Gold alloy mourning ring commemorating Captain George Blagdon Westcott (1745-1798), who was killed at the Battle of the Nile.

The bezel of the ring is decorated with an anchor made up of brilliants, which is set on a background of woven blond hair, and is contained under a crystal. The edge of the bezel is inscribed on a black enamel background (taille d'épargne) with the words 'G B WESTCOTT OB 1 Aug 1798'.

-John Laurens: Seth Numrich (is anyone else so dissapointed that Laurens wasnt a character in Turn ?? ☹️ first of all, the cast would have been ABSOLUTELY perfect and the characters are extremely similar anyhow)

-Alexander Hamilton: Mike Faist BABYYYY (i think his portrayal of Hamilton would be another level 🛐 the attitude, the looks ??? like thats him, end of discussion)

-Richard Kidder Meade : George Blagdon (idk this feels right :D)

-Lafayette: i think Brian Wiles is the perfect choice, no comment

An original grog bucket from HMS Majesty, a 74 Gun third-rate ship of the line launched in 1785 at Deptford, England fought at Aboukir Bay, known as "The Battle of the Nile" under the command of Captain George Blagdon Westcott who was killed in during the action. Incribed : "Good men of the MAJESTIC. In remembrance of ABOUKIR BAY. Your toast shall be God Bless KING GEORGE, ADMIRAL NELSON and brave CAPTAIN WESTCOTT. 1798"

The contents of this bucket is of course not enough for the whole crew. But the grog was usually distributed from the barrel in such buckets to the individual divisions to avoid long queues.
