I'm not late you're late - New Shit Overview - Limbus Company - BP EGO:
Overview of all the Battle Pass EGO, plus with nice art from various artists i follow, that being said
please follow and support the original artists, all art is credited, with links to original artist source + other main accounts.
No the art isn't strictly necessary but I like using this as an excuse to shoutout some artists i like
Yearning - Mircalla Meursault:
Src: Project Moon (yes this is the PV, Art of this hasn't come across my dash/feed on any media i use for art :(, this is a placeholder, i'll probably make something for this)
can roll for up to 29 if the enemy has 12 bleed, rolls for 21 without conditionals this is essentially a better version of Sanguine desire rodion it is able to proc bleed-damage 5 times when being used, which is higher than the 2x damage that Sanguine Desire Rodion can deal, not to mention the fact that Rodion Deals lust damage while Meursault deals flat (bleed) damage
even more: Meursault's EGO needs 4+ resonance, not 4+ Absolute Resonance as Rodion does for highest results
This EGO also has a unique effect: Rose Wedge:
""Basically"" Max count is 4: This effect's count is applied through Meursault's EGO, up to a max of 4; Count is reduced at round en Max Potency is 10: Every time the unit with this effect takes 10 Bleed damage, increase potency by one. When this unit gains bleed through getting hit, inflict 1 bleed on attacker and 2 bleed on self. At 10 Potency, also gain +1 bleed count. [Combat end]: At either 10 Potency or 1 count, this effect expires, and deals [Potency x10] lust damage to this unit (max 100 Lust damage) if this effect kills, deal [Potency x2] Lust damage to all this unit's allies.
This unique effect on its own deals roughly half of Rodion's sanguine desire's lust damage effect.
This EGO also shares the same finale effect as Sanguine Desire: dealing the excess damage (on fourth coin specifically, so if it kills coins 1-3 then this effect will not proc) to all other allies of that unit.
Corrosion:
this EGO corrosion makes use of Meursault's predisposition for High-HP ID's, as it consumes 10% of his own Max HP in order to deal 5% of his max hp (or rather the consumed HP/2) to all allies and enemies.
This effect does not trigger below 50% hp however, in which case he will add 5 bleed to all allies, before activating bleed on all allies and healing for the damage done (minimum (assuming 6 sinners) 30 HP, Max (assuming all allies have 99 Bleed potency) 594 HP healed)
The corrosion rolls for a whopping 1 higher than the awakening, at 30 (with conditionals)
This EGO, when corroding, does not require the same 4+ resonance that the awakening does for the first 2 Bleed damage-trigger effects, the final coin's triple trigger however does require said 4 Resonance.
The third coin of corrosion saves you some time, as if the enemy did not have Rose Wedge prior to it being inflicted, it inflicts an additional 4 potency, meaning only 60 bleed damage must occur for max damage.
-
My primary concern for this EGO is that of Bleed-count sustainability, i know that vampires are literally the bleed 'counts' but still (i am so sorry).
Namely because, the coin effect of the triple bleed activation requires a clash win, meaning that it cannot work against staggered targets; This is notable as it means the enemy requires at least 7 bleed count prior to Meursault beginning his clash, otherwise all bleed count will be consumed (1 or more from clashing, 1 each from coins 1 and 2, and then up to three from the final effect). Meursault's best bleed EGO, Rhino, is however excellent at applying bleed, as are many other ID's, the only problem therin being that those ID's have a tendency to be less effective regarding bleed potency that not.
This EGO, although i actually already wrote on it slightly in the past, makes me think about what is it that Meursault is so longing for in order to use this EGO; I know there's the line of thought with carnal desires relating to Marie back in the book, but id argue that its likely to be more than that, as if it was purely desire-driven then Heathcliff or Ishmael would have been better fits for the EGO.
His passive heals him for like up to 10 HP per turn, equal to the amount of bleed damage he deals/takes or something, i only noticed i didn't mention this at all in final editing
Yearning - Mircalla Don Quixote:
Src:@NishikujiC on twitter
This EGO rolls for up to 12 without conditionals. Coin power gained based on enemy bleed, up to 2, allows for this ego to roll for 23. And this EGO gains clash power based on BLOODFEAST CONSUMED BY **SELF** (which Don Quixote is currently unable to do, until she gains her season ID presumably) all together this EGO can clash for 23 currently, and 28 when she gets her seasonal ID.
This EGO deals more damage for each coin based on **Cumulative** Bloodfeast Consumed, which includes all allies and enemies. All coins share the same damage increase ratio, being 1% per 10 Bloodfeast Consumed (shared), or 0.1x per 1.
Coin 1 maxes out at 10% increase, requiring 100 Bloodfeast consumed; Coin 2 At 20%, needing 200. Coin 3 at 30%, needing 300. Coin 4 at 50%, needing 500 total bloodfeast consumed.
This EGO also has a unique effect, Polydipsic Rose:
Max Value: 5 Turn end: If this unit has 10+ bleed potency, take 1% max HP lust damage per value (maximum 30 Lust damage per value), then reduce value by one.
The awakening EGO applies 4 of this effect, which will deal a total of 10% max hp Lust damage (max 300 Lust damage) over its duration.
The Corrosion EGO applies 5, dealing a total of 15% max HP Lust damage (Max 450 Lust damage)
When used in Corrosion:
this EGO will roll for 30, being a negative coin EGO. It additionally has the Yaoi-Meursault effect of unyielding until the skill is finished, where her HP cannot drop below 1.
On use, gain 20 bleed, activate bleed on self, and reduce bleed count on self by 2; this can theoretically be useful for removing potentially fatal bleed count on self, however i believe its intended use is to instead stack more latent bloodfeast for the bloodfiend ID's to use.
Funnily enough, due to her passive "Spring Crimson Blossom", she is less likely to roll heads if this EGO has been used previously this combat, as she will heal a whopping 2 SP due to the 20 bleed damage on self.
This EGO corrosion is able to inflict 22 bleed potency, 2 through a [before attack] effect if under 150 bloodfeast; 1 for every 50 Bloodfeast consumed (total) up to a max of 10 and 500 consumed. 10 inflicted when under 100 bloodfeast.
on the second coin, it deals 20% increased damage for every 100 total Bloodfeast consumed, up to a max of 100% increase. additionally, this EGO will heal Don for 50% of the damage that coin dealt, exactly like Le Sangre De Sancho, except this healing is maxed at 10 per target, for a max of 70 healing. 70 Healing is nothing to scoff at in the slightest, but at the same time, the other self healing-damage dealing EGO in the game, Wingbeat, can consistently heal Ishmael to full HP Moreso, other healing EGO arent limited by the targetable enemies, making this far less useful than other healing EGO in any non-group battle situation, maybe if she had some sort of gimmick like meursault where she had 14 attack weight but only healed/dealt bleed damage on allies? idk.
Her passive heals for 1 SP every time 10 bleed damage occurs, maxed at 10.
Lasso Faust:
Src: @stellar-jasper Stellar_jasper Linktree
this EGO rolls for 13 without conditionals. This EGO gains power based on enemy rupture and speed, being able to roll for 22 total.
Before attack: Gain 2 Haste next turn.
This EGO is count negative by one, as it inflicts +2 on coin 1 of three.
This EGO's passive works well with Seven Ass. Faust due to having the same: "after attack, if enemy is staggered or defeated". This EGO passive is also able to inflict rupture count, being +1 count on 2 enemies
Lasso Hong Lou:
Src: @stellar-jasper Stellar_jasper linktree
This EGO rolls for 12 without conditionals. With conditionals (total speed (self speed + Enemy speed) and enemy Rupture) this ego rolls for 24.
This EGO is ALSO count negative, inflicting *up to* (based on glut. Resonance) +3 count on coin 3 of four.
its weird that PM has been trying to make Rupture-Bleed a thing since season 1, back with Ebony Queen's stem.
This EGO is interesting? its Rupture count negative, it inflicts rupture based on own speed?
This EGO also has an effect (Lasso Faust corrosion shares this effect but i CBA): "Lasso"
Lasso: Round end, gain rupture potency equal to speed value (max 5), then reduce count by one and gain 1 bind next turn
....
....why does it inflict based on speed count... when it drops their speed count? it drops their speed count...
This EGO actually rolls lower during corrosion, being 23 rather than 24.
In corrosion this EGO inflicts 1 extra HP healing down and Lasso effect, while inflicting 1 less rupture count (due to it losing a coin it remains at -1 count total) and +2 bleed count.
I rather like the correlation between roses and bloodfiends, linking the Rose-hunter's into being the bloodfiend hunters as only bloodfiend hunters (and also season 1's R.B. Chef de Cuisine Ryōshū) possess this effect.
The only flaw in that correlation however is that the "rose" aspect of the hunter is not it searching for roses, the "rose" descriptor is self referential, it is instead hunting apples.
on the final coin only, deal 1% more damage for every rupture, and the same effect for bleed, for a potential 60% increase total.
I don't like rupture very much so i don't have too many thoughts on that aspect, however, i am somewhat interested in the thematic surrounding this Abnormality, including both Faust and Hong Lou, alongside the fact that it was included in Don Quixote's Dungeon and Canto. Specifically, other than the obvious fairy tale motif shared by Don herself, it has the trait of a supposed "predetermined story" of sorts, as seen through both the awakening EGO lines:
Follow the predetermined path of the tale. Be ensnared, for that is only right.
Run along the flow and voilà~ There you are!
This can be related to Don herself acting "how a fixer should act" in her belief, upholding, and attempting to prove the justness of her version of justice, and her dismay when something should slight that (eg. during the casino scene of canto 2).
there is more elaboration to be made in a follow up post, i would normally write it here, however i like to avoid cross-contamination with when i discuss spoilers/new content
Hex Nail sinclair:
(There were others i just wanted an excuse to shout this artist out) Src:@shroomychan.bsky.social @Myceliumycete on tumblr
Rolls for 21 max.
Hits up to 3 enemies.
Inflicts up to 4 curse (2 min. 4 max.) and inflicts 3 nails. this EGO also consumes 2 curse on hit, and activates both those curse-effects immediately. At 4+ curse, inflict 1 same turn clash power down for some reason its clarified that it can only inflict the clash power down once per turn which.... its a 2 coin skill so Rusty Commemorative Coin doesn't work... and it's an EGO so you can't use it twice in a turn?
Corrosion:
this EGO rolls for a 25 in corrosion, becoming a negative coin skill.
the conditional for maximum curse is now removed, being 4 by default; the first coin also applies one more bleed potency. (3)
if 4+ envy resonance, this skill will inflict 1 clash power down (still same turn). For some reason the in game text feels the need to clarify "4+ envy resonance including this skill" which... yeah? that's how resonance works? None of the other EGO released this batch have these weird additional sections in their coin effects, its only Hex Nail(s)? All of the others just say "for/if X+ resonance"
additionally, this skill will have attack weight 3 by default instead of requiring envy resonance (for every 3 envy resonance INCLUDING THIS SKILL gain attack weight +1)
Passive: Gain Clash power up and defense level up if this unit has a negative effect on self at round start... This EGO doesn't have any self inflicted negative effects? Not even the corrosion has any self negative effects? Sinclair doesn't even have a self-negative effect ID yet? and i don't see him getting a bloodfiend ID for self-bleed shenanigans? idk.
ok now let me Nail Sincla
Hex Nail Rodion:
Src: minji_mj2802 on twitter Minji_mj's Carrd
Rolls for 24
After attack will heal SELF AND 2 OTHERS for 15% of THIS UNIT'S max HP. Note two things, the fact that this will always heal self (which pursuance is unable to do) and heals based on own max HP, unlike other Healing EGO like Meursault's Pursuance which heals the other sinners max HP.
Each unit being healed will heal 2.5% HP for every negative effect on self (max 10% increase to healing)
Heals self and three allies at 4+ envy resonance [[INCLUDING THIS SKILL]].
inflicts 4 Bleed, 3 curse, 3 nails.
in corrosion, this EGO rolls for 28 as a negative coin skill.
This attack will heal 3 other allies and self for 20% of this unit's max HP. every unit this heals will gain 1 offence level up for every negative effect on self (max 3) this will also heal one additional ally at 4+ envy resonance **[[INCLUDING THIS SKILL]]**
Passive:
When this unit inflicts bleed or unique bleed against an enemy with non EGO attack skills, inflict 1 defence level down (once per turn) Also inflict 2 additional bleed if target already possessed bleed or unique bleed.
If an ally, including self, takes unblocked HP damage from "the" enemy, inflict 1 curse against said enemy (2 times per turn)
I want to point out the fact that the description says from "the" enemy? i'm assuming this means that once you hit someone they gain curse if they attempt to attack someone back? Also, i'm fairly sure that Rodion is now the first to have 3 He EGO? we need someone to get a third Zayin, fourth Teth, fourth He, or second Waw to break the records now i guess
Now there are some interesting things to note about Hurting teddy bear as a whole so lets give that its own heading:
Hex Nail Primogenitor Hurting Teddy Bear:
Or i suppose happy teddy bear is the ancestor so it should be just progenitor? or is the well the primogenitor? im overthinking this.
So lets start with obvious observations: The correlation that can be made with voodoo dolls, the common idea of a cursed doll that you insert nails into, hence the status effect "Curse" first being present in this abnormalities EGO and only later appearing in another archetypically "haunted" or "Cursed" thematic of Bygone Days.
While 'Happy Teddy Bear' was a toy that was abandoned by its owner, the Hurting Teddy Bear seems to not have the same kind of integrality with its owner that its progenitor had, due to the lack of any direct mention of its owner. Rather, 'Hurting Teddy Bear' seems to be indicative of abuse or being controlled by another in life, represented through a clearly abused and neglected toy — It's less directly clear as to how this relates to Faust's past as we know, to use to technical term, "absolutely fucking nothing" about her past; Rodion's relation can be seen in her sprite and animation, with her use of the bear as a puppet (or the puppets control of her during corrosion), this is related to social determinism*, wherein the circumstances of neglect and abuse that surrounded Rodion within her past were the direct cause of her crime of murdering the pawn shop owner. we can too see this in the Corrosion line:
Now, little Rodya. Hurt them with your own hands. Fuhu, ta-da!
The obvious correlation to be made being "Hurt them with your own hands". This concept of puppetry extends in two more aspects, the first of which being Rodion's base EGO: What is Cast. specifically referring to her line during said EGO, which reinforces my posited argument with the abuse controlling her:
I couldn't undo a thing
'She' couldn't undo a thing, 'she' wasn't the one who was in control.
as for the second, i have yet to see this for myself but from what i've heard: while her face during the corrosion's idle sprite is normally somewhat dour, if zoomed in on, her expression changes to that of a normal, cheery Rodion. This can be interpreted as the consequences/circumstances of Rodion's abuse and past still controlling how she behaves to this day, while still in this company, a concept that is a fairly common sentiment ive seen as her story is far from finished.
The awakening sprite could be representative of this in reverse, her harm towards those who ARE corrupt and immoral.
Sinclair is much more direct, being the concept of abuse and exploitation by Kromer, and to some extent im sure neglect by his family — This doesn't explain the entirety of this EGO however, as the line's do not support this entirely:
Why don't you try impaling yourself with it, then. Feel what it's like to have someone curse you…
Now that you're torn, I'll sew you up! Heheh… Get over here!
Rather than just being *the* abuse that Sinclair has suffered, i believe that, while downstream of that idea, the most accurate representation is the embodiment of resentment, hatred at others who abused him over time, his seething wrath.
of course my theory is discounted because this EGO doesn't use Wrath resources.
*(which i am NOT FUCKING ADDING RODION TO I ALREADY HAVE 10 CHARACTERS IN THAT ESSAY MY GOD)

Four, telling a story: So anyway, dude’s BP is like 90/50–
Hyrule: Oof, that’s a little low.
Four, waving a dismissive hand: Oh no, it’s fine, he was chilling at like 60/30 before. So anyway, he’s doing fine while my other guy
Hyrule, whispering to Legend: Has he just become desensitized to bad vital signs?
Legend, shrugging: He works in the ICU, Rulie, bad vital signs are normal to him.
Wild, also whispering: You think he’s ever seen a BP of like 10/0 or something??
Twilight: Wild, that’s just called being dead.
#lu in healthcare#Wild still has some medical basics to learn#the other day I was talking about something that normal people apparently find bad and I was just like ‘eh 🤷🏻♀️’ and it made me laugh#Four has seen many things in the ICU it’ll take more than a soft blood pressure to make him anxious#lu four#lu legend#lu wild#lu twilight#lu hyrule

my own ranking of every rick and morty episode, inspired by the lovely @fandomwe1rd0 :3
sorry this is a bit scattered, the random quotes are just lines that i liked/found funny. i had to shorten all my reasonings by a fuck ton bcs i was just going on forever lmao, so if some things feel kinda cut off, that's why.
i binged all of rick and morty in like a week to make this, just to make sure the ranking was fully accurate to me and it took me way to long but i'm finally done !!
btw this isnt a ranking of which episodes are objectively the best, its very biased and just my personal opinions, im aware some epsiodes definitely shouldnt be as high as they are but a lot of them are just my comfort episodes 🤷
f tier: episodes i actively dislike, have little to no redeeming qualities.
71. rickdependance spray: audibly said "oh, fuck no." when i realised this was next. the rest of weird-ish episodes have some redeeming points but this one just has no plot relevance and isnt very funny.
70. raising gazorpazorp: main reason i dislike this episode is the end credit, it reminds me of when i was listening to family line and my dad insinuated conan was making it up and that if i got famous i'd do the same, like, no, if i talk abt what a shitty dad you are its bcs you were a shitty dad, do better. anyway i just thought it was an unfunny joke. due to daddy issues. also its just a boring episode.
69. a rickconvenient mort: summer and rick's storyline was ok but not enough to make up for how much i hate planetina. i liked beth in this episode. rick and summer's dynamic was nice too, but unhealthy.
e tier: episodes i don't dislike, just find boring/have bad elements but more redeeming qualities.
68. m. night shaym-aliens!: the little crystal wrestle was adorable. other than that not a super memorable episode.
67. rise of the numbericons: the movie: i didn't hate it but compared to the rest of s7 it was pretty weak. i think mr goldenfold is funny, but not enough to get his own episode. it would've been more entertaining if rick was in it lets be real, i missed him.
66. interdimensional cable 2: tempting fate: i care very little about jerry's penis. the interdimensional cable was good as usual though.
65. how poopy got his poop back: fine episode, not my fav. i liked seeing bp and squanchy again.
64. edge of tomorty: rick die rickpeat: "Damn, Morty, you're bad at maths, but I'm giving you an a-plus in confidence!" an okay episode.
63. rick: a mort well lived: pretty weak episode to follow solaricks. summer's die hard was good. some cool emotional components.
62. rattlestar ricklactia: "Hey, Morty, listen. I can tell you're pretty upset about the whole snake encounter thing, so I'll tell you what. I'm just gonna go ahead and avoid you for the rest of the day." rnm were kind of cute at the end. yk, until rick punched morty in the face :/.
61. the jerrick trap: sorry ik a lot of ppl love this episode but tho burger & fries were cute characters its not all that for me. memory rick's return, however, was all that. i love him.
60. childrick of mort: "Oh my god, grandpa, you fuck boy." rick being a space nerd <3. loved to see more of beth and rick together but other than that this episode was kinda mid.
59. amortycan grickfitti: honestly made me feel bad for jerry which isnt easy, i sort of liked rick here, he seemed reluctant to let the hell demons make fun of jerry, he still did, but even apologised with only a little prompting. can't say the same for beth. summer and morty were sweet in this episode, i wish we would get more of them.
58. rickmancing the stone: "I don't know why I'm crying." "Well... try crying 15% less?" not bad, i liked the emotional components.
57. mortynight run: again, not super memorable to me. the roy montage was good. You kind of wasted your 30's, though, with that whole birdwatching phase." the animation for the song was great.
d tier: mostly okay to good episodes with minor faults that i can look past in the general scheme of the episode.
56. one crew over the crewcoo's morty: fucked up what rick did to morty. and to mr pb, his life went to shit after this, bcs of rick.
55. night family: had some great moments, but wasnt my fav.
54. anatomy park: loved dr bloom, john oliver voiced him perfectly.
53. lawnmower dog: sweet scenes between rnm. liked the dream inceptor, loved scary terry, snuffles was good too but not as much.
52. claw and hoarder: special ricktims morty: "Are you gonna slay it?" "First off, i always slay it, queen. Secondly, yes." summer being on morty's side was nice. while the soul orgy was a bit weird, the rest of this episode was pretty entertaining which is why its higher up, sorry.
51. bethic twinstinct: jerry saying he would khs, not cool jerry fuck you. "You ladies discuss responsibility while i get stoned and play video games with your kids." the end 💀 i felt bad but it was funny lol.
50. final desmitation: maybe my fav ep of jerry and rick's relationship. i liked seeing rick disapprove of them making fun of jerry, had some funny moments and i even liked jerry here.
49. a rick in king mortur's mort: not the best but i enjoyed rickbot being nice to morty. also this episode sets up for rmrm which i love.
48. promortyus: morty's little yee-haw 😭. and their conversation, so sweet. taking the adderall line as an adhd rick confirmation. "It is my thing. Just like yours is dying alone," get his ass. i feel like the romance couldve been a compelling story if the hosts werent rnm.
47. the whirly dirly conspiracy: rick's take on jerry was accurate. "But no, like father like goddamn daughter! You wanna be like Rick? Congratulations, you're just as arrogant and just as irresponsible!" morty ate. i prefered summer and beths storyline to rick and jerry's.
c tier: solid, episodes, some have a few faults but theyre small
46. mort: ragnarick: it's so high up because i found rick to be likeable and liked his dynamic with morty. ricks clone was cute too.
45. look who's purging now: "Screw you, Rick! I'll purge you too, you old rickety piece of crap!" rnm's storyline was great, i liked arthrisha.
44. the ricks must be crazy: "I dropped out of school. It's not a place for smart people." "Ohhhh, snap!" lmao literally my reaction. "Ooh. Wow. Gaaay!" "That is pretty gay." not much more to say, good ep.
43. never ricking morty: rnm were sweet in this ep. the gay ass song with rick and bp. "Rick are you– do you need to go to the hospital?" the forehead kiss was sweet. (we're ignoring "Lips if you want.")
42. mort dinner rick andre: mr nimbus is a great character. the wine storyline was a bit boring. "I havent been to a full week of school in years! I don't know shit!" love the peek at rick's backstory too.
41. rick potion #9: important lore episode. some funny bits. morty was a little creepy in this one. i love jerry primes character development. first look on down from the bridge moment !!
40. forgetting sarick mortshall: "What are you, eight? Is this macaroni art? You expect me to believe you built this because you don't care?" liked ricks storyline and he actually does seem to be showing minor development. the end song was good. liked garbage goober's lore.
39. morty's mindblowers: rick removing whatever memories he wanted was fucked up. rick saying granite instead of granted will always be funny. also him losing in chackers and skiing into a tree.
38. mortyplicity: entertaining enough if a little convoluted, i liked it though. sweet moment between the decoy family, shame they died.
b tier: good to great episodes.
37. big trouble in little sanchez: actually liked jerry and beths storyline in this one. tiny riiick !! "old rick! ruining everything!" good episode.
36. pilot: good intro, sets the tone. rick is such a dick (affectionate). rnm's dynamic !! the animation is great. overall great episode.
35. pickle rick: ik its a overrated but i think its good. hes pickle riiiick. dr wong's speech to rick was actually really good and accurate.
34. meeseeks and destroy: rick was such a whiny bitch this episode (affectionate), up until the mr jellybean stuff, which i liked bcs it was handled well by the writers and rick was actually very sweet.
33. rick and morty's thanksploitation spectacular: president curtis' alcoholic sci-fi boyfriend is probably my favourite way rick has been refered to in the show LOL. overall i enjoyed this episode.
32. something ricked this way comes: idc now but, the first time watching rick's r slur speech it was obnoxious and offputting. summer and rick were great, i adore their dynamic, love summer and rick episodes, but idrc for jerry's storyline, he bores me so bad.
31. full meta jackrick: "Rick can't change, Morty. Change is what you might call his Kryptonite." there were a lot of things i liked abt this ep.
30. vindicators 3: the return of worldender: very good episode. forever a believer that the ride was for morty and rick just chickened out.
29. a rickle in time: the va for the testicle monster was great. beth and jerry's storyline also wasn't bad. rick jumping into the hole and sacrificing his life for morty, im sobbing. great episode.
28. the vat of acid episode: morty trying to make rick feel better about not being able to make the thing was very sweet. morty's relationship with that girl was adorable, so sad it was erased by jerry's dumb ass /lh. fuck rick in this episode. the end was funny.
27. rixty minutes: while i do love interdimensional cable this episode would've been lower if it wasn't for all the character moments. "You can't leave, you're 17." "Yeah, and I'm not pregnant. I'm gonna have better judgement than you guys had at my age." loved summer getting screentime. beth and jerry's moment was quite sweet.
26. ricksy business: bp and squanchy !!! >:) bp coming through with the deep speech. the montage of rick morty and summer at the end is so adorable i love them sm <3. "I love my grandkids." "Aw :)." "Psych, just kidding, my new catchphrase is i dont give a fuuuck!"
25. get schwifty: first president curtis episode !! i love him. love morty and bp interactions haha. "In bird culture, this is considered a dick move." "It is random debris. I found it in my carpet. I don't know what humans eat." crying i love him sm. one of my personal favs lol :).
24. juricksick mort: tbh i mostly like this ep bcs of "You pompous autistic cadaver!" but there was other good moments and it was entertaining. rick was funny and likeable and very much a disaster of a human being, as i was promised when i started watching rnm.
23. star mort rickturn of the jerri: space beth !! "You cosplay as your shitty father in his 30's." "Its funny. I always wondered who would win if we ever fought." "Then you were always a bad friend." :(. "Holy shit, I'm a terrible father." i forgot how good this episode was, very angsty.
22. total rickall: genuinely love this episode. KEITH DAVID >:D. rick's "weird made-up sounding catchphrases" compilation is one of my fav moments in the show lol, everyone looks so concerned 💀.
21. rest and ricklaxation: "Grandpa's here." SOBBING. "Because you kept drunk-dialing me and crying about it!" "I wasn't crying!" loved jessica and ricks dynamic lol. great episode.
20. rickfending your mort: great follow up to unmortricken, i like that rick doesnt just go back to normal and we see it takes a while and even then its only bcs morty steps in. morty making up titles for all their adventures is adorable. great sweet scenes between rnm.
19. the rickchurian mortydate: autistic rick !! also minecraft. the president is such a pathetic loser lol <3. i loved rick and morty being on the same wavelength in this episode. the ending was good.
18. wet kuat amortycan summer: summer-centric episode !! rick was likeable, liked seeing him clumsy getting his grove back. him saying summer reminds him of diane again, he's getting so much more open, im so proud, can you imagine s3 rick being sincere like that?
17. close rickcounters of the rick kind: best s1 episode, love citadel episodes. evil morty !!!!! some funny moments. "You're crying? Over a Morty?" sobbing. "Yeah, but wheres the transmitter?" and the evil morty song oh god, best scene ever fr. i love my evil guy :3.
s tier: outstanding episodes, the 16 best imo.
16. that's amorte: FANTASTIC episode, the end montage is the only part of any rnm episode thats made me cry a little, it would be higher up but i have some personal favs which i put higher. i feel like this episode was very classic rnm after having them separated half of s7.
15. the old man and the seat: jerry and morty's dynamic is pretty funny. tony and rick's storyline was fantastic. some pretty angsty stuff. "The saaaddest piece of garbage in the entire cosmos."
14. the abc's of beth: rick and beth episode !! rick saying that an adventure clearly needs morty in it, aw. i did not care about jerry's storyline at all. beth had no right being so relatable in this ep.
13. ricktional mortpoon's rickmas mortcation: rick relapsing into finding prime !! "I'm not touching that thing. I'll get neurotypical cooties." ok, so ik a lot of ppl don't like the speech rick said to morty, but i do, he was going through a LOT, this clearly took him quite a few steps back in development and healing, i think it was less bad than a lot of other things he's done and way more justified.
12. fear no mort: loved morty getting his time to shine, LOVED diane and rick. morty realising rick wasn't in the hole has to be one of the best moments in the show. rick not going in the hole at the end bcs morty told him not to, hope some day he'll get to the point of doing things for morty in front of him so he can realise how much he cares.
11. analyze piss: look at rick asking dr wong for advice. him relating to piss master :(. also i read a phenomenal fic abt this ep (tw sh) (link).
10. air force wong: UNITY RETURNS! Rick was kinda childish in this episode but i feel like it was justified, he wasn't being a dick just bcs, he was hurting, and he even kinda apologised to summer, hes trying. rick going to drink with the president instead of being alone.
9. the rickshank rickdemption: RICK PRIME. "That, diane, is the last great idea that will ever be had in this garage." :((((. ricks backstory. "he's not a villan, summer, but he shouldn't be ur hero." fantastic ep.
8. rickmurai jack: love two crows rick. rick's full "crybaby" backstory !! "Now you're evil morty, too. sooner or later we all are. on this side of the curve." THE END OH GOD. THE MUSIC. EVIL MORTY LETTING OUT A SIGH OF RELIEF. INSANE finale.
7. gotron jerrysis rickvangelion: rick is so spectacularly autistic in this one. i like how he doesnt silly hyperfixtate, he full on unhealthy hyperfixtates. i practically know this ep off by heart. comfort ep fr.
6. rickternal friendshine of the spotless mort: im not sorry for putting this up so high, i love this ep so fucking much. memory rick is so silly i love him sm. "You were a good friend, Rick. Goodbye." the blood ridge confession makes me FERAL. i can quote it word for word.
5. the wedding squanchers: THIS EPISODE. rick watching bp die in front of him. rick turning himself in :(. "everyone i know goes away in the end." the music was so good. "he's not coming back, is he?"
4. the ricklantis mixup: best citadel ep, fight me. j-22 trying to save simple rick only to suffer the same fate :(. slick jumping into the wishing portal. the ending was phenomenal, every single storyline was amazing and important. and evil morty returns.
3. auto erotic assimilation: love unity and ricks dynamic. blim blam humbling beth and jerry. jerry using the weed whacker right in front of the garage where rick just attempted. and no one notices. bc that's how it is. "do you feel it?" is a great song. maybe this ep is higher than it should be but it's my comfort ep, it means so much to me.
2. solaricks: first time we get to see dimension c-137 out of a flashback !! "I hope Summer knows what happens to the people you love!" "Oh, am I cool enough for you now? Well, that was easy. It only cost me fucking everything." "I don't know him. You're my grandpa, rick." rip jerry prime, my fav jerry. THIS EPISODE IS PHENOMENAL.
1. unmortricken: ok anyone who knows me knows this is my fav ep bcs i never stfu abt it. i mean, evil morty backstory, rick beating prime to death, GOD. ian cardoni was COOKING with the delivery of those lines, and the lines were fantastic. some good rnm moments. the angst is so good. "How's it feel? Better? No? Exactly the same? Yeah, it always does." best look on down from the bridge moment.
i keep going over this a million times just to make sure everything is perfect but idk, some episodes are maybe interchangeable, im just going to post it bcs its been rotting in my drafts for quite a while now, everyone promise you dont hate me for putting an episode 1 slot too high or low /j
and sorry for all the jerry hate in this post, i dont hate him i just find him boring, so eps where he's the centre tend to be lower on the list.

Soooo, I'm gonna post this fakemon now. Might use in an upcoming fic, might not. But I felt like posting it, 'tis silly and fun :D
Stellar Type Eeveelution: Celesteon
The Starlight Pokemon
Appearance: It is short-haired but has fur tufts by its paws, the end of its tail, the sides of its face, and the tips of its ears. It has a ruff of fur around the neck, and its short fur is a shimmery rainbow gradient. The fur tufts have a star/crystal motif. The head makes up a star shape due to the ears, the tufts of fur extending from its cheeks, and a little unicorn horn on the top of the head (also made of crystal). Its eyes gleam like gems. Its body is slim and dainty. When it walks it leaves behind glittery pawprints.
Ability: Stardust - This Pokemon is covered in a special, glittering powder. This causes it to resist every move type once per battle. All subsequent moves hit the Pokemon for neutral damage.
(This Ability cannot be changed, suppressed or copied via other moves or Abilities)
Notes: Stellar type moves are only supereffective against Terastallized pokemon. These moves hit neutral on everything else. Keep in mind that in canon, the only Stellar type moves are Normal type moves that can change to the Stellar typing under certain conditions (Tera Blast and Tera Starstorm)
When Celesteon Terastallizes into Stellar type, it gains the ‘attack boost for every move type once per battle’ which is a 1.2x boost for everything except Stellar type; for Stellar type moves it gets a 2x boost. If Celesteon is Terastallized into a type other than Stellar, offensively it gains the usual 1.5x STAB for that type and also retains its 1.5x STAB on Stellar type moves. Defensively it takes the defensive properties of its chosen tera type as usual.

Hello! Can I ask tips and tricks on how you are able to get a lot of dust, shapodonty, clear drop, and other materials on reverser:1999? Like, what's the trick on how to get rich🤑.
That's all, thank you♡!
aside from paying bp or the monthly pass, i HIGHLY recommend not spreading your resources. you can easily level everyone to insight 1 lvl 40 if you focus on 5 (maybe even 7) characters. don't ignore your wilderness and level up the dust/coin towers as high as you possibly can. o: also finish your dailies/weeklies and "beginning of the tale".
hold off any hard stages for now (as tempting as those clear drops are) and just do the story stages especially if they unlock higher tier resource stages. i just farm the hell out of the poussiere and mintage. rn i'm focusing on harvest prime to lvl my wilderness.
also, make sure to grab the redeem codes! one of them give 19k dust and 19k coins. they usually post it on the official discord.
btw i'm suggesting this based on day 1 player f2p. current progress there is lvl 20, stage 3rd-16, 7 arcanists at insight 1 lvl 40, and 1 at insight 1 lvl 30 (eagle). my sharpodonty count is 52k and 17k for dust.
for clear drops, unlock artificial somnambulism (early chapter 3 i think?) and clear as many stages as you can. thankfully it doesn't use stamina/activity. each stage gives 60 clear drops but it gets harder the more you progress.
tldr: focus on building team first. don't build everyone in your roster. dps + healer + support/debuff. worry about clear drops later.

My mom died at like. 44. My dad about made it to 60. Im almost 30 and just as crippled as he was when he was 56. I try not to think about it but im gonna be real lucky to survive into my 40s. I have a leg thats swollen to twice the size it should be, high bp, high heart rate, bones and muscles that dont do their job, a gut that can barely digest food, and a fight or flight response with a hair trigger. I cant excercise, i cant eat well, i can barely eat enough! I cant get drs to take any of this seriously bc im 5 foot 3 and 437lbs. Sometimes when i get my period it makes me so sick i feel like im dying, sometimes i dont get it at all. I havent had glasses since i was 18 and i can feel my eyes getting weaker. I can feel my teeth starting to go. My nails are all fucked, especially my toes which are doing the thing where they curl in on themselves.
I dont fucking know where im going with this, i just felt like screaming into the void bc im tired of sitting alone with the fact that im just waiting to die.

So right now the mirror dungeon gives you 60 manager XP (3 modules you use), 30% of a battle pass level and 5 silver (5x200 XP) and 5 gold (5x1000 XP) tickets for 6000 XP for Sinners.
If your bonus is active (mine is not):
You get 60 manager XP, 70% of a battle pass level, 10 silver (10x200 XP) and 5 gold (10x1000 XP) tickets for 12000 XP for Sinners, and also a choice of either 5 random egoshard boxes or 3 selected egoshard boxes. Random boxes will have 1-3 shards of a random Sinner, the others let you select the one you want.
So every week, a FTP player that completes daylies/weeklys and only does 5 dungeons a week (1 is free weekly, but energy is plenty) will get:
300 Manager XP -> Refills energy, so more modules right now.
60000 XP for Sinners -> 12k makes a Sinner go from level 1 to 23, but the XP requirement scales really high, I’ll make a table later.
8 BP levels -> 3,5 (0,7x5 dungeons) + 3,5 (0,1x5x7 daylies) + 1 (0,2x5 weekly)
50 random shards OR 30 selected shards -> Every box has 1-3 shards, and shards you don’t want/need can be converted to thread to uptie identities.
Every dungeon that you run past the first 5 (that week) adds 60 manager XP, 6000 Sinner XP and 0,3 BP levels. No shards/thread.
I’m expecting Project Moon to add a way to farm more shards/thread, either another more difficult/expensive dungeon or events with more rewards.
Seems like a weird choice, because everything else points to them not really pushing for the gacha mechanic, but then you can only get 30 shards per week, 360 for the season (3 stars are 400) and thread is very limited.
I’ve purposedly ignored any BP rewards, which if completed will give you enough for those 400 shards, but just barely.

Dark Falz Solus
Ahead of Omen of the Planetbreaker, an easier, 8 player urgent quest version of the Dark Falz Solus fight, I thought it would be good to condense what I had learned from one of my favorite fights in the game and make some sort of informational guide on it as to what to expect, the combat flow, etc...
That being said, if you haven't run this yet and want to take this UQ blind, don't read this post or watch the video I've posted further down.
Sign of the Planetbreaker versus Omen of the Planetbreaker?
Sign of the Planetbreaker: Quest type: Major Target Suppression Mission Location: Central Retem, can be accessed anytime Boss level: 75 Required BP: 3750 No. of players: 4 Time limit: 15 minutes Additional fail conditions: Quest fails if the number of incapacitations reaches five. Sign of the Planetbreaker is the first Major Target Suppression Mission in 2NGS, designed to be an "Ultra hard difficulty" quest for 4 players against the Starless enemy Dark Falz Solus. Solus' hard-hitting attacks combined with tight phase 1 mechanics, a limit on the number of incapacitations the party can suffer and a short time limit means that players need to be properly geared and knowledgeable about the fight to be able to clear it. The quest can be challenged anytime and can be found along the west edge of Central Retem, to the northeast of the ryuker device in Retem Alnothe. Notable weapon drops include the 10-star Flugelgard series, the 9* Tisah series and the 8* Neos Astraean series. Players can also find the Tisah Waffe Almati weapon camo here. Omen of the Planetbreaker: Quest type: Urgent Quest Location: Retem, can only be accessed when made available Boss level: 80 Required BP: 3649 Time limit: 60 minutes Additional fail conditions: None Omen of the Planetbreaker is an urgent quest that can occur in the Retem region. While still against Dark Falz Solus, the fight was designed to be easier than that in Sign of the Planetbreaker. Solus will not hit as hard as it does in Sign, and it's expected that the quest will have standard urgent quest clear or fail conditions for an 8 player quest. (30 or 60 minutes, no additional fail conditions) Drops are expected to be the same as it is with Sign, though likely will have a diminished drop rate for Tisah and Flugelgard weapons compared to Sign.
I recorded one of my runs for reference. This video is from a Ranger POV
youtube
Up to this point, Sign of the Planetbreaker has been the ultimate challenge and will continue to be so until the second Major Target Supression Mission launches, which is currently on the roadmap for the next major update in December. Those that are able to complete Sign are rewarded with a weekly task of 20 SG and daily Leah May tasks for 10 growthment. NGS Headline described Omen of the Planetbreaker as something of a stepping stone to prepare for Sign.
Perparation
In many cases, a party consisting of one ranger is recommended as Blight Rounds gives a 20-25% damage bonus. With the level 80 cap making Sign of the Planetbreaker a bit easier, those who struggle with survivability can use a hunter or waker subclass to help. Additionally, buffs should consist of the following:
Food: 10 Crisp Meats for maximum damage output. If short on meat, combine other crisp foods from the same region to at least get the weak point damage bonus.
Region Mag: Feed the region mag in West Retem if it is not up. Nowadays it's not as important with the alliance mag and level 80 cap but if it's up, runs should go slightly smoother.
Alliance Mag: Ensure your alliance is maintaining at minimum a level 10 potency boost. Take all boosts available to you, but if you are unable to take all of them, take your potency boost first, then HP, then PP, then XP and Rare Drop.
As a reference, the required average DPS across the entire party that's required to clear Sign is around 3150 DPS. Some classes such as slayer will hit well past this mark, while others like rangers may struggle with it. As long as this averages out in this range a clear should be possible. While the level cap was still 75, the recommended potency per player was around 130%. With level 80, it's likely you can get away with less.
Phase 1
The first phase of the fight is mechanic heavy and your goal should be to clear it as fast as possible. What to do is relatively straightforward once you've seen it a couple of times. For reference, in Sign of the Planetbreaker, a party should get to phase 2 in a maximum of 6 and a half minutes (Before the clock reaches 8:30) in order to deal enough damage to clear.
When the quest starts, the party can optionally go around the back and start attacking the tail. Many groups skip this step as the attacks coming off of the tail provide an additional chance to counter. If you do leave it, Solus will periodically release a barrage of missiles at all players. Their landing points are noted with a mark on the floor. CAUTION: There is a glitch that occurs when the tail is broken as Solus is deploying the eggs out of his right arm. If this occurs and this action is interrupted, the eggs will not be deployed, and the quest must be restarted.
For parties that don't attack the tail at the start, they will typically stay on the hands until these eggs deploy.
A few seconds after the fight starts, Solus will deploy three eggs from his right arm. These eggs will plant themselves along a defined 3x3 grid around the floor (with Solus taking the middle ) and will periodically unleash an AOE attack in the shape of a square corresponding to this imaginary "grid." Every few seconds, the eggs will retract and may move one square over or stay in place and redeploy. For these, most parties stay together, following a ranger's Blight Rounds, destroying the eggs one by one. In some cases, a party may destroy the first egg together and then split up for the remaining two eggs. This is all while Solus unleashes its own array of attacks, which will be mentioned later.
Once all three eggs are destroyed, Solus' right arm will open, exposing its weakpoint for a short period. The party must focus this point and deal as much damage as possible to break it before it closes. If it does close, the egg destroying process restarts, except with one egg instead of three. Once the right arm is broken, the process repeats itself for the left arm after a few seconds.
For runs that are on the lower end of the damage scale an issue comes up as they reach the point where the second arm breaks. For these kinds of runs it's important to have a watch over the break meter. What ends up happening quite a bit is that, as the arm is about to be destroyed, the party scores a break on Solus. This becomes a problem in two ways: One, the arm will not break during a break. Two, despite this, the arm can still close during a break. This means that the arm will end up closing during break, before it can actually break, even though enough damage has been done to break it, resulting in an annoying time loss as the party has to wait, destroy an additional egg, then watch as the arm breaks the instant it opens up. Is that enough break for you?
Once the left arm is broken, Solus will be stunned and his main weak point will be exposed. Once he has recovered, he will keep cycling through his attacks with his hands. At this time you should score your first break as well. The fight will progress from first phase when Solus' remaining HP reaches 50%.
Phase 1 attacks
Select players will be marked with a faint laser. A few seconds after this appears, Solus will grunt, the lasers will briefly turn pink and then fire for about two seconds.
Solus will make an orb appear around each player, requiring them to quickly dodge to avoid taking damage. Solus will let out a grunt before this occurs.
Solus will raise his hands above his head and slam them down into the floor, causing a shockwave that radiates outwards and covers the entire floor. This is one of Solus' more damaging attacks during this phase.
Solus will summon a pair of portals across from each other, then launch an attack through them, covering the side of the stage that's between them.
Solus will usually follow this attack up by bringing his arms back and push forward. This is something to take note of with certain counters to ensure that your attacks don't miss. Sometimes he will go into a shockwave attack instead.
Solus will wind up in one direction then sweep through with one hand through 270 degrees. This will also cause Solus to rotate 90 degrees from the direction he started the attack in.
Solus will sweep a hand over a corner of the stage. This is similar to his larger sweep attack but without a wind-up and does not cause him to rotate.
Solus will sometimes thrust or slam down with one hand, dealing damage in the general vicinity. An alternate version of this attack has him slamming his hand down twice.
Phase 1 DPS Check
At 50% HP, Solus will summon a set of "stairs" on each side of him with an egg on top of each. Shortly after, red misama will start to slowly rise from the floor. This miasma will cause a large amount of damage over time for anyone that gets caught in it. When both eggs are destroyed, the miasma will disappear, Solus will be stunned and the weakpoint on his head will be exposed. Anyone stuck in the miasma and is still alive at this point will be incapacitated If enough damage is done, it will cause a physical down that exposes the weakpoint on his body. When he recovers, the fight will progress to phase 2.
Phase 2
Solus will gain a wand and change his attack patterns. In this phase, the fight becomes less about mechanics and more about dealing as much damage as possible at opportunities that he or his wand are exposed. Solus will spend large amounts of time in this phase in places where he can not be reached so it's important to take advantage of every opening he gives you.
Attacks should focus the weakpoint on his wand first. When enough damage is done to the wand, it will break and cause Solus to be stunned. At this point, you can continue attacking the wand or move to his body.
Parties that deal less damage will find that they get their second break near the end of this phase, while those that deal more will likely get their second break in the final moments of this fight. Once Solus' remaining HP is at around 10%, the fight will progress to the final phase, at which point you should have around 3 minutes left if you hope to clear.
Phase 2 attacks:
Solus will teleport to the opposite side of the stage and start summoning three walls that slowly materialize. These walls cannot be dodged through and will close-to one-shot anyone that gets hit by them. Everyone must find the holes in each wall to safely move through them. After the third wall, solus will attack by either thrusting or swinging his wand, leaving him open for attack.
Some people tend to have trouble locating the holes in the wall while the wall is forming. Keep an eye out for a change in the block pattern, as gaps that have a sort of outline around them will be where your holes are.
Solus will toss his wand towards the stage, which will appear standing on its end and launch an AOE attack that radiates outwards from the wand. It will teleport and repeat this attack twice. The wand is open to attacks during this time.
Solus will appear on one end and launch an attack with his wand that covers roughly two thirds of the stage.
Solus will launch a ground attack along the perimeter of the stage. After this attack, his wand will teleport to the center of the stage and send out a destructive shockwave that radiates outwards and covers the entire stage. After, Solus will attack by thrusting or swinging his wand, leaving him open for a short period.
Solus will launch small square-shaped attacks in a striped pattern while launching a series of large cubes covering the entire stage. He will then repeat the striped attack on the parts of the stage that were not targeted the first time.
Solus will teleport to one side, and swing across the stage with his wand. This attack coves about two-thirds of the stage. The direction of attack will be marked but will always be from his left to right.
Solus will plant several pillars in the stage, then fire a barrage of small cubes while moving 360 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise around the stage, requiring players to move to keep him behind the pillar. He will then launch a destructive laser attack, then attack by thrusting or swinging his wand, leaving him open.
Solus will hover over the stage and slam his wand into the ground. He will do this 2-3 times, slamming twice the last time.
Solus will attack with a combination of large square-shaped attacks along a 2x3 grid while firing projectiles.
Final Phase
When Solus' HP reaches 10%, he will back away from the stage and plant 9 eggs, covering the entire stage with their AOE attacks. These act in the same way as phase 1 but will not periodically move around. While the party is busy destroying the eggs, he will attack with his wand blast/swing, striped square/block attack and large ground/projectile attacks. Dodge the attacks as they come in and continue focusing the eggs until they are all destroyed.
When the last egg is destroyed, Solus will become stunned and lay at the edge of his stage with his head weakpoint exposed. He will not get up from this state but will sometimes unleash a last-gasp shockwave attack that can deal massive damage to the party. When enough damage is done to the head, it will cause a permanent physical down. He will continue to attack with his shockwave but it will involve a longer startup, allowing you to anticipate it further in advance. Continue attacking until Solus is defeated. If the party's damage is on the high end, the second break will happen around this time, or might not even happen at all.
If you had just beat Solus in Sign of the Planetbreaker, congratulations! As of writing this guide, you've completed the hardest challenge in the game so far.
General Tips:
Don't give up! Sign of the Planetbreaker is very difficult but not hard to figure out. Keep running Omen of the Planetbreaker when it comes up and, if/when you feel like it, go into Sign alone and practice.
Solus' attacks are many and hard-hitting, but their visual and audio cues are very apparent and not hard to read.
Be comfortable with dodging! Running from lasers and other attacks results in precious loss of DPS and time. Even at level 80, the consequences of even a couple of party members evading attacks instead of using their counterattacks can be costly and result in the quest failing due to time.
Be supportive of your party! There are many parts of this fight that require cooperation and coordination. If someone is struggling with a part of the fight, help them out. Exchange advice with your fellow party members and be encouraging as you make it further and further with each run.
Make sure you're geared! Your weapon should have a level 6 potential, and all your gear should be enhanced to +70 with six relevant potency (and potency floor for non-Verschmelz builds) augments on each. (ex. Stat IV, Gigas Stat IV, A relevant Soul IV, a Domina etc...)
Know your class! There's no clearing Sign if you're not playing it properly and efficiently. Know the best PAs for the situation and your strongest counters. (As a ranger main I'm obligated to remind anyone reading this that spamming rifle normals is not an efficient or proper way to play Ranger or any other class)
I highly doubt that I've covered exactly everything in this, but I hope at least it provides some benefit to those getting into Solus for the first time.

State of the Meta: Skill Gear
Now that we have a bit more information on what exactly these things are and do, I think it's time to talk about skill gear in full. Specifically, what they can do, how they're better than type gear, and why their implementation makes them effectively worthless.
Overview The basic gist is that you will acquire skill gear, probably through events, that can be customized with up to three each of theme skills, stat boosts, and additional passive skills. These are acquired using feathers, which will randomly assign 1-3 effects in each category. 1 is guaranteed, with each slot having a 1/3 chance to be filled by something, from a rather exhaustive list. The idea is customization, and this has big implications for teambuilding.
To use a general example, one team I like to run is H!Caitlin/Colress/physical striker of choice. They're an effective core for setting up any physical damage dealer for success. However, they have very little cohesion when it comes to 3* type gear. Skill Gear can fix this. If I roll the Unova theme on skill gear, both Caitlin and Colress now get all stat boosts associated. With two type-specific theme skills, we can extend further. One frequent partner lately has been BP Valerie. Achieving a Fairy theme skill lets her and NY Lisia achieve success, while getting Kalos would open up a different set of options. This provides a significant boost over 3* type gear, with a wider range of beneficiaries.
Before I get too far into customization, let's talk about what each category holds.
Stats The core benefit is stats. 3* type gear grants 70HP, 60 Atk/Sp Atk, and 20 Def/Sp Def/Spd. Comparatively, here are the stats that can be acquired on Skill Gear:
Skill gear, at a maximum, achieves 160HP, 80 Atk/Sp Atk, and 30 Def/Sp Def/Spd, with another 20 points on the pin still available for either offensive or defensive stat. Or you could drop speed, to achieve 50 in both defenses, or 100 in both offenses. The jump in offenses is notable, because that's the equivalent stat increase of a 5* reaching 20/20, or applying an EX Strike role. It's a sizable boost. The HP is nearly that of a 20/20 upgrade as well, and is slightly above application of any EX role. Again, these are significant enhancements.
Theme Skills Theme skills are the biggest unifying factor, pulling in team compositions that previously had to compete for statistics. Notably, at present, the list provided by Absol-utely suggests that theme skills are Type, Region, and Character Type (ie, Main Character, Champion, etc). These are the good ones to aim for, as they tend to be the most cohesive. Many others don't hold much, and how many people really want to be rolling for random application around things like Ninja Family?
Passive Skills Passives skills are small additions that these gears can achieve. They tend to be 2-5% increases in set categories, including move damage, sync damage, and damage reduction. They are, to be frank, negligible. Any good, broad skill tends to be hit with 2%. It requires heavy specificity, such as "hitting a burned opponent with an attack move" to hit 5%. Something that would say "hitting an opponent with any status with an attack move" might hit 4%, and "hitting an opponent with any status with any attack" would be maybe 2%. I did some calculation on the impacts here, and even at its best, you're dealing with likely less of an increase than CS1. And a 4% damage reduction is not exactly worth discussing. Skills should be considered secondary benefits that are nice to have, but not essential.
Limitations All of this should, in theory, come together to create a really interesting set of gear. However, three problems plague gear:
1) Randomization A feather resets ALL skills. You have to reroll the entire gear at once, and there are a billion options. This isn't too unexpected; gacha is, at its core, behaviorally training you to approach such impossible odds with "just keep trying" so you spend money, and this is just further training.
2) Lack of Control This is the worst one. To avoid a really good skill being overwritten, you must use a Pin. Pins will hold it still...but you can only use one on a gear at a time. Meaning only one of your nine skills can be saved. Everything else gets reset.
This is a problem because, at minimum, you need four skills to be rolled on your gear to surpass the effects of 3* type. You need at least two theme skills to connect your team, the major stat of a higher or equivalent value, and the secondary stat or a higher or equivalent value.
For example, H!Caitlin/Colress/BP Valerie would look for a Bracelet with +60-80 Atk/+20-30 Def, a Scarf with +60-80 Sp Atk/+20-30 Sp Def, a Pin with +70-100 HP/+20-30 Spd, and all three with Unova and Fairy/Kalos. Each of those three pieces of gear can only hold one skill steady. Which is achievable! If you have the feathers.
3) Lack of Access To acquire feathers, you get 3 in new events, and you can farm the Yellow kind in the training area. The training area literally only gives one at a time. The stage is 30 stamina. Given the level of randomness we're dealing with, this is unachievable. It's far too little for far too much stamina.
In addition, pins currently are only obtained via monthly exchange, which costs 20 5* powerups. You have to be willing to part with the equivalent of a full EX, which is 100HP and 40 in every other stat by the way, to get one skill to hold still. And if that skill is unlocked? The pin is gone forever. This is an atrocious exchange rate that is completely and thoroughly unreasonable. No one should be making such a trade.
Solutions I recognize that the power of these gears could easily eclipse 3* type, and they're trying not to overdo it. I really do. However, there are adjustments that I think can be made to make these skill gears a more pleasant player experience, without making them overpowered.
First, you really need to make pins more accessible. The current exchange rate is downright insulting. A full EX for a single pin is terrible.
Second, increase access to feathers. Given how painfully random these things are, the training area should be delivering like 5 per clear, minimum. One single feather for 30 stamina is an absurdly bad deal, given how many of them you'll burn through.
Third, pins should be usable up to three times, one for each category. I'm not asking you to let us pin perfect rolled traits all the time. But one in each category is fair. If I'm aiming for good gear for that H!Caitlin/Colress/BP Valerie team, being able to pin Unova, HP/Atk/Sp Atk, and any random percentage trait that seems good, would make accessing the other needed traits much less painful. Pinning only one on the entire gear makes setting up even the base essentials a near-impossibility.
Final Thoughts Having looked over the whole system, I think Skill Gear is legitimately interesting, and potentially exciting. Team compositions have long has the issue of supports rarely meshing type with what they're supporting, and certain Tech pairs focused on debuffs don't really blend in either. Skill Gear creates the opportunity for cohesion around frequently used cores, with opportunities for players to design them around their preferred approaches.
But at present, it's effectively impossible to achieve. The only successful compositions are the ones with special feathers, handed out to be specifically aligned to new limited pairs. These are the only times you have clear and successful gear, and the stats are even limited to the same benefit as 3* type gear. They're not a statistical improvement, just more cohesive along theme skill lines. As a result, this feels like another attempt to push players into spending for new pairs, given the alignment, but also another situation where they pulled back too much to avoid perceived losses. Just like Variety Scouts being damned by their 7% 5* rate, the special feather being only for a single piece of gear, and not even a statistical improvement over type gear, limited the draw. Skill gear feels like yet another system introduced with the hope to drum up sales, but with minimal thought put into its implementation as a system in a video game.

never doing that again as a F2P 💛 or ever again 💛 but it was all worth it for her 💛
I pulled [redacted] times only to not get Koga (but I sure got 5 off banners 💀) so I only had 60% bonus with maxed Mayoi and the 3 stars........funnily enough, the off banner FS1 Madara I pulled (twice!??!?) helped make my Flash team stronger!
So I grinded Blooming World for two days (15 mil points yes I like grinding no it was not fun), then managed to full combo Pale Red Vow on Expert and went with that since Mayoi was also Flash. I was joking about grinding the last 7 mil in two days but uhhhhh oops
Anyway after pulling I started with like 78k dia, ended with just over 7k bc I got impatient and wanted to max Naru NOW!!!!! If I timed out my grinding better, I likely would have more at the end......but I also had to pull 30 times to get one (1) WWYS Naru card???? So if I didn't do that I would have 17k dia left.
Only tips I got for maxing a card is to pull 100 times max, and if you don't get the 5 star, try to max out the 4 star bc that really helps as you can see!! (Mama and Yuzuru are +1, Eichi is +2, Naru is max 💛) I get 3.5 mil points on average with this setup and it gets me 42k points per 10 BP.
I do 10 BP per play bc like. you're going to 22 mil, it's going to take a lot of irl time to grind, and unless you're a lower level, the EXP difference won't matter (I leveled up like 3 times during this). If you want to maximize your BP and have more time/patience, absolutely do 1 BP. (if you have VIP II why are you looking for tips. just hit auto-loop.)
Everyone says to save ~100k dia for all 5 copies and I agree. You will use 30k for pulls (100 or until 5 star + maxed 4 star if less than 100), and 70k for grinding, more or less depending on your team strength.
Be prepared for your phone to be held hostage by the idol hell game for hours. Mute the music to stay sane and so you don't end up hating the songs. Remember to do Starry Lives for the extra event points and dia. Remember to take breaks and charge your device!
Good luck and remember you come first before a png! 💛
#who gives a hoot#enstars#miiiight try to go for 3 copies of tanabata naru but we'll see since there's a few cards i want before her#main tagging bc this will be the only time i go to 22 mil#the fact that i was able to buy all memcoins was the wildest part#i love the image of naru chasing the boys around with perfume samples#i had to max out mayoi's idol road so he was like 74k power? not bad#maybe the game knew i hated the prison aesthetic which is why koga didn't come home

When Shiro sends an emergency call while the Covenant is in town, Lance is ready to follow instructions and lay low. But he's not too thrilled with one of those orders: to rescue his vampiric roommate Keith from their apartment and get him to safety. In broad daylight. While he's out cold.
Living was nice while it lasted.
A missing scene from Premium Pandemonium, Chapter 19.

Excerpt:
“You are of course more than welcome to stay here,” Allura says graciously. She sits down on her chair again, accompanied by a chorus of “HAILS!” and “PRAISE THE KINDNESS OF THE LION GODDESS!” from the mice.
“I’ll prepare your rooms, once we’ve finished warning the community,” Coran adds.
“Better prepare one more,” Lance says, and winces slightly. “We, ah…we have one other order from Shiro. Hunk…we gotta go get Keith.”
Hunk blinks. He and his swarm of hair-snakes stare at him. Lance is very glad Hunk is wearing contacts, because otherwise with that much stunning power he’d be on the floor in seconds. “But…it’s day,” Hunk says after a moment, as though this was obvious.
“Who’s Keith?” Pidge asks.
“I know it’s day,” Lance says. “That’s how bad it is, I guess. Shiro warned me to bundle him up good and get him over here. Which makes sense…you know he’s useless during the day. If Sanda showed up…”
“Ooooh.” Hunk grimaces. “Yeah. Yeah, that could…that could be bad. Really bad.”
“Who’s Keith?” Pidge repeats. “And what’s his beef with day? Is he a bogeyman?”
“Vampire,” Lance says.
“Oh.” Pidge’s eyes widen in understanding.

Summary:
After the defeat of the Galra cult, the Holts dig into the research of their leader, Haggar. At Shiro's request, they search for information about him and his newfound magic in those notes.
Shiro fully expects them to find uncomfortable truths in those pages. But he doesn't at all expect what they actually find.
Warnings: None
Excerpt:
Shiro sits up immediately, on high alert. “Is something wrong? Are you in trouble?”
He’s already running through a mental inventory of his current weaponry, trying to decide if it’s worth rushing out the door or taking another minute to secure a few more knives and an extra pistol. Before he has to make the decision, Sam interrupts his train of thought. “Oh, no, no. There’s no danger and nobody is in trouble. I’m sorry, I couldn’t remember if you had classes tonight, and this discovery is...well, you’ll want to hear it as soon as you can.”
“Discovery?” Shiro’s interest perks immediately. “Is it about the magic?”
At its mention, the fire magic bound to his right arm stirs, tongues of violet fire licking over his fingers once before settling back into the runes carved into his arm. True mine?
He rubs his fingers absently together in a reassuring gesture. If it is, I promise I’ll return you, he thinks in the language of magic. The flames quiet inside of him, calmed.
“It’s...related,” Sam says carefully. “I honestly don’t think it’s a wise idea to speak about it over the phone. Are you available today?”
Well, that certainly catches his attention. “I don’t have classes today,” Shiro says. “Mostly just doing prepwork. I can be over in half an hour, if that works?”
“Excellent,” Sam says. “That works perfectly.”
“I’ll be there soon, then,” Shiro says, before hanging up.

Trump's Return: Hidden Moves & Ninja Tactics Shaking the Market The Market's Back in Trump Mode: Hidden Moves, Ninja Tactics & The Fine Print Is That a Steepener in Your Pocket or Are You Just Glad to See Trump? Ladies and gentlemen, gather round because the markets are taking a wild ride down memory lane. USTs are feeling the pressure, and guess who's back in the driver's seat? That's right—the Trump Train is rolling into town, bringing along the usual political circus and market chaos. With the former president set to make a grand return to the White House (pending House control—currently sitting at a comfortable 60% probability but still too close to call), there's no shortage of speculative action on the street. And boy, isn't it steep? But before you hop on that excitement, let's zoom in and see what kind of steepener, fade, or flattening we might be dealing with, depending on how the House swings. Today, it's all about ninja tactics and reading between the lines—because when it comes to the Trump bond market narrative, there’s a lot more at stake than meets the eye. USTs are flirting with contract lows, dipping down to 109-07, versus a session high of 110-21+. Traders are running around the trading desks like headless chickens, flipping from steepening to flattening bets faster than Trump changes his catchphrases. Want to survive this madness? Stick with me, because we're about to unravel some hidden dynamics and tactics you won't see on any Bloomberg ticker. But first—why so steep? Well, if Trump comes back with Senate support but is left wrangling with a Democratic House, that fading steepener will be your best friend. Sure, it may feel like trying to time a lightning strike, but when it's about saving those precious pips, nothing is too obscure. Here’s where we switch to ninja mode—ready for some hidden tips? Remember this: the steepening tells us that traders think spending and stimulus will explode under a unified Trump government. But if the House decides to take a Democratic turn, that steepening will fizzle faster than a one-hit-wonder on TikTok. The Bund Bundling: Love 'Em or Fade 'Em While the USTs are doing their thing across the pond, let’s talk about our European pals. Bunds are basking in the spotlight, bolstered by the same Trump victory narrative. Are we surprised? Heck no. Trump bringing a return to America-first rhetoric, potential tariffs, and overall economic headwinds for Europe means the market is ready to frontload yield compression like there's no tomorrow. Bunds have been on a rollercoaster—kicking off at a high of 132.22 and cruising down to 131.82, while the UST-Bund 10-year yield spread widened its gap to over 200 bps. And here’s where things get funny—for the nth time in recent weeks, it looks like we’re back to talking about 15- and 30-year auctions that the markets barely noticed. It's like the Bunds are throwing a party that no one shows up for. Expert insight? Take a look at the bigger picture, my friend. While Bunds look attractive in a lower yield environment—mostly thanks to ECB pre-emptive moves to offset those America-first tantrums—there’s something even deeper in play. You see, seasoned traders have an uncanny knack for picking apart Bund behavior and pricing the impact before the event hits. It's all about getting ahead of the game. Want to do this right? Start looking at multi-year Bund-BTP spreads and watch how the Italian jitters could come into play if Trumpian tariffs swing back around. You’re welcome—just don’t forget me when you hit those jackpot trades. Gilts: The Brits Are Taking the 'Wait and See' Approach Ah, the Gilts. Aren't they just the awkward cousin in this global bond bonanza? UK bond traders had a front-row seat to this Trump drama, but somehow managed to keep their calm. Why? It turns out that—surprise, surprise—US-EU dynamics don’t perfectly fit into the British economic jigsaw puzzle. The Gilts, instead, decided to stay somewhat neutral, caught between the bullish moves from EGBs and bearish signals from USTs. But, let’s be real—it’s all about the Bank of England this week. If you want to understand the play here, take a closer look at how the Gilts are pricing ahead of the BoE meeting. Think of this as a grand game of chess, with fiscal implications lurking around every corner. Advanced tactics here? Watch for 2-10 Gilt steepeners to catch a pre-BoE upward move and fade any over-excitement once the BoE decision goes public. We’ve seen this dance before, and experienced Gilt traders know that trying to predict UK fiscal decisions is like betting on the outcome of your grandma’s bingo game—it’s always an entertaining but unpredictable affair. Unconventional Wisdom: Follow the Money, But Track the Real Narrative One of the biggest issues with the typical trader's approach to these scenarios is focusing too much on what the headlines tell them. The market's reaction to political shifts—especially in an era when populism, surprise tariffs, and unconventional fiscal policy seem to pop up like unwelcome house guests—is often one-dimensional. That's where you come in, savvy trader, with your behind-the-scenes knowledge. The spreads are moving, but the real winners are already preparing their next moves based on who’s actually getting what power in DC. Don't forget: Europe, the US, and the UK are all playing different games right now. Each of these regions is focusing on its own troubles, and a victory in one could mean a setback in another. The USTs may keep falling, and Gilts might keep bouncing back, but the question is—are you reacting or acting? Because in this wild world of Forex and bonds, only the ones with ninja-level foresight get to laugh all the way to the bank. To sum up this rollercoaster of a day: USTs under pressure, Bunds bolstered by America's chaos, and Gilts keeping it cool before the BoE decision. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t sweat it—just remember that the key to navigating these waters is not to follow the herd but to understand the drivers beneath the surface. The steepeners, the flatteners, the auctions no one’s attending—they all make sense when you look at the incentives, the power plays, and the real winners here. Understanding Chronic Kidney Disease
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a serious condition that affects the kidneys’ ability to filter waste and excess fluids from the body. In India, around 17% of the adult population suffers from CKD. As the disease advances, it can lead to kidney failure, requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant to sustain life.
What is Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)?
Chronic Kidney Disease is a slow and ongoing decline of renal function for not less than three months. 8% to 16% of the entire global population suffer from diabetes and hypertension.
In its initial form, no sign would indicate the presence of disease. As it develops, the person would be easily diagnosed with fatigue, swelling and other issues such as cardiovascular diseases.
Chronic Kidney Disease Stages
Nephrologists divide the disease into five stages based on the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), which measures how much blood the kidneys can filter per minute.
Stage 1: Normal or High GFR (≥90 mL/min)
The kidneys still function at a normal or high level, with a GFR of 90 mL/min or higher. However, there may be signs of kidney damage, such as protein in the urine. At this stage, symptoms are usually mild or absent.
Stage 2: Mild Reduction in GFR (60–89 mL/min)
Kidney function shows a mild reduction, with a GFR between 60 and 89 mL/min. Symptoms may include frequent urinary tract infections, high blood pressure, and swelling in the hands and feet.
Stage 3: Moderate Reduction in GFR (30–59 mL/min)
This stage is divided into two subgroups: stage 3a (GFR 45–59 mL/min) and stage 3b (GFR 30–44 mL/min). Here, kidney function shows a moderate reduction, and symptoms may include changes in urination, swelling in the hands and feet, weakness, fatigue, dry and itchy skin, back pain, and muscle cramping.
Stage 4: Severe Reduction in GFR (15–29 mL/min)
Kidney function reduces, with a GFR between 15 and 29 mL/min. Symptoms may include anaemia, decreased appetite, bone disease, and abnormal levels of phosphorus, calcium, and vitamin D.
Stage 5: Kidney Failure (GFR <15 mL/min or on dialysis)
Also known as end-stage renal disease (ESRD), this is the most severe stage of CKD. Here, the kidneys fail, with a GFR of less than 15 mL/min, or the patient requires dialysis. Symptoms may include all those mentioned in the previous stages, as well as nausea, vomiting, and confusion.
Causes of Chronic Kidney Disease
Chronic kidney disease symptoms result from many health issues. Understanding the main causes, risk factors, and preventive measures can help mitigate the impact of this disease.
Main Causes of CKD
Diabetes: This leading chronic kidney disease causes results when high blood sugar levels damage the kidneys’ filtering units over time, leading to diabetic kidney disease. Early signs often include protein in the urine, indicating damage to the kidney’s filters.
Hypertension: High BP damages the blood vessels in the kidneys, impairing their ability to filter waste. This creates a harsh cycle, as kidney damage can further increase blood pressure.
Glomerulonephritis: This refers to inflammation of the kidney’s filtering units (glomeruli). Conditions such as IgA nephropathy and lupus nephritis fall under this category and can lead to kidney damage.
Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD): A genetic disorder characterised by the growth of a large number of cysts in the kidneys, PKD can badly affect kidney function over time.
Recurrent Kidney Infections: Chronic infections can lead to scarring and damage to the kidneys, contributing to CKD.
Obstructive Uropathy: Conditions like kidney stones or an enlarged prostate can obstruct urine flow, causing kidney damage.
Toxic Substances: Long-term exposure to certain medications (like NSAIDs) and heavy metals (like lead) can harm the kidneys.
Risk Factors Associated with CKD
Many factors can increase the likelihood of developing the disease:
Family History: A genetic predisposition to kidney disease can increase risk.
Age: The risk of chronic kidney disease increases with age, particularly in individuals over 60.
Ethnicity: Certain ethnic groups, including South Asians and African Americans, face a higher risk for CKD.
Conclusion
Chronic kidney disease remains a public health concern, especially in India, where a large portion of the adult population is affected. The progressive nature of CKD highlights the urgent need for early detection and management to prevent its escalation into end-stage renal disease, which requires intensive treatments like dialysis or kidney transplantation.
