on my Ig but I'll post progress and more behind the scenes type things on here.

I finally got a real camera and I love it so much! It's a Canon PowerShot SX70. I'm still learning how to use it but I've got some pretty good pictures with it already.
