His glance is dismissive, “You can’t borrow it.”

You pout, “Wasn’t gonna ask.” Then another idea curls your lips, and you run your hand up and down his forearm. Zayne doesn’t look up from his book, “This fabric is so soft…” Your touch is slow, a gentle, comforting drag along his sleeve. Hypnotic almost. His eyes finally drift to your hand as it slows over his bicep, and your voice drops to a whisper, “What’s it made of?” Zayne swallows, unfamiliar with your sudden affection. Then just as he opens his mouth to respond, you ruin it, “Boyfriend material?”

His judgmental silence is quickly met with a fit of giggles. Zayne sighs, snapping his book shut, “It’s wool, actually.” You don’t seem to care, too busy snorting to listen, “I got a good deal on it. About half off, I believe.” All the laughter is suddenly sucked from the room when you’re pushed flat on your back. Zayne hovers over you—hand trailing down your pulse point—then he quirks a brow, “….But it’d be 100% off at your place.”

duel links has been off to an, interesting start this year

in case anyone is blissfully unaware or doesn't play ranked konami gave their special boy Jaden a shiny new skill that not only 1. slaps a monster on the field for the low cost of a single discard but 2. adds super poly and polymerization to your hand. and then, 3. you can add polymerization back to your hand every turn so long as you discard so it becomes incredibly hard to drain your opponent of resources. 😵‍💫

listen I'm big complaining here as is my right but oh man this deck is so unpleasant to play against. I've been playing lyrilusc (fighting fire with fire here) and if I go second I have a much better chance cuz I can either cosmic cyclone their super poly or used promenade thrush's effect on it (and half the time if you take out their super poly they'll surrender lol) but if I go first I have to basically pray I can get nightingale's effect off and resolved in time so I can avoid the damage and save any other lyriluscs I have on field.

feels very "the call is coming from inside the house" of me to complain about a deck when I'm currently playing lyrilusc and predaplant (predaplant does have that glorious busted skill but they did take away our super poly) but consider: when I play these decks it's a labor of love because I love these characters to death. not my fault the decks are competitive 🤭

anyways this is all fun and games and I'm not actually that mad but I simply love to complain <3 hash tag konami nerf dragonic contact 2025. and THEN take crystal wing off the banlist for extra apology 👆 trust me this will save your app I'm a professional.
