The Manifestation Box: Manifestation Methods
Hello and welcome to this new post of mine! I decided to make a new series, this time about manifesting methods. I hope you find this useful and enjoy.
Masterpost > Paid Readings > Subliminal Channel
What it is used for:
The Manifestation Box method is honestly used for absolutely everything, and is a great method for anything you wish to achieve. For many this method works because you use actual physical objects to define your goals; already putting the manifestation into a physical form.
Instructions:
1. Choose a box
In order to do this method you need a box; this can be any box. It doesn't need to be pretty, or big, but it can if you wish it to be (you can decorate your boc with colours, crystals and sigils to connect it more to your goal if you wish).
2. Write your desires down
Take a piece of paper, or multiple pieces of paper, and start writing down your desires, what it is you want to manifest into existence. This can be as vague and as detailed as you want; as long as you know what you want to accomplish.
3. Add symbolic items
Find items that remind you or you correspond with your manifestations; maybe you want to manifest something for school, and you can add an old schoolbook, or a lover for which you can add a picture, or something that reminds you of them, or what you did together. Anything as long as you see relation and connection with your manifestation(s).
4. Put the box away
Close the box as you keep your intentions and mind, and put the box anywhere you want, I suggest following your first thought of where to put it, since intuition often has a reason for showing up if it does.

28) Rakshasa
29) Tricia
30) Lhutel
31) Latenna

34) Loretta
35) Adula
36) Leda
37) Freyja
38) Gloam-Eyed Queen
39) Romina

52) Grandmother
53, 54) those Nox women whom puppetry originates from
55, 56) Aurelia and Aurelitte
57) the first Astrologer who discovered a Moon
58) Anastasia
59) Daedicar
60) Lanya
61) Lacrima
62) Boc's mother
63, 64, 65, 66) Gilika, Maggie, Margot and Marigga (named Demi-Human Queens)
67) Grana (it is a name of the one behind Witch Crown from cut content, but basically it is the woman among the portraits in Debate Parlour! I doubt this is Sellen because why would they keep face of enemy of the Academy?)
68) the woman whose body was used for Sellen to live in it again (she has Witch Crown too but it's crystal is not cracked like Sellen's, and given that 'witch' conspectus did exist.. yeah this is more likely a person another Seluvis's victim than not)
69) Millicent
70, 71, 72, 73) Mary, Maureen, Amy and Polianna (Millicent's sisters)
74) the sixth sister (there is a scarlet flower near Malenia but she is said to only bloom second time in her boss battle, and near that flower you find the same set as what other two are wearing)
75) Greyoll
76) Eleonora
77) Bernahl's Maiden
78) Miriam
79) Arghanthy
80) Twinbird
81) Cleanrot Knight in Stillwater Cave (what makes her stand out is that you find the set Gowry wears here! otherwise this set doesn't have connection with Scarlet Rot (which this cave is filled with) but is simply a set of sorcerers that got kicked for herecy. maybe this cave is where Gowry did something with his glintstone to be able to possess any Kindred of Rot body, and perhaps she helped him with it?)
82) single Nox Swordstress as a boss in Sellia
83) a Black Knife with unique wounded model unlike any other of them in Deathtouched Catacombs
84) wife of Garris
85) Jar Bairn
Potentially:
86) there is 'Gaia' mentioned as someone who studied Gravity Magic along with Gaius, and apparently it is not mistranslation of Ogha. the only one it could be is his BOAR xD this name sounds feminine though, so maybe boar is a she?
87) Fortissax's gender is not confirmed; Japanese description doesn't have any pronouns at all, so English just said 'it'! However, Godrick monologues to the dead drake that they're "both relatives of the dragons", which could be literal considering Godwyn and Fortissax were so close 🤔
88) Eiglay (Eglė is "the Queen of the Serpents" in Lithuanian folklore, and I don't think you need me to tell you the two names are similar ahahah)
89) Asimi (cut content but Mimic Tear was supposed to be the girl who bonded with us first, it is hard to tell whether we can count the final one as Asimi or not)
90, 91) two 'female' Mimic Tears from four of these hostile NPCs (I feel like Silverfolk origin for Tarnished descends from Silver Tears rather than Albinaurics, so they can become solid people! these two perhaps are just fleshed out in this form at this rate! these do respawn though, so it is hard to tell if they count, or if this is actually their gender and not just mimicry)
92) Miranda (in cut content it was the first floral Crucible known, for now this is the name of the big flowers, two of which are also Dungeon bosses! however, ALL of them are called 'Miranda flowers', so maybe the actual character Miranda whom flowers with the same name descended from is still palatable!)

Hi Pika, I don't know if you've been following gmmtv's take over of wabi sabi, I just want to ask you: given that so many companies are part of TBLC which is like a Thai BL content association, do you have any idea why gmmtv isn't a part of it? BOC, DMD, Star Hunter, Copy A Bangkok, Channel 3 are all part of it, I'm just wondering why gmmtv isn't even thought it's the biggest bl company? Wabi Sabi was/is a part of it. (idk exactly)
I can't emphasize enough that I am NOT an expert on this snaps lmao so anything I say that isn't like a direct link to an article or further reading source is speculation on my part. You're a sweetheart Anon but I just wanna let you know that like if you wanna know about the American publishing or entertainment industry but I don't wanna present myself as like ~an expert~ when my ass ain't ya know?
So my short answer is fuck if I know lol I hadn't even heard of the TBLC till this ask
For folks interested in it, here's the livestream they hosted for it (it's 45ish minutes) and it doesn't have subs though. But it seems to be connected to Thailand's soft power committee, here's an article on that:
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who chairs the committee, tasked deputy chairwoman Paetongtarn Shinawatra with leading two national initiatives: One Family One Soft Power (OFOS) and the Thailand Creative Content Agency (THACCA). The goal of the initiatives is skills training to create 20 million jobs that will generate annual income of 4 trillion baht. OFOS and THACCA will be implemented in three phases: First, to boost human resources, 20 million children, adults, and seniors in under village and community funds will get free training in fields such as food, Muay Thai, arts, performance, singing, design, fashion, e-sports, and more, free of charge.
For folks who may not know, soft power is a term coined by political scientist Joseph S. Nye Jr. in his article Soft Power published by Foreign Policy magazine.
"In the 1980s, political scientist Joseph Nye Jr. coined the term soft power, defining it as a country’s ability to influence others without resorting to coercive pressure. In practice, that process entails countries projecting their values, ideals, and culture across borders to foster goodwill and strengthen partnerships." (source)
Soft power is a form of governmental influence internationally, and works conjunction with "hard power".
Examples of "soft power" are the American space program, athletes performing at the Olympics, and on the media side, military propaganda films like Captain Marvel, (yes I consider Captain Marvel a military propaganda film the film opens with a freaking air force ad lmao).
You see other countries using similar tactics as well, for every Top Gun there's China's Wolf Warrior 2 or Hidden Blade. For South Korea, BTS and k-pop is most definitely used as a source of soft power. This is just something governments do.
Okay so like, gmmtv and BL we've been hearing for a minute now that BL and GL are part of the Thai governments plans for soft power.
Mile and Apo have spoken about this specifically when promoting Man Suang and here's a recent video of them working in conjunction with the government on Shine:
(source)
Even Mew's talked about Thailand's soft power in interviews before (context, Mew was the first Thai musician to break into the American Billboard charts):
(source)
It's not just BL either, Idol Factory's Freen and Becky of The Gap fame got in on this too:
So like, it sounds like this meeting/committee in general is just an extension of the Thai governments plans for expanding their soft power which includes how to better support this now highly in demand industry (BL/GL shows) b/c the government sees its international value.
I can only assume that like, gmmtv feels it doesn't need~ government support as a production company? They're the biggest BL studio in the game and have an annoying stranglehold on territories like America and Latin America already. It doesn't really matter what the quality of the shows even are, gmmtv have that sweet parasocial grip on audiences.
[my forever frustrations with gmmtv and how they sell idols and parasocial relationships not BL/GL shows is a totally different post so lemme stop]
Other companies don't really have that same hold on international audiences. At least not consistently? And the biggest concern is funding.
I think anyone with eyeballs can see Kinnporsche is the best well produced BL that's come out of Thailand (argue with the wall) in terms of overall technical quality. But that level of quality is expensive, the CGI in The Sign is freaking expensive, The Next Prince's pilot is so obviously pricey as all fuck you can tell the studio is banking on it selling.
Which is why studios like Idol Factory, Domandi or BOC only come out with a one or two shows a year in comparison to gmmtv's like 16. They need funding, not just for filming the show but also marketing. Filmmaking is hella expensive.
[I'm not talking about whether y'all liked this show or that show, I'm talking about technical quality, shows like Kinnporsche, The Sign, Pit Babe are all better on a technical level than stuff like 1000 Stars, Only Friends or Cooking Crush.]
Why didn't gmmtv attend the event or participate, baby I legit do not know. I can't answer that with any sort of certainty only their execs could answer that, I can only guess.
And my best guess is b/c the company feels confident they're fine on their own. They don't need funding assistance, nor assistance reaching an international market (tho maybe some assistance in getting their contracts straight hope Ossan's Love doesn't face the same distribution issues as Cherry Magic lmao).
For more information on the event itself I really liked this post on reddit that I felt broke everything down very well.
Anyway sorry this got so long Anon but I hope it at least provided some interesting information!

The Unreality of the Erdtree
It seems quite intentional that the Erdtree in the present is a phantom, and the physical tree burned long ago. This can be seen most clearly from Liurnia when the moon shines through the tree, as seen from the Four Belfries. Recent investigations on the utter darkness that occurs during the late night fog in Liurnia (also at the Four Belfries) has revealed that despite its bright appearance the tree is not acting as a radiant light source. If it was, then the light would have diffused through the fog. And this is confirmed by people who have examined the game files.
Some other places that I have observed the Erdrtree as transparent are on the Bellum Highway bridge into Raya Lucaria, at the location where Yura can be encountered (cloudy morning at time of observation):
In Limgrave, slight transparency seen at the back side of the Artist's Shack (standing on top of the mushroom there):
And in Caelid from the vantage point of the Nomadic Merchant (Caelid South) who sells the Champion set:
An even more radical proposal is that as an object of faith not even the gold phantom tree is visible to anyone but us, the Tarnished who can see the Guidance of Grace.
One piece of evidence for this is that Boc is excited to see the tree upon reaching Leyndell, which is an odd thing to say considering that we've always seen the tree (this point raised by the Tarnished Archaeologist on YouTube, who also goes over the evidence for the first burning of the Erdtree in his video "The 3 Creeds of the Erdtree").
This raises the question that if the Erdtree was burned long ago and the existing form is known to be an illusion, then why does no-one say anything about it - not even the non-believers? Or at least, no one starts a direct conversation about it - there are some subtle hints that we see something that no-one else does. And there are a few possible reasons why no-one talks about the Erdtree having burned before:
None of the Tarnished directly witnessed the burning. This would actually be a very good timeline marker because it would mean that the Tarnished were all sent off before it happened. When they return they see and accept the Golden Tree at first like we do, but probably at some point through the journey they one by one loose that ability and turn to disbelief. The Tarnished who survived long enough that we meet them are the ones savvy enough to realize that this is an Emperor's New Clothes situation - all of the general inhabitants of the world who remain loyal to the Erdtree are pretending that all is well with the object of their faith.
The finger-readers are blind. Were they blind before the tree was burned, or did they blind themselves so that they would not need to acknowledge that the Erdtree was burned a long time ago? Unclear. They are very insistent that burning the Erdtree is the First Cardinal sin which is either premonition or based on past events. (The finger reader at Leyndell asks "surely you see it too? The gold that enshrouds the heavens. The great tree which begets the pillars of light. " with regards to the tree. An odd statement to make if there was no doubt of the tree's existence)
The Commoners no longer have their wits (see Commoner's Headband). They would need to be witless to deceive themselves that the great glowing tree is real as if the burning never happened.
Morgott...I think he knows that the Erdtree burned and only a stump remains. I think maybe he envies the Tarnished - another being who was discarded as unworthy but is still granted grace to see the Golden Tree. He's the Emperor for whom the Commoners go through the motions of still having faith, but rather than being merely gullible like the Emperor of the story he is a ruthless tyrant who assassinates and imprisons dissidents.
As I'm familiar with the way that illusions are handled in Pathfinder 2e, disbelieving an illusion and dispelling an illusion are different actions. A perfect illusion will appear and perhaps even feel like a solid object depending on the strength of the spell, but disbelieving this illusion does not make the visual aspect disappear. It may cause the image to appear fuzzy or indistinct similar to the partial transparency of the Erdtree.
It seems to me that the Erdtree may be an illusion for the benefit of the Tarnished player that is believed or disbelieved by consensus. The stronger the faith of the people surrounding any given vantage point, the more solid it appears, but the illusion will never disappear completely for anyone as long as the Elden Ring exists. Melina "burning" the Erdtree is less of a burning of a physical object than it is of modifying the illusion or replacing it with a new one - after all the burning never progresses and consumes the tree no matter how long a player takes to defeat Radagon. It's the same for the Elden Lord endings, with each simply choosing the nature of their illusion.
#elden ring#elden ring lore#media analysis#environmental storytelling#The Erdtree is most solid in Leyndell where I imagine the consequences are most severe for expressing doubt in the faith#The Leonine Misbegotten behind Castle Morne can see the smoke from the burning castle over the tree canopy as if the tree is also burning#interesting free cam details in the canopy where the golden tree is shown with tendrils growing onto wooden branches#the spell is anchored to a few original branches in the canopy but disconnected at the trunk and root where transparency is highest

ok so to start off u CAN think of terraria at its very core as "minecraft but 2D". just for the basic mechanics. u mine and craft and fight. however terraria is also heavily focused around progression via boss battles .
so. the first boss you'll fight is the Eye of Cthulhu. which is literally just cthulhu's disembodied eye bc im pretty sure in the lore of terraria the Dryads like... captured? and then killed Cthulhu? but also he lives in the moon sort of so idk. unless the Moon Lord isn't Cthulhu. hold on OKOK i read the lore . so basically the Dryads were like "man you suck" (bc cthulhu was detrimental to the world's continued existence), captured him, ripped out his organs, and then banished him to the moon . so.
the second boss you'll fight is either the Brain of Cthulhu, or the Eater of Worlds. BoC is just Cthulhu's brain. idk how that mans still doin shit on the moon but by god is he still there . EoW is just a Big Worm. anyway BoC hangs out in a biome called "The Crimson" which is red. and goopy. and in the background you can see bones (which are presumed to be cthulhu's). it's basically just a biome made of flesh and blood that's mingled with the earth and turned everything Red. google terraria face monster . i hate those guys they're creepy. but they live there. EoW lives in the crimson's counterpart, "The Corruption". its porble.
Thirdly is Skeletron. Skeleton is summoned by talking to an old guy standing outside of the entrance to the Dungeon (don't go in the dungeon before fighting skeletron. there is an enemy that will spawn that will 1-hit kill you). when you talk to him at night you can summon Skeletron. in which the guy kind of just explodes into a giant disembodied skull and arms that tries to beat u to death. then that guy moves into ur town once skellyboy is defeated. he got better dw
lets see . im gonna skip some stuff bc god terraria is Big. eventually you'll fight the Wall of Flesh. which may actually be the True Form of the Guide :D bc to summon WoF you have to toss a voodoo doll of the guide (which you get from killing demons. btw.) into lava. and summoning him kills the guide (he'll respawn dw). also you fight WoF in hell. have fun :D
once the Flesh Wall is defeated you enter hardmode !!!!!!! congrats . go die a bunch !!!!!!!!
skipping a bunch of bosses bc they don't rlly matter to the chaos (mecha worm. mecha eyes. mecha skeletron. a living golem in a temple. a Giant Angry Plant. a fish.) eventually u get to the fucken Final Boss(tm) of terraria .
well ok first u have to defeat some cultists that worship cthulhu. and then defeat a bunch of funky pillars that want to kill you SOOO bad. and THEN you get to the final boss. which is cthulhu btw if that wasn't obvious by now . but specifically its just the upper torso of cthulhu. the dryads ripped that guy in half. in a special world you can find his legs and wear them :) . anyway thats Moon Lord. the funky pillars are his final attempt at total conquest of the world btw.
also Moon Lord visibly has a brain and has like . 5 eyes on his face. and two in his hands. WHERE DID THE EoC and BoC COME FROM?????? DID HE JUST SPAWN MORE EYES WHILE ON THE MOON?????? (tbf only like 3 of the eyes are called the "True" eyes of cthulhu so i guess maybe he did) AND A NEW BRAIN??????????????
anyway uhhhhhhh. am i missing anything else. probably. anyway enjoy this
WHAT THE FUCK that sounds so fun ngl

My little ham is being extremely cuddly tonight and I am very here for it, I was very sad earlier because I can’t remember what Jäger smells like anymore. I find myself smelling Denny often hoping I won’t forget him too. For some reason I’ve been thinking a lot about Jäger’s final moments lately which prompts trying to remember what he smelled like, what he felt like and I just can’t remember, all of those memories are wrapped up and laced with so much sadness and trauma I just can’t separate them. I don’t know what’s bringing these feelings back up lately, maybe because I haven’t been feeling well and have been unhappy because I feel unwell. I need a nice distraction and neither of the guys I’ve been seeing are providing it. Maybe I need a hobby? Writing seems too constricting lately and not fun. I’ve been thinking about crocheting again but a) I have to learn again which no biggie YouTube taught me when my niece was born 15 years ago, it can teach me again, b) I have no clue what to make? I’d make something for Denny but he has so many clothes lol I guess he can always use more? Maybe cute hats like Good Boy Ollie has? Denny deserves all the cute clothes and hats, he’s such a good baby. I don’t deserve him.
In non depressing dog stuff I made some video game resolutions for the year that I’m not sure I’ll accomplish. If you’ve followed me for a very long time you know I also love Soulsborne games, I’ve beaten DS3 and Elden Ring but my resolution is to beat the DLC for DS3, I want to beat Malenia and Placidusax in Elden Ring and finally play Bloodborne. I’ve never played Bloodborne despite absolutely loving it. The problem is I haven’t touched DS3 since I beat it so I can’t remember how to play it and Elden Ring I’m reasonably confident I can beat Placidusax but Malenia woof waterfowl dance am I right? THB I had enough health to tank most of it if I could avoid at least one but it’s her stage two form scarlet rot dive bomb that killed me. Admittedly I’ve only tried Malenia 2 or 3 times, my partner got Let Me Solo Her themselves to beat Malenia for them. I don’t know where to start though, I have to restart them all from the beginning because I’m on PS5 now, I guess I should go in order? So Bloodborne first? I’m so scared though everything is so fast 😭 I’m a big dumb, clunky over level and use the biggest axe in the game type player and I’m afraid I won’t be able to keep up. I don’t know if I can do the DLC I don’t know if I can beat Lady Maria or the Orphan of Kos but I guess I’ll try. Wish me luck y’all, I’m not embarking back into Soulsborne until I 100% Season of the Cryomancer though and of course this will have no bearing on my MK lust/content or anything, I don’t really have Soulsborne husbandos/waifus though I guess there’s boy Anri and Vicar Amelia (yes I’m a monster fucker, deal with it) oh oh and my precious stingray boyfriend Lorian, I don’t write for any of them or self ship with any of them so there will still be lots of dumb egg jokes. Don’t worry I’m in no way taking a break from MK I’m just indulging in another franchise I love deeply too, multitasking. So I guess just a heads up that there may be an influx of rage posts about Soulsborne bosses lol Or me professing my endless love for Greirat and Boc lol Will I ever go back to Baldur’s Gate 3?? Who knows! Probably not tbh I don’t like anyone other than Gribbo and Scratch not to mention I’ve seen my partner put just hours into it. I’ve seen the game and maybe I’m just bad at it but it’s just not fun for me which is why I’m going back to Soulsborne games lol I’ll tag my posts with “Soulsborne” if you don’t wanna see my rambling about the games though but like I said I promise I will still be all MK all the time after all it’s my true love ❤️
This has been a pointless Sol rambles, thanks for reading 🩵

Hi Mara!
Do you have any thoughts about how Elden Ring characters would be around pets? I had a few ideas for a one-shot fic and I was curious as to what your thoughts on such a topic would be.
Have a nice day!
Hi Bimbom! <3
I didn't but now I do. Normally headcanons are free, but from you I require payment in the form of the fic link when you write it. 🔫
I'm skipping some characters that I don't really care for or enjoy.
~
Blaidd: Very responsible owner. Trains all his pets fully, but he also treats their needs and wants at an equal level to his own, sometimes higher. He prefers shepherd dog breeds.
Yura: Likes birds. There's a small murder of crows that has taken a intense liking to him, and he always shares parts of his meal with them. But he mostly enjoys watching them from afar, caring for them fully is not his style.
Boc: He's that person that you know adores pets with a passion, but is always a bit scared and hesitant getting close. He doesn't have pets of his own, but his room is filled to the brim with various animal plushies.
D: Hates animals.
Diallos Hoslow: Tries his absolute best to seem indifferent and tough but in reality he adores them to death. He has quite the healing touch and is always on the lookout for animals in need, be they pets or wildlife.
Edgar: Begrudgingly accepted a dog in his halls when Irina was a little girl and he ended up being the main carer for it. He says he doesn't like dogs, but the dog also sleeps on his bed now, so...
Fia: Cat-person. Not very affectionate, but if a cat is around her, that cat is getting picked up and gently hugged.
Finlay: Not really an animal person, but she likes cats and has adopted hers. She only lets them decide when it's cuddle time.
General Radahn: Do I even need to say anything about this horsegirl? He's literally the horsegirl stereotype. That's it.
Gideon Ofnir: He likes owls and turtles. Owls hate him to the point of attacking him on sight. Turtles just avoid him like the plague.
Godfrey: Generally indifferent towards animals. Only likes them if they are powerful. He treats his lion decent, but only things of it like a tool of war, not a companion.
Godwyn the Golden: A pretty gentle type towards animals but often forgetful of their needs. He tries them almost like plushies and room decor. He loves them, just not that much.
Gostoc: Hurts any helpless animal he finds. He deserves the guillotine.
Gowry: Thinks pets are good food.
Hyetta: She likes animals, big dogs in particular. She doesn't have a want to own a pet herself, but will sometimes leave some food on the sidewalk for strays.
Iron Fist Alexander: He likes hamsters. Due to his size, he is extremely careful with them, and they like running rounds on his lid.
Latenna: She's politely gentle with most animals but she loves wolfs. She treats them similarly to Blaidd, as equals and often prioritizes her wolf's needs over hers.
Lunar Princess Ranni: She likes wolfs (shocker!). She acts cold and uninterested around people, but when alone with her wolfs they get all the scratches and belly rubs and treats and everything.
Malenia, Blade of Miquella: She likes cats. Their purring calms her down and gives her peace when she is feeling the Rot advancing.
Maliketh: He doesn't like animals, but Marika used to have a poodle that he ended up caring for, and he grew attached to it. He's not at all emotional and rarely pets it, but the poodle and him seem to have their own kind of understanding.
Morgott: He always loved seeing birds from the small windows in the looking outside the sewers. When he go out and earned the Omen King title, he ended up making multiple coops from any bird that passed through Leyndell.
Melina: She quietly loves every animal, but prefers to give them space and have them fend for themselves. Exceptions to that rule are Torrent and domesticated animals. Those she generally checks if they need anything, but she's not big towards petting.
Millicent: She likes frogs. She's generally pretty touchy with them, often resulting in her picking up a frog that she knows will irritate her hands despite of the fact. She likes lifting them close to her face and also does that to the few lands animals she might take interest.
Miquella the Unalloyed: He loves animals, the bigger the better. He can be pretty childish when petting them, but he also has them extremely well trained and cares for them in the best way possible.
Nepheli Loux: She loooooooves dogs of all shapes and sizes. She loves hugging them and when petting then, she often sits down to be as close to their eye level as possible.
Patches: Big fan of spiders. Doesn't really care for any other animal. Just spiders. He keeps a jar with a wolf spider on his luggage and he always takes time off his day to spent some time with her.
Radagon: Doesn't care at all. If he has to take care of a pet, he will give food and water and leave. Doesn't care.
Roderika: She loves small animals of any kind. She has a habit of rolling with the dogs and laying down next to cats while talking to them. She claims she understands them and maybe she do, cause animals tent to be more trusting towards her.
Rogier: He's quite the fan of birds and cats. He's very gentle with his affections towards them and has a lot of patience for bird watching, or waiting for a stray cat to approach him.
Rya: She likes snakes. Other animals scare her easily and she's generally skittish if they approach her.
Seluvis: Hates animals.
Thops: Adores cats and loves it when they jump on his lap when working. He friendly to other animals, but more out of politeness than actually interest.
Iji: A fan of wolves and loves the red big ones the most, since he can pet them properly with his hands. He can be rough with them, unintentionally of course, so he chooses to keep a distance from most animals.
Marika: She got a poodle out of pressure to seem aristocratic, but she doesn't care for land animals. When she was at sea, she loved dolphins and orcas.
Rennala: She adores wolfs and has no qualms of playing with them, despite her status. And while she's not a fan of cats, she has a chonky black cat that she spoils to the point of the poor animals being somewhat overweight.
Rykard: Big fan of snakes and reptilians in general. Goes above and beyond to find the absolute favourite food of every snake in his care.
~
5 hours. It took 5 hours for this. I am not checking spelling. I am not checking if it makes sense. Bimbom you made my brain a mush of pets, hope you're happy.
<3
#thank you tho#it was interesting and fun to think about all these characters#asks#headcanons#elden ring#i am not tagging any of them#i'm so done with typing today#done

The Chay Rewatch Ep 6
As part of my KP Rewatch, I’m going to be commenting on each episode and analyzing the different Chay scenes. He’s my favorite character, and I thought I’d put down my thoughts (as well as timestamps for his scenes) as a fun way to express that.
Ep 1 & 2, Ep 3, Ep 4, Ep 5
Ep 6 - World's gayest camping trip
This episode is honestly the one that made me change my mind about Kinn. During my first watch, I genuinely did not like his character in any way, shape, or form until this episode. It almost made me stop watching the show I won’t lie.
The bodyguards just screaming in the woods looking for Kinn. Chan, please organize the boys better.
Some people be saying Korn actually organized this kidnapping, and I fully support that theory.
Time: 14:18 – 14:36 – Macau Spotting
Why does Macau only show up in Chayless episodes? Is there an innocent baby bro ratio that keeps the two separate?
Macau swinging around the pole. Bro does not know you are not supposed to split the pole!
Macau’s Outfit: a rainbow sweater vest over a white shirt, double silver chains, and what I think are khakis? The colors make him look younger even though the outfit is very Grandfatherly, and it stays in the bright colorful theme the minor family uses though. Love that he wore this while Vegas looks like an 80s porn star with his crushed velvet shirt nearly exposing his tiddies.
Macau is the only person who regularly wears stripes throughout the show. I’m not gonna say only person, but he’s definitely the only one who wears them multiple times.
Vegas and Macau using English as their sort of code language is important to me! (Yes I know this is because of Bible’s background, but I love it)
Bruh Macau was with Vegas when he bought the condoms + bread, no wonder he had such a shit-eating grin the entire time he was on screen. He knew Vegas was about to start psychological warfare – I mean flirting with Pete.
Where is my baby boy?! We got so much Chay content in the last two eps! Why must we return to the drought!?! We don't even get Kim to at least remind us that Chay exists in the storyline. I will perish.
Overall Chay Rating (Chrating): I will give this episode an F+
The F is because no Chay. I must quote an earlier rewatch analysis, why am I, the Chay Rewatcher and Fan, here if there is no precious baby brother huh? Is my scholarly work a joke to you BOC? Anyways, the + is because this episode is the one that made me actually start to like Kinn, and Macau showed up for a little bit, which is always fun to see. Very excited for Ep 7 and the end of the Chay break.

Thanks for tagging me @swordfaery :3
Rules: shuffle your ‘on repeat’ playlist and post the first 10 tracks, then list 10 songs you really like, each by a different artist. then tag 10 people to do the same thing.
I know I don’t have to but don’t mind me I’m also going to be talking a bit about these songs
Ftp by MASTER BOOT RECORD -> I found this song by looking for music for my Faith: The Unholy Trilogy playlist, I don’t think I’ve come across synthesised heavy metal before so this was quite interesting. Their side project Keygen Church is also pretty good, if anything I’d recommend that over MASTER BOOT RECORD given their use of organ and sick ‘classical Baroque influence’.
White Noiz by Akira Yamaoka -> I recently was watching Gab Smolders’ playthrough of Silent Hill, so I decided to check out the franchise’s various soundtracks. It’s not my favourite song but I like the atmosphere.
Roygbiv by Boards of Canada -> I’ve been checking out IDM so obviously BoC were a staple to get into. I haven’t really connected with much of their music but this is one of the ones that I really like. I find it fascinating that the album is entirely instrumental save for some audio clips of old Sesame Street episodes sporadically scattered throughout. I’m not sure if there’s a reason why this song was titled Roygbiv, but I do think either way it fits with the aesthetic and atmosphere (as for those who don’t know Roygbiv is an acronym listing the colours of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet).
Somebody Told Me by The Killers -> I just wanted to listen to all of Hot Fuss, but I do find it funny that I knew this song first from Måneskin’s cover of it.
Sonne by Rammstein -> Ah yes one of the songs I’ll put on while pacing for hours thinking about my blorbos and OCs. Certified vampire song.
Ladykillers by Lush -> towards the end of last year I was watching Gregg Araki’s filmography and checking out shoegaze bands which is how I got around to Lush. I wish i could look half as cool as Miki Berenyi does with bright red hair.
Little Girls by Oingo Boingo -> the JoJo brainrot is real so I decided to check out Oingo Boingo since they were referenced in the show, to be honest there’s no way I can describe their music other than it just being tasty. It’s great, I want to eat it. And it always feels very awkward having to explain how this (so far) is my favourite song by them and no it is not weird I prommy.
Halls of Illusions by Insane Clown Posse -> Nothing much to say, certified juggalo moment.
Theme of Laura by Akira Yamaoka -> once again Silent Hill brought me here, tho this is my favourite track so far from the soundtracks.
Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge -> I’m always on the look out for more goth music in whatever form it comes in, I’ll have to check the rest of their stuff out for more goth rock. That being said this probably just ended up on my ‘on repeat’ playlist due to it being on an OC’s playlists lol.
Now for the next 10 songs that I really like:
Tagging: @loverlesbian @sarenite @tigraine-mantear @femtopulsed @croissantcitysucks @deadrunin @mercymorncristabel @astridcookie @smarterthantheaverageloser @arofication (also no pressure if you don’t want to do this)

Types of British Citizenship
British citizenship is a prized status, conferring numerous rights and privileges. However, the path to becoming a British citizen is not monolithic. There are several types of British citizenship, each with its own specific criteria and historical background. Understanding these distinctions is crucial for anyone navigating the complex landscape of British nationality law. This article delves into the various types of British citizenship, providing clarity on who qualifies and the benefits attached to each.
1. British Citizenship by Birth Understanding British Citizenship by Birth British citizenship by birth is one of the most fundamental forms of nationality. However, the laws governing this status have evolved over time, particularly with the British Nationality Act 1981, which introduced significant changes to who qualifies as a British citizen by birth. Prior to this Act, almost anyone born in the UK automatically acquired British citizenship. However, post-1983, the criteria became more restrictive, focusing on the legal status of the child's parents at the time of birth. Eligibility Criteria A child born in the United Kingdom (UK) after January 1, 1983, does not automatically receive British citizenship by virtue of birth alone. Instead, the citizenship status of the parents is the key determinant. - Parental Citizenship or Settled Status: A child born in the UK is automatically considered a British citizen if, at the time of birth, at least one parent is: - A British citizen, or - Settled in the UK, meaning they have indefinite leave to remain (ILR) or the right of abode. "Settled" status implies that the parent has permanent residency in the UK without any immigration restrictions. - Parents with Temporary Status: If neither parent is a British citizen or settled in the UK, the child will not automatically acquire British citizenship at birth. However, the child may become eligible later if the parents' status changes (e.g., if they become settled or naturalized as British citizens). - Retrospective Application: In cases where the parents obtain settled status or British citizenship after the child's birth, the child may be registered as a British citizen. This is not automatic and requires an application process. - Children of Diplomats: Special rules apply to children born to parents who are foreign diplomats or consular officials stationed in the UK. These children are generally not eligible for British citizenship by birth. Special Cases - Stateless Children: If a child born in the UK would otherwise be stateless (i.e., not recognized as a citizen by any country), they may be eligible to apply for British citizenship. - Children of EEA Nationals: The status of children born to European Economic Area (EEA) nationals has been affected by Brexit. Prior to the UK's departure from the EU, children born in the UK to EEA nationals with permanent residence status were eligible for British citizenship by birth. Post-Brexit, the same principles apply, but with the added complexity of the EU Settlement Scheme, which affects the parents' settled status. Benefits of British Citizenship by Birth British citizenship by birth confers numerous rights and privileges: - Right to Reside: Individuals with British citizenship by birth have an unequivocal right to live in the UK. There are no immigration controls or restrictions on their stay. - Right to Work: British citizens can work in the UK without needing a work permit or visa, enjoying full access to the UK labor market. - Right to Study: British citizens have the right to attend school, college, or university in the UK without the need for a student visa or other permissions. They are also eligible for domestic tuition fees and student loans. - Access to Public Services: British citizens are entitled to access public services, including healthcare through the National Health Service (NHS), social security benefits, and public housing. - British Passport: A British citizen by birth can apply for a British passport, which provides ease of travel and consular protection while abroad. - Political Rights: British citizens have the right to vote in UK elections and referendums, run for public office, and participate fully in the political life of the country. 2. British Citizenship by Descent Understanding British Citizenship by Descent British citizenship by descent is a form of nationality that applies to individuals born outside the UK to a British parent. This type of citizenship is particularly relevant in cases where British nationals have lived abroad, and their children are born in another country. Unlike British citizenship by birth, which is determined by being born in the UK, citizenship by descent is based on lineage and the citizenship status of the parents at the time of the child's birth. Eligibility Criteria The eligibility for British citizenship by descent is guided by specific rules: - Parent's Citizenship Status: To qualify for British citizenship by descent, an individual must have at least one parent who was a British citizen at the time of their birth. The parent must have acquired British citizenship in a manner other than by descent. This includes citizenship acquired by birth, registration, or naturalization in the UK or a qualifying British territory. - Born Abroad: The child must be born outside the UK. Children born in the UK to a British parent are generally covered under British citizenship by birth, not descent. - Limitations of Descent: British citizenship by descent is typically limited to one generation. This means that a British citizen by descent cannot usually pass on British citizenship to their children if they are also born outside the UK. However, exceptions exist under certain circumstances, such as if the parent is serving abroad in Crown service at the time of the child's birth. - Adoption: A child adopted outside the UK by a British citizen may also acquire British citizenship by descent, provided the adoption is recognized under UK law. Benefits of British Citizenship by Descent While British citizenship by descent offers many of the same benefits as citizenship by birth, there are some notable differences, particularly concerning the ability to pass on citizenship to future generations. - Right to Reside: A British citizen by descent has the right to live in the UK without any immigration restrictions. This includes access to public services, healthcare, and education. - Right to Work: As with other British citizens, those by descent can work in the UK without the need for work permits or visas. - Right to Study: British citizens by descent can study in the UK on the same terms as those born in the country, including eligibility for domestic tuition fees and student loans. - British Passport: Citizenship by descent entitles an individual to apply for a British passport, which offers ease of travel and consular protection abroad. - Political Rights: Citizens by descent enjoy full political rights in the UK, including the right to vote in national and local elections, as well as the right to stand for public office. - Limitations on Transmission of Citizenship: One significant limitation of British citizenship by descent is the restriction on passing citizenship to children born abroad. This limitation can complicate matters for British citizens living overseas who wish to secure British nationality for their descendants. Challenges and Considerations - Registration for Future Generations: For British citizens by descent who wish to pass on citizenship to their children born abroad, the process is not automatic. It usually requires a formal registration process and is subject to specific eligibility criteria. - Changes in Circumstances: The UK's nationality laws have evolved, and changes in international relations, such as Brexit, can affect the status of British citizens by descent, particularly in terms of rights within the EU or the Commonwealth. British citizenship by birth and by descent are both pathways to becoming a British citizen, each with its own unique eligibility criteria and associated benefits. British citizenship by birth is rooted in being born in the UK to parents who are either British citizens or settled in the country, while citizenship by descent applies to those born abroad to a British parent. Both forms of citizenship provide full rights within the UK, including the right to live, work, and study, as well as access to a British passport and political participation. 3. British Citizenship by Registration Understanding British Citizenship by Registration British citizenship by registration is a pathway for individuals who do not automatically qualify for citizenship by birth or descent but have strong connections to the UK. This method is particularly significant for minors, British Overseas Territories citizens, or adults with a historical or familial link to the UK. The process is more discretionary compared to other routes, allowing the Home Office to consider a variety of individual circumstances when granting citizenship. Eligibility Criteria The eligibility for British citizenship by registration is diverse, catering to various groups with distinct connections to the UK. Below are the key categories of individuals who may be eligible: - Minors (Children Under 18): - Born in the UK to Non-British Parents: A child born in the UK to parents who were not British citizens or settled at the time of birth may be registered as a British citizen if the parents later become settled or acquire British citizenship. - Children of British Citizens by Descent: If a child is born abroad to a parent who is a British citizen by descent, the parent can apply to register the child as a British citizen. This is particularly useful when the child’s parent is a British citizen by descent but cannot pass on citizenship automatically to their child. - Adopted Children: Children adopted outside the UK by British citizens may be eligible for registration, provided the adoption is recognized by UK law. - Adults with a Close Connection to the UK: - British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTCs): BOTCs who do not automatically have full British citizenship may apply for registration. This is particularly relevant since the British Overseas Territories Act 2002 granted full British citizenship to BOTCs, but there are still circumstances where registration may be necessary. - British Nationals (Overseas) (BNOs): Hong Kong residents who held BNO status before the 1997 handover to China may be eligible to register as British citizens, especially under certain visa routes introduced post-Brexit. - Persons with Historical Connections: Individuals who have a British grandparent or those who previously renounced their British citizenship may apply for registration. This is common among former citizens of British colonies who were stripped of citizenship following independence. - Other Specific Categories: - Former British Citizens: Individuals who previously renounced their British citizenship and wish to regain it can do so through registration. This process often applies to those who renounced citizenship due to the nationality laws of another country and later seek to re-establish their British citizenship. - Stateless Individuals: Those who are stateless but have ties to the UK may apply for British citizenship through registration. This is a critical provision under international law to reduce statelessness. Application Process The application for British citizenship by registration involves submitting a detailed application to the Home Office, which includes evidence supporting the applicant’s eligibility. Depending on the category, this may include: - Proof of the applicant’s connection to the UK (e.g., birth certificates, parents' nationality documents). - Evidence of the applicant's residency in the UK or British Overseas Territories. - Evidence of the applicant's stateless status, if applicable. - Documents proving the applicant’s grandparent's British citizenship or historical connection. The process also involves paying a fee, meeting character requirements (especially for adults), and in some cases, attending a citizenship ceremony where the applicant will swear allegiance to the UK. Benefits of British Citizenship by Registration Successful applicants who are granted British citizenship through registration enjoy full citizenship rights, similar to those who acquire citizenship by birth or descent: - Right to Reside: Registered British citizens have the right to live in the UK indefinitely without immigration controls. - Right to Work and Study: They can work and study in the UK without needing additional permissions or visas, and they qualify for domestic tuition fees and student loans. - British Passport: Registered citizens are entitled to apply for a British passport, facilitating global travel and providing consular protection while abroad. - Political Rights: Registered citizens can vote in UK elections, stand for public office, and participate in the UK's democratic processes. - Protection by the British Government: As British citizens, registered individuals are entitled to protection and assistance from the British government, both within the UK and abroad. 4. British Citizenship by Naturalization Understanding British Citizenship by Naturalization Naturalization is the most common method for foreign nationals to acquire British citizenship. It is a legal process that allows non-citizens who have established a long-term connection to the UK, through residency and integration, to become British citizens. Unlike registration, naturalization is primarily aimed at adults and involves stringent requirements, including language proficiency, knowledge of life in the UK, and good character. Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for British citizenship by naturalization, applicants must meet several strict criteria: - Residency Requirements: - Standard Route: Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least five years before the date of their application. During this period, they must not have been absent from the UK for more than 450 days. - Spouse of a British Citizen: For those married to or in a civil partnership with a British citizen, the residency requirement is reduced to three years. During this time, they must not have been absent from the UK for more than 270 days. - Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR): Applicants must have ILR or settled status (under the EU Settlement Scheme) at the time of their application. ILR indicates that the applicant has no time restrictions on their stay in the UK. - Good Character: Applicants must demonstrate good character, meaning they have no serious criminal record, have not breached immigration laws, and have no involvement in activities that are against the public good. - Language Proficiency: Applicants must prove their knowledge of English, Welsh, or Scottish Gaelic. This is usually demonstrated by passing an approved language test or having a degree taught in English. - Life in the UK Test: Applicants must pass the "Life in the UK Test," which assesses their knowledge of British customs, traditions, laws, and the political system. 3 Nephi, Chapter 6. "Snake Charming."
The Nephites prosper—Pride, wealth, and class distinctions arise—The Church is rent with dissensions—Satan leads the people in open rebellion—Many prophets cry repentance and are slain—Their murderers conspire to take over the government. About A.D. 26–30. "the Glare."
The Sixth Chapter of 3 Nephi says "ticklish" and "the path of the wise" were able to secure the peace through a deal with the devil, and it allowed the people to recover from war and put a little extra away for a rainy day:
1 And now it came to pass that the people of the Nephites did all return to their own lands in the twenty and sixth year, every man, with his family, his flocks and his herds, his horses and his cattle, and all things whatsoever did belong unto them.
2 And it came to pass that they had not eaten up all their provisions; therefore they did take with them all that they had not devoured, of all their grain of every kind, and their gold, and their silver, and all their precious things, and they did return to their own lands and their possessions, both on the north and on the south, both on the land northward and on the land southward.
3 And they granted unto those robbers who had entered into a covenant to keep the peace of the land, who were desirous to remain Lamanites, lands, according to their numbers, that they might have, with their labors, wherewith to subsist upon; and thus they did establish peace in all the land.
4 And they began again to prosper and to wax great; and the twenty and sixth and seventh years passed away, and there was great order in the land; and they had formed their laws according to equity and justice.
5 And now there was nothing in all the land to hinder the people from prospering continually, except they should fall into transgression.
6 And now it was Gidgiddoni, and the judge, Lachoneus, and those who had been appointed leaders, who had established this great peace in the land.
7 And it came to pass that there were many cities built anew, and there were many old cities repaired.
8 And there were many highways cast up, and many roads made, which led from city to city, and from land to land, and from place to place.
9 And thus passed away the twenty and eighth year, and the people had continual peace.
The Short Plates of Nephi were revealed, and the wise ones, the Nephites made peace with the losers, the Gadianton Robbers, who in our day we would call the Republican Party, who rob, steal, fuck, screw, lie, cheat, and drug their way through just about everything. A big mistake. After many many wars, the people rebuild, they start to become happy and that means Robbers are just going to plot and scheme to reck it all again. Just like the Republicans always do. And they are just itching to cause more trouble, and they will.
NOW that does not mean Joe Biden and Cracklin' Rosie are the sharpest light bulbs in the box, or the Democrats have ever really impressed, so we, like the Nephites are sitting, shitting ducks.
The Values in Gematria for the above verses follow:
v. 1: The 26th Year after the BOC. The Value in Gematria is 11674, יאוזד, yauzed, "will be honored." The Hebrew word for honor is kavod, which has the following etymology of "pay homage" to God:
"The core meaning of the verb כבד (kabed) is to be impressive or to be perceived as impressive, and this either in a good or bad sense. Sometimes the impressing is done by sheer merit of weight (a boulder, Proverbs 27:3, a fat man, 1 Samuel 4:18) but most often by being blatant (the sea bottom abounding with sand, Job 6:3; springs gushing with water; Proverbs 8:24). An important secondary nuance of this verb is that of immobility: something impressive or impressing isn't going to move anywhere.
Our verb may mean to be burdensome (Job 6:3, Judges 1:35), to be 'heavy' or 'immobile' of perception — which means being hard of hearing (Isaiah 59:1), poor of vision (Genesis 48:10), or hard of heart, that is uncooperative or lacking insight (Exodus 9:7) — to be weighty by the measure of society; being a big shot or being esteemed (Job 14:21, frequently of YHWH; Isaiah 66:5).
The famous command to "honor your father and your mother" (Exodus 20:12, Deuteronomy 5:16) uses this verb כבד (kabed), which demonstrates additionally that our verb doesn't simply mean 'to glorify' but rather 'to pay attention to'; to hold folks in either high or low esteem.
Someone with the sad misfortune of having bad parents isn't told to glorify them anyway, but all of us are told to heed our parents irrespective of their qualities. Some of life's most valuable lessons can be learned from watching one's parents either succeed or mess up.
Also quite important is the vapid insistence of most translations to 'glorify' the Lord, which may seem noble and pious but which really means nothing at all.
The Living God is not like the pagan deities and is not in any way flattered by people howling praises into space (1 Kings 18:26-29) but much rather wants his creatures to calmly pay attention to his words and deeds, and live their lives in the continuous understanding that the world runs on Living Rules that can be learned, understood and greatly benefitted from (1 Kings 18:36-37). (For a closer look at the concept of glory, see our article on the Greek equivalent δοξα, doxa.)"
v. 2: North to South, the Value in Gematria is 10639, יוגט, yoget, "yoke to this." There is an etymology found in the Greek words "to know."
"The verb γινωσκω (ginosko) means to know. It means to have and handle data in one's mind, or — when used in perfect forms: JOHN 8:55, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:16 — to come to know or have begun to know; to learn or even (when expanded as αναγινωσκω, anaginosko, see below) simply to read (MATTHEW 12:3).
Our verb is also used in the sense of "knowing" a man — that is: potentially bearing the fruits of a man's will (JOHN 1:13) — as it is rather spectacularly used by Mary (LUKE 1:34), who of course bore the Word in the flesh.
This is not some cute coincidence but a deliberate usage of our verb. The same usage occurs when its Hebrew counterpart ידע (yada'), meaning to know, is used to explain what Adam did to Eve for her to come up with Cain (Genesis 4:1).
The verb γινωσκω (ginosko), meaning to know, is used 222 times in the New Testament; SEE FULL CONCORDANCE. The adjacent verb γνωριζω (gnorizo) means to make known, that is: to put data in someone else's mind. This verb is used 24 times in the New Testament."
v. 3: The ignorant grow in Numbers. The Value in Gematria is 11592, ביאהט , byaht, "safekeeping."
v. 4: The Establishment of Equality and Justice, the Twenty Seventh Year after the BOC passes. The Value in Gematria is 13219, יגבאט, "slow down."
"According to the Talmud, ‘not doing your habituated ways’ means “that your walking on the Sabbath shall not be like your walking on weekdays.”[3] Rabbi Yechiel Michel Epstein (1829-1908, Lithuania) includes walking slowly, as a “person of rest,” as part of the subtle pleasure (oneg) of being in Shabbat. [4]
The intentional weekly practice of walking slowly can help a person to focus their attention on how he or she feels while walking, instead of walking quickly while thinking about what he or she needs to do."
v. 8-9: The Twenty Eighth Year after the BOC, the Value in Gematria is 12343, יבגדג , yabgad, "they will betray."
As the verses say, we cannot allow the Republicans to live among us. They are going to betray humanity, they always have they always will. This recent incident with approving aid for the people of Ukraine to help them win their war with Russia is a good example. They have not yet admitted Donald Trump cheated in the 2016 election, given up Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz or the others who were involved in the January 6, 2021 coup, they have not admitted many of their ranks are pedophiles in league with the LDS and expunged them. They have not backpaddled on Pro-Life, which is a Crime Against Humanity under the Rome Statute.
They are no good, and this snake charming we like to do with them is not going to turn out well for the world.

My fandom Beliefs..
never quite understood why ppl need posts like this, but i think i get it now.. its mostly about kpts ofc but i decided to go through other fandoms as well while im at it.. so.. in order to avoid any further awkward interactions and unpleasant surprises here are my preferences and Opinions on controversial topics (that seem completely asinine, yet somehow garner strong opinions). may not correlate with what i post on the daily, but this holds more creditability lol. nothing is negotiable, everything is a subject to Revision bc 1) im unstable lol 2) the more you know..
KPTS: 100% apo, 20% jeff (yeah, i know, math aint mathing but wwyd its love) uhh.. so many sensitive topics, where do i start.. okay.. build: dont care, but some of his fans just happen to be Seriously Horrible vile ppl practicing double thinking like its a religion, so pls DNI jic mile: ,,,dont care,,, but some of his fans just happen to be Seriously Horrible vile ppl practicing double thinking like its a religion, so pls DNI jic (the irony of these two fandoms fighting sm isnt lost on me) bible: dont care, but some of his fans (ROSATURNS) just happen to be PRECIOUS RAYS OF SUNSHINE, SWEET CINNAMON BUNS, THE BESTEST PPL ON THE PLANET 💕 tong: oh boy.. i changed my opinion abt him three times.. hes a sneaky snake for sure, but i still like him, sue me 🤷♀️ ma and bbb fans: like unicorns, check your bias above the rest of the cast: dont care but i sorta like job bc hes toll and gives apo piggybacks lol. oh and annita is super hot and sprite is a queen ot16: yeah no, cmon, its bs, ppl cant even stan two ppl like they mean it you want them to stan 16 ppl at the same time 🙄 props for the effort ofc but even those who try have huge giant biases the size of an elephant family: yeah no its even bigger bs. you know how in commerce theres a rule that 80% of the profit is made by 20% of the products. hope the analogy is clear boc: well we have to give them credit for how kpts turned out, the problems begin when we try to identify the credit for what exactly. imo its adaptation of that trash of a novel + quality of the production, all the rest i attribute to the actors. while giving them credit for that its still clear to me that they are really bad at artist management and smm and are largely Unprofessional. you'll see me cheering on ppl hatin on boc, bc first of all its fun, and second of all i find this hate-hate relationship with the fandom quite beneficial for both parties. Science | Cuproptosis,copper-induced programmed cell death
Cell death is an important process in the body as it promotes the removal of unwanted cells. Several types of regulated programmed cell death include apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis, and ferroptosis. Dixon et al. revealed that ferroptosis is a form of programmed cell death involving a series of morphological and biochemical features, including mitochondrial shrinkage and the accumulation of ROS. This article will cover a novel cell death form-
Cuproptosis
.Besides apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis and ferroptosis, a new form of programmed cell death was discovered and reported as cuproptosis, copper-induced cell death. As a cofactor for essential enzymes, copper is an indispensable trace metal to maintain protein functions. Intracellular copper concentration remains low under homeostatic control. Excess copper buildup and copper concentrations above the threshold maintained by homeostasis can be cytotoxic, but the mechanism of cell death triggered by copper remains elusive. A recent study “Copper induced cell death by targeting lipoylated TCA cycle protein” by Tsvetkov et al. published in
Science
proposed and demonstrated a copper-induced programmed cell death mechanism, in which copper induced cell death through targeting lipoylated TCA cycle proteins
[1]
.A brief mechanism of copper death
Briefly, initiated by the excessive accumulation of copper through ionophores and transporters, copper directly binds to lipoylated DLAT in cells that are dependent on mitochondrial respiration, subsequently induces aberrant oligomerization of DLAT and the formation of DLAT foci. The resulted increase of insoluble DLAT level leads to proteotoxicity and cell death [Fig. 1].
Ferrodoxin-1 (FDX1), a substrate of elesclomol, is an upstream regulator of protein lipoylation and is required for DLAT lipoylation. Additionally, as a reductase, FDX1 is known to reduce Cu (II) ions to the more toxic Cu(I) ions, subsequently leading to the inhibition of Fe-S cluster synthesis and reduction of Fe-S cluster proteins.
Copper homeostasis dysregulation
Copper homeostasis is mainly regulated by copper importer SLC31A1 and the copper exporters ATP7A and ATP7B.
In the copper dysregulation syndromes Menke’s disease and Wilson’s disease, the genes encoding these transporters are mutated. In the steady state of copper, ATP7A and ATP7B play essential roles in copper homeostasis, including intracellular copper delivery for inclusion in metalloproteins, membrane trafficking, and export of excess copper from cells. Cell death caused by dysregulation of copper homeostasis is comparable to cytotoxic effect caused by copper shuttling into the cell via copper ionophores (the copper-binding small molecules).
Fig. 1. The schematic model of cuprotosis
[2]
Copper ionophores induce cell death
In this study, the cytotoxic effects of 1,448 copper ionophores with distinct structures were evaluated in 489 different cell lines [Fig. 2A]. As a highly lipophilic Cu (II) carrier, Elesclomol alone does not affect cell growth. But adding copper significantly increases sensitivity to Elesclomol, while supplementation with other metals, including iron, cobalt, zinc, and nickel, did not increase cell death [Fig 2B]. Notably, the addition of the copper chelator TTM abolished the cell growth inhibition activity by combination of Elesclomol and copper [Fig. 2C], confirming that copper ionophore-induced cell death is mainly dependent on the accumulation of intracellular copper. Treatment of cells with other copper ionophores such as NSC-319726 and Disulfiram showed the same results as elesclomol [Fig 3D-E].
Figure 2. Copper ionophore induced cell death is copper dependent
[1]
The cell death induced by copper ionophore is non-apoptotic
No cleavage or activation of caspase 3 activity was observed in elesclomol induced-cell death. [Fig. 3D] When key effectors of apoptosis BAX and BAK1 were knocked out or when cells were co-treated with pan-caspase inhibitors (Z-VAD-FMK and Boc-D-FMK), the inhibition activity of elecsclomol remained intact, [Fig. 3E], suggesting that the copper-induced cell death is not through the apoptotic pathway. Moreover, pre-treatments with inhibitors of ferroptosis (Ferrostatin-1), Necroptosis (Necrostatin-1), and oxidative stress (N-acetyl cysteine) did not affect copper ionophore-induced cell death, [Fig 3C (Fig 1G from the original article)], indicating the existence of a distinct cell death pathway.
Figure 3. Copper ionophore induced cell death is a distinct programmed cell death pathwayMitochondrial respiration regulates copper ionophore–induced cell death
Cells that rely on mitochondrial respiration are more sensitive to copper ionophores than cells undergoing glycolysis [Fig. 4A]. In cell viability assays, cells pretreated with the ferroptosis inducer ML162 responded differently to variouis agents affecting mitochondrial functions compared to copper ionophores [Fig 4B].
Copper toxicity to the cells remained unchanged when cells were pretreated with the mitochondrial uncoupler FCCP, indicating that mitochondrial respiration is required for copper-induced cell death [Fig. 4C]. Although copper toxicity declined under hypoxic conditions, addition of the HIF prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor FG-4592 showed no effect on copper ionophore induced-cell death under normoxic conditions [Fig 4D] . It was observed that copper ionophores significantly reduced the spare capacity of respiration [Fig 4E]. These results support that copper ionophore induced-cell death is regulated by mitochondrial respiration.
Fig 4. Mitochondira respiration regulates copper ionophore-induced cell deathFDX1 and protein lipoylation are the key regulators of copper ionophore–induced cell death
Using a genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 positive selection screening, seven key genes were identified that play a role in copper-induced cell death, including FDX1 (encoding a direct target of elesclomol), and LIPT1, LIAS, DLD (three genes encoding lipoic acid pathway), or DLAT, PDHA1, and PDHB (encoding protein targets of lipoylation) [Fig 5A-C]. Individual gene knockout studies further confirmed that FDX1 and protein lipoylation are key regulators of copper ionophore-induced cell death [Fig.5D-E]. Therefore, Tsvetkov et al. thought that FDX1 was hypothesized to be an upstream regulator of protein thioctyl modification.
Figure 5. FDX1 and lipoic acid genes are critical mediators of copper ionophore-induced cell death.
Correlation analysis of gene dependencies from the Cancer Dependency Map indicated that the FDX1 and components of the lipoic acid pathways were highly correlated across the panel of cell lines [Fig. 6A]. Immunohistochemistry staining results further confirmed this significant correlation [Fig. 6B-6C]. FDX1 knockout abolished protein lipoylation and resulted in a significant decrease in cellular respiration [Fig. 6D-E]. Furthermore, accumulation of pyruvate and α-ketoglutarate and depletion of succinate were observed followed deletion of FDX1 [Fig. 6F]. These results suggest that FDX1 is an upstream regulator of protein lipoylation.
Fig 6. FDX1 is an upstream regulator of protein lipoylationCopper directly binds and induces the oligomerization of lipoylated DLAT
Some studies have reported that the dissociation constants of copper ions and free fatty acids are 10-17, which indicates that copper ions may bind directly to thiocylated proteins. DLAT and DLST proteins purified from cell lysates bound to copper-charged resin but not to cobalt or nickel resins [Fig. 7A]. FDX1 knockout abolished protein lipoylation and the resulted naked DLAT and DLST no longer bound copper [Fig. 7B-C], lipoylation is thus a prerequisite for copper binding. Immunofluorescence imaging results support that copper binding leads to the toxic aggregation of lipoylated DLAT [Fig 7D]. These results also suggested that the toxicity of thioacylated proteins after copper ionophore treatment is mediated by their abnormal oligomerization.
Proteomic analysis of control and elesclomol treatment showed the downregulation of Fe-S cluster genes [Fig 7E] and loss of Fe-S cluster proteins by copper ionophore treatment (Data not shown). These findings indicate that copper can destabilize Fe-S-containing proteins.
Figure 7. Copper directly binds to lipoylated DLAT and induces its oligomerizationCopper-induced death mechanisms are shared by genetic models of copper homeostasis dysregulation
The copper importer SLC31A1 (CTR1) and copper exporters ATP7A and ATP78 regulate homeostatic state of copper and normally keep intracellular copper concentration low. Overexpression of SLC1A1 in HEK293T and ABC1 cells was found to significantly increase sensitivity to physiological copper concentrations. [Fig 8B] Treatment of SLC31A1 overexpressed cells with copper resulted in the reduction of protein lipoylation and Fe-S cluster protein level, as well as increase of HSP70 [Fig. 8C].
The use of ferrodeath, necrotizing apoptosis, and inhibitors of apoptosis in cells overexpressing SLC31A1 did not affect copper-induced cell death, but copper chelators alleviated the cell-killing effect produced by copper ionophore. Whereas copper chelators, FDX1 KO and LIAS KO each partially rescued cells from copper-induced cell death [Fig 8D-E]. Tsvetkov et al. demonstrated this same mechanism of copper-induced cell death in vivo. In Menke’s disease-associated Atpb7b−/− mice, it showed that the Fe-S cluster and lipoylated proteins were significantly reduced and Hsp70 protein was significantly increased compared with those in wild-type mice, further illustrating that excessive intracellular copper accumulation leads to cell death in vivo. These animal model results are in line with the copper ionophore induced cellular effects.
Figure 8. Common mechanisms between chemically and genetically induced Copper-dependent cell death
[2]
Conclusion:In this study, a novel type of programmed cell death, cuproptosis, was proposed and demonstrated. In this pathway, excess copper triggers abnormal aggregation of lipoylated proteins in TCA cycle and clearance of Fe-S cluster proteins, which is associated with upstream regulation by FDX1, ultimately leading to cell death.

What is BOC 3 and how to find the right agent?
Starting your own freight forwarding company can be very rewarding but it is a painstakingly long process to get the firm up and running. The most crucial part is getting the firm registered with FMCSA. The plethora of paperwork to file is what nightmares are made of. if you decide to file brokers BOC3 application yourself, on top of all the other paperwork, how are you going to focus on your business operations then?
Process of getting a shipping company registered:
The following steps are involved when you start the registration process. first is always getting to know all the requirements, regulations, and documents needed, after that:
Acquire US DOT number
Acquire operating authority number
Starting FMCSA Application
Proof of Insurance
BOC 3 application
new entrant safety assurance program
Obtain permanent US DOT number
Maintain/update US DOT and Operation authority information.
The first thing is applying for a US DOT number with all the basic information of the company. As soon as you receive your US Dot number then you have to file for operating authority number. Based on the types of operation your company will be running an operating authority number can be “MC," "FF," or "MX" number.
Brokers BOC 3 Application:
Once you receive the US DOT number and operating authority number your general information will become public on the FMCSA website. This is when you will start getting a lot of unsolicited (mostly scamming) calls from companies offering to file BOC 3 on your behalf.
What is BOC 3?
BOC 3 or blanket of coverage is a form that must be filed by a process agent upon whom legal documents will be served. FMCSA requires that BOC 3 must be filed by a process agent and without enlisting a process agent you won’t be allowed to carry on operations.
How to find the right agent?
The most important thing is never to acknowledge any unsolicited calls that you WILL receive.
Go to FMCSA website
Look at the list of registered process agents
Evaluate their information
Find the company providing a blanket of coverage i.e. can act as a process agent in all the states you’ll be operating
Get a quote
Send a formal application to the company
After you send your application, most companies file brokers BOC3 application within the next 24 to 48 hours. Broker or freight forwarders without CMVs may name themselves as process agents i.e. can file BOC 3 on their behalf.
Where to file BOC 3?
That is not your concern as your process agent will do this but if you’re naming yourself as the process agent then an original signed copy of BOC 3 must be filed FMCSA office (by posting it, not an online thing).
One signed copy should be filed with each state in or through which your company will be conducting operations. One copy should be retained by the carrier, broker, or freight forwarder for their record.
Conclusion:
If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy process agent for your brokers BOC3 application, that can provide Blanket of coverage, then A+ agents of the process are one of the best.
