Enid is evil through apathy. The worst kind of evil. When someone hurts you intentionally, maliciously, you can hurt them back. Get revenge. But how do you punish someone who doesn’t care? She’ll never understand and she’ll never learn. She just can’t be bothered.

Enid is passive and pathetic. It’s impressive, actually, how many people she hurts without even meaning to, without knowing that she does. She has a job running scam phone calls and it pays like shit but she just can’t be bothered to search for something else, let alone get the qualifications for a better paying job.

Goose is her first and (probably) only child. Unplanned pregnancy. She doesn’t know who his father is. She does not care.

(Goose’s dad’s name is Brian Wilson. No, not that Brian Wilson. The BNL song Brian Wilson. He’s never met Goose so he’ll probably never get drawn but still.)

She doesn’t hate Goose or anything, she doesn’t really hate anyone. He’s just an obstacle that occasionally demands effort. Eventually baby Goose learns that his mom is not doing anything more than the bare minimum for him. No amount of crying will get you a bedtime story if she doesn’t feel like it. Don’t bother. Learn to amuse yourself.

By the time Goose is like, twelve, he and his mom are basically just distant roommates. The situation works fine for Enid, and for Goose it’s the only thing he’s ever known, so he doesn’t know how fucked it is. Plus, all the other kids at school are complaining about how their mom is always on their case telling them to clean their room and do their homework, so having a mom who doesn’t give a shit if you’re suspended and buying cigarettes with your spare change sounds like the coolest thing ever.

Even as an adult Goose doesn’t really understand how awful his mom was. People have tried to explain it to him, but at some point everyone gives up. Maybe it’s kinder if he doesn’t know what parents are supposed to be like.

She doesn’t miss him when he winds up in jail. He misses her, just a little bit. Even if she wasn’t much, she was still his mom, for whatever that’s worth. Nice to come home and see someone, even if she hardly talks to you. Nice to be seen, if not acknowledged.

Jonny was near silent as he walked straight up to the counter where a man with thick horns was cleaning a glass. He had an eye latch on a heavily scarred side of his face and a gun at his hip.

"Now you've been knocking around here for a few weeks with Billy's boy." The man looked bemused. "Tell me why drum up all the fuss? What brings you back here? Brought your little friends for what?"

Jonny balled his fists and shook. "You don't recognize me?"

The man leans forward and chuckles. "Oh, I see it now, all grown up, aren't ya. Are you looking to pick up where you left off? I'm always happy to put ya back to work."

Jonny grits his teeth. "Ain't here for that Jack. I ain't here for you, and I ain't here for that kid me." His nails dig into the stone counter.

Jack laughs. "Oh, you think a little growling will scare me? Boy, you best be learning this is my town and -" he stops as Jonny grabs his throat.

Jonny growls. "I've killed you once before, and I'll do it again." His tail was lashing behind him. He pulls Jack over the counter to the floor. He starts to attack, and Jack tries to fight back, but he has experience of countless fights under his beltd to this poor excuse of a warlord.

"Why boy?" Jack spits now, breathing heavy on the floor with Jonny's knee on his chest. "I made you what you are."

"I was a kid." Jonny lifts his knee to just have it come down hard into Jack's stomach. "I just wanted someone to care! I hoped you would have been different."

Jack coughs. "W"

"NO!" Jonny breaks his arm. "You don't get to say shit not anymore." The scream doesn't phase him. "I WAS A CHILD! I JUST WANTED SOMEONE TO CARE ABOUT ME." He breaks his other arm. "You made me a weapon. You broke me just as much as Father did. I want my childhood back. I want a father who loved me. I want my mom back."

Jack spits blood into Jonny's face. "I made you a man! That cunt took my fucking eye."

Jonny punches him in the face. "A man? A MAN? I was a child! A fucking child!" He pulls out a pocket knife. "If she took that one, I'll take the other. I'm merely what you made me. I'm just a monster. Nobody will and ever could love me. You taught me that. Father taught me that. Carmillia taught me that. Nastya leaving taught me that. I keep falling for it." He takes his knife and crudely carves out Jack's good eye. "Taste the fruits of your labor!" He slams the knife into the floor. He tosses the eye aside. He spits at Jack and stares at his hands covered in blood and starts to cry.

Nastya was frozen in her spot. No wonder Aurora hated her. Jonny should hate her.

Marius was doing his best to comfort Jr. Who was crying.

Brian wanted to reach out and comfort him.

Ivy was thinking of anything that could possibly help.

Ashes wanted to burn this damn place down.

Tim rushed forward, but a shot rang out, and it barely missed him. His eyes followed and stared at a woman.

Her heels clicked against the tile floor. She holstered her gun and stopped right next to Jonny. She crouched down next to Jonny. Her voice was quiet and sweet. "My little Sand Skipper, I'm sorry I'm late." She wipes away Jonny's tears. "I'm sorry I couldn't find you. I'm sorry you had to live through this again." She gently pressed her forehead against Jonny's. "Could you forgive me?"

Jonny lunged forward, hugging the woman tightly and just crying.

Kids in the Archive: Episode 2

the long-awaited follow up to my kids in the archive series, where i highlight the original scripts i have uncovered from iconic kids in the hall sketches and showcase the changes between script and screen.

Previous Episodes: Episode 1 - armada finale ("do we make it?")

today we're traveling all the way back to S1E8 for the classic Fran & Gordon sketch The Vacation.

fran & gordon, and the entire wilson family for that matter, have always been some of my favorite recurring characters mostly because Fran is my own mother's favorite KITH character. even before I started watching the show myself, I remember her quoting the "salty ham" sketch to me as a kid, and since kids in the hall has become such a part of our lives she often compares herself to fran with her own quaint mom mannerisms. my personal favorite fran & gordon sketch is the one where their son gets caught trying to steal gordon's wallet in the middle of the night, though i loved their reappearance in the revival season too.

The Opening

this sketch is fairly faithful to its script in the opening, with the only major difference being fran's outfit in the description. this is understandable, as the outfit in the sketch still captures a similar vibe and contrasts nicely with the orange-and-yellow color scheme of the kitchen itself. otherwise, only small phrases are substituted likely for pacing.

The Extra Wilson Family Lore

the only major deviation between these two versions of the sketch is a page of dialogue between fran and gordon which takes place before it's revealed brian didn't come home the previous night

once again, i can assume this exchange was cut for the purpose of pacing since the sketch is already on the longer end of kith scenes, and while there aren't any jokes i'm devastated to have missed, i do love how all of this added info is so in-character that of course this is something else they'd have in mind preparing for their vacation. however, the addition of this page does modify our understanding of fran's behavior: in the show version, her obsessive checking of the stove seems to be a coping mechanism consciously made so she can wait to see if brian walks in before she leaves. in the script, though, she doesn't remember this fact until gordon mentions her son directly. this implies that while the stove behavior was still motivated by brian, it was likely subconscious, or perhaps she is like this every time she travels.

The Ending

unlike our previous entry, this script does not include an extra ending beat, and instead ends a beat earlier with this line:

however, that might not be the case. most scripts i've found have the word "(FADE)" after the last line signifying the sketch is done, and this page instead ends with the stage direction above. it's entirely possible there's a page of this script i do not have in my possession, but for now this script does not include the final punchline of gordon's schedule having alotted time for a family blowout.

overall, this is one of the more faithful script-to-screen adaptations in my kith collection, likely because it was a table read script, while the armada script was a rough draft. while i was in toronto last time, bruce taught me that there was a different font and formatting used depending on which stage of development a script was in, with rough drafts, table read scripts, and shooting scripts all present. this script was at a stage where the writer(s) would be sharing it with the rest of the troupe, but other jokes could still easily be slotted in. my favorite jokes of this sketch, "why don't you just cut out my heart and put it in the bird feeder!" and "well, if you do get drunk, do it in the basement so you won't fall down the stairs" are nowhere to be found, but the general structure is as sturdy as the wilson family matriarch

Jim Hawkins: Joesph Gordon Levitt (the leader of the mothership; he also supports for silver to make him feel better. He’s the leader of the ship)

John silver: Brian Murray (a cook and a cyborg who accidentally got his stomach upset thanks to kwazzi)

Delbert Doppler: David Hyde pierce (a doctor who’s friends with peso and also cares and worries about silver)

Captain Amelia: Emma Thompson ( she’s the captain of the team. She also wants to support him for making him feel better)

B.E.N: Martin short (a robot who’s friends with Jim Hawkins and Sora on their mission)

Morph: Dane. A. Davis ( a bubble and slivers sidekick)

Sarah Hawkins: Laurie metcalf (Jim Hawkins single mother who is always on Jim’s and Sora’s side)

Captain barnacles: Simon green wall (the leader of the oconauts)

Shellington: Keith wickham ( a genius and a scientist who knows what’s going on on the case)

You know how George and Pattie never had children? I think this would have negative consequences on girl George somehow like I think people would speculate on her being infertile and talk about how she’s depriving men of fatherhood and it wouldn’t help that she was already one of the weird girls and people would moralize about how she doesn’t understand the gift that is motherhood a lot, especially if we’re going off the idea of John having Julian and suffering with ppd. Like they’d be pit against each other (“even John settled down!”) or lumped together as failures as women especially in contrast to Paul (and Ringo I think). George also seems the most likely in my eyes to get an abortion but also it’s the 60s so it would probably be very dangerous and would have disastrous consequences media-wise if it ever came out. Thinking of Brian being not very helpful in this scenario because he can’t decide whether he wants to support her decision to get an abortion and help her or if he’s too worried about the media finding out.

I’m not sure if Ringo has Zak in this universe but if she does it makes things even worse for John and George because she’s so maternal. Like behind the scenes I don’t think ringo would actually be that great of a mother especially because I think she’d still have issues with alcoholism, but she’d probably have them more in the “wine mom” sense where people laugh about it and don’t register it as a problem , and her media persona is already the mother of the group so people really don’t recognize any of her issues.

I also think in sheatles universe The Beach Boys should also at least partially be girls. In this universe I think they’d have kept their og name the Pendletones, I also think Brian and Dennis would be the women. Dennis would 100% get the Courtney love treatment she’d be seen as a total bitch hated by the media and given she was the only one actually into surf culture I think this would have a negative impact but I dunno how. Once she dies tho she does have a group of dedicated fans who want to understand her and respect her like how Anna Nicole Smith and Marylin Monroe have now. (Also trying to wrap my head around how girl Dennis dating Mike Loves alleged daughter would have gone. Because it’s important to me that that’s still part of the lore that Dennis was having a possibly incestuous relationship with Mike Loves daughter).

Girl Brian… I’m fascinated with the concept of girl Brian. Brian is already so infantilized by the media (partially his own doing but you know), I believe she’d be fairly heavily put into the “born pretty yesterday” trope by the media. The media would 100% oscillate between praising her genius and making her out to be this totally useless attractive face.

I think she’d technically have her mental issues addressed way earlier than the 70s but it would not be productive at all like instead of getting her schizoaffective disorder treated she’d be labeled as hysterical so fast. Oh my god her body would be commented on so much more; people still give credit to Eugene Landy for “saving Brian” (aka starving him so he was thin) it would be soooo much worse in a universe where Brian is a woman people would be making horrible rumors about her like they did to Cass Elliot. People would be more willing to recognize her as having an eating disorder than they do guy Brian but I don’t think it would garner a lot of respect. I can’t see girl Brian getting pregnant tho probably because I can’t see her dating a 14 (15?) year old especially when Murray was their manager he already smacked them in front of fans he would be so much more controlling if he had daughters.

I do think they would all still be seen as revolutionaries in some ways like I do think Brian would still have an unprecedented amount of control over the studio in the beginning and their harmonies would still be considered great but I’m not sure people would find Brian’s falsetto as impressive if he were a girl. Mike Love wouldn’t have to sue for credits on songs because as a man he’d be seen as way more of a driving force than he’s considered today. When Brian cedes a lot of control post 1967 I think there would be a feeling of like “well she had a good run but now it’s time for a man to do a man’s job and actually run things.” I don’t know if there would be as much of a push for the “Brian is back” campaign in this universe because again they’d think it was time for the boys (in this universe Mike, Carl, Al and I guess Bruce) to step up. I also do enjoy the thought of Brian still writing all those car songs considering it’s such a male dominated interest and I do think there would be some sort of talk amongst guy fans of “wow a woman that shares my interests she’s my dream girl.”

There’s a lot of songs in The Beach Boys catalogue that have been rightfully criticized like “I Wanna Pick You Up” or “Hey Little Tomboy” and I dunno if they would be written if Brian was a woman but if they were it would still be criticized but I think there would be a lot of speculation as well or like, was there some form of sexual abuse going on which in girl Brian’s life I unfortunately think probably would have happened.

I also think the implications of Dr. Landy having so much control over Brian in the 70s and 80s being so so so bad like I just frankly think she’d be taken advantage of even more than male Brian. I’m not sure how Melinda saving Brian would play out.

There’s a part of me that thinks Brian would have ended up with Al Jardine (in which case I think things actually would probably have been way better for her because Al doesn’t have a lot of controversies and seems like a pretty stable guy all around). I can imagine the anger on Murray’s part extremely early years if Brian and Al were like high school sweethearts and it seemed like Al was going to provide a stable life going off to be a dentist and then joined back in the band at the last minute. I actually really like the idea of high school sweethearts girl!Brian and Al. Considering they were “America’s band” there’s a lot of PR that could come from that of this perfect couple playing in a wholesome band where they make songs about going to the county fair together, but then Al would probably be given more credit than he actually had (which was admittedly quite minimal). Meanwhile behind the scenes Brian is losing her mind and Al is just not sure what to do with this new “hysterical” version of her. Oh! It would also make a lot of sense for Brian to constantly take Mike and Al’s side later on with decisions about new managers if she was not only scared of Mike but also siding with her husband.

Ooh I hadn't considered girl Dennis! That does kinda make sense though considering from what I understand Dennis was sort of brought into the group as an afterthought for the sake of including him, and as a girl I'm sure she'd be even more of a black sheep. But then on the other hand she'd probably be the most eye-catching of the group as the "surfer babe" archetype, which means I think they wouldn't want to keep her behind the drums lol. And if she and Brian are both girls that could add another layer to the comfort they find in one another as the trainwrecks of their family, while probably also Dennis envying how Brian gets to be more than just the looks and gets at least some respect as a true artist and musician. I don't know if Murry would still be physically abusive to girl Dennis, but I could see it if she's inclined to instigate trouble, and then there'd be the betrayal from Brian and Audree not sticking up for her more.

(No comment on marrying Mike Love's estranged daughter djgdgj it's so insane to me. I could see there being some element of girl Dennis looking like a pervert cougar though)

So I've got a lot of thoughts about girl Brian (and I want to pause for a second to say that you should totally check out the book "Summer Fun" by Jeanne Thornton, which is a speculative alternate history imagining what if the person in Brian Wilson's position had been a closeted trans woman and it explores her journey of discovery coinciding with their version of Smile as she approaches an ambitious project and intends to come out but gets shut down, and it's really moving and earnest. @telephonicsonnyboy turned me on to it and I appreciate that ❤️) and I'm probably gonna put them below a cut right now!

First off, regarding Marilyn. I've decided not to genderflip her and so instead the dynamic between her and Brian is more that Marilyn admires and wants to emulate her musically and Brian latches onto her as a friend because she has trouble relating to other women her age whose lives seem to revolve around their boyfriends or husbands. And maybe Mike gets a bit annoyed at Brian's fascination with girl groups like, "oh yeah why don't you just go be in one then?"

I have thought about her and Al Jardine, and I do definitely believe that the media would make them out to be this sweet forbidden love story, forbidden because her brothers and Murry would've threatened to kick him out of the band if he ever tried to sleep with her. My thought was that she ends up kissing Al just to get it over with and relieved when the sparks aren't there and they can just be friends, but I also like the idea of him being one of her constant on-off flames.

Now I think of Brian as a lesbian who doesn't realize it for a long time because she figures that as long as she's technically capable of being with a guy her attraction to girls doesn't really matter, and I see her eventually entering a romantic relationship with Melinda and coming to terms with herself having that safe harbor. As for her first husband, I imagine him being sort of a Van Dyke Parks type who sees her potential as a groundbreaking songwriter and briefly becomes her collaborator, and she gets pregnant partially on purpose to get out of the stress of touring and have more time to work on her music at home. Of course this backfires when being a mother turns out very physically and emotionally taxing on her, with her husband not doing much to support her because he doesn't see what he's supposed to do.

Also, for sure Mike would be seen as much more of a legitimate collaborator to Brian (and subsequently get in a big dick competition with her husband), but I think also Carl would be a lot more actively creative early on just due to pressure from Murry like, "if your sister can do it why don't you boys ever show some initiative?" So I think Brian wouldn't have been saddled so much with the responsibility of being the Genius of the band, but her being there and playing and writing her own stuff would be significant enough on its own, and I think she'd get a lot of attention from various counterculture and women's lib groups to mixed effect. There'd definitely be criticism of her more traditional expression of womanhood which would put her on the defensive, but overall the recognition would help a lot to boost her ego at least until her mental collapse.

Landy, right. Oof. For the record, I don't want to openly speculate on what he might've done to real Brian (though I will say there's a non-zero chance, considering that when Landy was under investigation he was apparently found to have had a rape allegation with another patient that he'd settled out of court, and in general he gives me the vibe of a controlling gold-digging spouse), but with girl Brian that's especially likely. And then that in turn makes Melinda all the more empathetic and horrified and righteously angry at Brian's fucked up pseudo-marriage with her doctor.

1. the crew must, at some point, pull off a massive caper-style heist. idk what they steal, idk why. but they’re all dramatic, queer, and eternally bored, CMON ofc they do it. i need marius sitting in a van talking to everyone through earpieces. tim the whistling janitor with a duffel bag full of bombs. femme fatale brian/jonny/raphaella/idc but SOMEBODYS gotta put on the slit dress+sparkly earrings. Laurie gathers her mousy brown hair into a ponytail, with a simple smile.

Making it onto the high school field hockey team is a major achievement. If she was a boy, she'd be on the high school football team, and Daddy would be so proud.

But instead, Mom is just proudly hanging up her stupid little brother's history tests on the fridge. She wishes she could get an A, in anything other than gym.

Glaring at the ninety-eight with particular ire, Laurie whips open the fridge, grabbing a carton of orange juice. "Didn't he get a C on his book report?"

Mom sighs, setting the pancakes on a serving plate. "He tried to write about To Kill a Mockingbird, again."

"I don't know why you don't join cheer with us." Laurie is catapulted back to current events, as Janice Bradley dramatically sighs. "It's fun."

"The popular kids aren't fun. Cheryl, Jodie..." Laurie trails off, with a defiant groan. "This is fun."

"Well, all the butch lesbians are on the field hockey team. Minus Sherri."

Laurie smirks, glancing across the field. On the bench, Sherri is proudly perched on Brian's lap, like a big, gangly bird.

"Brian's an idiot. I don't know what she sees in him."

"You said Michael Kelso is cute," Roni Russo finally chimes in, "Isn't he eleven?"

"Twelve. He got held back in first grade for killing the class bunny."

"Sounds promising." Annie Horowitz, the nerdiest of the bunch, is only here because book club was canceled. "I don't know what they were thinking, inviting a precocious sixth grader into the book club. She's in elementary school, and she should stay there."

Laurie's already heard the story, dozens of times. Something about how a certain sixth grader tried to bring a huge stack of banned books into the fold, while bringing an errand boy that constantly compared himself to a wayward Atticus Finch.

"She almost made it into MENSA."

"Almost. She flunked the math part," Laurie notes, grabbing her hockey stick, "Can we stop talking about my brother and his stupid little friends? They're losers..."

Suddenly, the coach's whistle roars, summoning the girls onto the field. For a little more practice, some finishing touches, before their first big game.

"Like us," Laurie hopelessly mutters, as she sprints out onto the field.

15) why did you start writing?

you know, i'm not really sure! it's been a hobby of mine since before i really have clear childhood memories, so i assume it was just on a creative little whim or something. when i was a young kid i would write and illustrate stories starring my favorite stuffed bear on construction paper and my mom would three-hole punch them so we could bind them into little books with yarn. i started writing fanfiction because i stumbled across it on the internet as a tween when i was obsessed with the redwall books and there was a specific type of story in the redwall 'verse that i wanted to exist and i knew brian jacques wasn't going to give to me (i wanted a story set in the redwall future that treated mariel of redwall's lore the same way that most of the books treated martin the warrior's lore) (that would also be about mariel and dandin being in love). also in the seventh grade i wrote a short story for my language arts class and my teacher loved it and read it to all of his other classes and i was like..... oh no i love this validation........ i should write more.............

Phil lore? Phil lore.

His minecraft skin is literally just Urahara from Bleach

He's the hardcore man! Had a 5 year hardcore world where he died to a baby zombie (technically he actually died to a spider but the baby zombie is funnier and we all blame it on him). Still does super long-running hardcore worlds and that's most of what he streams. References to his hardcore world death are actually in the game itself (occasional home screen splash text reading "Ph1lzA had a good run!")

In lore SMPs when in-character he often refers to the Hardcore world as "Dad's train sets in the basement" or similar.

Usual Nicknames include: Dadza, Birdza, Killza, Weebza, Oldza, etc etc. Just slap -za at the end. Also Kristin's Husband, Tech Guy (on Kristin's streams), Crowfather, The Only Man Ever, Bravest Man, Philza Minecraft, Angel Of Death, etc etc. People also often refer to him as "old" because he is 33 and is generally the oldest member of different SMPs (was the oldest member of the Dream SMP and is oldest member of the SBI).

SBI stands for Sleepy Boys Inc. (or Sleepy Bois Inc.) and is a group comprised of Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and later addition Tommyinnit. Phil is considered the dad-friend of the group, thus his dad-themed nicknames/lore.

He is Philza Minecraft because he made Minecraft alongside Hatsune Miku* (*He is very good at Minecraft)

You may occasionally hear the song "Philza Minecraft is so brave / He's the bravest man I ever met" (other verses include lines such as "Philza Minecraft is a dentist") This originated from Tommyinnit's "Colossal TNT Mod" video.

Crowfather is from Origins SMP, where he is a very literal birb man who causes mischief. Crowfather also cameo'd on Rats SMP where he was an even more literal crow and thought the mom of the house (voiced by his IRL wife, Kristin) was hot.

Father status varies depending on server/fanon but generally ranges anywhere from biological or adoptive father of one-to-three (Wilbur Soot, Tommyinnit, Technoblade) (and adoptive great-grandkids through Fundy again)

Took over the world with Technoblade once (SMP Earth, Antarctic Empire)

"Angel of Death" originates from SMP Earth and that alongside his renowned skill with elytra are why he is generally depicted as having wings (particularly because he almost always has his elytra equipped on any world where he has one). Because he has a custom cape/elytra based on Urahara that makes his wings dark grey/black, people started depicting him as a crow, which merged with the Angel of Death thing due to crow associations with death. The wings were already a solid part of his fanon design before he joined the Dream SMP (though they weren't solidly crow wings yet) though quickly became fanon due to Sad-ist's animations - which is also why you'll often see him with one or both wings tattered, due to that design (dsmp fanon being that his wings were damaged in the explosion of L'Manberg while he was protecting Wilbur from it and thus why he can't fly on that server).

His chat is canonically crows after it being fanon for awhile (due to the above) until somebody mentioned it to him through TTS on a random hardcore stream and he said he liked the idea due to the mental image of literally throwing lore crumbs to the birds.

His TTS bot is named Brian, and is often depicted as a robot crow. Whenever Phil goes AFK on stream his mod/VIPs will make Brian make noises/sing ("ourna" and "7777777" are common). Usually this is IanBealio (best mod) or Wolfythewitch (renowned Philza fanartist). Ian is also often depicted as Phil's main crow, usually with an orange version of Phil's Urahara bucket hat.

Sometimes Phil's wife, Kristin (mc/twitch name Misstrixtin, also known as Mumza, since Phil is Dadza), will randomly sneak up on Phil to shoot him with a nerf gun during stream. She also runs his clips channel. She's also American. We love her lots and lots. Favorite parent. She thinks being drawn as a death goddess is super cool. Also something you may see in designs of her occasionally is that she has a white streak in the back of her hair. She thinks it's cool when that detail is included (and the DSMP fandom likes to combo that with her in the DSMP being Fundy's grandmother, since Fundy IRL also has white streaks in his hair, so his character is often depicted with them as well).

Phil's hardcore worlds have lore! Lots of lore. Current world's main lore is that there are a bunch of gods that had a war against the End King who tried to steal everything and each build in the world is based off of the events of that war. Gods include the End King, the Blaze Empress, the Ocean Overlord, and Rose (Flower deity). This lore is very loose though and not critical to understanding or enjoying his hardcore series. It's just worldbuilding for projects, not an RP world.

Also one time in this world after he fought the End dragon a bunch to open up all the end portals, apparently during those fights the dragon glitched through portals twice and ended up in the outer end islands, so later when exploring he had to fight two Ender Dragons at once, mid-air over the void before they returned to the main island destroyed his custom End Island. On Hardcore. There's a video about it, It's called the Fight For Endlantis. (Endlantis being his custom End island, which is completely submerged in water)

In his Hardcore world lore, Phil is friends with the Blaze Empress, who lives in Nether Void (big black concrete box Phil built for his nether project). She's a big blaze lady goddess, which is most likely what influenced people to depict Death Goddess Mumza as a giant goddess as well.

Phil also says he likes the idea of Mumza being giant compared to him because again, his minecraft skin is Urahara, so Giant Wife reminds him of Urahara's Bankai.

You may hear about "Emerald Duo" or the "Friendship emeralds" sometimes - this is from DSMP lore. Techno gave Phil an emerald once renamed to "Friendship Emerald" and that became their duo name. Phil and Techno are often depicted in fanart as wearing matching emeralds as accessories.

There's also a running joke based on DSMP lore that he fucked a fridge, because one time Wilbur insisted his character's mother was a Samsung Smart Refrigerator.

You may hear about something called "Colorzas," particularly around MCC time. This is a mostly-fanon driven AU where there are different Phils with different colors, and each color has a different personality and design. For most MCCs he'll put on a skin based on a Colorza. There's a whole carrd for this and it's on Phil's fandom wiki but most of the names are just like Redza, Blueza, Pinkza, etc etc. Except for Voidza (Greyza), Pissza (Yellowza), and. Cumza (Whiteza). Orangeza is also sometimes jokingly just Phil's mod Ian. The only "true canon" Colorza (the colorza that appears in any smp lore) is Redza, who semi-canonly cameo'd once on the Dream SMP. His main personality traits are that's he's chaotic and evil.

You may hear about "Boosty Cars" - this is referring to Rocket League, which Phil plays often and streams sometimes on his secret alt twitch. He also sometimes plays other games there. He's also a big Halo player and iirc I think he was actually a nationally ranked Halo player for a bit?

You may also sometimes hear about Terra Swoop Force - this is a Minecraft map made by Noxcrew (the MCC people) (aka that one TGTTOSAWAF map) that Phil is Really Good At. Again, this feeds into why he's depicted as a bird.

I was tagged by the lovely @aeide in the 10 favorite movies challenge!

Gladiator. No movie will ever make me feel the way this movie does -- it is just pure happiness for me that is evoked whenever it starts playing. Don't even get me started on the soundtrack too!! Also Joaquin Phoenix makes for some amazing eye candy in this film :D

2. Wonder Woman (2016). This is another movie that rocked my world. When it dropped in 2016, I was still a teenager and it literally changed my whole perception of myself and I adore it to this day. Also love that the actress who plays Hippolyta looks IDENTICAL to my Mom and I lowkey look like Wonder Woman; so it made it extra special :)

3. Avatar: The Way of Water. This movie was INSANE. My jaw was on the floor the entire time with the graphics/CGI and the acting was insane. While I am not super invested in the series/lore, this movie always comes to mind when I think of best movies I have ever seen. I am genuinely SO psyched for the next movie in this series.

4. The Blues Brothers. I was raised on this movie so it holds a special place in my heart.

5. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. No movie has ever made me cry laughing before besides this one (and Life of Brian). A+ jokes that I quote to this day.

6. Monty Python; Life of Brian. Same as above but make it Roman.

7. 300. Classicists forgive me.. I hate this movie with a BURNING passion but the only thing that makes me include this movie on my tier list is the killer soundtrack and the hotness that is Gerard Butler. (Hope I get me a man like that fr fr). Other than that, it is a positive cringefest for every history fan!

8. All Quiet on the Western Front. This was a movie that was amazingly shot and had me thinking about for days after. Absolutely heart wrenching.

9. Brokeback Mountain. Gay cowboys, my beloved. Hurts the heart but we love it (especially since I grew up on a farm and have always ridden horses/been exposed outright to cowboy culture).

9. Woman in Gold. I love this movie and I love the art of Gustav Klimt so so much. Making this post reminded me that I am overdue for a rewatch of the film!!!!

10. Alien: Prometheus. I think my best friend would have my head if I didn't add this one in.. Soundtrack is amazing and I love the lore of the universe! (I am also horrified of David :) )

Character Intros For The Changeling Trilogy

So, I have news . . .

I started the first draft of Book 1 of the Changeling Trilogy! I’m only about a chapter and a half in, but I’m delighted with how it’s turning out so far. Due to interruptions from family, focusing on it has been a bit of a debacle though. But enough of that, let’s meet the characters. All the changelings are canonly autistic, since A, I am and B, that's probably the original basis for changeling lore anyhow.

River Collins

The main protagonist, a Failed changeling made to take the place of a specific person.

She’s got magic that eventually manifests during Book 1, but it’s mostly good for big flashy combat stuff, and it is NOT easy to control, it’s basically turned on by her fight-or-flight response because she has no training.

Her other thing is keeping a clear head during chaos. She can stay outwardly calm and functional during almost any situation, even if she pays the price with a crying meltdown later once things are settled. River’s always had the autistic feeling of not belonging in her human life, but she discovers that when she's with other changelings, she's in her element and kind of a natural leader, because they get her more than most humans do.

She’s also a huge zoology nerd, I plan to have several scenes of her geeking out over all the weird magical creatures in the Fae Kingdoms.

Luke and Brian Collins

River’s Dads!! They’re alive, they’re happily together, and they’re supportive of anything their little girl does, even if that’s leading a rebellion in a magical underworld. Think Sally Jackson but they’re a nerdy gay couple.

Snaketongue

Our love interest. Sharp features, fair skin, messy dark hair. Like all changelings that weren’t made to impersonate a specific human, he’s got some nonhuman features and abilities. In his case, a forked tongue like a snake and slit-pupiled yellow eyes. He’s got an amazing sense of smell, he can pick out and identify almost any scent in any situation.

Snaketongue was the closest thing the group had to a leader before River took charge, and he still sometimes resents her and chafes against her decisions. He can be cocky, headstrong, hotheaded, and impulsive, but he’s got a good heart and is unswervingly loyal if you can actually manage to earn his trust and respect. River eventually manages to, and from that point on they’re best friends (and also mutual pining idiots).

Cami

She’s the group’s resident chaos gremlin, bringing her own brand of cheerful, earnest mayhem to everything she does. Loud and friendly and silly, the life of the party and the one who tries to cheer everybody up when morale is low.

Cami has a mohawk-like ridge of scales on her head instead of hair, and smaller patches of scales across her body. She can change the color of both her skin and scales at will, to either stand out or blend in.

Whisper & Spider

Aka just The Twins, they’re cynical, brutally honest, and willing to do just about anything for the people they care about. Also kinda codependent tbh. They’re tiny for their age, more like the size of a human ten-year-old. They have thin, iridescent black feathers instead of head and body hair, sharp talon-like clawed nails, and they can move unnervingly quietly.

Star

The group’s magical healer, bioluminescent night light, and Mom Friend™. She’s tall, slim, and albino with long hair and a long, thin, whiplike prehensile tail.

Alenza

The girl River was crafted to replace, who’s alive and well as the wife of a prince in one of the Fae Kingdoms. She’s always been told she was saved from an unsafe human family, so when she finds out the truth, it causes an identity crisis that sends her spiralling into a full-blown villain arc.
